X-rays did not indicate this potential problem in advance. Continuous communication with Dr. Ring during short breaks in the procedure was absolutely informative and led to my understanding and confidence that the true measure of competency is adapting to the situation at hand. What it distills down to is confidence in medical expertise and advisement. I never had doubt that the outcome would be successful. It is now day two and I was right. This is to say my most positive comments about Dr. Ring and her practice involve significant understatement. My wife and I have been patients for some time, but this was the first experience with her advanced skill set and expertise.

Experiencia negativa: I went to this office to have fillings done on the right side of my mouth. I had no pain before the procedure. After the fillings, I developed significant pain and persistent sensitivity when eating and drinking. I returned twice to have the issue addressed, but instead of improving, the pain has worsened. It has now been over a month, and I am still dealing with ongoing pain and I can no longer eat on my right side. Something I did not have prior. Overall, this experience has been disappointing and concerning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office. Update: 5 months later, I’m still dealing with tooth pain and sensitivity on all the tooth she filled. I regret going here.

But, last year, I had a cracked tooth and instead of spending time discussing options, the dentist rushed me to have it pulled - and it was the most terrible experience I've had a in a dental chair (and I've had a root canal). They did not spend time discussing the procedure, the cost, or other options. Instead, I was presented one option with a tone and language suggesting it was the only option. I certainly could have done more research, but I trusted them (something I should not have done). I'd find a different dentist, if you are thinking of them (I already switched).

Experiencia negativa: I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and was prepared to be seen. During check-in, I was asked whether my insurance had changed; I answered honestly that it had. The office then attempted to verify coverage and discovered that my insurance had lapsed as of 12/31, which I was unaware of until that moment. Because this was identified at check-in, the appointment could not proceed. Despite the fact that I did not cancel and showed up as scheduled, I was informed I would be charged a $50 cancellation fee and told it could be sent to collections if not paid. The office referenced an automated appointment confirmation text sent earlier in the month asking patients to report insurance changes. At the time that message was sent, my insurance had not changed, so there was nothing to report. A lapse discovered later should not be treated as a patient-initiated cancellation. Insurance verification is typically handled prior to appointments, especially at the beginning of the year when coverage changes are common. Unfortunately, that step did not occur here, and the situation — along with the threat of collections — felt unfair and avoidable. I hope the office reviews how these situations are handled so patients aren’t penalized for administrative issues discovered on the day of service.

Dr. Ring diagnosed my problem and gave me a prescription and a referral. I felt better that same evening. Dr. Ring is the best dentist I have ever been to.

Experiencia negativa: The blonde/gray long haired receptionist at the front desk is VERY rude and condescending to the other staff. She’s obviously training the other front desk lady and is unbelievably rude and not understanding of her learning. At one point a dentist walked to the front and she was very rude to him as well. She speaks very loudly, the whole waiting room can hear how incredibly mean she is to the other staff. Not sure how the other staff can enjoy working here with how she acts towards them.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a long term patient of Dr Ring’s and had left her care following personal changes including moving into St Louis City. I tried another dentist but it wasn’t nearly the same and when I called Dr Ring’s practice they welcomed me back. It was great, had a new dental hygienist to me, and she did a great job, especially in the floss area as it always seems to get caught on my dental work. So the cleaning went great, Dr Ring did the final inspection, checked for cancer, and just like that I’m back. I highly recommend this practice and while I no longer have young kids, she took great care of all 4 of my kids before.

Experiencia negativa: Kind and considerate staff. Dr. Ring saw me the day I calledRare indeed. Grateful and very satisfied. Today was a second visit. Filthy impression process and place. No communication. What was what? What other procedures are today? No support staff. The Dentist does everything the impression assistant does his thing. No dental hygienists no assistants. Unacceptable. Who cleans one side of the mouth and then leaves the other half to chance an appointment? Very strange and below average services.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible Experience, do not sign anything with them without reading document. Front desk staff is very rude and do not care about customer service, instead of welcoming behavior they have threatening behavior. Front desk lady Gale is not supportive at all and highly unprofessional, do not deal with her!!! They performed services which were not required per insurance and charged us highly inflated prices and used codes not covered by insurance. When we requested clarification on charges they did not clarify why 2D images were needed and they charged for service multiple times. Simply say very greedy and unprofessional. Be aware and avoid this dentistry. Highly disappointed and would not recommend to anyone. Stay away!!!

Experiencia negativa: I informed them I just had dental x-rays performed in 2024 and wanted to have them sent over. They refused to provide service unless I sent them in today only, which is totally bizarre. They insisted I go against ADA guidelines for dental x-rays for healthy adults (every 24-36 months) and refused service. All for wanting to abide by ADA guidelines for healthy adults, which is to receive dental x-rays every 24-36 months. Either 1). they don't know the ADA guidelines for healthy adults, or 2). they just don't care and want to bill insurance as much as possible. My bet is on the latter. You've been warned.

Experiencia negativa: Decent place, but they will lie and mislead you about their fees and costs, They will also have you sign documents stating one price, but then charge you 2/3x more stating ambiguous wording in their documents that basically allow them to charge what ever price they want, when every they want, without providing any details as to their pricing structure. while the Dental staff is nice, Legally, what they are doing is illegal. Do not use. UPDATE: Its unfortunate that the company hides behind their staff to justify utilizing ambiguous wording, and hidden fees to charge people absurd costs that are not explained, nor detailed at all in their "Documents". as i've reread the documents, and no where does it explain, address, or notate additional costs or that they charge "Per length" of a appointment. While i understand cancellation fees, utilizing Hidden fees, not addressing or explaining fees, and then charging absurd costs while hiding behind staff is just laughable.

Experiencia negativa: Having been seeing Dr. Ring for over 20 years. Service and treatment has been significantly decreasing from from greeters at front desk(they need to be like Karen) to treatment. Sat in waiting area 1/2 hour past my start time. Cleaning was marginal and rushed. Few teeth were picked and then flossed. No paste cleaning was done. Then waited 20 minutes for Dr. Ring to quickly check and state, everything looked good. Service has never been this bad and rushed. Need to improve!! My visit in 2024 staff told me I had a balance…I asked for what. Staff said it was a Covid supply fee…hmm. Let’s get back to service we had 20 years ago.

Experiencia negativa: I think Julie Ring is an excellent dentist. However, the cleaning I received from the “hygentist” was terrible and unprofessional. On top of that my wife also went today at a different time and was told I didn’t complete the paperwork I did in fact complete because I didn’t have my glasses and couldn’t see and just didn’t feel like doing it. By the way, I don’t wear glasses. She also was told we hadn’t been there for over a year which was false. She gave the receptionist the date and suddenly it appeared on the computer screen. Her interaction with the hygentist was worse than mine. My wife was embarrassed and felt talked down to for no reason. She will no longer be a patient. I will probably go elsewhere, also.

It was my first appointment with them so a had the usual clipboard documents to fill out. I had to finish the final questions on the clipboard after my services had ended and I was walking out the door because they were so efficient with the cleaning/examination. Dr. Ring and the technician were very personable. I am very glad to have found them. Thank you!

From the time I arrived until I left, everyone made sure that I was properly examined, diagnosed, treated, and discharged.
