Not that I know what that feels like. Best of all, they are one of the only dentist that accepts Delta dental insurance. I have already made an appointment for my next . I called right at opening (7:30) on a hope and a prayer that I could be seen before Christmas for a bit of a dental emergency. Thanks to a cancellation - and their efficient, kind, & supportive team! - I was there and back home in less than 2 hours - all fixed up and ready to continue making Christmas magic. No Mom has time for emergency dental work - especially not December 22nd - but Sharp Smile Center answered the call and turned what could have been a small disaster into a quick, painless blip in the day. I'm so so grateful. They have always treated our family well, but this was truly above and beyond.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist overcharges and lies to you about your insurance being "in network." I started going to Sharpe three years ago. After my first visit Sharpe still "accepted" my insurance as long as I managed it. I had to pay out of pocket for everything and request a refund from my insurance provider. The reason I got for this change was "this insurance provider is too slow to repay us." So they put that on me, they patient, to deal with. When open enrollment came back around, I ended my insurance with my employer and went on my husband's for exactly this reason. I no longer wanted to wait for reimbursement and go through that annoying process. I returned to Sharpe when they moved locations and I was assured that my new insurance was "in network." And yet, nine months after my preventative care exam I would receive a bill charging my 80 dollars for my preventative care exam they told me was completely covered. When I called to ask what was going on, they never told me I was out of network and that's why I was paying for preventative care. In fact, they never gave me a straight answer at all. Instead, they said "our systems are slow to process bills and this is just what you owe." I ended up having to request my billing from them (which they delivered to me with highlighter and pen scribbles that made no sense) and send them to a "bill advocate" for audit. The audit came back that they were continuing to charge me because my insurance was out of network, which is the only way I found out. Legally, the dentist office doesn't have to tell me if I am in or out of network but, when I point blank ask them if I am in network or if they "accept my insurance" and they lie or manipulate the question to get my business, this is, in my mind, negligence, especially after I switched insurance providers because of their very particular insurance issues.

Experiencia negativa: I went through the give back a smile program that is for women that survived domestic violence, I was fortunate enough to get away from my abusive ex-husband with my kids, I have since bought a new house it’s small, but it’s ours, I have a job that I love… The only thing missing for my new life was my confidence back. Because I had to file bankruptcy due to my ex-husband’s debts I was unable to get approved for any payment plans to get help fixing my teeth, I found give back a smile , It was a lot of paperwork and I waited over a year just to be matched to a dentist , I was so excited when I found out sharp smile center was offering to help me. The dentist is very nice. He came in and gave me a whole treatment plan. But then asked me what my payment options were, I guess he forgot that he signed up to help someone from the program smile again. Once he found out, I had no money he told me not to go to the front desk and make another appointment that he would get back to me in a few weeks. I waited five weeks and finally contacted them just to find out. They were only willing to replace the partial. I already have trouble wearing. They tried to say that I needed an orthodontics just so that they couldn’t helping me. I’ve seen several Dentist. None of them said I needed orthodontics. I just needed my two teeth they were missing replaced , And the only thing that I was missing was the money. They not only wasted my only chance to get help that I so desperately needed, But I drove four hours just for the Dentist to not know that I was there from that program. I’m a single mom with six kids, trying to create a new life for herself and I don’t think they realize how much this would’ve meant to me. It was just helping one person Who didn’t have the money for their procedure. And since I didn’t take the offer for the new partial, I will not be put back on the waiting list to see another dentist that could’ve helped me. A year and a half of waiting wasted . I bet This Dentist goes home to his big nice house and wants for nothing. He couldn’t help one person that really needed it , one person that just wanted to be able to smile in public again . They could’ve just not participated in the program if they weren’t gonna actually help someone . Other than that, it’s a beautiful office and the staff is nice. But I hope they don’t go home at night calling their selves good people. Because they had an opportunity to do a good thing that would’ve changed someone’s life, and now they just ruined my only chance of getting any help. This has literally broke my heart , If That’s the kind of people you want to give your business too the Kind of people that kick people when they’re already down . Then you’ll like this place. All I know is God seen what happened And he gives and takes away.

They will charge you hundreds ($480.00 for a family) for a routine cleaning with insurance and state that they have no idea how much you will be charged until you are billed. WATCH OUT!!!

Dr. C. and the Sharp’s S.C. have consistently provided me with superior service and treatments. They even helped me build trust again in the dental profession providers. Additionally, they offer an array of advanced dental care, state of the art technology and instruments, that allow them to cater to any patients in the community. I have been truly impressed by Dr. Sharp’s exceptional focus on the comfort of his patients and presentation of his practice. He takes customer satisfaction to the next level. The staff overall has consistently been professional and customer service oriented. Experiencia fantástica: Sharp Smile Center is a huge life saver. A filling in one of my molar teeth had fallen out over the weekend. This happened just after Christmas and New Year's and I had been struggling to get into anywhere due to doctors being out of town or being too busy after the holiday vacations. Called Sharp Smile Center explained that I was having issues getting into any dentist including the emergency appointments at family health center. They got me in the same day I called and filled my tooth in. I don't have insurance so I expected the price to be high and was pleasantly surprised that it was not as high as I expected it to be. Not only did they fix my exposed nerve and broken tooth but they saved my vacation to Texas in a week. 10/10 Doctor was amazing and they did a wonderful job. Definitely way worth the visit!

I expected today to be no different, but Dr. Aoua Coulibaly surprised me. She's very nice, communicates well, and is very gentle. The numbing shots barely pinched and I only felt the last one a little bit. She was relaxed and focused, communicating each step of the way what she was doing. Other dentists have made it feel like they hijacked my mouth for filings, but I felt present and at ease with Dr. Aoua Coulibaly. In the past, I've felt alot of jaw pain after dental procedures, but Dr. Aoua Coulibaly didn't push hard on my mouth/jaw or manhandle me, but skillfully did her work using her expertise and tools, not her brute strength. I 100% recommend Dr. Aoua Coulibaly! Oh! And she also has seen my 4 year old for dental cleanings and is very personable and put him at ease as well!

Experiencia fantástica: I was devastated when my dentist recently passed away and a new Dr and staff took over. I’ve always been terrified of the dentist and I had no idea how everything was going to go moving forward. I’d seen many great reviews so I was comforted by that. I had a cleaning and also an emergency tooth extraction so I was totally not mentally prepared and was a nervous wreck! Let me just say I had such a great experience!! The staff that I had interaction with was so kind and gentle and they knew that I was nervous. Frankie did my cleaning and she was the sweetest thing! Dr C and Monique did the tooth extraction. A tooth extraction is never fun but the experience I had was great! Monique knew I was nervous so she would gently rub my arm when I needed it. It may sound like a small thing but it was very comforting and very much appreciated. She was just very kind and gentle. Dr. C was also very kind and attentive and always making sure I was ok through the whole process. I’d dealt with Lisa up front a few times and let me tell you….I LOVE her!! She’s so easy to talk to. She’s very friendly and extremely helpful. I had a claims issue from the previous office that she totally took care of and got resolved and she didn’t have to do that. She worked on that for months for me. After my tooth extraction I sat and chatted with her for a few minutes and I knew I made the right decision on staying there. Lisa was the very first person I had interaction with from the new office and she’s a huge part of why I decided to stay there. I definitely made a new friend. All of their gentleness and kindness has made the world of difference to someone like me that has always been afraid to go to the dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Met DrSharp before he purchased DrEllard's (rip) practice. Unfortunately, his style did not match my dental needs. Over the last 3 months it's been HELL trying to get assess to my dental records for my because I will not be a patient of Sharp Smiles - when calling stating I will pay - his front desk person Lisa is rude and states that they OWN the clinical notes of my dental records and do not have to provide - HIPPA says different. She was rude each time stating that they don't have time to locate and that DrEllards patient records are on a different software that they are unable to pull up. It's been a terrible experience BUT it confirms why it was best not to remain a patient

Experiencia negativa: Absolute thiefs! Sharp Smile Center recently bought out Scott Ellard Dentistry what a nightmare! We had a certain amount of money set aside and appointments set up to cover the exact amount for everything needed to be done with Scott Ellard. Once Sharp Smile center took over they did not honor this agreement we had with Scott Ellard. They set up a new appointment for us that costed $1100 and now they are telling us its going to be upwards of $5500 to finish it! The original plan with Scott Ellard costed around $8600 and now its going to cost over $10,000! Also they are horribly disorganized it took them a week to give us this quote of $5500! Do not spend your money here!

Experiencia negativa: I can't express enough my disappointment. I've been a patient of Scott Ellard for years and I love his service but due to unforeseen circumstances he had to retire. I was very optimistic about having a new dentist handed down to Dr. Sharp but I was disappointed with the service and the staff members. I can’t help but compare the two emerging clinics. It’s such a contrast from the hospitable, friendly clinic of Dr. Scott Ellard to Dr. Sharp's staff. They were so disorganized, I didn't feel welcomed, and they were so dismissive and unprofessional. I was there for treatment but ended up getting a consultation with the SERVICE I DID NOT EVEN REQUEST. I was so confused the whole time until I asked what was going on. It’s ridiculous how I wasted my time off from work for a 45-minute wait for the consultation that did not even take but 15 minutes for the actual consultation “the service I did not request”.

Experiencia negativa: Just realized at midnight on a Wednesday that this place is the reason I hate going to the dentist so much lol. When I was little my mom took me here and the doctor told me that no boys will ever like me or think I'm pretty bc I have an over bite, however my parents couldn't afford braces so I could never get it fixed. Totally grew up thinking I was hideous because of my over bite lol. Don't think she works here any more but it's taken me 20 years to overcome this insecurity. Thanks sharp smile center! If my teeth rot out of my head bc I'm scared to go to the dentist I'm blaming you lmao

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Sharp and his assistant Jessica were very professional and calming. They graciously granted my request for antibiotics. They completed my procedure quickly and efficiently; but also in a personable and concerned manner. Post-procedure care was very detailed and explained carefully. I was VERY satisfied!

Experiencia fantástica: On my first visit unfortunately was for a bad tooth that I knew would have to be extracted. I wanted to make sure before I set up my appointment for a consultation that there would be and oral surgeon available in the future, and there was. I was correct the molar was too far gone. Dr. Perna was excellent as well as all the staff taking care of my needs. Everything was explained as well as the options that were available. If I wanted to stay in town a couple extra hours I could have the tooth removed that day. I opted to do that and was happy I did. Dr. Perna was aware that I needed extra meds to numb the area. He took his time and was very gentle. I am glad I took my sons recommendation. Thank you to Dr. Perna and the staff at Sharp Smile Center.
