Experiencia fantástica: i feel like this place should win an award for being the best dentist office i’ve ever experienced . every staff member is kind, understanding, reassuring & helpful. as someone who was terrible at taking care of their teeth half my life, i do not have good teeth, been to many dentist and just felt judged. props to every employee here, this is one of the few dentist who did not judge me & genuinely just wanted to help me fix my smile. this place has genuinely made me NOT dread my appointments (dare i say look forward to them!) after years and years of and experiences elsewhere and dental anxiety. they all make me feel at ease & constantly ask if im doing okay during any work being done from cleaning, to fillings to crowns being placed. dr. kelsey, all her assistants, and every other staff member in the building have been amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: My dentist retired after I've been treated there for about 30 years. I tried another dentist and had a completely unsuccessful experience. It was recommended I go to Zent family dentistry and I have been so pleased with the care I have received. Dr Sheena was so thorough and caring going over tooth by tooth during my first exam. I have been happy with the hygienists as well. I had to have a lower bridge implant done and I had it placed today. I didn't have to have any adjustments made to it at all. It fits like a glove I am so happy that I made the choice to go there and highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia negativa: Scheduled an appointment back in December. I sent them my insurance card on THREE separate occasions and had to continually call them back to confirm they received it. Two days before my appointment, they call to tell me that my insurance is not in their network (despite their website claiming that they accept all insurance). I spoke to Tina, who very rudely tried to blame a new employee even though I have spoken to multiple employees over the course of the past month. Overall, a massive waste of time.

But at Zent Family Dentistry, I actually look forward in to going for many reasons such as the extremely warm welcome as soon as you enter. On top of that it, I felt totally comfortable. Now that’s just by walking in. Once you check in at the desk, everyone that waits on you were extremely friendly, very helpful with any and all questions you may have and well knowledgeable in their fields of work. One in particular that stands out is, Stacy(I think it’s the correct spelling. If not my apologies) She is one of the most multi talented in tasks in a person that I’ve seen for some time. She answer questions, answers the phone and on top of it, she handles all the work with the VA with any and everything and she is on point in all categories too! The entire staff are the most professional which having you feeling totally comfortable and totally satisfied from their work! I almost don’t want to share how great they are because it will get out there and have everyone wanting to go. I kinda want them all to myself. Lol!

They pushed me to get my wisdom teeth removed when I didn’t necessarily need to, and they did not let me know I had maxed out my dental benefits for the year, so I had to pay for my routine cleaning out of pocket. I was told they generally let patients know if they’ve maxed their benefits out ahead of time, but if they do it doesn’t seem like a consistent process. Make sure you understand what you’re being charged for as they’re always trying to upsell you and our relentless. I told them I’m switching offices because they no longer take my insurance and four people tried to get me to stay.

But when our longtime dentist (who had truly become a friend) recommended Zent Family Dentistry, the prospect seemed manageable. And indeed, what a wonderful experience! Experiencia fantástica: Our whole family goes to Zent and we adore them for so many reasons! My daughter is 5 and during her first appointment she was so scared and opted to just watch her brother. They walked her through everything they were doing to familiarize her. Today the hygienist, Maddi, was INCREDIBLE! She made my daughter feel so safe and comfortable and seen! My daughter was ready to only have her teeth counted but Maddi was so brilliant and kind that my daughter felt ready and eager to say yes to each step and finished the whole cleaning! This is a huge deal and I'm so grateful! She is now eager to go back and see Maddi and loves the dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Dentist normally make me supper nervous but the people at Zent make the experience so nice. Everyone was gentle, patient and understanding with why I was so nervous. The receptionist with real curly hair was nothing but smiles and was helpful with my new patient paperwork. The doctor who went over my x-rays laid out a plan to get the work done that was necessary after that I got my teeth cleaned by such a nice lady, she talked through it the whole time and made sure at no point I was scared or in pain. Check out team was quick and nice as well!

The staff was also helpful and assisted in treating my husband who was in a wheelchair. I have never had a long wait time, and highly recommend this office to anyone! It is a pleasant atmosphere.

Experiencia negativa: If you enjoy be sold to during your entire visit, this is the dentist for you. They do not take no as an answer the first time either. Its like they are trained to keep selling until they hear no three times. Then when the dentist comes in the tech runs through all of the upsells and that you said no, as if to shame you for saying no. The worst dental experience Ive ever had. My husband went and had the same experience. They clearly see their patients as only a dollar sign. I could not wait to get out of the chair. No thanks. We will never go back.

Mrs. Zent came to greet me smiling from ear to ear and used the most gentle hands for examination. Anna, my Hygienist was equally as friendly and did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth! The cleanliness at this facility is unmatched! Everything that gets used immediately gets wiped down when done and the building still looks and smells brand new! The building is well decorated, even down to the exterior landscaping! Every procedure is thoroughly explained and they have updated modern technology to ensure the best quality is given to the patient. After 12 years of mediocre dentist experiences I finally found THE ONE! Thank you Zent Family Dentistry!!!

Experiencia positiva: Only open Monday through Wednesday 8:00 to 5:00 Thursdays 8:00 to 4:00. They could use more training for their denture technicians on how to properly do adjustments. They're friendly and knowledgeable and work very well with the VA and veterans.

I have no anxiety when I go there and everyone is so friendly. It’s refreshing to find a place where the “front office” is just as nice and knowledgeable as the “back office”. My kids also love going to Zent because they are always given special one on one attention and are always motivated and educated on how to take care of their teeth. It’s a great place for the whole family and worth every penny.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist I met with was very rude. Treated me as if I didn't know what was going on. I asked for a specific purpose to come in. I should have known - since I am a VA referred client that I would be treated less because of the VA's stellar job of referring people, but I digress... I asked for a specific issue and instead they made it very clear that they wanted to do everything other than said issue. The scheduler took over 3 weeks to get me in because they "didn't get the fax," yet; the VA sent me record of the fax that they sent. I called to advocate for myself, she apologized then told me that the information I had isn't worth me giving to her, until I told her that she could use the referral number as a way of getting the information needed. Checked in, the front desk was fine, introduced themselves to me and were quite cordial. The dental assistant called me back and walked me to the exam room. Then took 25 x-rays. The x-rays done in the room kept gagging me, it wasn't intentional, but was very uncomfortable. The dentist came in and tried to explain to me things - I told her that I understand what is happening because of my extensive dental history from birth complications. And that prompted the Dentist to change the influx in her voice to acting like I was stupid. I called her out on this and made it very clear that I did not appreciate the way that she was talking down to me. I told her that all I wanted was to get the one thing done that I needed and then I will be good. She told me that I would be in the chair for 6 hours or multiple visits, and I tried to explain that my work will not allow. Conversation ensued and I decided that this was not the fit for me. I told them that I was sorry that this isn't going to work. I am sure that they are overall a professional office, but everything I have expierenced from 6 weeks ago to now has been met with some kind of hurdle to jump through, either by the VA (who has been extremely helpful for this [not per norm]) or their office. Overall, I felt like the Dentist was trying to get more things done than I had initially asked for, and I did not apprecaite that.

I had gone to the same dentist back home for about 22 years and absolutely loved them, so my standards are really really high. I tried a different provider in town and was not impressed. I switched to Zent and was really impressed by my first appointment. Not only were they thorough and effective but they talk you through your photos/xrays and you both look together - I really appreciate that level of transparency. On top of great care, everyone was extremely nice and seemed to enjoy working there. It operated like a well-oiled machine and looked super clean inside. I will definitely be staying here until I move again.

When you pull into the very spacious parking lot you'll see a very attractive building they're located in. The first pleasant part of your appointment starts the second you walk in! The ladies behind the counter welcome you with great big smiles and super friendly "hello's!" And on occasion laughs!! The waiting area is extremely clean and comfortable. Your wait will not be long before your name is called and you're escorted to your room. Let me emphasize this, EVERYONE that works there is the nicest, most smiling, friendly team of experts I've ever had the pleasure of taking care of me. I guess I should say I'm a veteran. The VA sent me there for my dental issues. I'm always treated with great respect. Which in a veteran's world is usually unheard of. Dr. Zent definitely put together a special team of caring individuals. I'm sure tho, everyone not just vets are treated with the same amount of respect and professionalism. They are great at explaining whatever procedure or care you'll be getting that day. Everything is sterile, clean and comfortable. I actually fell asleep in the chair while they worked on me one visit. Embarrassed I was told "falling asleep is actually a compliment in the dental field!" I don't think the work I had was extensive but was much to get done. They welcomed the job at hand and executed it perfectly in my opinion. With each returning visit I was asked about my comfort from the visit before. Any issues was immediately cared for. Dr. Zent and those that worked on me constantly asked me how I felt and reinterated they wanted their work to be perfect or they would continue until I thought it was. Not what they thought was good enough but what I thought it would be. Again, attitudes we vets don't have the luxury of getting from many places. I should also mention. Right after my first couple visits I had a dental emergency over the weekend. I called the emergency number really early in the morning, it did not take long to get a call back from Dr. Zent. He handled my emergency over the phone with no problems. Honestly, I feel I could write all day about how fascinated I am by Zent Family Dentistry. If you need any dental work needed, they are the place to go to. I would love to name individuals that helped me but I'm afraid I will forget someone and would feel horrible for that. Just know, they all are special folks for the compassion and care they offer and give!! I'm confident and so, so happy with my smile again! Thanks to Dr Zent and his staff I can't stop smiling now! UPDATE.... something else I want to mention.. Dr Zent and his staff will fight for you (remember I'm a veteran so my case is different than those who aren't) to get all the dental care Ft Wayne is slow to approve. I'm not the only person that's saying that... AJ from the Ft Wayne community care said to me "Dr Zent, Becky and the rest of their staff will fight tooth and nail to get their veterans everything they need done" More and more reasons to love this place!! Another update! Almost three years later Dr Zent and his staff was able to get the VA to approve my dental implants doing all the work behind the phone all the way to the chair! My implants look perfect, feel great and look real and natural I love them! Martha was able to match the color to the T. It's great that they never gave up on the process or the work I needed. My confidence level is higher, my smile bigger and my options for foods I can eat again has expanded so much! I cannot thank Dr Zent and his staff for all the perfectly amazing work they've done! On a side note, my wife just absolutely loves them too!!

Experiencia positiva: The only drawback was that I had to wait about 20 minutes between my x-rays and the hygienist as she was backed up. However, she was very friendly, very thorough and Dr. Sheena was detailed in explaining issues with my teeth as well as answering my questions. I was really pleased with my visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really wonderful experience here. Everyone was so upbeat and friendly. They made me feel really welcome and like I had been there a hundred times. From beginning to end they explained everything to me in detail and always ensured they asked if I had any questions. The dentist was amazing and very knowledgeable. She really went into detail for every photo and image to make sure I understood what her recommendations and goals were for my dental care journey. I really appreciate the warm reception from everyone to the front desk secretary, the dental assistant, the hygienist, the dentist, and insurance specialist. To top it off I even got a thank you card at the end where each had personally signed and thanks me for my military service. Really well don't y'all.

They both make me feel comfortable and relaxed. They explain everything they are going to do so I am aware of what is going to happen. The last step is check out where you always see two smiling faces Stacie and Becky who will help you make your next appointment. I highly recommend this office if you are in need of any dental work.

Experiencia fantástica: I never knew what a good dentist was until yesterday. The team at Zent is hands-down fantastic! The receptionists, the hygienists, and Dr. Sheena were all amazing. They were super friendly and warm, and what I liked most is that they take the time to explain what they are going to do before they do it. The experience at other places is usually that the hygienists are nice and the doctor is professional but maybe not "friendly" or "warm". So BIG shout-out to Dr. Sheena who was professional, and warm and friendly! Also, hygienists Anna, and Valerie were just fabulous!
