Experiencia fantástica: This clinic turned what is by definition a brutally unpleasant experience (two sets of gum grafts with a DEEP cleaning in between, and frenulumectomy) into a professional, clinic/patient relationship I will miss. Not only was the work performed to the highest of standards, the care and attention I received by all the staff was unparalleled. From Dr.Baker’s congenial and solicitous professionalism, to Colleen’s peerless, meticulous craftsmanship (including the most subtle and gentle administration of anesthetic injections I’ve ever received), everyone shared generously of their knowledge (I like to ask a lot of questions), and made me feel welcome and appreciated. They offer repeated, helpful reminders about upcoming visits (which I, for one really need), a comprehensive breakdown of what to expect billing-wise, plenty of pre-procedure preparation information and advice, and post-operation follow-up. As much as the thought of oral surgery strikes fear in the heart of even the bravest amongst us, I know, should I ever find myself being prescribed such a course of action again, Dr.Baker and Dr.Lovelace’s practice is where I will go, confident I’ll receive first class care and treatment I regret there are but only 5 stars to offer in return…

Dr. Baker took the time to explain my dental situation. Dr. Baker did not rush the procedure and took his time getting everything correct. I would like to provide a special shout out to Tara Hulford the financial coordinator, who provided some excellent advice regarding signing up for a dental insurance plan before the procedure, to maximize my spending towards the Implant and for my regular dental visits. The dental assistants and front desk were easy to work with.

There was one bump that did occur on my gums near one of the implants afterwards but they were able to clean it up free of charge which was nice. Overall i'm very happy with my implants and crowns and would highly recommend doctor baker.

Experiencia fantástica: Raquel is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. I was referred by Border View Dental to the Implant & Periodontal Clinic to have my gums checked. Dr. Baker was helpful, kind, and made me feel confident about the treatment plan moving forward. Later, during my deep cleaning appointments, I was blessed to work with Raquel, and she’s the reason I’m leaving this review. She did my deep cleaning (scaling and root planing over two appointments), and I’m so glad I saw her both times. When you're in the chair for two hours, it really matters who you're with. Raquel was amazing. She used a combination of intraoral and extraoral fulcrums as needed while scaling and planing, which made a huge difference since I’ve had bad experiences in the past with hygienists who didn’t use fulcrum properly. She took breaks as needed to adjust my position and was very attentive throughout. After she finished, she flossed thoroughly to check for any spots that needed extra attention, which I really appreciated because that’s not always done and it shows her thoroughness. She also showed me how to use the different dental hygiene tools I’ll need to care for my gums going forward. I felt listened to and supported. She used just a small amount of local anesthetic, and I had no pain at all once it wore off. Her technique was gentle and careful, and it made a big difference. I’ve seen many dental hygienists over the years, and Raquel stands out in every way. She’s kind, skilled, and someone I really hope to keep seeing for all my future appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: How fortunate we were. We googled and found Dr. David Baker on the internet in 2007. By 2020, he had done ten implants for our family. All of them very successful, with no future problems. Our family dentists say the implants are all expertly placed. Now in 2025, my wife needed another. Of course we contacted Dr. Baker right away. He has already done the implant for her. There was no swelling, and only minimal pain managed by Ibuprofen. Dr. Baker is so gentle, and his staff are so wonderfully supportive. Experiencia fantástica: I had a gum graft on my front tooth. I was really worried about the surgery and the pain afterwards. The surgery went quite well. I really had no reason to be so worried. I kept taking the ibuprofen every 4 hours and kept ice packs on my front jaw for 2 days. It swelled but was not unbearable. Lost the first stitches off roof of mouth in 4 days. No pain. Just gone. 3 days later the front stitches were gone. While it wasn’t painless it was nothing like what I had expected. Totally a great experience. Staff and Dr Baker were extremely helpful, gentle and reassuring. I recommend them 100%.

Experiencia fantástica: This morning I had an upper broken off last molar extracted by Dr. Baker and his assistant. The cracked molar was deemed hopeless by my regular dentist and I was referred to Dr. Baker for removal. From the time I stepped into the office I was treated professionally and with care along with assurances they were available for any needed aftercare. Even though I’m an anxious patient, I only felt minimal discomfort upon removal and would call it a pain free experience. I’ve already recommended Dr. Baker and staff to friends.

Experiencia negativa: Left appt without seeing Dr. Baker, but would not recommend this practice due to their disrespect of my time. Booked original appt 5 weeks ago for today at 2:30- I called in a.m. to confirm, and they asked if I could come in at 1:30 as they had "an emergency" booked around 2:30. I rearranged my schedule and came in at 1:30. Was taken back to dental seat by 1:40, hygienist said Dr. Baker would be there in a few minutes. No one else came in. At 2:15 I got up at left after waiting more than half an hour in the dental seat to be seen, and no one came to tell me anything. My time is important too, and there are other places that can have my business. I spoke with the clinic manager who apologized, but I wish I had seen a review like this, I would have booked elsewhere.

As someone who has a fear of the dentist, they ensured that I was comfortable, informed, and that it was a judgement free zone. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Baker removed and replaced my #14 upper molar about a year ago. The entire process was easy, painless and, from my perspective, a total success. The friendly professionalism of Dr Baker and his staff put me completely at ease. I hope I don’t need to have another tooth replaced with an implant, but if I do, I would not go anywhere else to have it done.

He has it out in no time which was a relief after my prior day at my other dentist was almost an hour of stress while they had attempted to remove the tooth. Although I had taken good care of my teeth in the last couple of decades, my teeth suffered the effects of decay that went back more than a half century to my youth.
