Experiencia fantástica: My son had his very first dentist appointment today, and I truly believe there's a special place in Heaven for pediatric dentists. Dr Erin was wonderful, kind and patient! My son was of course not thrilled, but everyone was kind and understanding. I'm very happy I picked this place!

Experiencia fantástica: I had to find a new dentist for my kids after moving to Eugene from out of state. After much inner-debate, I finally landed on Treehouse. They were absolutely incredible. First, their facility is so much fun with the treehouse theme. The environment is half the battle in overcoming kids' dental anxiety, and they have it figured out. The office staff were all welcoming. There were no walls between treatment areas, which prevented a lot of worry for my kids about what procedure might be going on next to them. All of their equipment was pediatric-specific. Our treatment staff was amazing. They spoke directly to my kids in age-appropriate ways about their teeth. We love Dr. Erin. She is so incredibly friendly and left us feeling at ease. I felt like my kids, for the first time, had a pediatric-focused dentist. I would recommend her and her office to anyone and everyone. Lastly, my kids opened the bubbles they got at the end. I had a panic moment until I saw the dental hygienist doing it too. She told me, "We blow bubbles in here all day!" For sure, 12/10 experience.

Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost if you have a child TAKE THEM TO TREEHOUSE. Not only is the staff treat everyone as family, each and everyone is kind, compassionate,friendly and straight to the point. We came in with an emergency not only were they able to see us next day but their wait time for treatment is so much sooner than another dentist is town. They also have an afterhours line incase you need immediate help. Their office is GREAT for any kiddos who are worried, dont like the dentist. Dr. Erin not only was able to get my kiddo to show her his teeth but she was able to get him to want to go BACK that says alot from a kiddo that absolutely dont like the dentist. Long story short our family cant recommend Treehouse dentist enough. We have told everyone we know with kiddos about them. If your thinking of using treehouse PLEASE go check them out. Their office smells great, there is SO MUCH stuff for kiddos to do, this office deserves an AWARD.

Experiencia fantástica: We absolutely love Treehouse Kids Dentist! I have three daughters, and they genuinely look forward to going to the dentist every time. The entire team is so kind, patient, and wonderful with kids. They make each visit feel fun, comfortable, and positive. What makes it even more special is how much they feel like part of our neighborhood. My kids love running around the building on our walks and even riding their bikes in the parking lot when they’re closed. It feels welcoming and community-centered, not stressful or clinical. We’re so grateful to have found a dental office that makes taking care of teeth something my daughters actually get excited about. Highly recommend to any family looking for a fantastic pediatric dentist!

From quick check ups to a procedure requiring sedation, the patience and care they offer at every appointment is wildly impressive. My kids are 2 and 4. I will forever be jealous that they are patients at Treehouse and I dont get to be.

Experiencia fantástica: There are so many pediatric dental offices to choose from in the area and I am SO happy we chose this one. The play area, waiting area and front desk receptionists were so welcoming and kind. It was my first dental appointment for both of my children and my son is very shy and nervous and because of the care he received he did so well. Dr. Estep was very sweet to my children and explained everything very well. I had to push them out the door because they wanted to stay longer. Amazing experience that was efficient and organized!

Experiencia negativa: I would recommend a dentist with more compassion. I would also recommend a dental office that doesn’t blind side you with a bill for a standard consultation with x-rays. They said they couldn’t give us an estimate because it’s “hard”, but every other office we talked to gave us an estimate for self-pay. We walked out the door with over a $700 bill. The estimates everywhere else were much smaller. I literally felt sick after leaving. I only chose to go back because my kids had been there before, and I shouldn’t have. They were going to cancel my next appointment for a minor insurance issue that was easy to resolve and a 99.99% chance they would get paid out by them, but when I was doing self-pay they blind sided me with a huge bill on my way out the door that they had no way of confirming beforehand that I would be able to pay. And then when something happens outside of my control, I give them a heads up that I’m going to be late. They said they would see if they had time when we got there, then called and said they have a 10-minute grace period, so I said I could be there in 10 minutes because my daughters school finally let her out. They said “yeah, no. Sorry.” I was speechless because it did not make any sense, and it did not seem fair. Updated to add: I gave a heads up that I would be 10 minutes late. I arrived 10 minutes late. It was cancelled anyways! BEFORE I could arrive. It just seems like at this point that the dentist was trying to free up some extra time. They said 10 minutes over the phone, I said I could be there in 10 minutes, and they said “yeah, no. There’s not going to be enough time.” How does that make any sense, other than the dentist just not feeling very kind that day and giving us the short end of the stick. Especially since they initially said they could see if they have time when we arrive, only to call and backtrack on that. My daughter has a dental phobia and I chose this place because I thought it would be a better experience for her. It has only added to that negative association for her. We were all in tears on the way back home. She was really looking forward to getting her dental treatment over with and will now need to wait months. Final update: I just want to explain this clearly, because it seems like my point is being missed. I was not given a chance to arrive before my appointment was canceled. I tried doing the right thing and giving them a heads up, and it was taken advantage of. I said I would be 10-15 minutes late. Receptionist sent me a text that said they would see if they had time when I arrived. They called me a moment later at 10:51 (appointment was at 11) saying the dentist said to cancel. I was not given a chance, despite explaining to the receptionist over the phone that my updated eta would be within their “10-minute grace period.” He just told me no. I arrived there to get it rescheduled after they told me that, because my CarPlay cut out during the phone call. I was outside of their office at 11:10 on the dot, and was no longer there to have my daughter be seen because they already dropped our appointment. This is nothing more than the dentist choosing not to give us a chance and taking advantage of the extra time she could free up. We waited months, and it could only be rescheduled another couple months out. So we chose to not go back.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to share my experience so other parents understand how Treehouse Dental handles scheduling and communication. I had been bringing my children here for quite some time and really appreciated how patient and kind the staff were in the beginning — they helped my son overcome his fear of the dentist, which meant a lot to me. Unfortunately, our experience changed over time. We were told our family was being dismissed from the practice due to “no call, no shows,” but each of the times they referenced had clear communication. In 2023, I called the morning of the appointments to let them know one of my children had tested positive for COVID. Since all three children had been exposed, I canceled responsibly as recommended by health guidelines. More recently, Treehouse Dental called me the day before an appointment to inform me that my insurance coverage had changed. I explained that if it wasn’t covered, we would have to cancel — that, too, was counted as a no show. When I called to discuss it, the conversation was not handled in a professional or courteous way. I felt spoken over and dismissed. During our last visit, the atmosphere was noticeably uncomfortable — staff avoided eye contact, communicated with each other instead of with me, and made repeated comments about how they were “doing me a favor” by seeing my children. I left feeling very disappointed, especially after previously having such a positive experience. I hope Treehouse Dental can work on better communication and consistency, because their early care for my kids really was wonderful. Response: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I want to clarify a few details respectfully. My review wasn’t directed toward any single assistant — the dismissiveness I described was from multiple staff members during that visit. No one made eye contact or acknowledged me, even when I spoke directly to them. As for the missed appointments, I did call about the COVID exposure and was told at the time that canceling was the right thing to do. Only to be told years later it was counted as a strike for each of my 3 children. I never refused communication about insurance; in fact, I spoke with staff the day before the appointment and explained that I couldn’t proceed without confirmed coverage. As I could not afford it. I truly did appreciate the care we received in the early years, and that’s what made this situation so disappointing. My intention was simply to share an honest account of our experience so other families can be aware of how scheduling and communication are handled.

Experiencia fantástica: Probably the most caring and best dentist for kids I've ever seen. Everyone in there department did above and beyond to ensure the quality of work done , and most importantly made my child feel safe / cared for. Thank you again Treehouse staff . You ALL are truly amazing!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We LOVE this place! Nobody wants to hear your little one has cavities and needs to be put under for the work but that is where we found ourselves. From the first moment we called the receptionist, we felt at ease. Everyone is SO kind, understanding, and not once did we feel judged for the amount of work needed. Our daughter is extremely apprehensive, but especially to men. Everyone in this office is very respectful of that! When it came time for the procedure, they didn't even push it with Dr. Hanson, the anesthesiologist, escorting her back so instead Dr. Estep brought her back with no problem. She is a mommy's girl through and through but they did great with her! There was no fight, tears, or trauma. When it was time to go get her in the recovery room, it was so sweet to see Dr. Hanson holding her all bundled up in a blanket. They definitely care for your child just like they are their own. Everything went wonderfully and we very much recommend Dr. Estep, Treehouse Dentist, and Dr. Hanson with Atlas Anesthesia.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been going to this pediatric dental office since it opened, and I can’t say enough great things about it. I have two boys, and every visit has been a positive experience. The staff is incredibly responsive, friendly, and truly knowledgeable. They always make my kids feel comfortable, and the fun, kid-friendly office atmosphere really helps put them at ease. Dr. Estep goes above and beyond—not just in her care for patients, but in her support for the community. She has such a generous and giving heart, and it shows in everything she does. We’re so grateful to have her as our kids’ dentist. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire space was. The office has a bright, cheerful interior that feels both welcoming and calming—perfect for little ones who might be nervous about a dental visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone we interacted with, from the front desk to the dentist, made my child feel comfortable and cared for. Most importantly, the dentist was highly skilled, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Dr Erin has a special way of communicating with kids and making them feel safe. Thank you Treehouse for providing excellent care to kids in our community! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dental home.

I cannot recommend Treehouse enough… seriously 10/10! Dr. Erin is amazing and so wonderful with my kids! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Estep is amazing with kids! My 9 year old has a lot of anxiety about the dentist and Dr. Estep knows just what to do to keep her calm and make the experience fun for her. Her staff is very friendly. The office is beautiful, and includes a fun treehouse with slide for the kids to play on while they're waiting to be seen. In addition to all of this, they offer the latest technology including a laser for cavities. My daughter needed a filling and there was no need for numbing which was a huge win. I would highly recommend Treehouse Kids Dentist for your children's dental needs!

Experiencia negativa: there were only a handful of dentist on my plan in the area, they had the soonest appointment but I should have just went somewhere else. Two words: dishonest and rude, especially the office manager. In which I’m not the only one star review that specifically mentions her. I called my insurance before the visit to verify eligibility for the preventative care visit and if/what X-rays would be covered. I told multiple staff members, front desk and techs, that we are only covered for a partial this visit. Your staff then proceeded to take more than the partial X-rays and submitted it to insurance which exceeded the limit of a partial X-ray so they bumped it up to a full X-ray in which cost ME out of pocket because your staff a) doesn’t listen to the parents request and/or b) isn’t well versed on what constitutes as a partial or full X-ray which is ridiculous considering it’s their job.

Experiencia fantástica: TreeHouse staff all worked exceptional as a team to keep me informed throughout my sons dental procedure today. There process from beginning to end was seamless. From giving me the info on paper in advance and calling to go over it beforehand. Then they allowed a few days time before calling again to make sure I had all my questions answered. I knew what to expect. During his procedure they managed time well, all while keeping me up to date on how he was doing . Then A staff member reviewed aftercare insructions with at the best time. I am thankful to staff. And I would recommend Treehouse kids Dentist to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Doctor treated my son like a number. Instead of educating me on my sons condition threatened me with CPS to force me to get a procedure done on my 2yr old that would involve anesthesia. I went to another dentist and my son and I are much happier with the care there and the quality of service they provide. Wouldn't ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. Response: me not having him seen there since 2023 doesn't change the validity of my experience. Yes I'm sure. The fact that you wouldn't remember treating someone this way only makes it worse honestly.

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 recommend! My wife and I have been absolutely dreading taking our daughter to the dentist basically since she was born. Was our child perfect? No! But the experience was far more than we ever could have expected. From check in to check out the experience was overwhelmingly easy and pleasant. They even get your next appointment set up which we have found isn't the case for all pediatric care and we end up missing milestone appointments. They understand what your child needs and help you as the parent to also feel successful. Had we known the right dentist could make it this easy we wouldn't have spent so much time worrying. To note, we live in Roseburg and will continue to drive to Springfield because of the great experience! A great big thank you to Dr. Erin and her staff for making this such a good experience!

Experiencia fantástica: We had the very best experience! Dr. Erin and her team are wonderful! My daughter had to have 2 baby teeth extracted and she's terrified of needles. The anesthesiologist got down on his knees and talked to her at her level - she left my side to go with him and Dr. Erin without any tears!! When he woke her up, her only complaint was that she was "having the best dream ever". And all the ride home, she talked excitedly about the nice toys and oral hygiene supplies they gave her. The whole team was professional and fantastic with kiddos. The office has a very warm friendly feel and has a fun treehouse for the kids to play in, too! As an (adult) dentist myself, I know a great office when I see one: This is the best office in Eugene / Springfield!! Thank you :)

I can tell that Dr Erin truly cares for children. The environment in her dental office is so fun, warm and welcoming. My son actually gets excited to go to his dental visits! The most impressive piece I’ll add is that about a year ago when my son required a dental surgery Doctor Erin, and her team ensured us that our son would be in great hands. We met the team, we were given clear explanation on the process, and what to expect upon returning home. We were given the doctor’s cell number to call at any time we needed her. Doctor Erin even checked in on my son personally via text and phone call post-op. They made a very emotional event for us a safe and calm one. If you’re looking for a dental office for your children I highly recommend Dr Erin at Treehouse Kids Dentist.

Making sure everyone is comfortable and aware of all that is happening. Very communicative before and after appointments. Their anesthesiologist is also amazing. Front desk people are very pleasant as well. Also such a cheerful environment with their beautiful paintings. Some are done by the dentists mom :)

My 7 year old daughter says the the cool parts are the treehouse to play in when she gets there, watching TV on the ceiling while the people mess around in her mouth, and the tokens for the prize vending machines she gets at the end.

My three year-old went to the dentist for a check up and i was told he would need seven crowns as alarming as this is I decided to get a second opinion and I’m so glad I did from the moment I called tree house kids dentist they were understanding and so kind. My little guy only ended up needing fillings. I would recommend this dental office over and over again!!! Thank you for putting the care of the kidos above making a dollar.

We will absolutely not be going anywhere else. If you want to be treated like family and actually cared for other than just being another patient number, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Worth way more than five stars. These guys all deserve raises.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dental office for your littles. Such a welcoming calming environment. The waiting room has a play structure and when you are welcomed back with the calm and kind assistants there are TVs on the ceiling to help distract the kids. The dentist is so patient and great with all kids. My 3yr old had work done where he was sedated and the anesthesiologist team in office was amazing. I was worried it was going to be a fight but my son felt safe and comfortable to go with them without a fight.

So glad we found a dentist that knows what she’s doing, takes into consideration each of your children and makes their dentist visit experience a delightful one. Experiencia fantástica: Literally the most welcoming, honest, and caring dental office I have ever been to! Knowledgeable, considerate, and again just whole heartedly caring. Every single person in the office is amazing. All 5 of my kiddos never once complain that they have to go to the dentist now which says a lot . Thank you from the Baker family!!

Experiencia fantástica: Cannot say enough positive about our experiences. All the staff use excellent strategies for helping children understand procedures at appropriate developmental level, decrease anxiety and prevent avoidant behavior due to fear. The technology is top notch and the staff all seem happy and are not rushed like other places. They are efficient but slow down when needed. The atmosphere is super kid friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: We absolutely love the Tree House Dentist! It’s an hour and a half drive for us and so worth it. Such friendly staff and a great dentist! The office is the cutest cleanest dentist office we have ever been to. Both our 8 and 9 year old sons love going there. We highly recommend the Treehouse dentist!

Experiencia positiva: Not sure if it was an off day for the dentist but it wasn’t the best experience. Kind of felt judged and wasn’t offered but one option to fix my daughter’s 2 cavities, one of them a filling that had fallen out. It would stain and make her teeth grey. I asked a couple of questions. She looked annoyed and judgmental. Otherwise better hygiene and see if it heals itself? The dental hygienist was great however.

Experiencia negativa: Daughter was seen twice, they canceled one. Then after a yr, I was like okay let's do this cap on a back molar or I stated we should remove instead.. she just turned 5. Was told a month prior cause that's how long they scheduled it out for, that it will be no later than 8am to start. A week before get a message stating start time would be at 10:20am.. She's not suposesed to eat or drink prior.. So I call, get a run around about how it's not actually scheduled at that time but just a reminder for that day. Tuesday get a txt stating again 10:20 check in. So I call, the apt scheduled for Friday.. They tell me youngest goes first to oldest her check in is actually 9:30am. So I ask how am I gonna keep her from eating for 3+ hours. They tell me to keep her up later to 'Hopefully let her sleep' so I canceled it all. Say we can try for another friday. Today I get a letter stating my daughter is not welcome back cause I canceled a 'Surgery' three days prior. Poor practice. I even changed my dental insurance just for her to be seen here. Now more phone calls & paperwork for me to change plans & dentists.

The office had multiple play areas that she loved and they were so gentle and kind! Would recommend them over and over again! Love Dr. Erin. She was a ray of sunshine! Can’t wait to go back ☺️

As a mom with horrible mom guilt/shame Tree house dentist never made me feel inadequate as a mom as some other offices have. Experiencia fantástica: My toddler absolutely loves Dr. E and her office space! Their facilities are immaculate, welcoming, and really designed to cater to the little ones. The entire staff has always been timely and responsive to all of our questions, concerns, and inquiries. Dr. E herself is amazing with kiddos. She has a lovely personality, and treats our daughter with the upmost care and affection. She truly gives each patient her undivided attention and always provides quality resources to parents for helping maintain the dental hygiene of their kids. We couldn't recommend Treehouse Kids Dentist enough!

Experiencia negativa: I’m very sorry to have this report ... I’m still n shock because our first impression/ appt .went well and I think I even left a warning review . (Although honestly I was takin back for a min when anesthesia was used for minor work , but I figured maybe it was better) . My daughter has anxiety about the dentist that suddenly appeared a year or two ago and I have no idea why . It’s frustrating for me and I sometimes feel I’m not patient enough with her . Today we had a apt for a cleaning . I spent the entire drive up to get her ready and we even played a game having her explain to me all that happens when You get a cleaning and I played patient .. when they called her to come sit n the chair my daughter asked if she had to go under and the assistant seemed confused about what she was talking about and like she was in a hurry . When my daughter sat in the seat and put the glasses on I could tell the anxious was kicking in . My daughter didn’t wanna set the seat back and was starting to get scared . I apologize to the assistant after reminders to my daughter about our dentist game . I told the assistant that she has very bad anxiety. The assistant said something but I didn’t hear and when she repeated herself she said “ no I think it’s a behavioral problem”. Well after my daughter hears that she then started acting out but hardly. The assistant clearly had no patients at all for a scared kid . So I asked her to plz step away and maybe hat the doc so we can finish apt up . When the dentist come she was also in a hurry and sadly to say I felt like just a number . And a problem one at that . The dentist took it upon herself to tell my daughter she wasn’t gonna deals with her bad behavior,, looked her straight into her eye. Said will have to not continue with apt ( obvious after the assistant pretty much called her a brat ) . My daughter started to cry and ask to continue the apt and she refused. I asked the dentist if anything we can take prior to apt to help and she stated that what they did have took all day and they don’t deal with that .. so basically I gather going under is her choice of dealing with little patients who are scared . Other things ( that seemed inappropriate and unprofessional were said) were said , I’m still n shock and trying to remember every detail . The entire interaction only lasted probably about 10-15 min . We didn’t even get the head rest down . First sign of anxiety they didn’t try to sooth her at all!!!!!!! It was completely opposite of warming and caring .. I’m at no words . I’m usually the one who is not patient enough with my daughter about her anxiety. But NEVER till now have I had a professional show zero compassion for a ten year old with severe anxiety. I even mentioned to the doctor as I left that she would be grounded for her anxiety when she got home cause that’s exactly how it felt !! Like I should probably punish my daughter for being scared . Do you punish a child who is scared of the dentist?? ? Well that’s exactly how this felt . My daughter cried all the way home and apologized for being scared all the time . She asked me if she was a bad kid and asked if the dentist didn’t like her . Of course I explained it best I could . I’m so dang disappointed. I don’t wanna leave a bad review. I really wanted to just feel good about a person who chose to become a dentist because they lived children and would treat them with compassion . Maybe the work is just tooooo crazy anymore and even the dentist are overwhelmed... idk what to do . I’m feeling just down n out now because it’s so hard to be the parent but the professionalism is just out the door these days . I hope nobody has to feel the way myself or my daughter felt today !!!!!! Idk about myself but kids look up to these professionals and it hurts when they hurt tiny feelings . Boundaries have been crossed today that should not hav even . A child with anxiety is not a child with a behavioral problem!!!! I hope any parent that finds themselves in this situation stands up for the child!!!! Anxiety is a real feeling !!!!!!!!!!!
