Comfort Dental - Converse

Experiencia fantástica: The appointment was quick, staff friendly, and hours offered are student friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Very positive experience today. I am not of fan of dentists but they really stepped up their game and made me feel welcomed.

Experiencia negativa: The wait here is ridiculous. I purchase the gold plan, with high hopes considering the ratings are well. But why schedule us 30 minutes before we are able to get seen? After the gold plan is up, may look elsewhere. Also they don't do exams + cleanings same day. So of course there is extra office charges.

Experiencia fantástica: I should have known about this clinic before. The prices are very reasonable, and everyone—from the staff to the dentist—is so friendly and accommodating. They explain everything in a simple, easy‑to‑understand way. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr.Ryan was great and the overall staff really takes care of you! Great establishment and highly recommend if your looking for great dental work.

Experiencia fantástica: Super nice and answered all my questions!

Experiencia positiva: The dental part of the office is slow moving. The dentist was quick to judge the timing of my visit. Not to ask why its been so long since my last cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good Doctor and all associates and trusted services.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience as always. Staff is nice and friendly and know what they are doing.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff. All procedures were explained and I was allowed to ask any questions i had. Pricing was discussed and I was not pressured in any way.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ryan is one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. He’s thorough, gentle, patient and kind. I’m 66 and he is so respectful and caring towards me. That means a lot. I’ve never had any of his work fail. I even had a challenging tooth and he worked on it with his expertise and I didn’t lose the tooth! I was skeptical to go to Comfort Dental at first when I moved here. Comfort Dental where I use to live had, unfortunately, a bad reputation. But when I went to Facebook and asked the folks in Converse where to go, this office resounded with praises and I’m glad I listened to them! Best office around! Thanks Dr Ryan for always taking care of my dental needs!

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional approach; describe my dental plan for restoration of my teeth and gums. They also have an in house dental plan to help with dental costs; makes for a good option to make dental costs affordable.

Experiencia fantástica: Saved me! I had a cracked tooth and was about to travel out of the country. They got me in and fixed my tooth that same day. Dr Ryan and his team are outstanding!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great dentist always feel comfortable and well attended to.

Experiencia fantástica: I called to set up an appointment now that I have insurance. Alexis helped confirm my insurance is accepted and got me scheduled for a new patient appointment! Super kind and personable.

Experiencia fantástica: Alexis was so helpful with getting my questions answered and appointment scheduled!

Experiencia fantástica: I have always had a good experience at.Comfort Dental, Converse.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Foulger, his assistant Sarah and the whole team at Comfort Dental are amazing! I am a dentist myself and while traveling through the area with my family, I broke my front tooth!! Nothing more embarrassing than being a dentist with a broken front tooth. Not only was Dr Flouger and the team able to work me in super fast for an emergency - but the my fixed my tooth better than it was before! It looks so good, you can’t even tell it was broken! The whole procedure was painless and so fast! If you live in the area and are even considering it, this is the office you should go to, you won’t regret it! Thank you everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Everybody’s very nice, thoughtful, considerate, and the patient care is very good.

Experiencia fantástica: I appreciate Dr Thereou, he did a comprehensive exam and explained to well what was going on with my teeth’s and the way forward to conserve the bridge I have. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I love getting my dental treatment at Comfort Dental. Dr. Roderick and all the staff are so kind and go above and beyond to make you comfortable. I highly recommend this practice to all my friends and family.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this dental office for 10 plus years. Have had great service and no complaints.

Experiencia negativa: This last visit was the worst dental experience I have ever had. I was told I had bone loss under one of my molers with an infection. The dentist said she need to extract my tooth. She said numbing me would be tough due to the infection. She said it would take 2-4 min to pull my tooth and it should come out fairly easy. I could feel my tooth and gums through the entire process. It took 20-30 min for her to pull my tooth. She couldn't get it out and had to drill it into pieces to get it out I had pain throughout the entire process. I think this dentist failed me. She need to try harder to numb me.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an amazing experience! Dr. Ryan was great and his assistant Yari was very friendly. X-rays were pain free and fast. Definitely recommend this establishment.

Experiencia fantástica: Check in was quick and easy. I was seen on time. My cleaning went very well and the dentist was great. Check out was simple, follow up appt was easy to make.

Experiencia positiva: Very courteous and professional staff. Was not informed until the consult that antibiotic was required before teeth cleaning. A 2nd consult is needed as a result. Would have been helpful to have known when scheduling appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to get a temporary crown put on (before I get my permanent one on) and Jamie was amazing. I was nervous and definitely asking questions about what she just told me and she took the time to explain everything to me. She also seemed to really know what she was doing and even explained what she was doing before, during and after. Highly recommend her and I look forward to coming back to get my real crown on.

Experiencia fantástica: Jamie and Dr. Taylor were awesome , definitely recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff, I came in with a chipped tooth and they got it fixed for a decent price with no insurance and work with me and I can't thank them enough! I also thank Dr.Ryan he was absolutely awesome he genuinely cares about his clients, thanks to him I get to smile again

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ryan is superb. He listened to my concerns and very understanding. I’m relieved to have finally found a dentist close by.

Experiencia negativa: Made a call was inquiring about pricing the lady hung up in my face just say we are not taking new patients

Experiencia fantástica: Dentist and staff were very patient, pleasant and friendly. While some dental offices make you feel like nothing more than an income source, Comfort Dental - Converse ranked high, patiently focusing on my personal needs, concerns and countless questions. Two thumbs up team...great job!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a bad experience in the past. I was referred to this dentist by my son and so glad that I went there. The staff is excellent, cheerful and very caring. The dentist was also very caring and explained everything. He pulled out my tooth before I even new it, with no stress or pain. I am so happy to have found Dr. Taylor, he seem like he really cares about his patients and would recommend him to anyone that needs dental work. I was in and out in no time. Thanks Comfort Dental Converse. DJ

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Taylor and his assistant Jamie were amazing , they made sure daughter Katelynn was comfortable for her crown appointment, definitely recommend !!!

Experiencia fantástica: It was absolutely wonderful! I had gone in my old town in Arizona and the dentist said it would be $8300 to fix all of my teeth. Today when I went to comfort dental, they said I just needed my teeth cleaned. Just absolutely wonderful!

Experiencia fantástica: I have really high anxiety with going to the dentist and Dr. Ryan and his assistants really helped eased my mind and tried to keep me as calm as possible! They did an amazing job!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice and professional staff. Thank 0ĺ for a more than pleasant experience than what I expected from a dentist's office.

Experiencia fantástica: The service I received to be friendly, professional, and respectful. The Dr gave me some advice for my concerns that was very helpful. I would recommend this office to others

Experiencia fantástica: Have went hear for years…I have trust in this team and they always provide options for care and understand.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff and Dr were friendly and addressed all of my concerns. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a great experience here ❤️ Dentist is AMAZING, staff is very helpful. Wait times are as expected. I’ve been able to get work done here other dentist could not do.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice staff and quick service, I never stay in the waiting lobby for long. Appointments are short and simple if your teeth are good.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Taylor for over a decade. About 2 years ago, I had to cancel my 6-month’s appointment. The then receptionist was not very nice or helpful trying to reschedule the appointment, hopefully for the same month so as to keep up with my routine visits; I had to find another dentist to stay in the 6-month routine. For the next 3 visits, I went to another dentist close by. I guess it’s human conditioning that I kept missing Dr. Taylor. So I finally called and made the appointment. Honestly, I felt home again. The staff had changed, the decor was updated, the names on the entrance door were changed, but Dr. Taylor was still there. A tad older (just like me) and probably overworked. Back then, he used to make me laugh and feel at ease with his stories… but times have changed. We have changed. My best regards to Dr. Thad. He was the first to take care of me on my first visit. I asked for the next appointment with the doctor “with T” and I got Dr Taylor instead! So, I smiled at Dr. Thad from afar, probably on his last days there.

Experiencia positiva: They should not have arguments with patients about fees & insurance in front of other patients. Going to the Dentist can be very stressful !! I hope the VA pays y'all on time & thanks.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an issue that was resolved by Dr Ryan and his staff. When I first arrived here in San Antonio about 21 years ago I asked a co worker to recommend a dentist, without hesitation she said Comfort Dental. I love how the entire staff greets you when you first walk into the clinic. They make the visit a very pleasing and comfortable time while you are being attended to. When ask whom would I recommend, there’s no doubt that my first response is going to be Comfort Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was genuine and helpful. I felt like a patient should feel when their issues are being addressed and acknowledged. The time and attention to the treatment plan was very professional and instrumental in helping me make some important decisions with my dental care plan. Thank you Dr. Broderick and staff at Comfort Dental !

Experiencia fantástica: It was probably one of the most comfortable environments in any dental office I’ve been . The dental assistant and Dr. Taylor were excellent I’m making me feel comfortable

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ryan is always the best. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. He is excellent at what he does. Very happy our family found him.

Experiencia negativa: As I sat in the waiting area of this dental office I witnessed the unprofessionalism of the female dentist towards the young lady working the front desk. I am guessing the young lady is new because of the comments that were made . I wanted to say something while I waited but didn’t want the young lady to feel worse than how she felt. The people next to me also just shook their heads. That was bullying ,unprofessional and disrespectful. Nobody should ever be talked to like that. I have had this on my mind since early today.

Experiencia fantástica: They provide an excellent service and are always very friendly.

Experiencia positiva: This is really only for my visit on 20 January other times I have been to comfort dental It has been a great experience. I was seen by two prior male doctors, which I see are gone now maybe. However, the lady doctor they have In there now while she knows her dental work and is a good dentist, Her bedside manners, presented her to be rude. She was also very heavy-handed. I felt a bit, jerked around during my appointment. Although I know it’s not easy for the tools to smoothly go into your mouth without hitting your teeth or anything like that, but the majority of dentist I’ve been to definitely try to be more gentle. It felt like she didnt even want to try to be gentle, just get the job done. one time the needle on the drill hit my gum. When I said ouch, she just numbed me up more, didn’t ask what was going on or what happened. When she was done, she just took the jaw block out and of course my jaw was already kind of sore so I was closing it slowly for the suction and she just closed my mouth for me. I guess I wasn’t going fast enough for her. Then she put her drill up and just walked away didn’t say OK we’re done, how are you feeling, this is whats going to happen next. Nothing. So again, she knows her job and does it well, I would return for that but I wouldnt return expecting a welcoming spirit from her. The dental asssistant was super kind though. If she is there when I return, her kindness makes up for it.

Experiencia fantástica: I was treated very well and all my anxiety about the dentist were calmed down. Friendly staff and patient attentive and cheerful. Thank you Comfort dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Cynthia Wong was an absolute professional. I didn’t have a good experience during a prior visit, but Dr. Wong made up for it. She explained every, details to me and I completed to crown on a month. She was great.

Experiencia fantástica: Was seen ontime. Dr Taylor and his tech were great. Awaiting authorization from VA. Thanks y'all

Experiencia fantástica: The Dentist Cynthia Wang was patient, helpful and kind. Answered all questions I had. Thanks Ronnie Huff

Experiencia fantástica: I was very self conscious going in and Dr. Ryan was awesome at making me feel comfortable and heard. He kept it honest with me about my needs, but was also gentle and patient with me regarding things in my personal list of importance I would like to address.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you so much for all of your help and friendliness as everyone was so kind. I really appreciate you all being gentle knowing that I was afraid of the procedure and also making me as comfortable as possible and to not feel any pain. Again, you all don’t know what a blessing you were by giving back to the communities that you serve. Thanks again -Cas

Experiencia fantástica: Whenever I have an appointment with Dr. Foulger, everyone from the front desk, the dental assistance, Dr. Foulger, and the checkout staff are always friendly and make me feel welcomed. Everyone is very professional and take time to answer any questions I may have and never make me feel uncomfortable and rushed.

Experiencia fantástica: I be been going to Comfort Dental for the last three years now. The staff and Dr. Broderick have been caring and professional each time.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been using Comfort Dental for a while now. Unfortunately, I had a small dental emergency and was concerned because my dentist had left the practice. Luckily there was no reason to worry. I called and Alexis was so friendly and was able to get me in within 24hrs to see Dr. Taylor. I am so thankful for both of them working me in and taking care of the issue before it got worse.

Experiencia fantástica: My first appt with Dr Ryan Broderick, he was very easy to talk with and laid out a plan for my treatment. Very good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: The service was great. Once I was numb, it happened really fast. For dental, it was a pain free process!

Experiencia fantástica: This is my dentist since 2014 when we moved here. Dr Thad and his entire team are always friendly, professional and work with their patients best interest in mind. They also were always able to work with me around my work schedule which I greatly appreciate. If you are looking for a dentist in the Converse area, I can only recommend them.

I really like my dentist, he’s very knowledgeable and professional and listens to what you’re needs are. All the way around, it’s a great place to be if you need dental work.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here , the office was extremely friendly and clean . I had great service and a speedy and informative referral for braces as well . Jessica Salinas provided great customer service and made the experience welcoming and enjoyable .

Experiencia fantástica: I made an appointment with Dr. Broderick on the recommendation of my aunt (who is highly critical of everything and everyone.) She was absolutely right- a wonderful dentist who will discuss options for my dental care, instead of insisting all my teeth have to come out. Very nice employees and dental nurses- I felt like a person instead of a set of teeth that needed pulling out. I walked in feeling embarrassed and humiliated by the state of my teeth, but walked out confident and secure in the fact that I finally found the right people to help care for me and my teeth, and that everything will be resolved in the best way possible! Thank you so much, Comfort Dental!

Experiencia fantástica: My over all experience was great. Jessica Salinas really helped me out with scheduling all my follow up appointments. Dr. Taylor did a fantastic job fixing my teeth I haven’t stopped smiling since I left his office.

Experiencia fantástica: I love Comfort Dental. Professional, friendly, and welcoming staff. Clean and bright dental treatment area. Accommodating when scheduling. Dr. Broderick and team are knowledgeable, skilled, and deliver an informative and thorough exam, and quality treatment. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Comfort Dental in Converse is simply amazing. Dr. Foulger took care of me as a new patient emergency visit. He was so gentle and kind. His assistant Nessa was an angel. They both were so caring, gentle, professional, and thorough. This office is heaven sent!

Experiencia fantástica: Always have a great experience here. The staff are wonderful and the dentist is great at explaining and completing the procedure needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always hated going to the dentist but this is the best dental office ever! I’ve been going here since 2023. Very professional and very gentle. I’ve had 1 crown and several cavities filled. Each a great experience with little to no pain. I highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: When I first moved to Texas, this dental office was fantastic. The doctor took care of me and got his referrals into the VA, and problems were taken care of. In the past year I have seen a different doctor and the staff has seems to have change. Took two long grueling tries to get a partial that worked and fit (They went cheap the first time). During those visits, the doctor said I needed a deep cleaning and have some cavities filled. I waited and waited. Finally went in about a year later and low and behold my voucher had expired. No referrals for work had been sent to the VA. I had to call the VA and start the process all over again. I have notified the VA and switched providers. I would recommend using another provider and avoid the head aces. The receptionist seemed like she could care less about my complaint and had to rush to a staff meeting.

Experiencia fantástica: Yari is the absolute best! She’s literally the reason I will continue to come to this office. She’s so caring and personable. Dr Cynthia was great as well.

Experiencia negativa: I wish they had better customer service :( Dentist was nice but didn’t even introduce himself. Front desk and business office were not friendly at all. I’ve been here before and probably had the same issue and forgot until I went back and it’s still the same. Got taken back quick and that was the only plus.

Experiencia fantástica: Great dentist and great location. I’m always made to feel welcomed and comfortable during my appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a possible abscess and called Comfort Dental. They got me in right away and took care of the problem. I was so happy they were able to see me on short notice. I had a good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife has always experienced significant anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. However, Dr. Foulger was exceptional in helping to ease her worries. He took the time to listen to her concerns, explained everything thoroughly, and his calm and patient approach made her feel comfortable and safe. This was a game-changer for her, and we are incredibly grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: Made the whole experience very relaxing, the whole staff is kind. The dentist is very experienced, calming, efficient, made my past dental trauma like it never happened, I highly recommend Dr. Flower, and his staff. To anyone seeking dental service.
