Experiencia negativa: I had an extremely disappointing and painful experience at this dental office, and I feel obligated to warn others. I originally went in without any tooth pain and was told that I needed five new fillings. Trusting their judgment, I agreed. Two fillings were done on 12/11/2025, and the numbing was excessive—I remained numb for many hours afterward and had jaw pain that lasted several days. When I returned on 12/15/2025 for the remaining three fillings, I specifically told the dentist about the prolonged numbness from the previous visit. I was assured that I would be “numbed less this time.” Unfortunately, the opposite happened. The numbing was even worse—I could barely speak, and the numbness lasted over six hours again. Since those last three fillings, I have been unable to chew on the left side, and I’ve been experiencing ongoing pain and headaches. I am now in significantly worse condition than when I first walked in. What makes this situation completely unacceptable is the lack of care afterward. I called the office the same day at 3:40 PM to report the pain and was told someone would call me back. No one did. I had to call again the next morning, only to be told they could not fit me in and that I would have to wait two additional days to be seen—while I am in pain. I also have a newborn, so it is not realistic or reasonable to expect me to come in “any time” with no urgency shown on their part. It is unacceptable that I am in more pain now than before receiving treatment, and it is deeply concerning that the provider and office staff appear indifferent once complications arose. I have lost confidence that they will properly fix the issues they caused. I do not recommend this dental office to anyone. I truly wish I had sought care elsewhere, and I strongly encourage others to do the same.

Although I was only scheduled for a new patient visit, the hygenist asked the dentist if she could also do a cleaning. She knew I had over 2 years of medical problems and multiple surgeries and had been unable to go to the dentist. She was very gentle and caused no discomfort. I have had other hygienists who were rough and caused pain and bleeding. I am very satisfied with this dental office and would recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: The receptionist is very nice and friendly that's it. Dentist is not friendly and the work that she does is less than unacceptable. I've had them redo almost all of their work that has failed within months, sometimes weeks, or days. This work I was more less accused of not taking care of, blamed for the failure of and charged for the repair of. I believed it was my fault until I changed insurance and got another dentist who's work has held up for many years. My current dentist is familiar with the head dentist from South Bend Family Dental Care and didn't comment but shook (his/her) head in a negative way when I revealed who the work that needed totally redone was performed by. I've had family members with the exact same problems and now that we've all changed dentist offices we've seen major improvements with the durability of work. I'm convinced that she's doing shotty work that needs constant repair to boost revenue. My relative had a bridge fall out yesterday done by South Bend Family Dental Care and her new dentist was sickened by how the bridge was initially installed without posts causing the tooth to break because the tooth wasn't supported enough for a bridge not to mention the way the bridge was grinded on to be thin and not durable so likely to break and need repair/replaced for thousands of dollars. This is only one example I have many more. I've had all my fillings done here redone some of them multiple times if they were initially redone here, didn't have to keep redoing once a new dentist took over. 09/04/24

I have had traumatizing cleanings in the past, especially after it has been a while since my last one, but today was so good, even after a year! She was so gentle but thorough. Had great education and recommendations. To put it in perspective - I had to use a stress ball/fidget item every time at my previous dentist to tolerate it, but I barely had to use the one I brought today. Dr. Roberts was also very nice, gentle, and thorough - she discussed my scans in detail and even showed me specifically what they were seeing. Exceptional new patient visit! Looking forward to continuing my dental care here - which is saying something for me!

Experiencia fantástica: They originally scheduled my first new patient appointment for January and they called me in mid November to reschedule me for that week and gave me a few options that worked with my work schedule which was awesome. Both the Hygienist and the Dentist were very thorough and referred me to a surgeon so I can get my wisdom teeth taken out in the near future and created a plan for me to continue taking care of my teeth.

Explained exactly what she saw, what the plan was as and what to watch out for. She could have easily said more things were needed (who would really know) but she didn't. The dental assistant is kind and caring towards me. The dentist lady is also very professional and kind towards me which means a lot.
