Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Madi, DDS talked to me at length about every tooth in my mouth after manually testing and inspecting each tooth and the surrounding gum tissue and bone structure while his assistant took notes and added Dr. Madi's findings to my chart. After learning of Dr. Maudi's findings and taking a few days to think these findings over, I have decided to go forward with his recommendations to prevent any further dental problems. While my surgeon (from a different practice) was the best care I could have asked for the many implants that were necessary, turns out I need very complicated and detailed aftercare in order to maintain those implants. Both Dr. Carvelli and the technicians provided me with invaluable and extraordinary details on what I must do in order to preserve the hard work and investment in my implants. Experiencia fantástica: I was referred by my Denist for a tooth extraction that was beyond his area of practice. I went for an initial consultation and was impressed by the staff who were very friendly to a new patient, the dental assistant who kept me informed about all that was going on and the Dentist, who fully explained what the extraction was going to do, why he thought an implant would be beneficial to replace the extract, what impacts moving forward without the implant would be like and then allowed me to process the information and choose how to proceed. His information was inline with what my primary dentist had said to expect. His staff informed me of costs to expect after my discussion with the dentist and will work with my insurance to see what is covered. My experience has been good so far, I will post again after the extraction.

He did an outstanding job restoring bone and gum to give me outstanding implants and the results speak for themselves. After three other specialists recommended pricey grafts or pinhole surgery—and even disagreed on which teeth “needed” work—Dr Caplanis shared with me the latest research, explained that my recession was moderate, and said treatment should wait. He recommended routine cleanings, a night guard, and a yearly check-up instead of immediate surgery (which was quoted at $7k by others). One year later, my gums were stable (confirmed by Dr Caplanis and my dentist) and Dr Caplanis confirmed no further action was necessary at this time. It’s refreshing to find a board-certified latest evidence based periodontist who prioritizes what’s best for the patient over unnecessary procedures. Highly recommended.
