So kind, no judgement, and I was able to get same day treatment! They took care of myself and my youngest son, answered our questions and are genuinely just amazing people who help you get back on track. I loved the positivity and kindness! Next morning, had a ten minute wait, was greeted by Paige (hopefully correct spelling) what a piece of sunshine, I explained my dilemma, she was very understanding and walked me through the process. Gave me her full attention. The master dentist came in did a more thorough exam than I’ve had before gave me her recommendation . I was good to go. It’s unfortunate for me that I’m in the process of moving out of state. I would certainly make them my primary dentist. Thank you all so much.

Experiencia fantástica: Had my first ever root canal done here. I was very worried about the pain and the entire procedure in general. I called around different dentist in the area since I’m new to San Antonio for pricing and overall good reviews and landed on this one. Dr. T and Courtney were the ones that did my procedure and I couldn’t be happier. They both explained everything and were very very helpful . It was more or less painless other than the initial numbing which wasn’t that bad. I would recommend this dentist to anyone 10/10

Experiencia negativa: Honestly, I came here because of the raving reviews and I can’t say I had the same experience as everyone else. I arrived 20 minutes early and I didn’t get seen by anyone until 20 minutes past my appointment time. Then, they were still backed up with other patients so all the could do were my X-rays. I got sent back out into the waiting room. (Which was dirty. Between the tiny furniture and dirty floors I was so uncomfortable waiting). By the time they came out to grab me it was 30+ minutes past my original appointment time. They sat me in the chair and one of the first things the tech tried to do was schedule me for my next 6 month appointment… mind you no one has even touched my teeth or even started service. I declined scheduling and she told me we then need to wait for the dentist hygienist to come in and do the cleaning.. At this point I’ve been passed off 3 separate times and no one has even started cleaning my teeth. By the time the hygienist started it was an hour after my appointment time. He told me everything looked good and he didn’t see any concerns. The tech comes back in and tells me the Doctor is finishing up and will be in shortly… so then when the doctor finally comes in she points out 2 cavities that the hygienist didn’t even mention. She said she wants more X-rays and then the front desk will come and talk over pricing from the fillings. The doctor was in my room a total of 3 minutes.. I sat there waiting another 15 minutes and no one came. It wasn’t until I visibly looked annoyed that the tech came back around and said “she hasn’t come by yet?” The front desk lady comes back finally and hands me a paper which I noticed did not have the correct insurances on it…. She got short and annoyed with me and said I must have imputed them wrong. At this point I asked her to email me the updated invoicing so I could leave… 2 hours it took from start to finish for a routine teeth cleaning. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be back.

The whole firm is very friendly very knowledgeable and make you feel like you're the only patient of the day even though they are very busy. I'm recommending them to all my family and I would recommend them to anyone. They're very easy to get to it's very clean well-kept play it took care of my problem in no time and even while I was there every single one of the people even the ones that were not included into what I was having done but the other ones too would say hello or ask if you were all right and if there was anything that they could do. I can't say enough that they are very wonderful people there.

Experiencia negativa: Friendly staff. That being said, I've never been to a dentist where I was getting my teeth cleaned & my face washed at the same time. Water was being sprayed everywhere. I was constantly having to wipe the water dripping down my face & neck. I don't know if it was the lack of skill from the hygienist, the tools, or a combination of both. Speaking of tools, I noticed one of the tools they were gonna use had exposed wiring. Before they started, I voiced my concern. I was assured it was "ok."

They let me know price upfront for an X-ray and that they could at least tell me the problem. They made sure I was ok still and gave me a detailed sheet what was wrong, what I needed, and how much it would cost out of pocket just incase. Highly recommend giving their office a try.

I am also very grateful for the Doctor’s knowledge and ability to explain the procedures and clinic processes. I drive two and a half hours to get to the clinic, but it’s well worth it!

Experiencia positiva: Usually appts here are 5 star all the way but my last one things went a little sideways. I was supposed to come in for an exam and then make a plan with my Dr. on how to proceed with the plan moving forward. My original Dr. was not available today and there seemed to be some confusion as to why I was there for my appt. Let me say, the staff there, by far, are friendly and caring people so it was strange when I was brought back for my exam and cleaning that they actually polished my teeth first, which I thought the cleaning should have been first...not a big deal. Then one of the Dr's came in and told me what needed to happen moving forward, he then left and I was waiting in the chair for about 35-40 minutes waiting to get my teeth cleaned. Hoping this is just a strange moment in time since all my other appts have all been 5-star! I should mention that I have been referred to this dentist through the VA Community Care team since I am rated 100% and they have done a great job...this appt was a little frustrating though. Hoping things will go better moving forward.

The staff truly cared about me as a patient & they don’t try to scam or lie saying there’s stuff wrong with your teeth when there is actually nothing wrong! I really appreciate being able to trust them! My only complaint is the x ray room has no hook for your purse & the lady said to set it on the ground….. that’s a huge no no in many cultures its bad luck to set your purse on the floor, I just put it on the shelf by the computer, but they need to add a hook on the wall, I know I’m not the only person who has felt this way lol. Also, I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time, so just keep in mind when booking it may take longer to be seen, however they were apologetic about the wait at least.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Autumn Heights Dental today because an old filling on one of my front teeth was coming loose. When I called to schedule, I also mentioned I needed a cleaning, and although they tried to fit both in on the same day, the timing didn’t work out. I was rescheduled for the cleaning, but in the shuffle, the filling wasn’t noted on the appointment. When I arrived and realized I might need to reschedule the filling, I embarrassingly got emotional — it’s hard not to when it’s a front tooth! Barbara, one of the dental techs, noticed how upset I was and was so kind and compassionate. She advocated for me and worked hard to get me worked in that same day. I also have a lot of anxiety around the dentist and usually opt for sedation, but decided not to this time since I thought it would be a quicker visit. Barbara was so attentive and gentle, and genuinely cared about how my smile turned out — she even pointed out and helped fix small imperfections I had always noticed but never felt comfortable mentioning. I left the office today feeling more confident in my smile than I ever have — and that’s saying something. Even though I felt a little embarrassed at first, I couldn’t be more grateful for how everything turned out. The entire staff at Autumn Heights Dental made me feel heard, cared for, and truly valued. I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond for me.

Dentist was very gentle and concerned about my comfort throughout the whole visit, super weird right?
