Experiencia negativa: ⭐️ 1 Star — I would stay away. I had a very disappointing experience with Monroe Dental. During my first root canal procedure, the device being used broke during the procedure. I was told they did not have another one available and that the dentist could continue working with it. Less than a year later, the tooth became infected and was found to be cracked. I also had another root canal on an upper molar that resulted in serious complications involving my sinus area. CT scans later showed the extent of the infection and sinus involvement. I ended up dealing with a major infection that required additional treatment. I am extremely frustrated with the outcome, the complications, and the additional pain, time, and expense this caused. Patients trust dental professionals with their health, and my experience did not meet the level of care I expected. Based on my experience, I would stay away and recommend doing thorough research before choosing this office.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t know what happened to this practice. I used them for years but now you can’t get through on the phone and it takes days to get a call back. The wait in-office is absolutely unacceptable- 45 min to an hour to be seen, and then you get a student dentist. There are so many people working in the office and no one seems to know what they are doing.

Experiencia negativa: They are great with the pain management ill give them that which was a big reason why i came back, but not only they left a broken drill bit in my tooth they made me come in cause i tried to make an appointment for a broken crown and instead of confirming with the insurance they made me come in just to tell me the insurance wont cover it when they could have easily just told me over the phone!! I live in buffalo, ny so i spent $200 on a trip that could have easily been avoided with the first phone call i dont think ill be coming back to them anymore they lost my trust as a patient!! Very angry with my situation!!

Special thanks to the receptionist Trinity, and scheduling secretary Dahli, they went above and beyond to get the scheduling to work for me. Dr Diamond was super nice and kind to my daughter. Shoutout to Gilda for being a sweetheart. Will update more after my daughters root canal appointment.

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY FROM THUS PLACE They take the D-students to come and get experience on their patients that have no knowledge who treats them and when you go back to your next visit because you have pain that dentist doesn't work there anymore since he butchered someone's teeth that's what my wife has and she's in pain for months and when she goes In for checkup they said that's how it has to be it takes time to heal now when she switched dentist they couldn't believe what damage they did to her teeth And all these EXTRA things they tell you to do what insurance doesn't cover is because its not necessary to do and it's just a way for them to enrich them self STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The staff is extremely nasty and unhelpful, and there is zero professionalism. I felt completely disrespected the entire time. I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth my root canal went. Extremely professional, calm, and skilled. The staff was great as well. If you’re nervous about dental work, this is the place to go. Experiencia negativa: I was there for a root canal and they put in a bite piece in my mouth which is designed for little kids and they kept it in my mouth for 3 hours with 1 break after 2 hours and I got an infection on my lips I cant open my mouth to eat even a sandwich the last few days I hope they will change it like all other dentists with a light bite piece from paper for adults

Experiencia negativa: I had a scheduled appointment for Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 9:30am. I was informed at the last minute, that your staff made an error and scheduled the appointment two days earlier than they should have due to it falling outside of insurance guidelines. As patients we rely on your staff to appropriately schedule appointments. At this time I had one appointment canceled and now an appointment scheduled outside of insurance guidelines. Due to this error in scheduling I am losing a day of work tomorrow and we are at your days end while the matter remains unresolved. I am a very disappointed customer right now. Their place is clean but they take no accountability for their errors. Their clerical, assistants and hygienist staff are good and their dentist are mostly fresh out of school. I had a crown done and have had nothing but problems with it. I had to revisit the crown on about four occasions. I realized when it was too late that I was dealing with an inexperienced dentist. The assistant at the time of the original crown visit hinted with concern as the work was being done. The dentist kept calling for his supervisor to validate his work in steps. Very dental school like. I saw that dentist at least three times and experienced his growth in confidence which validated his lack of experience during my first visit. My crown recently came loose again. I made an appointment to revisit it and was met by yet another very young dentist. He put excessive twisting pressure on a fragile post and broke off the crown post. He shrugged if off and said that it was destined to break anyway. I looked up the process for removal and his process was not as described. The process he should have use in this matter is gently trying to remove it or cutting it if necessary. He used the process of pulling a tooth not removing a crown. Now I need oral surgery and an implant with no recourse to his inexperience.

Experiencia fantástica: 5+ stars! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with kindness! This is not a typical dental practice. Everyone is so kind and pleasant, you forget why you’re there. Ashley, my dental hygienist, was so thorough, gentle, educational…funny! Dr. Jay, Dr. Lowey and Dahli were so professional yet down to earth. I didn’t feel intimidated and was free to ask questions. I left the office feeling cared for:). I would definitely recommend this office!

Experiencia negativa: “Terrible communication – appointment canceled unfairly” I’m very disappointed with the communication at this office. Their phone system is extremely unprofessional — it only rings for a few seconds and then goes straight to voicemail with no option for a call-back or to hold in a queue. They rarely, if ever, answer the phone or respond to texts. I had an appointment scheduled, but since I wasn’t able to answer their confirmation call, they canceled it. In between each of their calls, I tried calling back but never got an answer. When they finally texted that my appointment was canceled, I even tried calling 12 times in a row with no response. I had been waiting for this appointment for a while, so this was especially frustrating and unacceptable. Patients deserve better reliability and communication.

Experiencia negativa: Please try to find a reliable dentist! Not Monroe they screw you up! My experience with this dental practice was deeply unsatisfactory. I had an appointment specifically to address one tooth, but without any prior communication, the focus was shifted to another tooth. Despite my clear request to work on the original tooth of concern, the dentist insisted on addressing a different issue, claiming a crown was necessary when I had anticipated only a filling. So they gave me less time, when I asked them please address what we discussed they said that they can’t because they don’t have enough time after we they themselves cut the time. Disgusting! This dismissive attitude and lack of transparency left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a patient. Such disregard for patient input is unacceptable, and I would caution others about their approach to patient care.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly i used to love them... but lately they just got some BAD attitude! Everyone the nurses and the dentists all with frowns.. making me feel as if im forcing them to be there.. i went for an emergency appointment and dentist told me i need root canal, i was a bit confused because literally every time i go they produce new root canals for me. I asked him very respectful how does it make sense? He answered; well whos fault is it? Its not mine, its your fault.... Really now im not interested to go to the dentist and get blames for having a cavity...

If you need a typical cleaning maybe, but if you need real work do yourself a favor and stay away, except if you are ready to lose your teeth.

Experiencia negativa: While the treatment getting there is very good but It's very frustrating when you get an appointment for 2 kids traveling 45min and finding out after 2 hrs sitting there that one of them was canceled without notifying, Then they said they will accommodate and gave me a 12:15 appointment for a different day even though they only do fillings after 1, They send a confirmation and a few reminders for the 12:15, Then a day before they text to confirm apt for 12:45 I asked what happened so they replied to apologize and it is for 12:15 A few min later somone called that unfortunately they can't see him before 1, Very unprofessional!

Experiencia fantástica: Well the experience started with my cleaning with my Hygienist Ashley she’s amazing so outstanding above and beyond, makes you feel comfortable as a patient who doesn’t like the dentist, Very professional with her service precise and caring make sure you schedule your appointments and cleanings. I had a few filling to get done welp that I was like nervous and scared about that as I’m not a dentist person as I’ve had bad experiences with a person with TMJ -Temporomandibular joint which is in your jaw. She made me feel so confident it would be fine. Had My filling appointment with Dr Diament let me tell you one dentist that I would recommend I honest upfront didn’t feel anything so professional understanding he’s one dentist makes you feel comfortable . I think it was the first time I walked out of the dentist office smiling and not upset, as he’s so understanding he’s so kind hearted for sure. As an a patient with TMJ, along with his assistant Vanessa she was very nice polite understanding. I would see Dr Diament Every 3 months and get a cleaning if my insurance approved and paid just to be sure no cavities cause he’s so professional and understanding of the fear and people don’t like the dentist. Monroe dental was the only place that took her in immediately, did an evaluation, and removed all 4 wisdom teeth the very next day. That same night my daughter was eating, drinking, and talking without issue. I highly recommend Monroe Dental for their understanding, compassion, cleanliness, and quick attention to detail. They did an awesome job ! I highly recommend them ! Thank you.

When I needed a root canal during Covid and had to go to the Middletown location. When they had to do renovations and were in Pomona, and now back in Monroe while I needed all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Each employee there has always lead with kindness, empathy and funny too. My mouth feels brand new and I learned some new things as well about oral health care in general. 10 out of 10 would recommend coming to Monroe Dental Group for this dynamic duo! I also want to thank the manager Nila for getting me in last minute and accommodating my schedule. I seen Dr.Loewy and he was just great. Professional and answered all my questions without the fluff, which I like. He addressed my concerns and didn’t try to over sell me on anything. Experiencia fantástica: I went to Monroe Dental for a second opinion and they exceeded my expectations. The dentist, Dr Heller was so professional and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. The office is exceptionally clean and modern. I’m terribly afraid of the dentist but they made me feel calm and comfortable. Even the dental assistant was amazing and helped me relax and feel calm. So I now have a new dental office and it’s Monroe Dental. I highly recommend. Oh, and I can’t forget the young lady who cleaned and I mean really cleaned my teeth, excellent job and ease my nerves and did an excellent job. Highly Recommended!!!

What an amazing person she was so friendly and explained every step of the way the things she would be doing during my visit. She immediately made me feel comfortable because for me no visit to the dentist is a walk in the park. She truly is an asset to this office and after my visit I thanked her and couldn’t wait to get my teeth cleaned again. Experiencia fantástica: I just went for a standard cleaning and had been dealing with some sensitivity with teeth and gums. My hygienist, Ashley took such great care of me! I felt no pain at all, and am leaving feeling much better than before I walked in! She made me feel comfortable and conversed with me the whole time so I wasn't focused on the sensitive parts. Will be continuing my treatment with this Dental Group! Very satisfied!
