While we cannot comment on individual treatment details in a public forum, restorations such as crowns require ongoing care and regular follow-up, and changes can occur years after placement. Our records indicate that there were no routine cleaning or maintenance visits for several years following placement of the crown, and the patient was seen once for an emergency visit related to trauma to that tooth. We take all patient concerns seriously and would be happy to review records and discuss this matter directly. Please contact our office if you wish to do so.
