Experiencia fantástica: My tooth broke on Wednesday evening. I called my dentist Thursday morning and they were able to get an appointment that same afternoon. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and Dr. Erickson was nice and straight forward about my treatment. I felt blessed that they had an opening for Friday morning to remove the tooth. We arrived at 7:30 and I was in the room shortly after. The procedure was done and over in less than an hour. Next thing I know the assistant was helping me to the car we're heading home. Dr. Erickson even called to check on me that evening. He and all the staff were very helpful and giving me every opportunity to ask questions if needed. Thank you all for a pleasant experience. They were able to get me in the very next day, gave me treatment options so I could choose the one that made the most sense for me, and gave me everything I needed so I could have a speedy recovery. They called my prescriptions in right away so they would be ready when I left their office. They sent me home with clear and well written-out instructions on how to best care for my mouth along and how to stay ahead of the pain, along with a packet of gauze. I didn’t have any pain even though I opted to not go with general anesthesia. I am very pleased and highly recommend them!

He listened attentively and explained my daughter’s condition and plan of care. After performing oral surgery on my daughter, he followed up with a call late in the evening to check on my daughter. His professionalism and bedside manners go above and beyond.

Whether it’s my pain tolerance or just how skilled my oral surgeon is (I’m leaning toward the latter), I was shocked at how quickly the pain disappeared—just hours after the procedure. The whole process was smooth, professional, and surprisingly comfortable. Now I’m on to the healing process, but so far, everything feels great. Highly recommend! Edit : The procedure itself went well, and the staff especially in Odessa were kind and professional. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating with the midland office. I called the office about possible dry socket and ongoing pain 4 days post-surgery,, and they scheduled me in Midland since Dr. Erickson rotates between offices. Unfortunately, I was five minutes late due to traffic on 191, and they immediately rescheduled me, mind you I have excruciating pain . I was told they tried calling me, but when the front desk staff checked, it turned out they hadn’t called anyone that morning. Even so, I was still pushed to a later appointment, meaning I have to wait longer while still in pain. I expected more understanding, especially for post-op issues I am now 5 days post surgery. Hoping future visits go more smoothly.
