They first helped me with a chipped tooth several years ago and later with a root canal, and both experiences went very well. I went quite a while without keeping up with my own dental care because I was more focused on making sure my family was taken care of. When I finally came back, everyone was welcoming, professional, and never made me feel uncomfortable about the time I had been away. They’ve been great about getting me caught back up and getting everything back into good shape. The staff is friendly, the care has always been excellent, and I’ve really appreciated how they’ve treated me and my family. I also want to give Tonya some credit. She’s been fantastic to work with and has made getting back on track with my dental care a really positive experience. I would definitely recommend McDougal Dental to anyone looking for a good family dentist.

When my crown fell off on a Sunday, I was able to call Dr. McDougal and she called me back quickly to calm my worries, give guidance on caring for the tooth, and set up an appointment.

Experiencia negativa: Money hungry, I went to another dentist today for a second opinion (they were a bit dumbfounded when I told them all what this place wanted to do)- and this place just wants to do extra work that costs more money. They recommended me keeping a wisdom tooth is growing sideways for an anchor when it’s not even popped through. For reference my consultation appointment took TWO hours of my day at Mcdougal whereas my new dentist took one hour.

I’ve had quite a bit of dental work in the past and it has made really dread going to the dentist even for a cleaning. They go above and beyond to make me comfortable. They even provide heated neck pillows! They’re always positive and kind. I don’t get a lecture about what I drink or not flossing enough (even when I have been flossing daily) They have great equipment/tools and it makes the whole process much more comfortable. I originally chose McDougal dental by a google search of dentists near my home. I figured if I’m going to go to a dentist and be miserable I might as well skip the 20 minute drive and go somewhere close. I am so glad I switched!

They make every effort to help patients relax during both routine and special visits. Whatever that thing is about the dentist offices I’ve been in that makes me tense, is absent here. I wish I could be more specific than that. And they are great with our kids…I took my two daughters to an appointment for my six year old. That went so well that my four year old asked every day for the next two weeks when her appointment was. When she finally got to go, she had a great time as well.

Experiencia fantástica: This dentistry changed my view on all dentistry. Offering different innovative ways to take care of my teeth. For example- the reverse numbing shot. The worst part of getting my teeth fixed was walking around with a numb for 4 hours afterwards. They have a reversal shot for the reverse that takes it away after less than 15 minutes. The dentist was always kind and personable and my hygienist made my time enjoyable. Thank you for all the years.

Not only is she professionally competent, always pleasant, and attentive to her patients needs, but she is blessed by a well-trained support staff, each competent in his/her own right, of hygienists, assistants, and clerks, as well as outside labs.. I have always had a host of dentals problems during my 76 years on this earth, from countless cavities, broken teeth, nerve extractions, implants, caps, bridges and gum recession, all of which have necessitated multiple trips to dentists. All of which is to say I have had a hell of a lot of exposure to dentists of all kinds. And of all the dental practices I have encountered, the McDougal Dental practice is the most professional I have ever experienced. (Disclosure: my wife is the one who recommended I go to Carrie, and she obviously agrees with me; her dental needs have been every bit demanding as mine.). Dr. McDougal may retain her youthful appearance, but she packs a lot of experience into running a smooth and skilled practice. As a retired attorney who ran a midsize law firm, I was originally jealous of what she had accomplished. But now I just lay back in that dental chair with a blanket over my feet (neuropathy problems) and a heated pillow around my neck (back problems) and say, kudos to Carrie McDougal
