Experiencia negativa: I had been debating doing this review for a couple days. I've been coming to this dentist office for a few years and have always been so impressed. The staff has always been so welcoming and I was always treated with so much care and I genuinely was getting over my fear of dentist appointments because of the quality of care I had received here. That was all undone with my last appointment. I have never been so manhandled by a dental hygienist before. Water and saliva everywhere, tools not being used and my lips just being pulled around by somebody's fingers that smelled like stale cigarettes. The entire thing was so rushed and so messy, I didn't feel like I was treated like a person at almost any point. There's definitely more I could say here, this entire appointment was genuinely terrible. I might never go back to this office.

I've found that this dentist office strives to bring only necessary procedures and cost to their patients, which is refreshing! I've had dental practices do the opposite!!

Experiencia fantástica: My appointment was to prepare for a future implant. It was really interesting to see my mouth rendered in 3D on the computer screen. The hygienist who had done the scanning did some preliminary color matching for the implant color to match my real teeth. I appreciated the time she took to get the right color and that she was willing to get another set of eyes to help confirm her choice.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient here for over 10 years. I think they have changed ownership or something because things have changed. I’ve been having issues with my appointments. I will make them months in advance and then they call shortly before the appointments and try to change them, I like to get me and my husband in at the same time and I found out today. They have been charging my insurance for a deep cleaning. I have not had a deep cleaning in years when they normally do a deep cleaning they only do half of the mouth at a time when I get my teeth cleaned. I’m in with an exam and I’m out with my teeth clean and today she wanted half the payment which my insurance covers a cleaning 100% I even called them when I got home and they said yes we covered that 100% a deep cleaning we only do 50%. I have not had a deep cleaning in over eight years so it sounds to me like they were lying to my insurance company time to find a new dentist. This place is horrible. The staff in the front is horrible. I like the dentist and the hygienist, but not the ladies in the front.

Experiencia negativa: I’m a new patient and went in for an exam and teeth cleaning. I barely got through the x-ray phase because I was man handled so roughly the roof of my mouth was bleeding. The dental hygienist was very cold and clinical. She kept digging into my gums so much , I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to stop and leave. They rescheduled for another date with a different hygienist; to think my husband warned me about how he was roughly treated. I don’t know if I will return- I don’t think so.

Experiencia negativa: Great service, communication is not great. I had a tooth pulled yesterday, I was told the extraction is a little over 400, I said ok. After that I came out to the front and I came out to the front. The price apparently changed, it was alittle over 650.00 , they said ohh it was the exam and something else. Didn't disclose the other fee's.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m not typically one to leave reviews but this dentist office deserves all the hype! I was experiencing tooth pain, called for an appointment, and they got me in the next day. They greeted me with friendly smiles, the check in process was quick and easy. I believe the hygienist’s name was Rachel and she is truly one of a kind. She eased my nerves, was mindful of my pain/ sensitivity during my cleaning, was friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! You can tell she loves what she does. Her positive energy is contagious! Dr. Messah is, by far, the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. He quickly and efficiently came up with a plan, took his time to explain the processes, and answered all my questions in an easily digestible way. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this practice!

Experiencia negativa: Update.. They told me I had a small cavity on the back of one of my front teeth but I just had an appointment with another dentist office and they did not see a cavity there. This place is ridiculous. Friendly people, seems to be good service and dental work but be prepared to pay about 50% more for not having dental insurance. $11,123 bill while I had insurance even though the insurance wouldn’t cover any part of it went up to $17,859 when I told them I no longer had insurance. IfI joined their “dental club” and paid an annual fee, the cost would be $13,441

Experiencia negativa: Not very great at discussing prices. Went in for pain, was told needed root canal and crown and was gonna be 1550$ I thought it was steep but did it, they could not finish the process and had to reschedule for another time, the day before my next appointment I get the bill breakdown and it’s now 3500$!!! And that was never discussed with me whatsoever. They’re saying it’s how much the crown costs added with the root canal. Again I would have never even started the process if I was originally told it was gonna be that price, and for them to be so shady and try snaking in that extra price more then doubling the cost I cancelled and will not be going back

Experiencia fantástica: Struggling with dental visit apprehension, Bickford Family Dental Care was highly recommended to me by one of their patients who has been seeing them for years. Self conscious about the changes to my mouth after surgery to eradicate an extremely rare form of cancer, the staff at BFDC put me at immediate ease. I was met with compassion, patience and respect. The appointment was so lovely, from start to finish, that I actually wept from gratitude on the way home.

Just had my temporary crown put on yesterday… they have a patient for life. Excellent, caring, gentle, prompt care.

They made a clear effort to understand my anxiety, and even welcomed my partner to come along as my support person, which meant the world to me. Now I’m here for my second visit, and they recognized me and greeted me by name before I even checked in. That level of care and attention is so rare. I was in so much pain I cannot even imagine how I made the call and navigated the Internet to find a dentist. But, Bickford got me right in and understood how I was feeling, and immediately got me feeling better so I could make a decision about what to do moving forward. When I was in that much pain I don't think I could have even held a conversation, let alone made any decisions for myself. All costs were told to me upfront, due to me not having insurance, and they had a few different ways to handle the process. Which I appreciated greatly! They are patient with him, understanding, kind, they dont talk down to him or treat him like he is beneath them, and he loves it there. Rachel is the hygienist he sees and we will go to her every time because she is just WONDERFUL! I cannot say enough good things about this place, honestly. We had tried another clinic in Lake Stevens before this place, and they claim they are special needs friendly but they really are not......this place absolutely is though and I am SO glad that we left the other place and came here! It was a night and day different, really. Thank you to the staff at Bickford Family Dental! My client is actually excited to come here when its time (but, of course, he is happy to leave once he is tired of sitting in the chair with his mouth open for a bit, but I promise that its nothing personal....he is just ready to go at that point haha!)

Experiencia fantástica: I am staying in Washington with my grandkids for the summer, I have all on 4 implants for over 11 years, done in California, the bottom jaw came loose, didn’t know what to do, (it is hard to have a dental office repair implants that they didn’t do) so reading reviews about dentist in the area , my daughter found Dr Messeh and told me to go there, sure enough, called Monday morning, had an appointment next day, the Dr and Brook his assistant were extremely nice, professional, and caring, repaired it , reasonable price, and walked out happy. Again, if you do have implants done somewhere else, and you happen to have a problem, call them first,,,thank you Dr Messeh and Brooks ,

Experiencia fantástica: I found this clinic almost by accident after I moved to the area. I was a bit skeptical as I had had several bad experiences with other dental clinics. However, I love this place. All of the staff make you feel like you matter. They are always warm and welcoming and talk to you like a friend. You're seen as a whole person here not just a mouth lol. They were also able to squeeze my husband in for a same day appt before he had ever been there because he was in so much pain that he'd been up for 3 full days. They made time for him and got him the treatment he needed. We could not be more grateful.
