Experiencia fantástica: Extremely welcoming atmosphere. Probably the best dental office I’ve visited - from reception to hygienists, everyone takes the time to greet you, ask questions, and explain their process. I’m currently using Invisalign and they’ve done a great job keeping me on track with reminders for tray changes and progress. Cleanings have been pleasant and my hygienist has been great about letting me know where I am with my oral health and what to work on. Smile Center offers payment plans (as my dental insurance isn’t the greatest) and works with you in terms of options. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new office, or returning to the dentist after an extended absence.

Experiencia positiva: The reason why i'm giving this 3 stars is I had to pay a 150 for x-rays? Thinking that would be included with the in-house plan that they offer? I had talked to someone on the phone about the inns. House plan, thinking the period in deep cleaning were all together with that plan. When after I got the exam was told it was not it only covers part of it in which I cannot afford and pretty much wasted a $150.. But I can say the dentist and the hygienist The people there are very nice and thorough. I just wish the in house plans was better explained to me before I took x-rays. In response to the info you sent me on services and in house plan explained to me, it was not explained to me in office before the exam only by phone days before my appointment and it was not clear, she left out the some major details which those details explained to me after I paid $150 made to cost i was quoted significantly higher. Again a waste of $150. I went to a more affordable facility which didn't require high xray fee and better "explained" plans. Very disappointed

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience here. I had to come in for an emergency exam. I had called three other Dentist offices near me and each one was rude and dismissive. I called here and Lonnie answered and was so kind, compassionate and genuinely seemed like she cared and wanted to help me. She even took about 15 minutes to sit on hold with another office to schedule an appointment for me. Every other person that I came into contact with were very nice and wanted me to be comfortable and at ease. I definitely recommend if you are like me and have strong anxiety surrounding the dentist.

I was nervous coming in for my consultation for Invisalign and all of the staff was very warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Susie was wonderful and had very good bedside manner. She explained everything she was doing and kept checking to make sure I was ok throughout the entire process. The Orthodontist was really knowledgeable and thorough and did a great job explaining everything. There’s nothing bad I could say! I highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: My family and I have been going to this office for close to 15 years. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. John he is wonderful, however, I recently went in for a simple tooth extraction which I was charged for upfront before the procedure they determined during the procedure that it was not as extensive as they might have thought and realized that they had overcharged me. They then told me they would refund me the large amount I expected this amount to be refunded to my card within 7 to 10 business days like normal refunds when that didn’t happen I called and asked and they told me their billing department would take 4 to 6 weeks to refund me which is an outrageous timeframe on its own. It has now been three months. And I have contacted them multiple times regarding this refund. About two weeks ago the office manager told me that he had contacted the billing department and it was being mailed out that week. I hadn’t received it yet so I called in today just to be told that it has still not even been mailed out yet. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this business and after speaking with my family, we have decided that none of us will be returning to the Smile Center and taking our business elsewhere

Both dentist are excellent as well as the people that clean teeth.They take their time to explain everything and answer all questions. I have been going there for over ten years and I have brought a number of new patients to their practice. Everyone says they are very happy with the Smile Center. One relative drives 55 minutes each way because she and her husband are happy with the service Smile Center provides. If you are looking for this type of service then I highly recommend the Smile Center of Orlando.

Experiencia negativa: My 81 year old mother was traveling back to Orlando from Chicago this past Sunday. While at the airport, she fell on her face and broke one tooth completely out and cracked the next one to it. Her lip was bloodied and swollen. She called me and told me what had happened. She was upset & traumatized by this. Since she had a flight to catch , I told her I would call Dr Altamares office and see if we could get an emergency visit. I thought that I would hear something by the time she landed in Orlando. I called , texted , sent an email to their “emergency contact “. I heard absolutely nothing until 8:30 Monday morning and then all I got was lip service and excuses. I was able to get her into another dentist who got her very well taken care of! My mom has been a patient of Dr Altamare for 30+ years!! She won’t go back now. Very Disappointing!
