Experiencia negativa: My son has always had a good experience here but I called to get an appointment for him because he has some spots on his teeth that may be cavities and some other concerns like bite issues and was told they have no appointments until 7 months from now. I found somewhere else that actually has the capacity to get patients in to provide the care they need.

And the staff was very friendly and accommodating to my child being scared of her visit and the fact we were there for a chipped tooth. Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend this place to anyone! My 6 year old is autistic and has issue with brushing. He was a bit nervous, and i was as well, they made us feel comfortable and safe. When it came time for his procedure, he was not afraid at all. The nurses and dentist made him laugh and he did amazing. They listened to all I had to say. They passed no judgement. They did everything all at once so we wouldn’t have to put him under twice, they even did a cleaning while he was under. I plan on switching the rest of my kids over to them, even with the hour drive there and back, it is worth it!

We were referred from another practice today for an infected tooth, and because of a cancellation we were able to be seen the same day by Dr. Robinson. He was excellent, and explained everything very well, was personable and had great bedside manner. He made a point of discussing everything with my husband, and asking him his preferences as a parent before the procedure. Thank you so much for your quick and attentive care. Dr. Robinson, Dr. Bolt and Dr. Tom have helped my son through numerous situations from trauma on the weekends, to acute infections to cleanings and fillings. They answer all my questions and provide education in a way that I can understand it. The Doctors and all the staff have always been so kind, gentle, patient and relatable to my son. We've had nothing less than wonderful visits. We always look forward to see what fun socks, shoes and scrub caps Dr. Robinson and Dr. Bolt are wearing! Thank you for everything!

Experiencia negativa: Hadn’t had any problems really until my daughter’s appointment today. Dr bolt was extremely rude with her when she was scared and crying kept saying “stop crying” “why are you crying” “we’re not going to do this, you need to stop” not very empathetic at all. She’s SIX. The hygienist wasn’t all that great either normally you would expect people working with children to explain what they are putting over her face and the steps they are going to take to get her fixed up.like I said she’s only six She’s going to be scared and it didn’t help having a dr sitting in her face yelling at her. Makes me scared to bring her back and concerned about what she endured when she had to go under anesthesia two other times there when I wasn’t allowed to stay with her.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Biddle and the staff at West MI Pediatric Dentistry are fantastic! This was my 8 year old's first "procedure" at the dentist and it couldn't have gone any better. They were very kind and personable which put my daughter at ease, and they also explained the diagnosis and treatment proposal well. I appreciated the conservative approach to her care, the detailed instructions for follow-up care, and the smoothness of her entire treatment. The facility is neat, welcoming, and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: This dentist office is absolutely top-notch, definitely worth the hour drive for my family. I am posting this on my first visit with my daughter, and they have previously done work for her little brother. The staff here have been very kind and compassionate with both of my children, and they do their jobs very effectively and in a timely manner. They are consistent with keeping me updated and my anxiety levels as low as possible. This is 100% a fantastic place to bring kids for any dental care they need.

Experiencia fantástica: My son is 15 months - so a bit on the earlier side for needing dental care, but we decided to get him in and I had no problem scheduling! I LOVED this office. Dr. Thomas Bouwens was great with my son (even through his screaming and swinging - sorry ) and was able to help me confirm my teething suspicions and gave great advice on helping brush his teeth and what dental care should look like for him moving forward. The hygienist worked at lightning speed to get him his prize afterwards (you know because he was still yelling ) and that INSTANTLY chilled him out. The actual exam for him was only like 2 minutes - quick peak and a fluoride treatment. We were in and out in 20 minutes or less. Thank you for making such a daunting experience as good and easy as possible

Experiencia negativa: My 4 year old daughter has a lot of health issues, she sees about 7 specialists, her whole life. She is due for a bone marrow transplant and her team wants to make sure her oral health is taken care of first. As she cannot have any major work done post 1 year transplant. She has been complaining about her teeth for almost 2 weeks now. I took her in last Thursday and they told us she has multiple cavities that they’d have to put her under for. They then proceed to tell me the wait list is 3-6 months or even up to a year. I even asked them if there was someone else who can do this then, and that seemed to offend them. “we’re the best in the area”. I don’t care , my daughter can barely eat or sleep without breaking down telling me it hurts her. Her father & I took her to the ER, 2 nights ago, and they urged us to get her cavities fixed ASAP. I will be looking into other options since “the BEST” can’t do anything for her.

Our soon-to-be two year old had a little bit of an emergency and Erin, at the front desk, was absolutely wonderful as she helped us navigate what we needed to do. Our daughter was not just seen, but very well cared for, by Dr. Robinson. He is truly amazing at what he does and put our minds at ease as parents. This was her first time at a dentist and I don't think the experience will ever be able to be topped. Thank you all for your help!

Experiencia negativa: This is the only Dentists office my now 8 and 10 year old has ever been to. Until today I have had nothing but good things to say about WMPD! My 10 year old had his first ever issue with his teeth. One tooth had an infection in between the adult tooth and baby tooth. The adult tooth still had a while to come out so Dr. Bolt said the best bet would be to extract the tooth. This entire experience has made my child upset, scared and now dosnt want to come back to the dentists! I drive an hour to come to this dentists to try and set my child up to have a positive experience for life. The Dentist was extreamly impatient! Didnt explain to my child what he was doing. When the top of your mouth is getting numbed it hurts! All Bolt said was here comes a push? And my son cried and was terrified. Bolt had no empathy! Had a smerk in his face and no patience with my son! Bolt just had a attitude! Flinging his dental tool down with disgust! His assistant was no better. When they were done my son was balling! The assitant had no patience with him! Told him to bite down on the gauze. Didnt try to comfort him nothing! The whole thing was horrible! It is so unfortunate, now my son hates the dentists!

Experiencia negativa: This dental office wanted to put my daughter under and have the ability to just do whatever treatment they deemed necessary if they "found" other issues and when I made it clear that they would need to get my permission prior to doing anything other than the previously agreed upon treatment they refused treating my daughter all together. No referral to another specialist, nothing to have this needed treatment completed in a timely manner which goes against moral and ethical code. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU THOROUGHLY READ ALL PAPERWORK GIVEN TO YOU TO SIGN. YOU SIGN AWAY ALL NEGLIGENT LIABILITY AT THIS OFFICE.

My son was very nervous going in but as we were leaving he said “that was the best dentist ever” so I made my kids future cleanings here too! All the staff were very nice. Also, they have a huge fish tank and my son is very knowledgeable with aquatic life and very fascinated by it so that was a great surprise. Thank you all again!

Both of my kids were very anxious about their first visit to the dentist and their concerns quickly disappeared…and now they ask when they get to go back to the dentist! Experiencia fantástica: Another HUGE shoutout to a local business…West Michigan Pediatric Dentistry. After our young daughter’s fall off a bike on Saturday, she had two cracked teeth. Her regular dentist was just not quite understanding the severity of the situation after a visit earlier in the week and a follow up phone call from me after her tooth broke off while brushing her teeth. She was in pain and had another on the opposite side that was about to do the same thing. I called West Michigan Pediatric Dentistry in an panic and explained the situation. They got her in IMMEDIATELY and took care of everything right away. We saw Dr. Bowens who was fantastic with her!! She’s a happy camper who is finally able to chew, and we are now switching both our children to their care.

We will make the extra drive to West Michigan Pediatric Dentistry! All staff are friendly and take the necessary time with each visit. Experiencia fantástica: Promptly greeted upon arrival. Taken right back to begin daughter’s procedure. Everyone was kind & understanding to our child’s needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about this office and its staff. We were treated with nothing but kindness from the moments we entered until the times we left. My 5 year old daughter needed an extraction as well as a baby root canal. We opted for anesthesia since she would not have been been agreeable to sit still for so much work. The day of the procedure, Dr Bolt, once again was very kind and explained everything that he would do. Next the anesthesiologist, Dr. Nosek, came in to explain everything related to the anesthesia and what to expect. His knowledge and expertise were evident, which put our minds at ease. The two ladies, Dani and Erin, who helped with the procedure were stars and quickly built a great repour with our daughter. During the procedure we had a private waiting room with a tv, light snacks and water. The entire procedure from the time our daughter left us until the time we were reunited was 45 to 50 minutes. Our daughter did wonderful and since they explained everything to expect in terms of coming out of anesthesia we had no surprises. I am happy to report that our daughter exhibited very little pain afterwards and required no additional pain medication at home. We feel so blessed to have found this dentistry and it is well worth the 1 hour drive. Again I highly recommend them with the care of your child.

They don’t push kids too hard especially when they are little so they don’t develop that fear of the dentist like so many people get. Dr Tom Bouwens is one of our favorites.

Needless to say , 11 Teeth we're successfully FIXED , and Isaiah was back to himself within hours. With NO PAIN! The following morning I was expecting him to have an extremely sore mouth , but I was completely wrong. He was in absolutely no pain . Nothing but great news. I'm extremely happy I choose to get a second opinion at west Michigan pediatric dentistry! Even with 11 teeth being corrected , he had 0 pain. Great team at this office!
