Experiencia fantástica: I have been pleased with my transition to City Square Dental. I have always had positive experiences with dentists and this experience has also been positive. As a patient I have been treated professionally and with respect. My questions have been answered, procedures explained and they are transparent regarding my treatment. Dr. Behm has a gentle touch and the rest of the staff make me feel confident that they have had good training and know what they are doing.

Experiencia fantástica: Best Dentist office in mchenry county. Ive been coming to this office for a few years now. You get greeted as you walk in the door. With a nice waiting room. Everyone that I have interacted with in the office is always in a good mood. I can’t say enough about how great the staff is. The quality of work and service you get here is what all other offices should be measured against when choosing who takes care of your dental needs.

I've had my fair share of bad experiences with previous dentists, but City Square's team and their care is top notch.

Experiencia negativa: Felt totally taken advantage of. Went there for a second opinion but instead they issisted on a comprehesive dental plan that I told them twice I didn't want. Both dentist and hyhygienist do the hard sell to get you back for dental work you don't want. After getting out of my chair to leave bc I was not going to get the second opinion I was there for the hygienist went as far as blocking my exit. Totally disgusted do not recommend.

We had recently switched dental insurance and didn’t have our info on hand and they called and got it for us. They gave my son a little fidget toy and were so great with making sure he was comfortable. Everyone was so kind, helpful and eveything was done so quickly! Tooth looks great and we couldn’t be happier.

They helped me maneuver my insurance concerns and they kept me abreast of all my appointment times! The hygienists are all professional, knowledgeable and compassionate! I did experience my first crown appointment a few weeks ago. I was so impressed with Dr Behm and her assistant, Nixy. They took photos and showed them to me throughout the appointment to help me understand why I needed a crown. They also used a state of the art scanner to design my crown. I didn’t have any goopy impressions. I watched them design my crown and then I watched it being milled from a block of porcelain. I was amazed! I left that day with my real crown, not a temporary! I was so impressed! I will recommend City Square Dental for anyone’s dental needs!

Experiencia negativa: I had made it clear to the hygenist several times that one area of my mouth had surgery and must be avoided at all cost. She ignored that and immediately starts probing there causing me to scream in pain and telling her to stop. Instead of checking to see if I was ok, she slumped her shoulders and stared at the wall without a word. I knew right away that she was quite irritated by my audacity to react to pain. The dentist came in shortly after and began rattaling off a long list of everything that was wrong. She became more and more agitated about the issues. I was confused as this was the first I heard of it. Something felt off, and I indicated I was going to speak with my perio. I told them later I was going to get a 2nd opinion. I got a call from the dentist shortly afterward. Good on her for calling quickly and not sending it to someone else. The dentist proceeded to lecture me that because the hygenist was wearing a mask, there was no way I could know she was agitated. She was defending her employee, fair enough, but I know human body language, and I knew what her stance meant. There was no uncertainty. I had a better experience with the new dentist. She saw me shaking in the chair with anxiety from my previous experience, and with compassion, she quickly indicated that it's not as bad as it was made out to be, and we have just discussed a plan with my perio. Because of the trauma from here, I NOW require nitrious at any and all appointments out of fear of being made to feel pain with zero compassion.
