Experiencia negativa: ​I have been a loyal patient and a frequent source of referrals for Greenwood Dental for years, but the practice has changed significantly. What used to be a patient-centered office now feels like a high-volume operation where the personal touch has been replaced by a rigid, transactional culture. It is disappointing to see a place I once trusted feel more like a car dealership than a healthcare provider. ​The shift is most apparent in the front-office management. During my most recent visit, I arrived 16 minutes late—just one minute past their grace period. I was met by a receptionist who was completely dismissive of the fact that I had been told 15 minutes was acceptable, or that I had a long history with the office. Most concerning was the lack of internal consistency; her own colleague appeared to disagree with how the situation was being handled. That lack of cohesion and basic professional courtesy is a far cry from how this office used to operate. ​The clinical experience followed suit. My cleaning felt hurried and lacked the thoroughness I’ve come to expect here. Furthermore, there is a new, defensive tone regarding patient questions. When I sought clarification on the necessity of certain radiographs, the staff seemed offended rather than helpful. In any medical setting, a patient should feel comfortable asking about their treatment plan without being met with antagonism. ​It seems the practice is now prioritizing turnover and strict, bottom-line protocols over the long-term patient relationships they once valued. Between the inexperienced staff and the rushed atmosphere, I can no longer recommend Greenwood Dental to anyone looking for attentive, professional care.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a new Dental group for me. I cannot say enough about Dr. PANDRY. She is the most patient and understanding dentist. She did an awesome job making a crown for me. Looking for a new dentist look no more. 5 Star all the way, the dental assistances are awesome very knowledgeable and caring and the receptionist are friendly and Personable thank you for providing excellent care all the way around. I had a time sensitive issue, to say they went above and beyond is a huge understatement. They made sure I got the work accomplished in a timely manner and they put up with me while I was terrified and they didn’t make me feel bad whatsoever - I appreciate them so so so so much!!!! The dentist even called me the day after to make sure I was okay.

This is a high ranking top notch caring practice! You will love it!!!! Trust me Thos are the nicest people you will ever meet to help you get through your visit! The hygienist ( Kaitlyn ) is very good and kind makes you feel special and your teeth feel so clean!!! The Dentist is like a friend and family member If you like family! She is very good at taking the best care of your teeth no pain no problems! And Michelle is her assistant and what’s nice about this practice is that you don’t feel like a patient but a person who is respected and everything is tailored to your needs and comfort!!! The whole stall are amazing You will never find any were like Greenwood Dental♥️

Experiencia fantástica: Greenwood dental is extraordinary. I was experiencing some pain in my jaw line and cheek bone area. My PCP was unable to assist me or diagnose the issue. He mentioned it could be tooth related so I decided to call Greenwood dental and explain the pain I was experiencing. They were able to book me a same day appointment to have some scans done. It took my dentist 2 minutes to inform me what the issue was. She was unable to treat me due to it being medical related but pointed me in the right direction and even e-mailed me a copy of the scan to show the doctor. I was able to be treated that day and finally get some relief. I was so impressed with their knowledge and how quickly they were able to identify the issue. If your searching for a reliable dentist Greenwood Dental is the place to go.

Loved going to this place, but realized it was because I had no issues with my teeth, after yrs there, something went wrong with a cleaning, I was whisked away after saying it didn’t feel right, without being able to consult with the dentist, and after reaching out to trying to figure out what was wrong with my teeth, they told me for, I’d need to sign an indemnification waiver. Got a second opinion from a competent dentist, nothing wrong with my teeth, just a bad cleaning. Back to having no issues, with competent care.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great cleaning with Caitlin. I explained from the start that I did not want any fluoride (personal reasons). Caitlin listened and let me know that the toothpaste used to clean and polish had fluoride! (Which I refused.). She went “hunting” and found another paste with no flavor or fluoride. In addition, I needed follow up with a periodontist so I chose to hold on X-rays until we know what is required for the next steps. I also have sensitive teeth and Caitlin took extra care to be gentle during the cleaning. I appreciated Caitlin’s extra customer service to listen to my requests and also help me find a periodontist. Best part…the stains from my daily tea habit are gone!!

I came in with a toothache, and they promptly arranged an extraction within a few days and provided antibiotics to address the pain and infection. I highly recommend this practice for its professional staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Experiencia negativa: My insurance covers 3 cleanings per year and nothing else. I made an appointment to get my teeth cleaned, and the first thing they started was a whole mouth set of x-rays. I said I would only allow it if it was covered by my insurance. They gave every ambiguous response until on the fourth time I said no unless it was covered by insurance they finally said it was. Then then took a look at my teeth and told me there dentist would see me to talk about a "plan." He said I needed a deep cleaning for $1,200 and admitted that it was not covered by insurance. I told them I would think about it, and asked for the standard cleaning for which I made the appointment, and they refused to do it: deep cleaning or nothing. So I left, never to return. What a bunch of crooks.

Not only did they do a great job cleaning my teeth and putting in a crown on a tooth that broke, but they also recommended a mouth guard which they got approved through my insurance which was impressive. They aren’t even my normal dentist but covered down because the VA was overbooked. They also offer a variety of services to include teeth whitening which you can do in the office or at home. They are fast and won’t keep you waiting around. Def. check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Also after a thorough examination the Dr. was able to find something and quickly referred him to an oral surgeon. They were extremely accurate and very professional.

Experiencia positiva: This dental office is clean, new, modern technology, and easy to book appointments. In fact, they are usually very punctual for appointments. I have been a patient here for about five years and sadly, I’ve been going to see flaws with service: the staff seemed to be eager to “sell” services Villa recommendations and even borderline scare tactics. Unfortunately, I recently had an experience with a dental cleaning that caused my lingual retainer to become loose, and then the doctor acted like he could respond, but his effort led to a loose retainer within a couple of weeks. When I went back in to get a permanent crown placed, I pointed out that his previous attempt wasn’t sufficient. He then made it seem like it was my problem to deal with the retainer and told me to remove it and get a pop in overnight retainer instead. When I told him I’d already tried that, which led to the permanent retainer, he told me he could refer me to an orthodontist, and, typically they didn’t make repairs in the office. In the past, I had the permanent retainer pop off on the end and the previous Dentist at the office fixed it efficiently and the same day I had the problem (about 4 years ago) and it’s still intact. I really hate that not only did he set expectations poorly about fixing the mistake caused by his hygienist, but then he walked out of the room , leaving the subject unclear/unresolved and then told me I had to deal with it via orthodontist. In addition to this problem, my husband also has commented that the newer hygienist was rough with him, he felt like he was being handled like an animal. I’m now questioning my swap all those years ago to the local office instead of driving to Waltham for care… the administration team has been responsive in trying to come with resolutions and I hope my review can be updated in the near future.
