Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the dental treatment my mother, who is over 70 years old, received at your office. She was seen three separate times for the same temporary bridge because it repeatedly failed. The first temporary bridge was grossly oversized, she was never given a mirror to approve the work, and the treating dentist did not personally examine it before she was sent home. Although another staff member improved it during the second visit, the bridge came completely off while she was eating a soft taco. When it came off, we discovered that five additional healthy teeth had been shaved down, despite there being nothing wrong with those teeth. She returned a third time, only to receive another oversized temporary bridge that prevented her from closing her mouth comfortably, chewing normally, or smiling with confidence. Again, the dentist did not personally inspect the work before she left.When my mother and I realized what had been done, we both cried. The unnecessary loss of healthy tooth structure is irreversible and devastating. Under Georgia law, dentists have a duty to exercise the degree of reasonable care, skill, and diligence ordinarily exercised by reasonably prudent dental professionals under similar circumstances. Based on my mother's experience, I do not believe that standard of care was met. I have attached a picture showing the object that was placed in her mouth, preventing her from closing it properly. Despite this, the dental office allowed her to leave in this condition. If this matter cannot be resolved promptly and professionally, I intend to file a complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry and pursue any other remedies available under Georgia law. My mother deserved reasonable dental care, not repeated negligent treatment, unnecessary alteration of healthy teeth, and avoidable pain and inconvenience.

I really appreciated the care they showed my daughter and how easy they made the entire visit.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible. The doctor was nice which is why I stayed. However, the administration side needs serious help. I waited 9 months for my cleaning appointment and 2 months prior to that because of a mistake they made TWICE with scheduling. I had not had my cleaning for a whole year because of this. After all of this time and waiting, I had completely different insurance and after contacting the office multiple times to verify coverage I never received a call until the day before where they called me to reschedule yet again because of a flood! I know things happen but having to be inconvenienced this amount of time is outrageous. I ended up having to cancel my appointment because they’re stating that I will owe a large sum of money for my appointment the next day and only after I asked again. If I didn’t say anything, I would’ve been turned around and inconvenienced yet again! Not to mention, I called weeks before to have this straightened out so this wouldn’t be a last-minute problem AGAIN! I had to take off work, and secure a babysitter, only to be told that I needed to go to a further location and that I would owe money that I had no idea about and after a whole year, I STILL don’t get my teeth cleaned. I am not happy with the service here and I will be finding another dentist.

Experiencia negativa: This is one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had! I should have trusted my gut from the start, but I wanted to give them a chance since my original dentist was far away. I want to start by saying that I have always gone to the dentist. Still, for some reason, this one seems off with the pre-treatment estimates and what you have to pay. My advice is to pay very close attention to your estimates! Even my cleaning, which costs nothing elsewhere, came with a charge here. Also, make sure there are no surprise fees that you end up paying. It happened to me, and I had to argue with the front desk lady because she thought she could pull a fast one on me! That should have been a sign, but I went back anyway! However, it wasn't this that made me decide never to return; it was the dentist's unprofessional behavior. I was scheduled for a cosmetic procedure to fix a small chip in my tooth, but while I was there, I asked her to check a previous filling that was affecting my bite and gum line. She fixed it so quickly and poorly that my tooth looked like an amateur had just gone to town filing it unevenly. When I told her it still bothered me, she got annoyed. She said she didn't know what else to tell me because she had done everything she could and offered me a hygiene appointment to address some staining at the back of my tooth; keep in mind, she put a filling on the tip of my tooth, which was gritty and needed shaping and filing, so what does that have to do with a hygienist? Then she stormed out of the room, leaving the appointment unfinished. I have never been so shocked. I ended up leaving quickly, only to be stopped again with a bill for a supposed charge my insurance didn't cover, which I plan to verify. Now I have to return to my old dentist to fix the mess she made! I personally don't recommend!

A crown and a filling fell out and they refused to fix it (now i have to pull the tooth) and told me to leave and made up words that I said that I did not say.. Experiencia negativa: SCAM!!! Never go here. They will try to over treat you and overcharge you. They said I needed 3 root canals based off a horrible xray they took. I went to my old dentist in horror and I need 0 root canals and two of the teeth that Sage said I needed root canals on need NO WORK at all!! Not even a filling! They were overcharging and horrible. NEVER GO HERE!!

Experiencia negativa: Really disappointed in this office. Staff was slow, hard to hear and understand, and the quote I was given for a cleaning even with insurance was outrageous. My husband also had a really bad experience - the person working on his crown muttered something and literally walked away from him mid job and disappeared. He was told a complete crown could be done in a timely manner, then it couldn't. We had to leave on a three week vacation with a hole in his gums and a temporary that had already been in three weeks. Both of us paid what we thought we owed completely, only to be billed later for multiple other things out of no where.No thank you. I have zero faith in this location. The one in Acworth treated me a bit better, but is still back billing me. Can not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Everytime I go there it is like going to a car dealership- they try and try to charge you for things you didn't ask for or want. I went today for my semi annual cleaning and annual X-rays. They asked me to sign their tablet stating it would cost me $73 out of pocket. I told them it should be covered under my insurance, they said yes except that Insurance did not cover anesthesia and some other service. I asked why I would need anesthesia for a cleaning and that I didn't want anything but what I asked for- cleaning and X-rays. She had to leave to get approval to proceed. They finally did what I wanted and their service was fine. I got home and looked at my bill online and it still shows $73! Wish my old dentist didn't sell out to Sage. Funning thing about leaving a bad review, shortly after I received a certified letter from the dentist stating that they are refusing to provide further service to me. I would assume if they were serious about fixing the problem they would want me back to show what they can really offer. But I guess they are just like I stated- a group that is out to nickel and dime you as much as possible. I wasn't sure if I was going to give them another chance to correct their problems, but I guess they made the decision for me. Nothing was done to fix the problem. Was told repeatedly that I was right and they were sorry but nothing was corrected. I was told that nothing could be done.

My teeth have been in bad shape, so I had to get a lot of work done today. My hygienist, Nicole, was INCREDIBLE. I really hate going to the dentist and she made I was comfortable and she did everything in her power to alleviate my pain. I absolutely love her. The ladies at the front desk, I wish I knew both of their names, but they are incredibly kind.

Experiencia negativa: I should've read the reviews before going in. Doctor and clinical staff were great. The problem is insurance billing. Never have I ever heard of a place that won't bill primary and secondary insurance. Office manager told me that she never said that medical needed to be billed first, but I still have the voicemail with the message she left me. Then kept stating they only bill the primary even AFTER a 3-way call with my dental insurance carrier letting her know that they just want to see that medical was billed first and what medical would cover then they would state what they would cover. My medical covers NOTHING so without billing my actual dental insurance I would have to foot the entire bill! I see a lot of reviews about pricing here, I see why.

I was told that my teeth would have to be pulled and the implants would cost 6044.00 final cost because of my insurance. I said okay. I called today to ask more questions. The lady played stupid like she had no clue what I asked for. OH, WE DONT DO IMPLANTS HERE. I canceled my appointment. PEOPLE DO ANYTHING FOR A SALE. One reason why people don't trust doctors. THEY STAFF LIE.

Experiencia negativa: New patient—never again. I left without service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with nothing but rudeness and attitude from the front desk. Without even letting me say something, the receptionist raised her hand and finger from across the room to stop me from saying anything. Not even good morning. Seriously? Too busy I guess. She was short, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by my basic questions about insurance coverage. For the record—they don’t accept secondary dental insurance and can’t even tell you whether you’ll owe anything after your visit. Imagine trusting a place with your smile when they can’t be upfront about basic billing. When I ultimately declined service, she snatched the iPad from my hands and just walked away—no goodbye, no direction, nothing. I was left standing there like, what the heck? So I left. If this is the level of service at the front desk, I’m not about to find out what the back rooms are like. And let’s just say—professionalism should be reflected in both behavior and appearance. Not impressed.

I was made very aware of what needed to be done. I will definitely refer family and friends, especially knowing that there are many different locations for convenience.

Experiencia negativa: Visited their office back in November 2024 for some periodontal cleaning they recommended. After checking my insurance,I was informed that my insurance would cover a portion and I would pay the rest. I ended up paying about $900 out of pocket which I’m still clearing off my credit card. Only to be sent a bill in June 2025 to say the insurance is not covering it. Apparently, they should have received prior authorization from the insurance company before going ahead with the cleaning. This could have been done because they had all the information from x-rays etc so could have find out if it was actually covered or not . Instead they claim it covered and now that the insurance is not covering it,they are sending me the bill. This is a scam and fraud. I’m seeing lots of persons being victimized by these scams where they are having to take legal actions but never taught this would be me. After talking to my insurance company,they even sent a bill of almost $5000 for the cleaning then sending me a bill $646.40. I’m sure the insurance company would rather the one sent to me. Very disappointed even through you all pretended to be nice.

Experiencia negativa: if there was away to visit Dr. Snyder w/o going though Peggy at the front desk, my experience would have been great. I made an appointment to see the periodontist. i was called by his office went over dental codes that would be used for consult. I was told that my visit would not be covered but the out of pocket cost would be 60.00. i drove 45 mins to the office and when my name was called i was told that my out of pocket cost would be 92.00. I advised that i didn't come prepare to pay that amount (due to me being on a budget). I was told what code was used and that, that was what came up in the system with no further explanation as to why the price changed. so I left and went home and tried to figure out where the breakdown and communication occurred. I contact the office back and got Peggy who is the most horrible rude disrespectful condescending person I have ever met. I was trying to talk to her to find out why I was quoted one price and the price was different when I got there. she talked over me and told me I could go to another dentist closer to me. started quoting me Dental codes wouldn't allow me to speak. I asked if I could get prior authorization from my insurance company for this particular service. I was told by Peggy that she was not going to do that for me. after yelling the code that the office used and that someone will call me back to schedule my appointment and refuse to give me the phone number for the periodontist office. hung up, i had one more question and called back. Peggy pick the phone up immediately place me on hold and left me there. Due to caller ID she knew it was my call. once again I hung up and contact corporate them the state board of Dentistry to larger complaint.

Experiencia negativa: The office stuff, for the most part, is awesome. When it comes to billing, ot giving ou information. They are horrible. They told me 1 price the billed my insurance a different price. Which i was billed for difference. I was told my insurance covered all of a deep cleaning. Then was, again, billed for this. They need to be honest and tell you upfront, what you need to pay. If this was corrected I would go back. I don't trust them so I will NOT be going back.

Experiencia negativa: This was my third and final visit to Sage Dental Marietta at West Cobb. My first visit as a new patient took nearly 2 hours just for X-rays and waiting, only to be told I had to come back for the actual cleaning. I returned later and the cleaning itself was fine, the dental hygienist was nice. Today, I came in for tooth pain. The front desk told me they had a 2pm opening due to a cancellation. I showed up 10 minutes early, but still sat in the waiting room until 2:50pm. The dentist briefly came in at 2:56pm, said I needed an X-ray, but the tools were still being sanitized. The tech didn’t take the two images until 3:10pm. By 3:25pm, I decided to leave. I was there for over an hour and a half, and saw the dentist and tech for maybe 10 minutes total. I was told the visit cost $237 (insurance covered it), but it’s not about the money, it’s about my time being disrespected. When I told the front desk I was leaving, she gave me a cold “sorry” and said the doctor would call me after reviewing the images. I told her I’d go to a different dentist, and she just said, “That’s fine,” with zero concern. Then she even tried to blame me, saying I was just added in to “fill in” and they were running behind. How is that my fault? I showed up early and did everything on my end. They’ll charge you for canceling, but when they waste your time, they don’t take any responsibility. This was my second time waiting forever with no real care or communication. I won’t be back.

However, on June 28th, I was contacted by the office and asked to come in earlier because they had double-booked my original time. I rearranged my schedule to help accommodate their mistake, but when I arrived for the new appointment, I was told I couldn’t get a cleaning because it was too early for my insurance to cover it. The hygienist was polite and offered to reschedule me or have me pay out of pocket—but I wasn’t about to pay for a service that would be fully covered just a few days later (on my original appointment date). What really bothered me was that after I declined to pay, the rescheduling felt very impersonal—no apology, no acknowledgment that I had already been inconvenienced twice because of their error. This experience showed a clear lack of organization and communication. I hope they take steps to better coordinate their scheduling and respect patients’ time in the future

Then they charged me $90 for some bone graft that didn't even stay in. This office is about making money, not patient care. $30 for some regular Oral B mouthwash that costs $5.89 at Walmart? Seriously? Scammers are what these folks are. Shame on you for being in a position for people to trust you and this is how you behave. Will not be using Sage Dental due to their predatory practices.

Experiencia negativa: This is the WORST dentist in my experience If you care about your teeth I recommend you NEVER go here. I had a filling come off and I went in to get it fixed and they put the original filling back on and I paid $1000 for it and it came off in less than a month. Experiencia negativa: I went in April 23 for a filling, but was offered a last-minute cancellation for a deep cleaning. The deep cleaning was for one side only and was given a tablet to sign several pages! Nothing was explained to me!! paid $561. Aimee kept telling me to refer to the Pre treatment plan that I signed. It’s like The pretreatment plan is some sort of contract! They act as if they are sneaky lawyers!! I went up there today for clarity and I actually overpaid by $70 but I will never return to this stupid place!! Also they gave me a box of cordless water floss billed for $90. Which I never opened. I thought it was free

I did have to wait a little while because they only have one dental hygienist and I didn’t know I wasn’t going to have a cleaning that day, just a check up in my mouth so they said I have to come back in a few months , which I wish I knew before coming in.

Experiencia negativa: Sage Dental was focused on selling me an expensive cleaning procedure and wouldn’t see me for anything else unless I agreed to this deep cleaning. The hygienist explained the need. I asked if I could decline the procedure. She said that is up to the Dentist. I asked “the customer doesn’t decide what care is provided?” She said it’s up to the Dentist. I asked the Dentist if I could decline the costly advanced cleaning and just get a filling she identified, the dentist said “no, because that would be unethical”. “So all or nothing? I asked. She said it would be unethical to only do part. So I had to decline all service because I didn’t want to commit to a procedure that cost me and my insurance thousands. Very weird vibe here. They were kind enough to give me my X-rays and procedure cost breakdown for a second opinion.
