Experiencia fantástica: All the staff were friendly, professional and so helpful. Several things were done that demonstrated a special expertise in their field. I so appreciate them. The dentist was amazing. AND this was for periodontal work! Additional work was done as part of having dentures. Teeth extractions were done. Topical anesthesia was used first. Not all dentists do that. Then the anesthia was administered. The dental assistant, Anna, stood by me the whole time. If I felt anxious at all she patted me lightly on my arm. I felt calm immediately. She was always attentive and has the therapeutic touch. Dr. Horsley is an exceptionally excellent dentist and periodontist. I appreciate him and his staff of down to earth, caring professionals so much. I highly recommend Harvest Dental. After years of not going to a dentist they made me feel comfortable. They also listened to what I had to say.

Dentist visits are not my favorite past time but today was so pleasant and friendly and the staff all worked together to be sure every patient was dealt with as quickly as possible and with professional care. Takes the worry and stress out of the situation! Have a very heavy schedule and an emergency tooth problem was taken care of immediately. Staff and dentist are most accommodating for all needs. No pain at all!

Friendlyness is there but not too much. As in, "Let me be your dentist and friend!" Lol. So Im glad they keep it professional.

They did a fantastic job of presenting my treatment options clearly, and once we chose a plan, they jumped right in to take care of me. I ended up needing an extraction for a stubborn molar, and the procedure went very smoothly. If you're looking for an efficient and caring dental team, I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: If you’ve had a bad experience elsewhere, go to Harvest Dental. I had not been to the dentist in a while and kept putting it off because my teeth kept getting worse and I was afraid of being shamed and belittled. There was NONE of that here. The staff was very kind and understanding and made a very approachable treatment plan. When I had a few more questions at checkout, the front desk staff was also very knowledgeable on any questions I had about the treatment plan and pricing. The staff here is amazing and I actually look forward to my upcoming dental appointment!

Experiencia negativa: Be Aware:  When my husband called and asked if Harvest Dental accepted Dental insurance, they said "yes" and with the confidence that they were in contract with our insurance, my husband made a dental appointment for me.  When we were billed for the services, the amount seemed extremely excessive.  My husband called our Insurance company and was informed that Harvest Dental was not an "In Network" provider, so, while our insurance would pay for the amount of services provided based on their own fee schedule, the balance had to be borne by us. Harvest Dental should have explained that while they accepted our insurance they were not subject to the fee caps set by our insurance, thus allowing them to charge whatever they want with the patient paying for the balance. In reviewing the reviews below, it appears that this is a common practice at this location as it allows them to earn higher fees at their patient's expense, which I believe is very deceptive.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Horsley and Nicole were amazing. I dread the dentist and was having an issue with a root canal I had got from a chain dentist two years ago. Everywhere I went was charging significantly higher and was not wanting to just pull the tooth and instead sell me on different options. Dr Horsley and Nicole listened to my complaints and took my health and well being as a priority. I’ve never had a painless dentist visit in my life but can say after my visit yesterday with Harvest that I have now had a painless visit. The next day of having my tooth pulled and still no pain! I would recommend Harvest to anyone. I now have a Dentist office I won’t dread going to any longer! 10/10 on everything!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Horsley is so nice and he does excellent work. All his staff is so friendly and so helpful. His office is located across from Brookshires in Farmersville and it's always nice and clean. I thought, but hoped not, that I might need a root canal. Dr Horsley thinks I just may have hit it with my top teeth and it got a little sensitive so he ground it down some so it doesn't have excess pressure on it and I'll wait a while to see if it calms back down to normal. Yay!!!! Thank you Dr. Horsley.

Experiencia fantástica: New patient, emergency situation. Got me in quickly (within an hour) and spent a couple of hrs in the chair on a friday. The staff, from the front desk to the assistants, to the dentist himself were so kind and attentive making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I received a temporary front tooth that looks and feels just as good (or better) as the one I lost as I wait for a permanent one to be made that if you told me it was the permanent one, I'd be happy with it. I am very fortunate to have stumbled into this office. I highly recomend them. A dentist that cares with a staff to match!

They have always treated me like family, listened to me, answered questions & helped me in making the right decisions in the dental work I’ve had done. I chose to have a bridge awhile back, it’s been great. Just this week, I chose to have another one, as I lost a front tooth. They immediately got me into the office and started on it, making a temporary for me! I’m thankful that they are so concerned, patient & understanding. They really take great care of their patients, as I have witnessed firsthand! Thanks Guys for all you do. I highly recommend them, they are great!

I was at a point where I haven't been in a long time due to both anxiety and embarrassment but I wasn't made to feel that way at all. Hopefully I found a place where I can rebuild my dental health whilst not being afraid. Staff was exceptionally nice as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in a lot of pain and found Harvest through a Google search. When I called, they told me to come in and said they’d do their best to work me in because they knew I was hurting. I didn’t have to wait long at all once I arrived. The dental staff were all very friendly and helped ease my anxiety—I usually get pretty nervous at the dentist. Dr. Horsley and his team were amazing. They got me in quickly, were upfront about out-of-pocket costs and treatment options, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions. They treated my pain, gave me a plan for the next steps and sent me on my way feeling better. Bonus points for the beautifully decorated office. It added to the overall comforting atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown come off over the weekend. Called Harvest Dental when they opened Tuesday morning. They created a space for me this morning. Everyone there was very kind and efficient. I was presented with two options for treatment. No high pressure tactics. Answered all my questions with patience. Dr. Horsley was able to take care of everything I needed in one visit. They did a great job and I can eat Thanksgiving dinner! I highly recommend Dr. Horsley and Harvest Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm new to the Farmersville area. Also ,only have been living in TX a year now. I was looking for a dental practice that wasn't in a strip mall or a chain office. Harvest dental is what I consider to be a family practice dental office. The staff is very attentive and professional. Now, I'm not a fan of dental work ,is anyone? But, my experience here was a very good one. I wasn't "white knuckles" during the procedure. Doctor gave me breaks during the process when I needed them. The staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend Harvest dental!!

The paperwork was online and easy to take care of from my phone. The automated service reminder and day of instructions were top notch. Met with the Dr. and discussed options for a tooth, ended up having an extraction same day. The Dr. and staff were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The bedside manner was fantastic. I can’t recommend this group enough. Thank you for taking care of everything so efficiently and pleasantly. You are one of the best I have been to.

Experiencia negativa: Going to the dentist used to be a pleasant experience until my dental hygienist moved to a different office. Since then I have had more negative experiences than positive. I will say that there are good hygienists at harvest dental but I have had bad experiences with others. I do not trust either of these dentists as they have performed procedures and did not listen to me telling them I needed to take a break due to the pain. This dental office has made me anxious about dental work and I will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I have always hated going to the dentist due to a child trauma that happened at a dentist , but when I walked into harvest dental all my fear went away the staff is amazing and work very well with my work schedule to get me in. Also they are amazing because I had one my tooth hurting so bad that I was in tear they got me in that day and got me taken care of.

Experiencia negativa: This office will state that you accept your insurance then charge you because they do not. I have been going around and around with them for months on being told they were in my network and they should only be charging my plan for my preventive cleanings and not me. My insurance paid $147 and they are still billing me for $250. Please do not use this Dentist if you do not want to be charged an outrages amount.
