Experiencia negativa: This place is a joke. They had us waiting for too long although it was appointment based had but had sit on a chair, NOT in a waiting room but already checked in sitting on a dental chair for an hour, and only when I had to walk up to the front desk and ask if I had to wait any longer while Dr. Choi operating on other patient, chatting in foreign language and finally decided to pay visit to our room with his grumpy face expression avoiding eye contact, showing his incompetence right away when asked basic questions. A cold hearted (soulless) dentist with very cold approach to kids when they’re scared because of his lack of skills on how to work with them, absolutely no emotions whatsoever from this Temu quality Dr as if they are some kind of lab rats. This Temu quality dental with his Temu quality conduct totally ignored my concerns. Stay the heck away from this place unless you want to be treated poorly by this level of incompetency and end up with the painful trauma for you or your kids. It was 4 teeth to work after X-ray scans but then changed to 6 without proper explanation when confronted. Seemed very strange and fraudulent which needs some relevant authorities to review this facility very closely. After getting a second opinion from other places will have to inform IDFPR – Board of Dentistry if this Temu quality place is found deceptive

While I appreciate both positive and negative feedback from my patients, I feel that I have to respond to your feedback with correct information in detail.
All patients (including walk-in urgent cares) were seated in the chair in the order of their presence. Your appointment was at 9am, but you showed up late for your appointment, and you did NOT wait for an hour. The next patient was seated on the chair at 9:45am.
You mentioned about my multilingual ability to provide dental services different patients from various backgrounds and culture. I do NOT understand why you have an issue with it.
This was his 3rd visit getting his cavities fixed, and the previous appointments were successfully completed. I understand the dental anxiety, I can proudly say that I treat all my patients with patience and caring. I strongly believe that is why and how your son was able to get multiple teeth fixed by my dental care already. He simply asked if he had to get a shot again, and the ONLY and ALL I said was "yes, bud." Then you started calling me "DUDE," with using "F***" word.
I never avoided the eye contact. I literally pulled up the Xray and about to start the treatment. I didn't even touch his mouth yet because he was in tears, which I understood. There was absolutely no cursing or blaming on you or your child, and why did you have to show aggressive behavior and foul language in front of your young child, my staffs, and other patients?
You also mentioned that "I changed to multiple cavities." All his Xrays were reviewed and explained at his first visit, and YOU made 3 appointments for all his cavities. This appointment was made in December last year by YOU.
Feel free to report to any authorities and IDFPR because the clinical and radiographic findings on his cavities were very obvious.
I hope that Iskender can find a place to get his other cavities fixed in a timely manner.

There have been many walk-in urgent care patients which recently caused delays and unexpected longer waiting.
I do NOT see 4 patients at once. There may recall check-up/exam and follow up patients, but I provide dental treatments to 1 patient at a time.
I am never stressed at work because I love my career and truly enjoy practicing dentistry.

After we start going to him my kids had no cavities. Any emergency they take you same day if they have spots available. Dr. Woo is a great Dr. I had went to many dentist & they wanted to pull my wisdom tooth but I wasn’t comfortable because they wanted to give me surgery. Dr. Woo made me feel so comfortable explained the process & I let him pull my wisdom tooth. I didn’t have any problems @ all. My whole family comes here. Everyone in the clinic is so friendly & nice. Experiencia fantástica: Personal experience with Dr.choi, nothing but good experience with him. My kids love how gentle and kind he is to them. He takes its time to adress any questions or concerns that we might have. Also, the front desk is very nice and so are the dentist hygienist. He is up to date with equipment and knowledge. I drive 40 mins just to come to him because out of many that my kids have tried before this dental office is absolutely their most favorite.

Experiencia negativa: LATER EDIT. As usual, they don’t admit their mistake, don’t even see us as patients in their system, even though Doctor Choi was the my kids doctor, in 2022-2023. Horrible dishonest company. Worst place. Used to be called shining smiles, they are fraudulos company. They claimed to repair all my kids teeth, although we didn’t do any work at their office, beside regular cleaning. Then ,when we did need to repair a tooth for my daughter, they couldn’t find any time for us. Called multiple times to clean my kids records, so we can actually repair the tooth through insurance, didn’t do anything. Stay away, worst doctor and management.

Experiencia negativa: Very bad experience. We came for filling with my son 6 years old. My son is not afraid of dentist but after today’s experience he will be afraid. Doctor Choi was very aggressive screaming at my son to open his mouth wider. He was trying but because of anesthesia it was hard for him. Then very aggressively put bite block. After couple minutes of drilling, the bite block moved and my son was complaining that it hurts and start moving. Doctor was screaming again to not move and he start crying and moving even more but doctor didn’t stop drilling and cut his cheek. I don’t understand why don’t you stop drilling if you see the kid keeps moving . So we end up with antibiotic because of the cut and work not done. Today is the 5th day with swollen and pus cheeck. Unacceptable!!!

Your son was NOT cooperative at all from the beginning. He kept kicking the chair, the assistant, and Dr. Choi even before the anesthesia was given. Due to his aggressive behavior and non-cooperation, it was recommended that your son see a specialist who can offer the general anesthesia for his dental care; however, it was you who insisted and asked Dr. Choi to take care of his cavities.
During the injection, your son kept biting Dr. Choi's finger and moved his head. It caused Dr. Choi severe bruises and cut with bleeding on his fingers, and he still tried to help him out. There was absolutely no yelling from anybody but your son.
Dr. Choi again recommended that your son see a specialist, but YOU asked him to still take care of your son's cavities.
The bite block was to help him keep his mouth open AND not bite on other people's fingers. Dr. Choi was taking his time with the cavity drilling because your son kept spitting out the bite block. Your son also kept moving your head that Dr. Choi had his thumb drilled by an accident. Dr. Choi stopped the drill immediately every time when your son was moving, but it takes a few seconds for the drill to be completely stopped.
He strongly informed that your son will get injured if he moves his head around and that you take him to a specialist. But YOU continued to ask Dr. Choi to continue the dental treatment. At good will, Dr. Choi did his best to offer a dental care for your son, but he again kept yelling and moving his head which caused a big injury as warned before. After multiple times of your son's aggressive non-cooperation which caused severe injuries to both Dr. Choi and his staff, Dr. Choi decided to stop his service to your son.
When there is such a lack of your son's cooperation and aggressive behavior, Dr. Choi can't do so much.
We are sorry to hear that your son is suffering pain, and Dr. Choi and his staffs are also suffering from the injuries because of your son's aggressive behavior and non-cooperation. If you would like to discuss this matter more, feel free to call the office.

I called this location, and they were very caring and did everything they could to aid me in my situation, and fit me in as quickly as possible. The Office is very clean, and looks amazing! Experiencia fantástica: Everyone here is great! I love Dr Choi. After many years of dealing with my bad, mismatched crowns, he was the first dentist to come up with a plan to fix my smile. I swear I cried at that appointment bc I finally had hope I will be able to smile without embarrassment. 1 crown down, 2 more to go! Maggie was wonderful today too! Oh and I love that they raffle off pretty large Prizes . Last visit I won a set of two electric toothbrushes. This visit it’s a projector. I hope my insurance covers this place forever!
