Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Davidson is a fantastic dentist! I have been with him for over 20 years. His knowledge of teeth, sinus problems, head aches and how to fix or prevent issues is incredible. He is constantly researching, learning and perfecting his craft. He made my first night guard years ago. Back then I was skeptical and would wear it sometimes, sometimes not. But now, with constant improvement through research, I have the perfect night guard. I wear it EVERY night and couldn’t imagine being without it. I sleep better, breathe better, don’t damage my teeth through clenching or grinding. I wish I would’ve had this night guard all my life. It would’ve saved me a lot of teeth trouble and money. My whole life I’ve had a tongue tie that I adapted to living with, but it always felt weird and tight and today at age 48 I trusted Dr. Burr to perform surgery to release it. It’s called a frenectomy. It was a big moment in my life and Dr. Burr saw me through. He’s encouraging and so amazing at everything he does. He’s been our family’s dentist and orthodontist for 10 years and he is number 1 in our book along with his kind and talented team!

Experiencia fantástica: Oh my goodness I can’t say enough good things about this dentist office!!! All 3 of the dentist here are amazing!! I’ve been seen by all 3 ,but I see Dr.Davidson as my dentist on a regular basis, and let me tell you he does disappoint !! He knows his stuff!!! He listens and genuinely cares how you feel and your worries and concerns !! I was hurt really bad at another dentist during a root canal making me very scared of the dentist!!! I would almost have full blown panic attacks before an appointment, or be in major tears at my app, but Dr.Davidson worked with me through this, he has been patient, understanding, makes sure I am fully numb and assures me there is no judgment at all if I need laughing gas or if I wanted to be fully sedated for routine cleanings!!!! The dentist that hurt me told me (when I complained of not being numb enough) that “there was NO WAY I COULD STILL FEEL ANYTHING” BUT I DID!!! Dr.Ronnie Davidson is the best dentist out there in my humble opinion, he really stays up on the latest info and the office has state of the art equipment also!!! The front staff is nice and caring and all the dental ass. and hygienist are also amazing, very sweet ladies!! The times that I saw Dr.Burr and Dr.Wilson (for minor issues I was having) didn’t disappoint either!! It really is like your family here!!! I would say switch providers today and experience what genuinely caring and kind looks like in a dentist!! Don’t let me forget they offer so much at this office too, standard dentistry, root canals, in office/same day crowns, extractions, teeth implants, braces, Invisalign (Dr.Burr is the orthodontist) Botox and more!!! I love this place and truly appreciate that I don’t have to worry if I’m going to be in pain and my experience be dismissed and/or not believed just bc I don’t have a doctorate in dentistry !!!!

Experiencia negativa: This dental office is not the caring place that it used to be. This office needs a class in customer service. The staff is argumentative and do not make you feel comfortable. Lots of new staff and this round of staff is also questionable. The office manager is rude. Arguing with a patient surely will not encourage them to return. I had to hang up on the office manager. You will not talk over me when I am the patient and expressing my concerns when you are triggered by your billing increases. Take responsibilty over your billing and not blame the insurance company. Your office increased fees in which you made it seem as though the insurance company paid less! No. I can read and I compared each line item. The staff is rough and you feel like you are in a boxing match with them. Unacceptable. Get a whole new admin staff, AGAIN. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS OFFICE. RESPONSE: You should read other reviews. Other previous patients feel the same. Please get training for your office manager. She is rude. Nobody wants to pay and receive rude behavior. Unprofessional.

For years, I have been working towards treatment and the final process of getting rid of some large cavities in my front teeth that left me in secure and not wanting to smile Dr. Davidson and his team today gave me my confidence back and the smile to be proud of. Tears of joy! From the very beginning this team has been nothing but supportive, loving, and , truly a blessing! Alex the assistant was absolutely incredible! Friendly, kind, gentle, and so reassuring. From the time I enter my appointment to the time I leave, the smiling faces and sincere care each staff member gives is remarkable. I could spend hours talking to the front desk, staff, especially Jill. I have been with this dentistry for many years and have watched them grow in evolve, and I’m proud to bring my family to them as well. Cannot thank them enough for the artistry and superior service they provide not just to me, but to and surrounding areas. Thank you Dr. Davidson for being the absolute best dentist! Experiencia negativa: Ugh. My crown has broken AGAIN. Second time in less than 5 years. This morning the receptionist told me that they’re only guaranteed for one year. With good oral hygiene, a crown that is seated properly should last at least 8-10 years.

Experiencia negativa: These are good dentists BUT you better have the ELITE insurance coverage. A patient for 15 years and the dropped my provider (company insurance/bank) from their network. My husband was with them for 20 years and they dropped his (Medicare supplement) and even told him to just go somewhere else. They don't tell you upfront if your insurance will cover the service. Guess that new building is more costly than they planned No one likes surprise bills!

Experiencia negativa: Long story short after pulling the remainder of my tooth out myself after my extraction (because nobody dared to be bothered during the holidays) I spoke with the practice manager who’s only solution was to write off my remaining $77 balance… only for me to receive a statement of $77 the very next week. This place is a HOT MESS, I’m disappointed because they used to be a wonderful office.

Sadly it took years and a dental emergency that quickly escalated into a medical emergency to see how truly disingenuous the doctor's and staff are. Truly, shame on you guys. You put my son's life in danger.

Dr. Davidson makes everything seem so easy and gentle. I'm really really happy I found Dr. D. He's very educational and such a nice person. Also the staff and the dental hygienists are so very caring and so nice. Last but not least I can't say enough about Jill. She's the best.

Experiencia negativa: We give them two stars as a positive thing as the office staff and technicians are terrific. They really care for the patients. The downside of the operation that cost them more stars from us are that we ALWAYS seem to have a balance due. We prepay for services as they estimate, but then it seems that they never get what they think they will from insurance. So, we go back six months later for a cleaning and get hit with an unexpected balance. Do better estimates or YOU should eat the shortages. We are also not happy with the Doctor always trying to sell the latest gadget or gizmo he dreamt up for our mouths.

The staff will offer you things outside of your routine cleaning and say “oh this is covered under your insurance” when it’s not and then you’re left going back and forth with billing staff at the front desk. After having to get a credit from them once, I should’ve learned my lesson but I will not be back again.

My dental hygienist Katherine was very patient, kind, and explained everything as the procedure progressed. Dr. Burr was very personable and took extra time out of his day to help calm my anxiety and made me feel very comfortable with everything. All in all it was the best experience I've had with a Dentist and his staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I woke up last Friday morning and have a very loose implanted tooth that was about 15 years old. I called the practice and found out they were closed. I got a hold of the on call dentist who put me in touch with my dentist, Dr. Wilson. The loose toot was causing much gum pain and I couldn't chew food on either side. Dr. Wilson was so kind. Even though the office was closed and he was 2 hours away I was able to meet him and his assistant Kim in the office that afternoon. When I arrived I was greeted with a big smile from Kim. I was taken back into the exam room and was greeted by Dr. Wilson. The did a phenomenal job and were friendly and professional. They both came in a their day off and opened the practice for me. Who does that? Dr. Wilson and Kim do. I can't recommend Dr. Wilson and his staff more. This is what it is all about., They will take good care of you and your family. 7 STARS

Experiencia fantástica: I can honestly say that I have never had such an amazing experience at any dental office until I went to Total Dental Care of Lake Norman. I had a sudden dental issue and called at 8:00am Tuesday morning to see if they had any openings. Dr Davidson fit me in at 10:00am, quickly diagnosed the problem and had a plan to resolve the issue. He took so much time to talk with me, explain everything and answer all of my questions. He is extremely knowledgable in his field and explained everything in such a clear and concise manner. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they scheduled me for Friday to fix the problem. On Friday, I showed up and had the operation done and what I found amazing is that the entire staff that worked on me stayed late in order to take care of me. They went above and beyond in so many aspects and I am definitely switching to them as my primary dental provider.

Experiencia negativa: I would never, ever, ever, recommend this dentist. I have two filling falling out after less than a year. Not only that, but they dont clean your teeth until youve gone through their specific "dental plan" meaning if you have one corner of your mouth untreated they wont do any cleaning. Even if you pay them for their monthly charge. This place sucks. Only saving grace is that the staff is great.

I have been suffering from vertigo, dizziness and headaches and was told by my doctors that it was allergies and I will probably have it all season. I then saw Dr. Davidson who said that it could be caused by my clinching and grinding and recommended a Nightguard guard. I have had night guards before but this one is awesome and made differently. The vertigo, dizziness and headaches are now gone and it’s still allergy season! So thankful!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Davidson removed my wisdom teeth years ago. I had 3 teeth to be removed. One had already been removed and I informed him of this. After putting me to sleep he proceeded to cut my gums open on the side where I had told him the tooth had already been removed leaving me with 4 holes in my mouth rather than 3. Needless to say I never went back.

I called 8am with screaming toothache and they told me to come in and they would fit me in. Not only did they fit me in they fixed my problem. Was very pleased with everyone in the office and happy they could fit me in such short notice. I was there for while but to be expected with them going out of there way to fit me in.

I've always been prone to cavities, so it was important to me to find an office that would ease my nerves, but also be proactive in my dental care. I'll spare the details, but several factors contributed to me needing extensive dental work done. Dr. Davidson and his staff have been so wonderful throughout this entire process. He knows more about overall effects of dental care than any dentist I’ve ever seen. I am so glad to have him as my dentist. So, yes, I'd definitely recommend going here. Update: I’ve since moved to Florida and am so sad to have to find a new dentist. I have seen so many doctors for chronic headaches over the years. He’s the only one to have fixed them, each time they crept back up. Best dentist. Hands down.

In their new location off Alcove Rd, they now have a state-of-the-art facility with a staff that knows how to use all the technology. It definitely makes a trip to the dentist more enjoyable and less painful. Don’t think I flinched once through a root canal.

But Dr. Burr was so calming and cool with her she was comfortable enough for him just to pull it with some numbing gel. He's got such a great bedside manner and is so great with kids. I am so thankful for him!

I am a Veteran and because the VA has a limited practice and a few dentist they are allowed to send us out in town to hdt the care we need, The first time they sent me to D&B I fell in love all the state of art equipment as well as Dr Davidson and his staff. He is so passionate and perfectionist about his work. Now I know NO one is perfect but Dr D will give 200% to get it close to perfect. I will never go anywhere else! Running late this morning due to traffic, I gave them my travel status in real time by text. They responded back by text quickly to update arrival time and confirm I was in route. Perfect! I love the efficiency and fast service and this is an awesome dental practice for someone with a busy schedule. Love you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm leaving a 5 star review solely for the ethics, professionalism, and kindness on the part of Dr. Davidson. He really goes above and beyond for his patients and will make sure your care is a priority. I cant recommend him enough. He is worth the drive from Charlotte. Now a warning. The office staff (Pandora in particular) is a very callous and rude individual. I was lied to on a number of occasions. Dr. Davidson himself told my husband his partials would be ready in 2-3 weeks. The weeks went by with no word so I called to touch base. Pandora said she had no idea who would have told me that because its a standard 4-6 weeks on partials. Well the doctor himself told me but ok we will wait. I call back in 6 weeks to follow up. Pandora behaved as if I was an annoyance. "Ma'am I told you last time we spoke we would call you when they are ready". No ma'am. You have a $1000 of my money and the least you can do is follow up with me if you can't meet the deadline you set for the products we have purchased". She then told me that "It was going to be 4-6 weeks but they now have a new vendor so plan on it being 12 weeks." At this point I knew I was being lied to and put off. They clearly dropped the ball somewhere and weren't taking responsibility. I called back the day of my husband's appointment to be fitted. After 12 weeks of waiting the partials were no good. The teeth wouldn't meet!! My husband still can't chew. I was terrified that it would be another 12 weeks of him having to suffer through soft foods only. So I called and asked to speak with Dr. Davidson directly and was told "He doesn't take calls. Would you like to speak with pandora?" "No ma'am I've have all the conversation with Pandora my temper will allow but thank you I'll wait". I was given excuses and pleaded with to leave a message. I refused and very politely told reception "I'm very patient, I don't want to take him away from someone else, and I'll be quite happy to sit on hold all day if necessary. Thank you." and I dug in for a long wait. It wasn't 5 minutes Dr. Davidson was to the phone and was very kind in listening to my story. He pulled up my husbands account and said he would personally oversee my husbands case from that day forward because there was no excuse for simple partials taking so long. I had to agree with him. Under his supervision our experience was wonderful, my husband was cared for in a timely manner and we were communicated with when it called for it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate his help. My husband was very miserable without the ability to chew for many weeks and thank goodness that is now over. I'm a very reasonable woman. I make mistakes in my own job and I understand that things happen. What I won't tolerate is being lied to and being made to feel like im a pest for calling to touch base once every few weeks. I hope that Dr. Davidson can make the necessary changes to his office so that they reflect his ethics and quality of care in the future. My husband and I had a long conversation about this and decided we will only continue to be patients there under the condition that we won't have to have any dealings with Pandora anymore. We can't trust her to be honest or make our care a priority. That being said I highly encourage anyone to use their service because they do amazing work and the doctors themselves are wonderful people. My husbands partials were fixed the same day and they have been very comfortable. Its a joy to see him able to enjoy the foods he loves again.

Everyone there is always friendly and the hygienists do excellent work. Their new facility (it’s only like a year old) is state of the art and just off the highway.
