Patient and thorough, and didn't want me to get anything done that I didn't need done, which I appreciated. His assistant Susan was a first-class gem. I have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, but she was so warm and so funny and so comforting! She definitely took the edge off and was very supportive during my procedure. I was quite impressed with both of them and appreciated their bedside manner. A+!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rebecca Rogers and everyone at Yellow Springs Dental. For years, I avoided the dentist due to severe dental trauma and anxiety. A bad experience with a childhood dentist resulted in serious complications, including an abscess that landed me in the hospital, and over the years more negative experiences only deepened my fear. I became incredibly embarrassed and ashamed of my smile and honestly never thought I would feel comfortable in a dental office again. Dr. Rebecca Rogers changed that for me. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, heard, understood, and completely free of judgment. She took the time to reassure me that her goal was truly to help me, and for the first time in years, I believed it. Every single person in the office has treated me with kindness, patience, and compassion. They consistently make sure I am comfortable and informed every step of the way. Not only have they already made a huge difference in my dental health, but they have also made a huge emotional impact on my life. I recently had one of the best cleanings I’ve ever experienced because they prioritized my comfort the entire time, and I already feel a million times better. I also have a wedding coming up, and Dr. Rogers has gone above and beyond to create a personalized plan to help me feel proud of my smile by my wedding day. For the first time in a very long time, I feel like there is truly a light at the end of the tunnel. I never thought I would have confidence in my smile again, and now I finally believe that’s possible. This experience has even impacted my family in such a positive way by motivating me to prioritize dental health and hygiene for my children as well. That means more to me than I can even put into words. If you are someone who has dental anxiety, trauma, embarrassment, or fear, please know that when they say they genuinely want to help you achieve a smile you’re proud of, they truly mean it. Dr. Rebecca Rogers has changed my life in ways I never expected, and I will forever be grateful.

The entire process was smooth and easy from check-in to my cleaning. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the office itself was clean, comfortable, and professional. I also really appreciate their help with transferring over my Invisalign trays and helping me finish out my last sets. That made the transition so much easier and was incredibly helpful. Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I are happy with our experience with Dr. Johns. Our initial dental exam was exceptionally thorough. Dr. Johns took a lot of time with the cleaning and examination of our teeth and explained clearly any procedures that were necessary for our oral health. The digitized images point clearly to areas of concern and discussion so that all procedures are clearly shared and understood by the patient. The office staff is very knowledgable and helpful, especially in dealing with dental insurance.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been getting my teeth cleaned here for 2 years now. I just had my first cavity filling done as an adult and the numbing injection was genuinely completely painless. The doctors here have worked hard to perfect making these shots painless and I seriously wasn't even sure if he was giving me a shot or not, that's how easy it was!! The facilities are clean, the staff recognize me by face as I walk in, everyone is kind and accommodating, and the building is even nicer after their recent renovations. No one likes going to the dentist but I will gladly trust everyone here with my tooth care for years to come!

I just switched to Yellow Springs Dental in Frederick, MD. I have to say I am very happy I switched. Dr. Rebecca Rogers has been very thorough in her review of my dental situation. I have a mouth full of fillings, crowns, and implants and have quite a bit more work to do. I also have a great deal of anxiety over past painful experiences. Dr. Rogers had to start with a tooth that needed a crown from a previous dental situation. Dr. Rogers and her team did my crown today. She told me I would feel no pain, and she was 100% correct. Dr. Rogers explained each step along the way, and she and her team were careful and professional throughout. I highly recommend Dr. Rebecca Rogers and her team.

I made the appointment because I was planning on going . I even took off work for a few hours to make the appointment. I didn’t cancel my appointment they took it upon themselves to cancel my appointment without notifying me that they did that. They only care about money and I wish zero stars was an option. Be careful of places that have these type of shady practices.

Dr Maples correctly assessed the issue, and I was referred to a root canal specialist for the issue. I’ve had only good experiences with the practice and the staff is also very friendly.

I was quite impressed with how efficient both the dental hygienist(Stephanie) and Dr. Maples were. They took their time and didn’t rush. I really like the feel of a smaller practice as I didn’t feel like I was on an assembly line. I think I’ve found my dental “home” and that brings me peace of mind:)

I needed to find a new dentist due to my former provider dropping my dental insurance. Experiencia fantástica: I am a new patient this year. I had a great first impression of the practice, from the front desk to meeting Dr. Maples. Kudos to dentals asssitant Michelle and Susan, who gave me a series of X-rays, with great patient education.. both told me what they were doing and what came next. A cleaning with hygienist Heather was also great, who took extra time to remove stray cement that was adhering to my teeth from a recent crown from my last dentist. At the reception desk I had the same impression of Christine and her fellow receptionist. Everyone in this practice seems to love their work and it shows in their relationships with one another and with me, too.

I immediately felt comfortable and scheduled my appointment that day. During the procedure he assessed the situation as he went and was able to take a more conservative approach to save part of my tooth and save me money as well! I was worried about what they would find and judgement (after 10+years of never going). They are all super understanding. I mean ALL of them are fantastic, from the front desk staff, hygienists, and dentists. They broke down what needed to be done simply, took the time to make sure I was ok, and we took it one step at a time. I am beyond grateful for this amazing practice!!

Experiencia fantástica: As I look for any service (medical, restaurant, things to do, etc). I always look at reviews and then at pictures to see if I like how it look. I liked the reviews but was hesitant about “you know the look”. Because I like aesthetics and nice looking places Well, don’t judge this book by the cover. what can I tell you? I want them to be my BFF! First my daughter visited them like 2 weeks ago and she talk marvelously about them which she is not to highlight Drs visits like that. Then today I went for my first visit and I love ALL of them: from the secretaries, to the dentist assistant and the dentist. All of them are excellent. You can tell they know what they are doing, and they explain every detail of the process to the T. Their equipment look advanced compared to other places that I have been around here in Frederick. Great experience overall.

I’ve had a fair amount of dental work with Dr. Maples in the past two years and I have to say he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Given I’m 65- years old, I’ve certainly experienced quite a few dentist in my lifetime, so please don't take my assessment of Dr. Maple’s lightly. Also, my previous dental hygienist was Stephanie. Unfortunately, she left the practice recently to have a baby. Stephanie was so awesome, I was extremely disappointed she decided not to return, BUT I had my first cleaning appointment with Gloriann today and I was pleasantly surprised that she was awesome too! It’s become quite evident, this dental practice is top notch, so if you’re not happy your current dental practice, this is the place you should consider.

When my daughter had an orthodontic need that was emergent, they gladly scheduled us for that day and took care of her issue quickly. The staff was so professional and friendly. Experiencia fantástica: New review: This staff is just incredible. From reception. To assistants. To doctors. I wa very nervous about getting my extra wisdom tooth pulled. And the staff were light hearted making me feel at home, right away. They asked if I was ok. They explained step by step. Etc. the day after I have some significant swelling and pain. Dr. Maples called in amoxicillin and a pain tablet to take so I could get some sleep. And then today. I sent them images from my swelling. And he personally reached out to tell me it was expected. And that is a characteristic that is hard to find. I am a home health nurse. I too, respond to my patients any day or night if they need me. So that shows his compassion and care. They are just amazing there. I have been using this office since I was a year old. So just around 31 years now. Amazing staff. Fantastic doctors. Clean office and environment. Friendly. Really fantastic. I grew up in the court next to the office. I would walk over for my appointments. Spent much quality time there learning the ropes, observing, I really loved/love it. My only “concern”- is regarding my occlusal guards. I’m not sure if it was my insurances fault for the wrong quote or what exactly happened. But, I know how expensive they are- however when running against my insurance I was quoted around 100 dollars. So I had the guards made. Several months later, yesterday, I found out that I have an outstanding balance because the insurance did not pay as much as what they thought. Over 380 extra. I would not have gotten the guards. I have 3 kids. I’m a nurse. And with daycare and everything I do not have extra money to spend. So today, my daughter needed her loose tooth pulled and found out we had to pay almost 500 dollars before they pulled it. So again, This is nothing against the office but I wish I would have known the true cost because I would have held off on the guards. :(

I had a terribly painful infected tooth that I couldn't deal with any longer, I reached out to them and they fit me in that day, and got rid of my tooth for me. I was in a ton of pain, and very very nervous, and the staff went above and beyond making me as comfortable as possible, even getting me a blanket, and holding my hand . I can't give enough praise to these wonderful people!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been so happy with each dental visit I’ve had. Starting the invisalign process at the age of 57 is a bit daunting. Lol. But, Dr. Maples always asks if I have any questions or concerns. Susan is a sweetheart and makes sure I’m at ease. Every visit has been a good one. I have no more nerves when I head to the dentist. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Maples is an AMAZING numb-er!! Novacaine is PAINLESS at his hands! He is always willing to explain procedures and the work is top tier. Dr. Maples and the hygienists are SO GENTLE AND CARING. This goes for the entire staff, too, all delightful and kind. Even at the dentist, you are at ease from the people that work here from receptionists, hygienists and dentists.

They put you in a relaxing environment and have a very good use of communicating and tell you everything up front and are very considerate of what choices I make and they have a great plan to use if you do not have insurance. I recommend this office that are asking about what dentist they should go to.

Experiencia negativa: After going to this practice for 15 yrs. I was told all my teeth should be pulled and all my teeth were to cap them all. Well it didn't happen. The dentist ricky rodgers said he was stepping away. Costing me 6000 for teeth extentions which no one else would support.
