Experiencia fantástica: I think Magic Land Pediatric Dentistry in Waterbury is honestly a genius idea for a pediatric dentist. The entire office is designed to make kids feel like they’re somewhere fun instead of at a dental appointment. When you walk in it almost feels like a mini arcade or amusement park for kids. There are arcade games like Pac-Man, other video games, bright murals everywhere, and upbeat music playing. There’s so much going on that it keeps kids distracted from the fact that they’re actually at the dentist. It can feel a little overstimulating at first because there’s a lot to look at, but for kids that’s actually part of what makes it work. Instead of being nervous, they’re busy exploring and playing. The staff were great with my daughter. They were informative, explained everything clearly, and were very down to earth. They also referred us to another office for a cavity, and the referral process was smooth — the office they sent us to was just as great and quick to get us started. As a parent, I left feeling informed, comfortable, and confident that my daughter was in good hands, which is exactly what you want when it comes to your kid’s healthcare. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for a kid-friendly pediatric dentist in the Waterbury area.

Experiencia negativa: Came for my son's 3pm Appointment today & doors are locked no one is there & no one is answering the phone I got no notice of a cancellation or anything. This would be my second cancellation from you guys. Pulled my son out of daycare early and got out of work early for this appointment just to waste my time & I'm sure whenever I am able to get a hold of you guys I will have to wait another month for my son's dentist appointment that was supposed to be in January. Completely unprofessional!

Experiencia negativa: The pediatric dentistry area is excellent, BUT THE ORTHODONTICS SERVICE IS TERRIBLE, AWFUL, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I signed a contract for orthodontic treatment (braces) for my daughter for 24 months, for $5500. Then, after 18 months, the orthodontist told me that the treatment was finished ahead of schedule and that I had to pay the remaining balance. That wasn't the problem. The day they removed her braces, they took impressions for the retainers and gave me an appointment for 12:30 to pick them up. The secretary called me at 11:54 AM saying I had to come to the office as soon as possible because everyone was leaving at 12:30. When I arrived to pick up the retainers, there was no one there to show my daughter how to put them on or to check if they fit properly or were causing any discomfort. Only the secretary was there, and she just told me to sign here to confirm I received them, and that was it. Truly a bad experience with the orthodontics department. I do not recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Magic Land is hands down the best pediatric dental office I’ve ever taken my kids to. I have four children, and all of them have been coming here for over three years now. Not once have we had a bad experience. From the moment you walk in, the aesthetic is amazing. The office is tidy, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to make both kids and parents feel comfortable. You can tell whoever created this place really knew what they were doing. Dr. Martinez is absolutely incredible. She is smart, patient, kind, and truly great with children. Every visit feels calm and reassuring, and she always takes the time to make sure everything is explained and done right. The entire staff is just as amazing, friendly, professional, and welcoming every single time. They make visits smooth and stress-free, which is priceless when you’re bringing multiple kids to the dentist. This place is a solid 10/10… honestly, 100/10. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist in Waterbury, I truly don’t think you’ll find better than Magic Land. Highly recommend..

The assistant took us to the room in a timely manner. Dr. Martinez was so friendly and gentle with our little one. The exam was a breeze and very efficient! I love that they have video games and activities in the waiting room although there was no wait! We were in and out for her appointment. A truly seamless experience.

This dental group is filled with dedicated passionate professional brilliant essential workers they are a vibrant part of the committee and have educated us every step of the way regarding the health of my daughters teeth and I am truly grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place!! Everyone is always super kind and SO good with children (parents too)! The facility is always clean beyond belief, literally immaculate (old location too)! We drive a half hour to get here and I would drive over and hour to stay with them. Trust me, if distance is an issue, it's so worth it!

Experiencia negativa: I called to confirm my appointment and they canceled my appointment because I didn’t call before two never in my life. Have I had a dental appointment be canceled because I didn’t call before a certain time. Ridiculous never once was mentioned that they were gonna cancel the appointment before a certain time. I waited almost 4 weeks for this appointment for them to cancel my appointment and I confirmed the same day they called me . I Will never recommend this place ever.!

Every staff member is always kind, helpful, and patient with him! It can be very stressful for us to bring him to the dentist/doctors office because of his sensory sensitivities, but this office always welcomes him!

Experiencia negativa: Parking situation is horrendous. Waiting room is congested and very small for the amount of people they are trying to see at a time. Reception staff is incompetent. I filled out paperwork online days in advance, once I arrive for the appointment they tell me they need additional info and without it appointment can’t proceed. Seeing as how they had all the info days ahead of time, they should have reached out prior to the appointment to let me know I needed to bring additional documents.

I am absolutely disgusted with the dental assistant Josè who was attempting to do X-rays on my child & out of fear, my four year old began crying, normal toddler reaction.. Unfortunately my son was told by the dental assistant Josè to “ shut up “ so that nobody outside the room would be frightened. I am absolutely livid by this, being that this is a pediatric dentist office you would think that each & every staff member has the patience to tolerate children! Dr. Martinez and her team were just incredible - so patient and caring when my daughter had to have two teeth pulled. Unfortunately, we had to do it in two sittings, but the team was fantastic and gave the same level of care each time. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, I'd highly recommend Magicland! Scheduled my son's appt for over a month now, and they waited until 25 mins after I arrived (which I arrives 10 mins early) to then call the insurance company regarding his appt. Never going there again. Will go to another dentist company with better organization and service.
