Experiencia positiva: Camilla is efficient, knowledgeable and caring. My cleaning went well but I was due for full mouth Exrays which another tech had to do, I was sent to waiting room until he was ready for me, I decided to make follow up appointments while I waited and saw said tech standing to the side on his phone, I went back to waiting room, he came up the ramp and stop while he studied his phone finally I approached him and asked if he was going to call me he seemed put off. Then in the room his computer was off line and then there seemed to be a long wait, I had another appointment that I had to leave. I could not wait any longer. I felt he was very inefficient with his time and so I will have my x-rays next time.

Experiencia fantástica: The Restorative Dental Group is outstanding. It is normal for two or three people to be working at the front desk. The waiting room is spacious. The dental treatment rooms are up-to-date and all are well-equipped. The dentists and hygienists I have seen here over the last 10+ years have all been top-notch. Also, the entire dental office is kept very clean. Highest recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Sulikowski is the best. From start to finish, Dr. Sulikowski discussed how best to get there from where I was. I was skeptical of the scope of his vision at first. But his artistry and skills convinced me he is the one who could solve my dental issues. Not once did I dread my visits. I always left with good periodontal results. After 7 months, I can finally smile with confidence. Best of all, he corrected my bite and restored overall dental health. I recommend Dr. Sulikowski highly.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a peril cleaning at Restorative Dental and it was the best experience in a dental chair. MJ not only did an amazing job cleaning my teeth but he educated me on how to properly gargle BEFORE brushing, rinsing your mouth within 30 minutes of eating or drinking, how glands in your mouth are affected by medication or diet or anxiety. Every cleaning should be like this. Crazy to say but I can’t wait to go back to the dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to the Restorative Dental Group for nearly 20 years. The dentists are good. But what makes the group really stand out is my dental hygienist. Her name is Lisa Ann and she’s the best hygienist I’ve ever had in my rather long life. She’s a wonderful human being who really cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. And she keeps my teeth in great shape. She is the reason that I keep going back to the Restorative Dental Group.

Experiencia positiva: Really would have liked to offer a better review, but left their office very disappointed. This dental practice is professionally-staffed, yet still consistently failed to provide honest estimates of costs associated with procedures. RDG did not accept medicare supplemental dental insurance I carry, so I paid out-of-pocket. Therefore, I always request estimates before beginning work. But once in the chair there were always additional charges (x-rays...for a simple teeth cleaning?...or unspecified "additional work"). It would have been a much better if RDG was up front about any possible hidden costs.

For all new patients, we require recent X-rays, including a full-mouth series taken within the last five years. Both the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Board require dentists to take appropriate X-rays to ensure a complete and accurate diagnosis. X-rays help identify issues that aren’t visible during an exam, such as cavities between teeth, bone loss, abscesses, cysts, impacted teeth, and cancerous tumors, especially when there is no prior dental history in our practice.
We did not receive a complete or recent set of X-rays from your previous office before either of your first two appointments. Performing a cleaning without necessary X-rays would be clinically negligent, and we hold ourselves to the highest standard of care.
At your initial visit, you were seen by one of our specialists for urgent concern. Our specialists are out of network with all insurance, which is why you were informed the visit would not be covered and would be an out-of-pocket expense. Prior to your second appointment where you were establishing your care with our office, you could have contacted our insurance billing team to discuss coverage with your specific insurance.
We did not have the opportunity to review any of this with you, as you became upset when informed that X-rays were required and left before our team or manager could assist. We would have welcomed the chance to address your questions and help you understand your insurance and expected costs. Patients are also encouraged to contact their insurance directly for specific coverage details.

Experiencia positiva: Excellent dental practice, but room for improvement in the facility. They do not have a patient portal, there is no way to access records of previous encounters, or other self-service functions. Also, the counter at the front desk is so high, it makes it a challenge for shorter patients. And it is too crowded at the front, it is hard to hear the staff when there are four conversations going at once.

Experiencia fantástica: My spouse and I have been going to Restorative Dental Group for the past 20 years and have had nothing but good experiences there. The hygienists are excellent and Dr Fish is a first-rate dentist and has a great “bedside manner”. He has done several crowns on my teeth and he made what were undeniably unpleasant experiences at least bearable. He explained things clearly every step of the way and checked in often to see how I was doing. I don’t know the other dentists in the group but I am sure they are equally as proficient.

Experiencia fantástica: used to be good, but turnover has been huge lately, and with everybody leaving, they are backed up and can't accomodate your schedule anymore. If you have to cancel they offer you a new appointment half a year later. Not great. Update: they reached out to me and were very apologetic about what they characterized as a miscommunnication, and gave me a prompt appointment. Much appreciated

We always strive to accommodate our patients as best as possible, and our efficient waitlist system allows us to get patients in sooner whenever cancellations occur. Additionally, we regularly open extra days each month on our hygiene schedule to help accommodate those on the waitlist.
As for provider changes, while one of our team members recently reduced her schedule due to relocating, we are excited to have welcomed a new highly skilled and experienced provider to take her place and continue delivering the high level of care our patients expect and deserve.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at Restorative Dental since the eighties. Most recently, I had Dr. Sulikowski address my severe tooth wear by performing a complete restoration of my bite and smile, which involved placing crowns and veneers on all of my teeth. The process was quite intricate, spanning several months and requiring multiple interim steps. Dr. Sulikowski began by finding a solution that would effectively address my specific medical concerns while also meeting my esthetic goals. This was followed by extensive planning, tooth conditioning and preparation, the creation of interim crowns, gum surgery, and ultimately, the installation of the final veneers and crowns. Despite the complexity of the process, I was thoroughly impressed with the execution. Dr. Sulikowski patiently and clearly explained each step, actively solicited my input and acted on my concerns throughout, and completed the work flawlessly and in a timely manner with minimal discomfort. Communication was certainly one of his strengths, as he listened carefully to my questions and concerns, and followed up with me after every procedure. The final result is truly impressive, with a thoroughly natural appearance that exceeded my expectations. Dr. Sulikowski's exceptional surgical skills are complemented by his strong communication abilities, keen aesthetic sense, and superb craftsmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of dental restoration services.
