Experiencia negativa: I gave this office multiple chances and completely regret it. Not only was the entire place unprofessional, but they also messed up work on my teeth that I now have to get fixed somewhere else. The dentist constantly looked impaired while working, and employees openly talked about him disappearing into the bathroom between patients to smoke weed. There were also times he looked like he had been drinking while walking around the office, which is the last thing anyone wants to see from someone working on their teeth. The office has a weird, toxic atmosphere with employees constantly getting fired for no reason, so it’s no surprise nobody wants to work there. Instead of improving things, management just keeps blaming everyone else. On top of all that, the place feels extremely outdated and old-school compared to modern dental offices. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere more professional that actually cares about patient safety and quality work.

Experiencia negativa: I’d avoid this office entirely. The atmosphere feels extremely unprofessional, and it’s hard to trust the level of care being provided. The dentist allegedly disappears between patients to smoke weed in the bathroom and often appears to be walking around looking intoxicated or drunk while treating people, which is honestly disturbing for a medical office. Patients should never have to question whether their dentist is impaired while working on them. There also seems to be constant employee turnover because staff are fired for little to no reason, creating a toxic environment where nobody wants to stay. Instead of addressing the issues, management seems more concerned with blaming employees than improving the workplace. On top of that, the office itself feels very outdated and behind the times. With so many modern dental offices offering better technology, professionalism, and patient care, I’d much rather go somewhere that actually takes dentistry seriously and makes patients feel safe and respected.

Experiencia negativa: Dr recommended a tooth bonding that should last 2-5 years for $500. No problem… Paid it. The bonding was poor and broke in 2 weeks. Tried another bond and that broke as well. $500 down the drain. I follow up and ask for next steps. They recommend a crown now for $2000. I asked for a credit for the $500 bond that didn’t hold. They refused. Not to mention, they offer you a cleaning as part of a special. The catch is you can’t get your teeth cleaned same day, next week or even next month. The “free service” takes months to even book. Will definitely go elsewhere. Don’t recommend at all.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Experience. Was easy scheduling my appointment. Coordinated obtaining root canal with endodontist. Did an excellent job preparing my tooth for a new crown. The dental assistant and Dr. Behner made certain the entire process was pain free and the temporary crown they fabricated was a perfect fit and color match. I highly recommend Dr. Behner’s practice

Called around to different places to find someone who accepted new patients and my insurance and came across Behner. The receptionist, Charmaine, on the phone was incredibly sweet and helpful which made for a great first impression. Had my first visit with them and everyone was kind and knowledgeable. The office is small but a tight knit group that works there. My hygienist, Maria, was so sweet and told me everything she was doing. Dr. Behner came in and introduced himself and talked about how long the practice has been in business and assured me he’d take great care of me. I felt very comfortable and cared for here and confident that if I ever need more than a cleaning and X-ray, that they will take excellent care of me. So glad to find them!

Experiencia negativa: I just called to make a new patient appointment. On phone, making the appointment... i was asked for my DOB as well as my full social security number. No thanks. As a doctor myself - a patient does NOT have to give any part of their social security number, if they choose not to. I gave this lady the last 4 digits - and she insisted it was office policy to have full SSN. No thanks. Policy is wrong... and some would even say, not legal to force people to give their SSN. Might be a good dentist - but idiotic policies.

And yes It was a mess but with him and his amazing staff they walked me through everything step by step and after 11 months today I finished my permanent teeth and I’m super happy the look of them I’ll even share w google a year ago I’d never put my mouth on social but thanks to behner and his team look at those pearlys those beautiful teeth

Experiencia negativa: They faulted me because as a single mom life happens & my FIVE YEAR OLD daughter refused to go with me to the apt I had booked , I have no family & due to me not being able to legally leave my child I had to last minute cancel. Even after being quoted 1700 OUT OF POCKET to have surgery done to my gums which I absolutely NEED done - I was still willing to pay and go through with them. Now I lost complete interest in even going to this business when the scheduler scolded me about missing my apt and then threatened me to never be seen or have another apt made because I accidentally missed the last apt I had to just take my money else where Pressuring tactics during a routine scheduling or rescheduling should never be done in a practice like this. In the service industry , people cancel all the time and life happens and I can’t support a business that doesn’t understand my special circumstances with my daughter Unless you can leave your baby at home alone with no supervision just to make an apt , DONT BOOK WITH THEM, Just called Greenberg , cleaning & everything for my daughter and I for only 140 each out of pocket Going to my afternoon apt right now after booking :)

Experiencia negativa: Is this place a joke? Spoke to the most rude receptionist I have ever spoken to. Not only that, but was originally calling to confirm my appointment and found out it was never made. Honestly though, the fact that the appointment wasn't made didn't really upset me, mistakes happen. But the way I was treated by the receptionist was insane. Would love to speak with management about the details of my experience because it was shockingly bad.

Experiencia negativa: THIS IS A REVIEW FOR PARENTS OF TODDLERS The complaint I have is actually regarding the way they approached my toddler’s care. 1. Asked in the phone if they could treat a young child of two years (the answer on the phone was yes, and to bring them in during my appointment). However when I arrived with them they seemed to be very uncomfortable with a young child and the doctor actually didn’t look at their teeth, but instead one of the hygienists who “used to work at a pediatric dentist” did. 2. The teeth staining I had concern about (because they can lead to decay and infection) I was told was not a big concern. I was also advised against using fluoride toothpaste and to keep brushing their teeth using baby toothpaste. No additional instructions were given until they could spit better. At the time I felt informed and that my concerns were answered, but this was me putting too much trust in them I think, and how they present themselves as a “family dentistry for all ages”. 3.My toddler now has two cavities because of following this advice (or lack of advice). I tried to do the right thing and go to a professional in advance, but I didn’t get that here. I am extremely disheartened and wish I had skipped this place and brought my child to a pediatric dentist back then. My toddler is very likely facing oral surgery now because I was given false assurance that things were fine. *Please if you are a parent concerned about your young toddlers teeth look into a pediatric dentist first or at least make sure the doctor will actually look at your child’s teeth as he didn’t look at my child’s directly. You could save yourself from a very unwanted and preventable situation!* My care for my own teeth was very good here, which is why it makes me especially sad that this situation happened because it seems as though they are kind enough and skilled enough but simply didn’t take the situation seriously for my child . I have no issues with the care of my teeth, but I would never recommend this place for a young child’s care based on my experience.

I am totally dentist-phobic, but had lost a filling so a dental visit wasn't optional. The office staff was friendly, caring and welcoming. The hygienist was professional and thorough. And Dr. Behner is one of the best dentists I have every had (I'm 65+ so that's saying a LOT!). He was amazing - no "ouchies", he was professional, friendly, efficient and everything you could possible ask for in a caregiver. If you are looking for the absolute BEST dentist in the area - I highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: All I can say, Dr Behner (and his team) are the absolute best and skilled dental team I have ever had. Very conservative of your teeth, and is no way is “extraction-happy”. He saved 3 teeth, hopefully without even needing root canals that another dentist missed (2 of the three). There were obvious cavities per visual inspection. I am retired and pay out of pocket, but want quality and not a dental conveyor belt “mill” corporate group. This is what I have with Dr Behner’s practice. Personal service with incredibly friendly and happy staff. I feel like I just made a bunch of new friends. AND he makes all procedures comfortable and pain free for me before, during, and after!

Experiencia positiva: While I have absolutely loved being a patient of Dr. Behner’s for over four years now, I must say that I was not pleased with this last visit. I am so glad he caught my broken tooth on my cleaning visit and we decided to take care of it immediately. He crowned my tooth and I think did a great job with it. However, I am disappointed that he did not catch the infection in the tooth during my treatment. In fact, I asked his assistant if she is checking for infection before putting the crown on (because my sister just experienced this same scenario) and she apparently paid no attention to my question. Now I am in pain, with a bad infection, and have to get a root canal. I think they should have caught this. I even got my retainers changed for the new crown. Hopefully we can save the crown.

THEY OFFER YOU A $79 PRICE TO CLEAN, X-RAY, AND EXAMINE YOUR TEETH . YOU FILL OUT ALL THE PAPER WORK. EVEN ASK THEM SEVERAL TIMES ON THE PHONE IF YOU ARE GETTING THE CLEANING THE TIME OF YOUR APT. AND ARE TOLD YES. I TOLD THEM I AM HANDICAP AND CANNOT COME SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD BE IN FOR A CLEANING INCLUDED. THE LADIES I SPOKE TO ON THE PHONE WERE VERY, VERY NICE. HOWEVER WHEN I WENT INTO THE OFFICE I WAS GIVEN A PAPER BY A VERY UNFRIENDLY WOMAN AND TOLD TO PUT MY SS# ON AND SHE WOULD NOT EXCEPT THE LAST 4 NUMBERS ONLY. THE WOMAN THAT TOOK ME INTO THE BACK WAS VERY COLD AND TOLD ME IF I DID NOT PUT ALL MY SS# I WOULD NOT BE TREATED. SHE THEN TOLD ME IT WOULD BE $79 FOR X-RAYS AND AN EXAM, BUT IF I NEEDED A SPECIAL CLEANING THE $79 WOULD ONLY COVER THAT AND NONE OF THE CLEANING. EVEN IF THEY DID WHAT THEY ADVERTISED ON FB THE $79 SPECIAL, I WOULD NOT HAVE ALLOWED THIS WOMAN TO DO ANYTHING TO ME, WITH HER PERSONALITY. SO THEY GET YOU IN THERE WITH A GIMMICK MAKING YOU THINK YOU WILL GET ALL 3, THEN TELL YOU, YOU MAY ONLY GET 2 FOR THE SAME PRICE. ALSO HE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE DENTIST I HAVE GONE TO IN ALTAMONTE. WANTING $1600 FOR ONE CROWN. NOT AN IMPLANT, A CROWN. CROWNS RUN FROM $850 TO $1200 AT THE MOST. IF YOUR RICH AND YOU DO NOT MIND UNFRIENDLY DENTAL ASSISTANTS YOU MAY WANT TO GO HERE. I HAVE NO IDEA IF HE IS A GOOD DENTIST. I DO KNOW HE IS NOT HONEST WITH HIS SPECIALS.

Experiencia negativa: First and last time for me. Welcome customer offer at 79 $ included cleaning teeth. I ask them by phone if for remove calculus tartar its included they say yes. I take one appointement. They exam me take radio but dont clean my teeth. Purpose me 5 visits at 440 $ each. 2200 $ for do this! I never see that! In one visit at 100$ the job is done with another dentist ! I just lost 79 $

The staff is friendly and very helpful, and as a second-generation dentist, Dr. Behner is up on all of the latest innovations in modern dentistry. I’m happy to have found them, and now I will be the one making referrals to them.

Experiencia negativa: I went to this place because of all the raving reviews. My family needed a dentist and everyone seemed to speak well of them. This is just my personal experience. Their x-ray process is absolutely primitive. Biting down on plastic chips that injure your gums is not even close to the modern techniques that exist today for obtaining x-rays. It was painful and miserable, especially when we had to repeat spots in the mouth. The assistant that did my cleaning had no sensibility in her teeth and so I guess she thought everyone else was the same way. I was in absolute pain afterwards. I was given a survey that asked the question "do you want our best service?" WHO ASKS THAT??? YOU ALWAYS GIVE THE BEST SERVICE, PERIDO. It really kicked in when I saw them charge $700 to my insurance, and I still had to go back TWICE to pay an additional amount totaling to $80. For my next appointment I went to a different dentist and got charged a fraction of the price and they had much better x-rays and much better care.
