Earlier this week, I had the problematic filling addressed and the difference in care between my old provider and this one was astounding. They saw to my comfort every step of the way, explained what was happening so I knew what to expect, and provided a stellar outcome. Not only was the experience excellent, but my problematic tooth is completely addressed. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: The dental tech, Addie, was very professional and took such care to clean and sanitize everything. She was very mindful while cleaning the equipment. The dentist was kind and gentle with the fillings. I was out of the office in an hour. Two fillings with bonding to the front. My smile is restored! From being self conscious about the stains on the old bonds in the front teeth, and the signs of visible wearing down, showing where the bond and the teeth meet. It looks like my original smile! Experiencia positiva: The dental hygenist did a great job and there are no issues there. There was an entry on my treatment plan for "fluoride varnish" -- something that had not been done (to my knowledge) and I definitely did not authorize. The dentist came in to review my radiographs and reported a small cavity in one tooth. He immediately started with a sales pitch for a "remineralization" product. After some questioning, he finally admitted that this product contains fluoride. When I informed him that I do not want any fluoride in any form or application, he started doing a sales pitch on how "natural" fluoride is. I told him that arsenic is natural too, but I am not putting that in my mouth. After being pressed about an alternative product, he finally came up with a fluoride-free treatment. To me this is a sign of a bad dentist who is not keeping up with new research and techniques. The whole fluoride-based dentistry bit is a bamboozle from the 1940s. I am searching for a fluoride-free practice and will not be returning to this provider.

The dentist chose a different technique than had been planned for, yielding a higher price, but the benefits, as explained to me, made it worthwhile. The procedure was quick and painless.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very nice. I first went to the wrong location and was nearly 15 minutes late. They saw me anyway and even joked about my taking a tour of the Gentle Dental sites. In spite of being st the "dentist" I had a good time for my first exam, and xrays. I was even able to get a cleaning after! Definitely recommend this Gentle Dental!!!

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely awful. They screwed up my billing so bad. It took over 8 months to figure out. I had to reach out to facilitate nearly all communication. Even after the billing was finally resolved, they didn't tell me. I had to contact them to find out and all I got from the practice manager was a three word response with a screen shot. I do not recommend under any circumstances. Don't bother with their Orthodontist either. Far to many red flags.

It looked like a sea creature tooth before and after was better then a new tooth. Really impressed. Also used a pillow for the first time to help my trick jaw from locking. Made the experience much better and I hope to only have him ever work on my teeth in the future.

I was treated with such grace and compassion, I was heard and treated so respectfully, peter bergeson AND his assistant were above and beyond in my care , NO PAIN!!! My bottom teeth are difficult to get numb, he heard me , cared, and made sure I was absolutely numb, did it in steps to ease my anxiety and assure I would feel no pain! This is also the first time EVER!!! I didn't experience great pain with the needle to numb me!!!NO PAIN!! SO GRATEFUL !!!I no longer fear the dentist now. Well for sure any dentist from gentle dental facilities thank you and bless you all

Patients readily understand the procedure, the process, and the cost. The only drawback is that because of their popularity, it can be hard to get an appointment. Highly recommended.

Experiencia negativa: I just called to schedule an appointment for my kiddo using my dental insurance through my work. Was asked if he had any other insurance, which he has supplemental medicaid. After a brief hold I was informed that he could not be scheduled because they don't take medicaid. I said, that is fine, we can just use his in-network primary insurance and I will pay the copays. She said that they don't do that and she can refer me somewhere that takes medicaid. I told her that I have seen plenty of providers using just my primary insurance, so it is possible. She informed me that it was "against the rules here". So, they discriminate against people on medicaid and won't even schedule them using their in-network primary insurance. Is this even legal? I'll be finding out.

Also, I needed a toothpaste with fluoride and no SLS so I Found the toothpaste at Fred Myers, it’s Bert‘s bees it is a whitening toothpaste, it has fluoride and no SLS and it has a good price so that’s what I got

Experiencia negativa: It’s a 0/5. Let me preface this by saying I’ve always taken care of my teeth and have had routine dental cleanings all my life without a single issue. Michelle, the dental hygienist, was abhorrent in her conduct—aggressive, careless, and completely unprofessional. She skipped my X-rays, numbed my entire mouth unnecessarily, and used extreme force throughout the cleaning. The result was a severe laceration to my gums, leaving a GAPING hole between my two front teeth. I was (and am) horrified and sought a second opinion, which confirmed the injury. After three decades of perfect dental health, I’m now dealing with constant discomfort and painful sensitivity caused by her reckless work.

He extracted the remains of a broken molar from my jaw and 6 hours later I had no pain, and none since, and only had to take the pain pills that he prescribed one time. Has been my dentist for 15 years and could not be more satisfied with his care.

He explained what to expect afterwards as far as when the numbness would wear off, when I could eat etc.,He was spot on. I would highly recommend Dr. B if you are in need of dental work. Also the two girls that do the scheduling are awesome as well. Very helpful!

Experiencia fantástica: Not only is the six month cleaning a good experience, their emergency process is a good one. I broke a tooth and needed immediate attention. I had to wait almost two hours, but they fit me in. Got X-ray, assessment, AND treatment, and was out of the chair within an hour. I knew what the cost estimate was (and it came in under) before treatment so informed and prepared. The office staff is friendly, compassionate, and helpful. I’m so thankful this practice takes Medicare and I can continue to go there.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve enjoyed the dental team here but the long waits for appointments and the poor receptionist staff make it a dismal choice. Front desk doesn’t answer calls 2/3 of the time and I seldom receive responses to the messages I leave on their VM. They cancelled and rescheduled my daughter’s cleaning multiple times. The last reschedule wasn’t ever put on the books. I had to call to find that out. We are leaving this place.

And when I call back, and push the wrong button and reach customer service centre, I find out that they don't even take my insurance anymore.they don't take OHP at all anymore! so I'm waiting six months to get things fixed, cavities that hurt, and they don't even bother to call me and tell me that I need to go get an appointment and wait months at a different dentist because they are no longer taking the insurance they used to take when I made the appointment! and what have would happened had I not push the wrong button and got customer service? What would've happened if I had picked up the phone call I missed this morning and rescheduled with the gal who was calling to tell me they needed to reschedule? would she have rescheduled with me without mentioning that they're not taking my insurance anymore? Would I have waited another six months for a new appointment? Or what if they wouldn't have had the doctor out today and needed to reschedule? Would I have waited six months and gone in there today only to find out they no longer take my insurance? These people do not care about patients, and I'm sure it reflects on how they treat patients Also, without permission they texted me at 6:30 am this place is unprofessional and incompetent

Was referred out to general dental in Springfield and they never followed through or up. I have difficulty with the Springfield branch therefore I'm not happy about having to transfer there permanently.

X-rays are usually a problem for me because my mouth is small, but they were careful and also have great equipment so the X-rays went smoothly with no problem at all.
