Great Road Dental Associates PC - Kinan Kanbar, D.M.D

Experiencia positiva: My visit to Great Road Dental was a great experience. The cleaning was quick, easy, and comfortable. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. They also provided me with a clear plan for my dental care moving forward. I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Great Road Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit to my new dental practice and my new dentist, Dr. Kanbar. It was smooth and painless! Vicky worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover the cleaning and guided me through the process of transferring my previous dentist's XRay records to them. Rosa, my hygienist was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing, which made the entire cleaning stress free. Dr. Kanbar gave me some valuable advice on getting an implant done, and I was really happy to know he will do it and I don't need to go anywhere else. Highly recommend Great Road Dental!

Experiencia fantástica: Rosa and Vickie are wonderful! Terrific service, very friendly, and most importantly, great dental care!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very good experience with Dr. Gopal & the hygientist at my teeth cleaning appointment. It's a relief to go to their office compared to past experiences with other dentists. Everyone is professional yet very friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Truly the best experience with a dentist I have ever had. The team is kind, and assist me in every aspect of my care.

Experiencia fantástica: So, I honestly do not like the dentist BUT that being said, my dental hygienist Rosa in particular always does an amazing job with my dental cleaning because she is very thorough and very honest with me on the things I need to do, not always fun to hear but I need to hear it! And Dr. Kanbar is also very thorough and efficient when it comes to my dental needs. What I also love is how I am treated from the minute I walk in and get greeting by Vicky and the receptionists to the moment I leave ♥ thank you all for making something so (not very pleasant) be a pleasant experience !!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I both went to Dr.Kanbar With the hope of getting quality dentures. Not only was his staff, exceptional, prepared and knowledgeable about quotes from our insurance and how much everything really costs. Dr. Kanbar took the time and was very honest about what would work and what we should do. Getting dentures, especially two separate pairs at one time is an expense to say the least - Dr. Kanbar was able to work with us and manage to put together a reasonable option.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my third visit to Great Road Dental. I'm someone who is apprehensive about dental work, and each time Dr K, Vicky and their team set me at ease and provided excellent care. I can honestly say they care about my health - not just one tooth, but the entire mouth - and make a strong effort to come up with a concrete plan to keep everything in tip-top shape. It's straight talk with a heart, and they do an efficient, excellent job when it's time for repairs. Very thankful to have found Great Road, and recommend them for your teeth. What a relief!

Experiencia fantástica: As a skittish dental patient, I was eager to have a wonderful introduction to Great Road Dental, with the most thorough yet gentle cleaning by Rosa, invaluable advice from Vicky, and an edifying consultation with Dr. Kanbar about future treatment options. I began the process of acquiring two implants this Fall [2025]. Though I was nervous as a cat, I'm relieved and gratified that it was infinitely easier than I'd feared, not at all painful, and the recovery was miraculously swift. Dr Kanbar is thoroughly modern, using software (rather than impressions) to custom-tailor the implant design. update: July 2026 After healing completely, I had my two implants "installed" yesterday. As promised, the procedure was absolutely painless and took ~10 minutes, including an X-ray. I must add that in the interim, I had a dreadful toothache [unrelated to the implants!] that necessitated a root canal. Dr Gopal diagnosed and treated me very well, too. I heartily recommend Great Road Dental, especially to wary patients!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent app't. once again - staff is knowledgeable, pleasant, and thorough.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to schedule an emergency appointment to get my bridge, which had fallen out, put back in place. Vicky got me in the same afternoon. Great team at 296 Great Rd. In Acton, MA!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Back for my regular cleaning - usual excellent experience. The office is close to home and parking is never an issue. Never need to wait for the appointment and always enjoy talking about the technical aspects with the Hygienist such as new equipment and procedures, et al. Painless and pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience, it was good to hear no problems but beyond that they were kind, they listened and they charge a fair price. What more could you ask for?

Experiencia fantástica: Now getting ready for my dental implant, after successful bone graft surgery last year. Just like my previos experience with Dr. Kanbar... it was great ! He took the time to consult with me after taking my imaging was complete, and devoted the time to explain all I needed to know, and made me feel confident that all was going to be well. He is always pleasant and is always professional. I feel comfortable with Dr. Kanbar, because of his clear expertise, and I recommend him highly! I am looking forward to the next phase of my journey to excellent dental health. Thank you Dr. Kanbar.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional & Friendly. Doctors, hygienist, staff all great. Everything you want in a practice

Experiencia positiva: Friday, July 1, 2022 I had a Hygienist appointment with Linda and think she was again, very thorough and professional as usual. On these appointments I usually also am seen for a short review by Dr. Kanbar, but he wasn’t there on this occasion. I would highly recommend both professionals. Friday, March 27, 2026 I had a Hygienist appointment with Ross. My first time with her and she was very thorough, pleasant and professional. I switched my appointments from Wednesdays to Fridays so I could be seen by Dr. Kanbar, my Dentist. Vickey, the Receptionist, is still there doing a great job, but is now working to replace herself so she can retire.

Experiencia fantástica: Very thorough cleaning and check-up. Happy 40+ year patient of Great Road Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, clean environment and personalized care. The doctor came in shortly after my cleaning for exam! He discussed my dental health, answered all my questions and provided helpful advice without being pushy. I felt my dental health was prioritized. Amazing experience!! If you are looking for a dentist, this office is defiant the right place.

Experiencia fantástica: I love how they are and wok. I loved the service; the hygienist was super friendly. A professional who explained everything step by step and was very detail-oriented.

Experiencia fantástica: Doc Keenan super caring dentist honest and most important so kind and super clean I recommend him all the way for any dentistry work and implants

Experiencia fantástica: to reach for bigger explanations as politician type people say are big ideas, in health or situations when u have to trust others for health, i think it is just mainly what is the matter is the truth is just some people disagree, like a Baker supporter may disagree w. trump but just say its all big ideas -- so if you disagree on how things counted, it is good knowing most others prepared for you, since maybe you went off the gate not having noted enuf, but then the success is not what you tried, but what you made not make sense -- that become the dream the goal, so like i'm proud american who has made a lot of things not make sense, but ethically, where is the make sense i ask -- ok the make sense is right there that some people don't judge other people ask you to help them for help and i'd say your honor please help me with this mental -- they say working with or upon a mental case is challenging - thank u very mucho

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly, the office was clean and welcoming, and Dr. Kanbar was very nice! They explained everything clearly and made me feel completely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Friendly, kind, knowledgeable staff. Appointment started right on time, and check out was a breeze.

Experiencia fantástica: Third time seeing Rosa at Great Road Dental for my six-month cleaning. She does great work - and thorough - while at the same time being gentle. She is a pleasure to be around and talk to - finding a way to make a dentist appointment actually enjoyable! All the while, she also offers encouragement and great advice about how to care for my teeth. Highly recommend her and her work!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Khandar & his staff were professional, friendly, & competent. The dental practice is patient centric!

Experiencia fantástica: Everything went just fine. Cleaning was great! Thumbs up.... See you in October

Experiencia fantástica: The office folks are wonderful to work with and Rosa does a great and efficient job cleaning my teeth and doing the x-rays. Both Rosa and Dr. Kanbar know I have hearing issues and they spoke loud and clear enough for me to hear without reminding them each visit. They also believe if ain't broke...don't fix something that's not there. We had issues with another dentist location pushing unnecessary procedures on us. Not here. Great place to use.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything was great. (As for the past 20+ years)

Experiencia fantástica: Caring and knowledgeable. I will be back.

Experiencia fantástica: Rosa is my new hygienist and very pleased with her thoroughness. Always on time and a pleasant experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my first visit to Great Road Dental and found them to be professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The front desk administrator was very helpful with information about cost, insurance, and scheduling. Dr. Gopal and Suvani were friendly and efficient. I hadn't been to the dentist for some time, and I appreciated that they were pragmatic but not shaming! Sending my husband to them soon too.

Experiencia negativa: Worst hospitality, very cold responses and disrespectful. They are cancelling appointment without proper notice, very irresponsive. Found out after going to the centre.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional and made my visit way better than I anticipated!! Front staff very personable and knowledgeable. From beginning to end it was a wonderful visit despite having fears of the dentist in the past.

Experiencia fantástica: My visit with my hygienist Rosa was great, she was very personable and very professional. Paul Anderson

Experiencia fantástica: I just had an exam and cleaning with Dr. Gopal and had a great experience. She was on time, kind and very knowledgeable. The front desk staff and her assistant were great as well. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience. The kids were happy.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Great Road Dental Associates for over four years now. I have never needed anything beyond a cleaning every six months because their cleaning is the best! I just love it when I see that Rosa will be the one doing my cleaning. She is SO good. She is professional and knowledgeable, and, on top of that, she is the sweetest. I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: cheerful, kind, efficient, and sparkling clean practice.

Experiencia fantástica: The folks here are kind and patient! They dealt with my anxiety well and believed me when I told them I needed more numbing mid procedure (huge huge green flag). Would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great cleaning experience here! Rosa the hygienist was wonderful and thorough especially.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Always so professional and amazing doctors and staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Great Road dental staff goes above and beyond accommodating to make me comfortable during any procedure. Rosa is incredibly patient, supportive and knowledgeable. Dr Kanbar does excellent work especially with challenging patients like myself, and no one runs a better office than Vicky.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff; highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently took my elderly mother to see Dr. Kanbar for a tooth extraction procedure. I was very happy with the exceptional care and compassion shown to her by the entire team. From the initial consultation to the actual procedure, everyone was gentle, patient, and understanding of her needs. They took the time to explain everything to her (and to me!) in a clear and reassuring manner. My mom was very comfortable throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend Great Road Dental Associates to anyone, especially those with elderly or anxious family members.

Experiencia fantástica: Very kind and thorough!

Experiencia negativa: Good service, education, and professionalism: All of this was missing from the receptionist who attended to me, Viky. I went on January 14th seeking a quote for a dental implant. However, my biggest limitation was not speaking English. Apparently, in this place, people who don't speak English are not welcome. I approached the receptionist, greeted her, and apologized for not speaking English. I made an effort (using a phone translator) to ask if they handled my type of dental implant. I also wanted to know if my MassHealth insurance could be used in my case; if not, that was fine. But every question I asked was answered with an annoyed and disdainful tone. Later, a doctor came over to help interpret, and she was always kind to me, but the receptionist continued to be rude. She asked me to write down my details on a piece of paper, and when I asked the doctor a question, the receptionist snatched the paper out of my hands. At that moment, I realized this was not a welcoming place for me. They assigned me an appointment, but in a rude way, so I decided not to go. (Why go to a place where you are treated poorly from the start?) I wasn’t there to ask for free services or haggle over prices. My money is green too, and it’s worth just as much as anyone else's. In the end, I chose to find another dental clinic where I was treated correctly. They were kind, worked to solve my problem, and made an effort to communicate with me even though I didn’t speak the language. They found an interpreter and treated me with respect. At that clinic, I paid $2,400 for my new crown, and I gladly paid it! There, they truly value their patients and know how to provide proper care. Lastly, I want to leave a message for the receptionist Viky: Be more courteous! Set aside your arrogance. And if you don’t like serving the public because of their race, ethnicity, or skin color, find another job! Or better yet, put up a sign in your business saying you don’t serve people who don’t speak your language.

Experiencia fantástica: Rosa the dental hygienist was awesome!
