Experiencia negativa: We tried to get my teeth pulled for personal reasons, we missed a date for a day to go over prices and what they would do. They ended up never answering our calls and "dismissed" us because we missed an oppointment. We called 3 different times on different days too.

Already have all the feeling back in my mouth almost and it’s been 4.5 hours. Experiencia fantástica: Like most people, I hate going to the dentist. It's even worse when you've got to get a tooth pulled and even worse than that is getting a wisdom tooth pulled. And while I am not looking to get any more teeth pulled, if I had to do it again I would definitely go here again. Dr. Ahmed and his assistants were awesome and the tooth was removed with ease. The only thing I needed to take for the pain was a single 600mg ibuprofen. After that I was fine. I attribute that to a job well done.

Experiencia fantástica: As someone with a panic disorder, I was tremendously worried about it my appointment for the extraction of three wisdom teeth. Upon arrival, I was surrounded by welcoming nurses and an understanding surgeon. Overall, I have no memory of the surgery, I just know that I felt like I was in good hands the entire visit. As someone who is afraid of IVs, my surgeon placed it in my arm, said that the anesthetic would sedate me slowly with no further explanation. After that, I remember nothing. The team members at Auburn Oral Surgery and Implant Center are absolutely wonderful, and made something dreadful into a painless process. Will forever recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an ordeal with my regular dental office that resulted in the worst toothache in my life. At 8:00am it was decided the only relief I was going to have was an extraction. I was referred to Auburn Oral Surgery. Luckily, the office staff managed to get me in a few hours later. Everyone was so kind and made it a good experience. Dr Ahmed is so skilled I wasn’t even sure the tooth was out until I realized a stitch was being put in. The dental assistant and everyone else in the office is amazing and the best part is I’m not in horrible pain anymore. Experiencia negativa: Update: The implant procedure went wrong, and I had to have one of the two implants removed, while the other remains an empty gap. I feel embarrassed about the gap between my teeth and am also suffering from pain caused by the damaged nerve. Dr. Ahmed insists he did nothing wrong and is trying to portray me as a rude person in response to my comments here. The tingling pain and the feeling of muscle tightness between my teeth are still very much the same, with no improvement at all. I consulted with other oral surgeons and dentists, and they said that in this condition, it’s impossible to proceed with a new implant. They also mentioned that once a nerve is damaged, it is very difficult to recover. Wouldn’t a doctor with even the slightest sense of conscience apologize and at least offer a refund? I’m still so angry that I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because of it. --------------------------------------------- I do not recommend this place at all. I had the worst experience here. The local anesthesia injection was so painful I almost cried. The dentist was rude and seems like he doesn't care about people. After the anesthesia wore off, I noticed something was wrong. He said I'd be fine over time but I am still suffering from nerve damage.

Experiencia fantástica: I had all my wisdom teeth removed here including an extra retained baby tooth. My experience was wonderful everyone was very kind! During my procedure my fiancé was allowed to be with me until the IV catheter was placed. I am terrified of needles, and of corse was feeling dizzy and off when the needle hit my skin. The surgical assistant (Debra) who was super sweet and kind had me lay back, got cold cloths to place on my head and kept me talking to distract me. By the time I knew it Dr. Ahmed placed the catheter first try, and gave the sedation. It felt like 5minutes then I was done in the recovery area back with my fiance! Everything is healing great and I was given medication to keep me comfortable during the healing process.

Experiencia negativa: I was referred here for the extraction of a badly infected molar that was causing a great deal of pain. When the young doctor came in, he never introduced himself, but his demeanor was initially friendly. He looked at the X-rays and the tooth, agreeing that it needed to come out, before noticing that I had checked the box on their admission forms indicating I had high blood pressure. When he asked about this, I told him that, on my last visit to a doctor, i was told my blood pressure was slightly elevated, and I should keep an eye on it, but that I wasn't anywhere near the point of needing medication to regulate it. None of that mattered to the doctor. He went on to lecture me about how there's no excuse for me not to have health insurance (despite being part of a large percentage of the population that doesn't qualify for subsidized insurance, and can't afford any other plan). Beyond that, he warned of all the potentially dire (non-dental) health risks related to high blood pressure, and when I expressed that I was there about a tooth, his condescending response was that "the tooth is part of the body", and that since I wasn't taking care of my body, he wouldn't be able to extract my tooth unless I started taking medication to lower my blood pressure. Upon getting home, I looked into what blood pressure is considered too high for dental procedures, and found that a reading of as low as 160/100 would be considered risky... far, far away from the 133/84 readings that apparently disqualified me from being treated here. In short, the unidentified doctor was rude, extremely condescending, unprofessional, and ignorant of the realities of health insurance. A place to avoid.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dentist was amazing. Difficult molar extraction with fractured root and it went so much better than I expected. No pain, and no issues with the healing process. Highly recommend this amazing Oral Surgery office!

Experiencia negativa: Nothing wrong with the dentist, billing procedures are less than honest and I withdrew from my treatment plan after finding more reasonable rates elsewhere. Buyer beware should you have good insurance. They will try and take you to the cleaners so to speak. Long story short I reckon I saved $2,000 by listening to my gut. Who charges $3,500 for 3 extractions with no sedation?

Experiencia fantástica: I'm 53 years old and never had my wisdom teeth removed. my dentist wanted some work done and referred me to the auburn oral. at first I wasn't planning to have anything done, but after the first visit to look over my teeth the doctor recommended only removing one that was causing me some issues. so I agreed to that. they really made the whole process easy. what was really great is that on the day of the extraction, I was still very nervous about the whole thing even though they had me numbed up very well. the assistant nurses were really great, even helping me to stay calm during the procedure. I never had any pain during or after the work. they really did such a great job. if I have any more work like that I would definitely come back.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife was in pain due to an infected wisdom tooth. Happened overnight. In the morning, we called a good amount of places and nobody had a spot available for an emergency appointment. The best we got was for the next day. Auburn Oral was the only place that had an appointment for the same day. I read some reviews here and yes, the surrounding areas are not pleasant to the eyes, and the clinic's structure is simple, but that was irrelevant for our experience. They did a really good job. The dentist asked my wife if she wanted to do the extraction or treat the infection first - which is the recommended procedure. She decided to treat the infection and came back later to do the extraction. Everyone was nice to her and she was in a seated position the entire time. The extraction was totally painless, she was amazed! There are no guarantees a wisdom tooth treatment will go this good for everyone, each case has its own thing, but we wanted to share our honest opinion about this place.

Experiencia negativa: I went there a year or so ago for a consultation they charged my insurance company $165 then they sent me a bill saying that they never got payment for the $165 and now they have sent this to a collection agency for something that they already got paid for They are trying to rip you off By getting paid from you and your insurance company stay away from this places.

Experiencia negativa: Had surgery in March of 2019. Procedure was my upper six front teeth to be extracted so I could be fitted for upper dentures. Here now January 24 2022 have a fractured palate not able to wear dentures ever since this procedure. Have nerve damage and have been put on disability. Beware of this surgeon he never told me of any complications this has been a nightmare of an experience. Still not sure what the future holds but just don't want anyone to have an experience I have .

I let the surgeon know I had anxiety about the procedure, and he told me I could go to a different place to have my teeth taken out. Did not try to reassure or comfort me as the patient in the slightest. Great staff HORRIBLE surgeon.

Experiencia fantástica: I got three of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Ahmed in September of 2021. I was very scared but Dr. Ahmed explained everything and was very clear and reassuring on the procedure. The nurses were very nice ( I wish I could remember specific names) and helped me during the procedure when I was scared. They gave me as much novocaine as I needed and didn’t feel anything at all and the procedure was done faster than I thought it would be. I was able to eat everything by the third day after extraction of my wisdom teeth and the stitches were very well done and came out after a week or two. There was very little bleeding after and the pain lasted only about a day or two without any medication. I would highly recommend this place for their kindness and efficiency and talent.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here to do full mouth extractions for immediate dentures , the Surgeon was absolutely phenomenal , I chose twilight sedation and it was a great choice , remember nothing . The surgeon was DR Layeeq Ahmed and I recommend him highly , he should have a bunch of five star reviews and I’m happy to be his first , too often good results from a bad situation ( having your teeth removed ) don’t result in the time taken to let others know the provider was awesome , he is . The two surgical tech Gal’s were top notch and the front desk went above and beyond as well , the initial quote was close to 4K and without me asking after the initial consult and speaking with the Surgeon they LOWERED the cost to a tad below 3k , when does that ever happen …never . I had minimal swelling and when I had a bleeding issue these good folks had me come right back and the surgeon got it to stop immediately , great all the way around !!.

Experiencia fantástica: Today I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted! This is something I have been putting off for more than 5 years due to horrible anxiety! I’ve made appointments in the past with other offices and never felt like I was in good hands and would always cancel day before until I found Auburn Oral on Google, my family has had all their wisdom teeth removed here, being older than I originally was when I planned on having them taken out way back when, my anxiety has gotten a little better, although I did bawl my eyes out upon sitting in the chair to finally have them out, they were so reassuring and all there for me, from the time I walked In (10 min) before my apt. The total process was about 40 minutes long - so I’m told by my boyfriend, I was sedated (also something that has scared me for a long time) and the dentist assured me all would go smooth and I was in great hands! He was right! They had me sedated as soon as they could and got right to work! I do not recommend anyone else but here! Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had for a what’s not supposed to be so pleasant experience! All my wisdom teeth were impacted and they all came out in one piece! It went better than originally expected! I’m so honored to have been able to see Auburn Oral for the removal of my teeth, I cannot recommend them enough! They were right there beside me to comfort me as I woke up until I was coherent and ready to get back on my feet. I don’t have insurance which is tough at most dentists but they did what they could to work with me and I appreciate that immensely! I am so thankful for such a wonderful, positive, painless experience! I am at the end my first day with them out I have no swelling, and barley any pain besides in one that originally hurt me previously due to the amount of gum surrounding it when I ate, I have been eating (normally) since mid - day today, soft foods and was even able to eat some soupy mashed potato’s and over cooked carrots, when I thought all I’d be able to stomach today was jello, absolutely no nausea at all, very grateful for such a smooth operation and recovery because of all the amazing staff at Auburn Oral! Thank you to Everyone! If you are scared about getting them out don’t Be! Just go and do it! The sooner the better! The sooner you go the sooner you don’t have to deal with it down the road! Experiencia negativa: I wish I was able to like this place, because it’s so close to my residence, and the office staff were so friendly! Unfortunately, I will not be getting my wisdom teeth removed here. The location plain and simple is horrible. It’s next to a really shady motel. I know this is something the staff cannot change, but it is a factor for me. Internally, the building and equipment were old. Instead of labels they used tape with pen writing on it to label cabinets. I wished it looked newer inside and actually someplace that I’d want surgery done. Lastly, but most importantly, I felt a huge disconnect and some rude behavior from the dental physician. Again, the office staff were fantastic, but the doctor who saw me confirmed my decision to never come here. He walked in my room without introducing himself, I didn’t know his name out of the two physicians who practice there. One of the first things he said to me was “why are you getting your wisdom teeth out now, you’re so old.” This made me feel uncomfortable. I understand medically, it’s preferred for wisdom teeth removal to be done before reaching adulthood, but I’m only 25. And that’s just not how you say or talk to patients. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me overall, and then walked me to schedule the oral surgery. I’m sorry, I have to mention this too- I called to cancel my appointment because it’s my choice to do, and I did feel uncomfortable. I get a call back from that doctor arguing with me about my feelings that he was rude. I mentioned, do I even have to explain to you why I don’t want to come here? And he said yes. Sorry, guy, I don’t need to argue with you about why I don’t want you to do surgery on me. That call back really confirmed my decision to not come here.

The doctor, and his assistant, made it a pain free and relaxing experience! No one 'wants' an extraction, yet I would go back any time. For those who suffer from 'Dental Anxiety' (like me); you will have no issues here. The office is easy to contact and will readily respond to email questions. BIG plus!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my wisdom teeth extracted a couple of weeks ago. I was beyond nervous and Dr. Azzouni reassured me everything was going to me okay. He had very good “bedside manner” and was very calming. He definitely is very knowledgeable and made me feel less nervous. The nurses and receptionists are wonderful as well. Every time I call, they are extremely nice and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs oral surgery!
