They teeth aren’t in the best shape because I haven’t had insurance for some time, however they did not shame me for that. They were completely understanding. This office is an hour away from my home but luckily for me they had an opening and got me in today. I will be returning. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Ali, Dr Egwuagu, and the dental assistant (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) made this experience so easy for me. Thank you.

The smallest things like telling me to bite the x-ray device slowly and putting back my chair when I started gagging during the molding meant more to me than you think! They checked on me when I said I was anxious and gave me a discount on my replacement retainers!

This is a review under my real name and that is for a reason. I want them to remember my name. When I’m done I will be back to tell my story. This place should be shutdown. I’m seeking others who have had dental work done by this place that they thought was unnecessary. I cannot say what all I’m doing on the back end but this is a awful place for dental care and I plan to hold them 100% accountable for what I am enduring, after almost 2y old unnecessary work done to my teeth. BTW owner you’re here thanking ppl, means you have plenty of time to vet new employees. With the complaints here of the rude staff at the front desk and their inability to answer the phones and not text patients, you should be vetting replacements but I know you’re ignoring it as you only care about Medicaid payments. Your front desk staff is rude and acts as if she doesn’t like people. She is on the internet or her phone while ppl call and get no answer. I stood at the desk after driving there from Elkridge because no one was answering, called the office while standing at the front desk and she didn’t pick up the phone. In her face I asked her why are you not answering the phone I’m standing here calling…very unprofessional on your part. They should not be texting anyone. If they accidentally text someone’s information or the wrong person that’s HIPPA policy violations. You hang on sir/ma’am for the ride because it’s one coming.

I was referred here by someone and I will take my business elsewhere since customer service is horrible. I want to speak to a live rep not text! Do better from a professional standpoint.

The wait time is normally within 15 minutes upon arrival and the hygienist and/or dentist are always compassionate and gentle from start to finish. Experiencia negativa: The dentist herself is great! The receptionist is very rude and ignores/screens my calls when trying to relay a message to the dentist in emergency, I don't think happened. I've had an issue with this a few times in emergency situation and the customer service is not helpful in that aspect. There needs to be better communication and assistance.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible experience with "smile R Us Dentistry" the staff and team at Dental Smiles are friendly. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe and calm. The receptionist was very friendly, and the doctor and her assistant are very professional in their work. They explain every procedure they are going to perform and what you need, and they are always looking out for the best for your oral health.

Experiencia fantástica: Today I went in to get a tooth pulled en size it was so painful. I was under the impression that I would be put to sleep. I was told I had to get several extraction (8 to be exact). My anxiety and nervous was on 100000000 because I had the worse experience at a dentist appt before. Dr. Adaobi and the assistant was very patient with me, kept me calm, let me cry my poor eyes out without judgement, took time with me and let me know all the steps as they was doing them. Assistant let me hold her hand through the whole procedure. I can’t remember her name, I never felt more comfortable with being in the dentist. I really really appreciate both of them. Experiencia fantástica: I was traumatized from previous dentists and I vowed to never go back to the dentist until recently. I had a toothache so bad that it woke me out of my sleep. I googled dental offices and found Smiles R Us. I am so glad I did. Dr. Adobi and her assistants are AMAZING! From the time I walked in the door, to the time I left, they were gentle and caring. I had to have quite a bit of work done and Dr. Adobi talked me through the entire process. Now I’m looking forward to going regularly.

Experiencia negativa: I previously left a five star review a few years ago however, my feelings for this place has changed now. My Bite is still off and I told Dr. Adovie 3 months ago after fill in was fixed, I was told I should leave it alone or she would need to refer me to a ortho. I let her know there was nothing wrong with teeth sensitivity. Just a bite was really still off. Now it’s been after 3 months and I’m trying get have her call me or refer me to somewhere else like an ortho honestly, I’m afraid and don’t trust her judgment any longer. I just want my bite to be fixed and afraid if I go to a new place, they won’t know where the fill was in the first placed.

I have a serious phobia of dentist but she makes me feel so comfortable. She’s hand down the best dentist that I’ve been to! They’re going to get sick of me because I’ve referred so many people to her lol Updated on 7/2/2025 : Dr Vannon has left the location and is no longer working there (she’s been gone for almost a year now) and now they are charging for services that are covered by your insurance! If my insurance company covers extractions then why do I have to pay an additional $200 fee?! I called the insurance company and they said to call back and ask for the code they were billing me under. No one answered the phone. They sent a text message which is very unprofessional for a business. They also said there would be a charge of $300 for an extraction before and once I got there and called my insurance company they said don’t worry about the fee. I never paid a fee for any extractions. Why does the amount fluctuate from $300-$200? Not to mention I got dry spot for the first time ever from that extraction. Was one of the worse experiences ever! Updated on 7/23/2025 I got a denial letter from my insurance company FULLY EXPLAINING what the fee was for and why it was denied. All the dentist had to do was say it was for a collagen plug or bone sculpture or explain it in layman terms being as though I am not in the dental field. That’s not what happened! Furthermore I needed an oral surgeon. I do understand that some dentist can perform oral surgery work. None of this was communicated. Now don’t get it wrong, she is phenomenal at her craft. She could probably have explained it better that’s all. I just paid $100 fee for a dental collagen plug so the issue was not paying I just wanted to know what I was paying for. My insurance covers the surgery just not the plug or bone grafting. The oral surgeon accessed my tooth first. Then he let me know if I needed the bone grafting in which I didn’t because I didn’t lose too much bone tissue then it would be $300 for the bone grafting. Bone grafting is not always necessary, it depends on each individual. Simple and clear communication is what I understand. Oh I almost forgot to mention that she did a dental bridge in my mouth and she did a phenomenal job. From picking the shade of tooth to filing it down to get the bite right, she did very good. I would definitely recommend her for dental cosmetic procedures.

Experiencia negativa: I had a problem with them a year or so ago when I came in for a cleaning/filling and somehow came out with a crack in my tooth. I let it slide because they fixed it with a subsequent appointment. This time I had to practically fight them over the phone to book an appointment outside of my regular cleaning schedule, because I had a concern. If they don’t think your health insurance will authorize it, they won’t even try. A wast of time!

All of the ladies kept asking how I was feeling and the doctor said let’s just get the easy stuff done today. The doctor is so quick and efficient when she deals with her patients. Experiencia fantástica: Needed a new dentist and wanted somewhere close to my home ; I googled affordable, 5 star dental offices. Smiles for Us came up and I decided to give them a try. I called to make an appointment which was absolutely painless. Upon my arrival to the office the was immediately greeted by the reception desk, my wait was short and I was then seen by the staff who took my Xray ect. I was put I. A room for the dentist who was very attentive and compassionate. She constantly checked on my comfort level and explained each step. My visit was efficient and painless. I will be returning and referring family & friends.

Experiencia negativa: Visit September 17 I AM GIVING THIS PLACE 0 out 5 stars. No regard to patient safety. The risk of virus/bacterica spreading. During my visit the dentist kept switching between two patients during my tooth fillings procedure. I thought this unsanitary. To keep switching back and forward between people mouths is nasty. The amount of virus and bacteria I could’ve due to the dentist neglect. This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The dentist seem stress and rush even though it was 2 hours before closing. I will not come back. I recommend anyone reading not to visit this place because patient safety is not first.

They made sure my insurance covered it before they confirmed my appointment. Through the entire process, my oral surgeon has been gentle and patient, which is especially helpful since I have a very small mouth and, apparently, tiny teeth! I've had everything done, except for the permanent crowns, which is in 2 weeks. Once my surgeon understood that I need way more novocaine than most people (& it wears off a LOT faster; ama redhead), she always made sure that I was stull numb before she proceeded. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone!!

My first visit there were two great women at the front who literally relieved my anxiety the moment I walked in. Last week I went in and there was someone new instead who was not nearly as nice or kind. In fact, she was actually kind of rude and offputting. Made it feel like I was bothering her by just being there. Very disappointed in the recent changes. Glad to see Dr Adobe is still there though, she is a great doctor who deserves a better front reception staff as the person now will scare away patients.
