Experiencia fantástica: All staff is amazing every step of the way. When I took my daughter into be put under anesthesia for dental work I was full of stress and anxiety beforehand but once I arrived it was almost immediately gone because the staff explains every step and continues to communicate with you throughout the process. Dr. Rick is awesome and Britney at the front desk will go the extra mile for you to help in anyway she can.

Experiencia negativa: Be sure to check in advance of arriving that they didn't decide to drop your insurance carrier...otherwise you'll get bad news that routine services are not covered by your insurance and they'll extort you with a cancellation fee. We would have cancelled months ago had we been told they dropped our insurance(a major dental insurance provider). I see your response that you claim we were notified that Delta Dental was no longer covered, this is an outright lie.

Experiencia negativa: We have come to the point where we don’t believe the good reviews anymore. They are nice, but seem constantly overbooked and so hasty! Always in a rush and doctors hardly even look at the teeth. Both kids have had same experience. Doctor doesn’t listen and if any suspected issues they just say we’ll take care of it later. Which means…we are way to busy right now so we will wait until issue is so big we have to address it. Disappointed and wanted to warn others.

Experiencia negativa: We had a heartbreaking and upsetting experience with Dr. Best. My four-year-old went through multiple filling appointments and was terrified. When she cried, Dr. Best seemed irritated, and sedation or comfort options were never offered. She now she has severe dental anxiety. She was offered a popsicle afterward, which felt inappropriate. Several fillings are now damaged (fillings which are less than a year old) one fell out, one is cracked—and we are now redoing everything. I was told Dr.Best would call to discuss, but that never happened. I could keep going, but there aren’t enough words to capture all my complaints

She actually did a really good job and let them do everything they had to do without giving them a hard time because they were very patient and kind to her. She definitely felt comfortable and the doctor gave me a lot of good tips and reminders for me as her mother. I would highly recommend this dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently switched my grandsons to this office. Dr. Best, her office manager Brittany, and their staff were amazing. They were able to get us in very quickly and were very attentive. The care my grandson received was exceptional. They explained things to a 6 year old in a way he could understand as well as being thorough in explaining to me and to his parents. The office is clean, bright, and welcoming to children. Very happy to have my grandsons be patients here.

Experiencia fantástica: Miss Ashley and Dr Best made my son’s visit exceptional. He is decidedly “strong-willed,” and I was so nervous about how the appointment would go. Honestly I got a bit choked up when I realized I had nothing to worry about and the team here would take care of us. He even asked me when he could go back to the dentist! Experiencia fantástica: Working with Dr Best was an amazing experience. We arrived at Small Worlds Children's Dentistry after a very bad experience with another dental office. I was met with nothing but kindness from the staff and they went out of their way to care for my toddlers teeth. I was blown away by the service we received. Sara made sure that Maddox was comfortable and Im not sure he even knew he was at the dentist! I felt much less anxiety that I otherwise would because of my experience. We are lifelong patients!

Experiencia fantástica: My child has been going to Small Worlds Children's Dentistry for a few years now and I can't express how impressed we were with the experience and staff. The staff always greets us with warm smiles and a genuine kindness that put both me and my child at ease. The environment is bright and welcoming, designed specifically for kids, which helps reduce any anxiety they may have about visiting the dentist. What truly stood out was how caring and gentle the staff were throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain each step to my child in a way that was easy to understand, making the experience feel more like an adventure and they tailored it to my sons interest. My child actually looks forward to going, and even when it came time to get a cavity removed, the dental team was incredibly supportive and reassuring.

Experiencia fantástica: Julie and Dr. Rick were so understanding when my kiddo was having a hard time. They were able to talk him through everything and complete the cleaning and exam gently and calmly despite his anxiety. I am so grateful for their care!

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my daughter’s first appointment at Pewaukee Small World Dentistry as a 3 year old and it was amazing! I can’t say enough great things about our experience and how welcomed we felt. I’m a bit jealous that I can’t go there and have Ms. Julie work on my teeth! She was so great with my daughter and exceeded my expectations. Very Patient and Kind. Very thorough work. You can tell Ms. Julie genuinely likes what she does and has love for kids. At the end I believe the dentist name was Mr. Rick. He came into the room to check my daughter’s teeth and X-rays, although it was a quick interaction, he made sure to greet me and my daughter, talk with us over things and explain. He also was very patient and kind. Can’t wait to comeback in 6 months for my daughters second appointment! waiting room is nice and clean, Receptionists were kind and got the job done as well.

The front desk staff were so kind and welcoming and my daughter loved watching the fish in the lobby. The dental hygienist, Julie, was so incredibly kind and patient with our daughter, and took her time to explain everything that she was doing and made it light-hearted and fun. Dr. Best was also so nice and did a great job explaining everything. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this dentist location.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything about this facility from the time you walk through the front door to entering an exam room was completely child based and my daughter was SO comfortable and it was her first time at the facility! The staff were all very pleasant and very good with my daughter ! They made her feel comfortable, they made her laugh and helped her understand each step of what they were going to be doing! Amazing facility!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a fantastic experience with our daughter’s first dental visit. Kim was so wonderful in making sure that she felt comfortable, and even showed her how the electric toothbrush worked on each of her fingers before trying in her mouth. I had no idea what to expect with our first visit, and was pleasantly surprised with how positive things turned out! I would definitely attribute that to the time and care Kim gave us ☺️.

Let him feel the toothbrush and "polished" his thumb. This was his third time there but actually got a full dental cleaning today! So proud of him and glad that I found Small World!

I was nervous because her first appointment didn't go well as her older sister was with and has a lot fear over the dentist. Nevertheless we were solo this time and we had an amazing hygienist Kim who walked through everything with her. We were able to get her to do a full cleaning and exam! Dr. Best also was patient, kind and caring through the process. We will definitely be requesting Miss Kim and Dr. Best for the future. Thank you for your patience, kindness and a successful visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Small World squeezed my 2 year old in within a half hour of my phone call about a tooth injury after the place I had an appointment scheduled for a week canceled her appointment the day of. Their facility is neat, clean, and very child friendly. I love how each room has a fun and inviting theme! All of the staff were welcoming, kind, and very patient. We found our new pediatric dentist today!

She didn't shed one tear and did a great job. Love the play area in the waiting room and the fish tank. Different themed rooms were very cute. So glad we switched dentists.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rick Araujlo is absolutely wonderful. My kids aren't the biggest fans of the dentist, but they get excited to see Dr. Rick. He's informative, and really knows how to connect with my kids! The entire staff is helpful, and takes patient privacy very seriously. The entire staff at both the Brookfield, and the Pewaukee locations make going to the dentist an absolute joy for my family!

Experiencia fantástica: We came here Friday and needed IV sedation work for our daughter’s teeth. While we loved our previous dentist, I feel like the care received wasn’t as thourough as here. The nurses and anesthesiologist were so incredibly kind and compassionate to my daughter. Obviously as a parent these types of things are scary, but they came out and chatted with us first, and offered support after too. They were absolutely fabulous. As for Dr Rick, he did a fabulous job with my daughter’s teeth. I think he set us on a good plan and I’m optimistic we won’t have to go this route again. The receptionist was great. She talked to me while I was the only one in the waiting room. The lobby was clean, and the rooms were very fun. Thanks so much for taking such excellent care of my daughter, it feels great to know she was in safe and compassionate hands.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is 7 and has horrible anxiety with the dentist and flossing her teeth. Dr. Araujo and nurse Sue took their time with her during her exam and cleaning and explained every tool and everything they were doing to her teeth. They gave her breaks when needed and were extremely patient and positive with her the entire time. She had several cavities and a tooth that needed to be pulled, Dr. Araujo recommended using sedation during the procedure to not traumatize her even more and to build a trusting relationship with her. The coordinator Britany called to set up the procedure and was very kind and helpful. The day of the procedure Dr. Araujo and his nurse (Susan or Sue) calmly explained the procedure to my daughter and made her feel confident and comfortable before they took her back to administer sedation. She got to watch Encanto and was given little squishies to play with while the sedation worked. I was updated throughout the procedure that everything was going great. Afterwards they wheeled her out and helped comfortably get her in the car and sent us home with clear aftercare instructions. Saying I’m impressed with Dr. Araujo and his team is an understatement. They went above and beyond to help my daughter through this process and now she’s not as scared of the dentist! I really really appreciate everything they did for us!

Experiencia fantástica: I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Annie. I brought my 5 year old son to her on an emergency visit because of a severely painful capped tooth that another dentist had done. The dentist that did the cap wouldn’t see him until Friday, & I called them on a Monday. So he would have been in severe pain for 5 days before he could be seen. Thank goodness I found Dr. Annie because she was willing to see him the next day & he is now on antibiotics & has an appointment set up to get that tooth pulled. My son is terrified of the dentist, but Dr. Annie, Kim & the rest of the staff were so kind & patient with him that he cooperated with them no problem! Dr. Annie even called 2 days after she saw him to check on how he was feeling & made sure that if he was in any pain still, that she would get him in sooner to pull that tooth. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients which from my experience, is such a breath of fresh air. The kindness & compassion she showed to my son & I is something I truly will never forget. Needless to say, I will never take my son anywhere else. He will be a patient of hers for as long as she’ll have us! Thank you so, so much, Dr. Annie, Kim & staff. I’m not sure what we would’ve done without you. We are so grateful.
