Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience with Dr. Myers. I felt that I was treated as a tooth that needed repair and not a person. He was rushed and impatient throughout both visits, and unsympathetic to the pain and the anxiety I was experiencing during the procedure. He had zero bedside/chairside manner. Equally awful was the way he treated the dental assistant. If my boss had spoken to me the way he continuously spoke to her ( in the name of “educating”her), I would have quit on the spot. Her obvious nervousness over pleasing him added to the general anxiety of the process. My dentist referred me there because of his Cool Wave procedure but it wasn’t worth it.

Experiencia negativa: I was ripped off to the tune of $700 by these guys. I was suffering from a very painful toothache that required a root canal. My regular dentist referred me to this practice because they said they could get me in quickly. Well, all they actually did was to perform the same imaging that my dentist already did, and then said they had no idea when they could actually get me in for the procedure. So what was the point of getting me in quickly just for that? That process could have waited until they had availability to perform the root canal. It seems they just wanted my money and then put me on a waiting list. Then, when I found another endontist that COULD get me in quickly, Myers wouldn't provide their imaging so it had to be done a 3rd time! As someone in a lot of pain I was at their mercy and was taken advantage of. Also, they prescribed a steroid to help with my pain, but I had already indicated on the intake form that I was already on a steroid for something else. When I raised my concern, they emphatically said not to take the one they just prescribed. I guess they don't pay any attention to intake forms information. Good thing I thought to ask. Thirdly, Gregory Myers himself was not communicative other than to let me know that the root canal process is very difficult implying that he thinks an awful lot of himself -- more so than of his clients, it would seem. He just seemed a bit full of himself. Not that this really matters in the long run, but I prefer being treated by someone who cares about his patients for more than their cash.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office from start to finish. My biggest issue was the lack of transparency about the cost of my treatment. I believed my insurance would cover the procedure, but after everything was completed, I was left with a bill of over $300. I was later told they had already applied a discount of around $190, but that didn’t address my main concern. If I had been told the full out-of-pocket cost before the procedure, I would have declined it altogether. A discount on a service I never would have agreed to doesn’t change the fact that I wasn’t given the information I needed to make an informed decision. The office also accused me of trying to leave without paying, which was completely untrue. I was trying to discuss payment options because I couldn’t afford the unexpected balance. At the time, they were unwilling to work with me. Then, months later, I received calls offering a payment plan while also threatening to send the account to collections. That was frustrating because I had already tried to resolve the matter much earlier. I also attempted to negotiate a settlement by offering to pay a significant portion of the balance immediately. Instead of having a respectful conversation, I was told no. When I asked to speak directly with Dr. Greg Myers, the conversation became extremely unprofessional. In my experience, he spoke to me disrespectfully, used profanity, and ultimately hung up on me while I was trying to resolve the issue. I found that behavior unacceptable from a healthcare professional. My interactions with the front desk staff, including Kara, were also disappointing. I did not feel heard, respected, or treated like a valued patient. Overall, this experience left me feeling misled about costs and poorly treated when I tried to work out a reasonable solution. I would encourage anyone considering this office to ask for a detailed written estimate of all costs before agreeing to any treatment and to make sure they fully understand what their insurance will and will not cover.

Experiencia fantástica: AMAZING. Dr. Myers and nurse (Sam?) were awesome. Doctor was very concentrated in what he was doing and he and the nurse communicated as to each step and he was "just about educating" her on the procedure and perhaps differences that she may had not encountered in other situations. I knew that it was to take about an hour but I was not prepared for my mouth to be completely open the whole time and that there would not be a pause for me to close my mouth at all.The nurse knew my pain and softly soothed the jaw area. I only wish I had asked more about the procedure to better prepare myself. Doctor, nurses, staff you all have been wonderful. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional Dr. Their CT scan machine does not fit anyone with broad shoulders. They tried multiple times but the machine kept hitting my shoulders and eventually pressed itself on my neck pushing my throat against the machine. I was then immediately sent to billing to be charged $310. I disputed the amount because of the lack of appropriate care and Dr. Myers started arguing with me while working on another patient. He eventually told me to just leave.

Dr. Myers explained the entire procedure prior to my appointment. While completing the root canal he explained what he was doing and why. The “cool wave” machine was state of the art and I had zero pain during the entire visit. My recovery was also pain free. I’m sorry I waited so long to make the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Gregory Myers to anyone needing a root canal. Total professional!!

Unfortunately, I needed to have two teeth worked on at once, so I was in the chair for a good chunk of my morning. He worked diligently and methodically through each step, and honestly it was completed before I knew it. No one wishes to get a root canal, but if you have to undertake the procedure, I definitely recommend Dr. Meyers. Dentist/dental procedures anxiety is a real thing, I have it too, but they took great care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Myers is one of the best endodontists in the Cleveland area. His use of Gentle Wave technology was crucial to my decision to go with him. No pain during the procedure, and very little discomfort afterwards. This particular tooth was a challenge (calcified), but Dr. Myers successfully found the canals and completed the procedure without disturbing the crown that was already on the tooth. Highly recommend!

She walked me through all of the charges and procedures prior to my visit. I was able to complete all forms online. A personality like Lisa’s will keep patients coming to a practice. First impressions can make or break the desire to work with a doctor. Unfriendly frontline employees have caused me to switch doctors. This group gets top marks in my book. The “gentle wave” experience was amazing. I had absolutely zero pain during and after the procedure, not even a sore jaw from keeping my mouth open. Additionally, the procedure was surprusingly fast. If you’ve ever had a root canal, it can be very time consuming and this was extremely efficient. His assistant, Tamiko, was so compassionate and handled all of my questions, prep for the procedure, and x-rays in a very professional and friendly manner. She was fantastic!!

The professional office staff welcomed me warmly and knowing how I was feeling they spoke comforting words to me and told me that all would be well. The Dental Assistant was calming, patient, and ensured I was comfortable by setting up the TV to my preference. Dr. Myers explained every step, answered all my questions, and helped ease my concerns, such as: 1. Will the needle hurt going in? 2. Will my tongue be numb? 3. Will this be painful? The double-root canal procedure was painless and done quicker than I ever expected. If you are uncomfortable with going to an Endodontist, you must give Dr. Gregory Myers and his staff the opportunity to show you how one of the most dreaded dental procedures can become one that no longer has you anxious, nervous, or in fear.

We called Dr. Myers office and explained the situation and the pain he was having and they selflessly extended their work day to get him in the next day putting the entire team after normal hours to perform the root canal. The procedure was flawless and the pain was finally gone after a long few days of suffering. Dr. Myers and his entire staff looked after my son as if he were their own child and any decent parent could understand what that meant. I would give this entire office 10 stars if I could. Dr. Myers is an extremely talented doctor with excellent communication and surgical skills. We are so thankful to have him and his team practicing in our community.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Dr. Myers' office by my general dentist after an x-ray at my six-month checkup showed a tooth that needed a root canal (even though I was asymptomatic). On the day of the procedure with Dr. Myers, I became quite anxious because I've never had a root canal. Dr. Myers and his support staff were extremely patient with me, explained the procedure, and calmed my nerves. The root canal was basically pain free both during the procedure and afterward. I highly recommend Dr. Myers to anyone needing endodontic work!

Experiencia negativa: Would NOT recommend. Dr. Myers was dismissive and condescending during a visit to try to diagnose an on-going chronic problem. When the chronic problem developed into an acute problem, his staff was unhelpful; she promised to call back on Monday as to when he might be able to see me...it is now Wednesday and no call back. Definitely find someone else.

Experiencia negativa: I didn't know businesses could treat customers this poorly and continue to operate. I mean, a MEDICAL office, treat patients who allegedly have life-threatening infections, in a manner where their doctor demands expensive, proprietary services/technology OR ELSE. If you select the "or else", be prepared to pay out of pocket for all of the scans/pre-appointment work his office will bill to your insurance, and then actively disregard requests to share that information. I expected this behavior at customer services venues like restaurants or bars... not from a doctor who says if you neglect your infected root canal, it can lead to bone density loss, and/or death... who subsequently ghosts you/goes out of their way to make your alternate treatment options happen without being independently wealthy.

Experiencia negativa: ⭐ (1 star) My experience with Dr. Myers' practice was surreal, embarrassing, and infuriating—like dealing with a petty dictator rather than a medical professional. Initial visit went fine until it came time to schedule the root canal. Suddenly, I was heavily pressured into signing a form agreeing to pay hundreds of dollars extra for Dr. Myers' special "advanced technology" procedure. The strong implication was clear: agree to this additional fee or don't get treatment here. When I needed to reschedule after getting sick, I was suddenly banished to the Bermuda Triangle of medicine—the infamous "Waitlist Limbo" that you won't know exists until you're stuck there. The front desk dragon (Michelle/Shelley) refused to give any information about if or when I might get seen again. For FOUR WEEKS, I called periodically asking: Would I get seen? When would I get seen? What should I do in the meantime with my infected tooth? Each time, the response was the same hostile, evasive "you're on the waitlist" with no further explanation. When I directly asked if I should seek care elsewhere, she repeated the same line with an unmistakable "you deserve this" attitude before hanging up. The final slap in the face: After finding another endodontist and requesting my records be transferred, they sent only partial information (X-rays but no CT scans). When I called from my new doctor's waiting room to request the missing scans, I was told only Dr. Myers could release them—and he was conveniently "unavailable." This practice showed shocking unprofessionalism in handling a simple rescheduling request, leaving me with an untreated infection and incomplete medical records.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Myers and his incredible team — Michelle and Tamiko! From the moment I walked in, Michelle greeted me with professionalism and warmth that immediately put me at ease. The entire experience was smooth and more than accommodating. Dr. Myers took the time to thoroughly explain the process, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. His approach made what could have been a stressful experience virtually pain-free (root canal). Tamiko, who assisted Dr. Myers, was kind, attentive, and added a caring touch that truly made a difference. I drove and will keep driving from Akron to Solon for their care — that’s how much I trust and value their service. If I ever need more work done, this is the only place I’ll go. Experiencia fantástica: Pretty much a 911 root canal call which Dr. Myers and his staff answered the call! Just relocated to Ohio from out of state and experienced extreme discomfort that ultimately lead to a root canal performed by Dr. Myers without ever seeing me before. State of the art equipment and practice. The procedure itself went incredibly smooth with no unusual pain or discomfort. Can't recommend them enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Dr Meyers to anyone who needs a root canal. I had a hot tooth that took forever to get numb he never gave up. The root canal took around 5 - 10 min. The whole team was very nice and informative on what they were going to do. I really appreciated the call the next day to see if I was doing ok.

Experiencia fantástica: If you must have a root canal, this is the guy to do it. I have now had two root canals performed by Dr. Myers, and have been very pleased with the results. Dr. Myers uses the GentleWave technology, that makes the process faster and (for me) painless. I was scheduled for an 8:00 a.m. appointment, and was done and on my way to work by 9:10 a.m. I worked a full day with no pain, and then went bowling with my wife. I am writing this 32 hours after the procedure, and I feel fine.

I have great appreciation and gratitude to him and his team for the expertise, courtesy and empathy with which they performed the procedure. Dr. Myers brings great knowledge and insight to his practice and employs state-of-the-art technology to make root canal far less painful and prolonged a procedure than it once was. In fact, the procedure was hardly painful at all. Dr. Myers' assistants all made sure I was as comfortable as possible before, during and after the procedure. When they called the following day to check to see how I was doing, I was happily able to report I had no discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Myers to anyone needing root canal treatment.

Experiencia negativa: My wife was treated very poorly and unprofessionally by Mr. Myers, hardly worthy of the title doctor, with no compassion whatsoever. Shame on you. In response to your comment Mr. Meyers, the situation was most certainly within your control. The way you spoke to and treated my wife was unprofessional and disrespectful. Your lack of compassion and care for your patient is the worst I’ve ever heard and, if asked, I would strongly caution any patient seeking endodontic care to consider most any other practitioner. Again, shame on you, and your condescending manner.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr Gregory Myers for root canal. I had this procedure done on two occasions, several years ago by another endodontist, but the new technologies used by Dr Myers are "light years" ahead of the way the procedure used to be done. Also one visit instead of two visits. The staff supporting Dr Myers were also very professional, and the hygiene in the office was exceptional. Oh yes, no pain during the procedure or the next day.

Apparently my tooth gave Dr. Myers more trouble than normal, but that never made it any worse for me, it just took a little longer. Nice clean and comfortable office, and all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
