Experiencia negativa: I have an exposed nerve and need my tooth extracted unfortunately. This has happened before, I know the procedure. I was told by Dr. T this could be done but would need to then fill the spot with bone after the extraction. I found out later that would cost over $2000, just to have a tooth removed! Then Dr. T was told I take a certain medication and he immediately said well we cannot do this. He gets all excited saying he could, like he has the capability, it would take 2 minutes, (although told in the beginning of the appointment my tooth would only be pulled if Dr “had time”) but would need to send me to an oral surgeon, conveniently he can send me to his person, so they can tell me that it’s okay to have my tooth removed. Umm what?? Then when I decline with tears in my eyes because I thought I was coming to get an extraction, I thought that’s what an emergency appointment would be, he dismissively says, I will call you in pain medication. I said I don’t want that and he actually questions me! I said it’s an exposed nerve, it needs covered the pain meds are not going to do it for me and now I’ve just read another review that there is a $50 fee to get the meds called in. That is hilarious, like is that even legal? I absolutely was turned off by Dr. T’s attitude. I’ve had cancer and take a bone med that is supposed to help with my bones and he says bc of this med that I take for “a bone disease or whatever” and extraction could cause something bc it was so close to the main nerve, although in the X-ray there looked to be plenty of space between the tooth and that large nerve. I’m not sure what he was even saying some of the time bc he was conveniently talking so fast but just his dismissive attitude was so yuck to me. He is the reason I’m not continuing to proceed with Aspen Dental. Well, and because I’m not trying to go to an oral surgeon and then back to him to get a tooth pulled. Still sitting here with tooth pain until I can find someone else but feel amazing about that bc I’m just so thankful I’m only out $29 from them, it sounds like it could have been worse!

Experiencia negativa: The staff in the office was wonderful but the dentist was rude, unwilling to listen, argued loudly with another client next to me while I was waiting for him, and then argued with me. I was looking at over $10k in dental work that needed to be done and wanted to make sure that my options were explained thoroughly. I walked out of this appointment due to his lack of professionalism and poor client care. BEWARE!

Experiencia negativa: Mo, Manny, & Ashley had excellent customer service.. very patient with me and explained my questions that I did have. BUT: my experience with Aspen was awful. I went for an appointment was told I had a wisdom tooth issue, it was an infection and I would need antibiotics and a light pain med. When it was time for me to check out I went to the desk and during that process I asked “Diana” did I have ANYTHING that needed to be paid, she told me “no, this was a comprehensive dental exam, it’s covered by your insurance there is no fee owed today”… and I LEAVE. 24hrs goes by I notice there is no antibiotics called into the pharmacy, I call Aspen THEN I was told in order to get my antibiotics filled I had to pay $50 to the dental office for them to call in my antibiotics. I called and spoke with Ashley, she explained to me that it is a charge to have your prescriptions sent to the pharmacy for you because it’s a “emergency visit” or something like that she explained I may not be using the right wording but, I then asked “Why was I NOT told this yesterday when I was here and I asked at check out did I owe anything?” I told her I thought that was weird to me because I’ve never been to a dentist office that sees you as a patient tells you that you need antibiotics then does not call them in because you must pay for the meds to be sent to the pharmacy. I called my insurance and found out Aspen is a big Money grab! How can you bill me for a “comprehensive exam” which is covered by insurance then say “well it’s a $50 charge for us to send your prescription”… SO I actually went to another dentist and took my Aspen records and expats that I got and what do you know, I was given ANTIBIOTICS, and a lighting med went to my pharmacy without a charge because I became a patient and as part of that appointment IT COMES WITH IT! Even the dentist went to couldn’t believe that even if that was case Aspen should have explained that and told me “THERE WILLBE A CHARGE TO HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS CALLED TO THE PHARMACY” he said he was confused why they are charging patients to get their meds called in, it’s something that comes with being a patient, he told me any provider that will send you home with a infection and want to charge you to have them simply e-scribe a prescription to a pharmacy is more about MONEY and not the care of the patient, and he was correct. I recommend NOBODY goes to aspen dental and the receptionist I spoke with was RUDE AND NASTY, she told me”stop yelling at me” and I literally was not I asked her a question and she KNEW what they were doing was BS as did not want to answer my question, she kept saying “stop screaming at me” and I LITERALLY was recording the call so my insurance could hear it when they told me “it’s a $50 charge for us to send your medication to pharmacy” and in that recording on my iPhone I did not yell at that lady NOT ONE TIME, she used that as an excuse to hang up on me 3x, when I called back the 4th time I got ASHLEY, she was very nice, respectful and pleasant. She don’t even belong there she should work elsewhere with nicer and more compassionate ppl like herself. On a scale of 1-10 Aspen gets a 1. I reported them to my Insurance and sent that recording as well. They can not be trusted.

I am very scared of doctors and dentist, the staff members made me feel at ease. The front desk staff is so knowledgeable about everything as well as if they're doctors too. I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled and another tooth infront of the wisdom tooth pulled too because of the damage it caused. Can't say enough how WARMING AND INVITING ALL THE SATFF MEMBERS ARE my experience was really good. Wanna get special thank to DIANA(operations lead), ASHLEY(patient care representative), MORGAN(Mo), and ESPECIALLY DR. TREHAN. Experiencia negativa: Edit bc I can’t respond, I have tried and tried to give them opportunities to fix this issue and the team there will Not work with me. I will NOT go back and pay more or allow my insurance to pay more for you to fix what should have been an issue in the first place! I only just paid off the 6k from care credit I should have never let them talk me into! Horrible experience. … Zero stars if I could. I know it’s been a while since I was in but I just found out from my new dentist that these incompetent dentists left half a tooth in my jawline. The last time I tried to make an appointment they gave my appointment away to someone else. They insisted they did not give me an appointment yet. I had the appointment reminder card in my hand and showed them and then they said oops sorry it was an error. I drove an hour to get there and they told me they made a mistake and gave my appointment away to somebody else, but if I wanted to wait until noon four hours away, I was welcome to wait. Give me a break. Your mistake but I have to pay for it. Ridiculous. They never did get my permanent dentures fitted properly. I can’t even close my mouth with them in. This hole hole in my gums, I thought was a sore from these temporary dentures ends up being an actual tooth you can see on the new x-ray. The entire roof is there and they just broke it off and left it! I don’t recommend them to anybody for anything. I have nothing bad to say about the hygienist except they told me they were giving me a toothbrush and it ended up causing me over $100. And that they would give me new heads there when I need them and I’ve never gotten a single one of them! Just save yourself the time and headaches and BS and just go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: It is now February and I still have not received my $1200 cash back. I have called their office multiple times. I was redirected to different people, and no one had an answer for me. I received a statement in the mail for a care credit card that I owed additional money. I had to send this credit card information to show that I had paid $1200 in cash And I didn’t owe anything because I never received any treatment for anything.I was a walk-in appointment and never received any care. At this point it will be the end of my review because I have decided to take them to court. Previously $1200 in “cash” and 2 months later of still waiting for my refund I find this Aspen Dental to be very callous to my individual needs. I require pre-medication and after calling their office several times to see why this had not been called in to CVS the day prior to my teeth extraction, I was pretty much fed a line of malarkey by a non-clinical person who basically dropped the ball and continued to play word salad with me for most of the day. I was told the dentist said I wasn’t a good candidate for premedication. I have MVP And I understand the consequences of having my teeth worked on without pre-medication. Finally I became so frustrated with the run around that I just cancelled the appointment. After calling repeatedly for my refund, since it was cash, each time I was transferred from person to person and ultimately I still do not have my refund. 2 months later and I still don’t have my refund of $1200 cash.
Experiencia negativa: Awful experience overall. I only chose this office because they’re open on weekends, and that turned out to be a mistake. I came in at 9am for a routine cleaning. I was there for two hours, and for the last 45 minutes I was just sitting around waiting to check out. No explanation, no urgency, just wasted time. To make it worse, I never even got the cleaning done as it was already 11am and the hygienist already had a patient. Instead, by the end of the visit I was told I’d need to pay $2,600 for a “critical” procedure and that I must do that before they would even perform a basic cleaning. It felt like a bait-and-switch: schedule a routine cleaning, spend hours there, then get hit with a huge bill and sent home without the service you came for. Extremely frustrating. I won’t be coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Aspen Dental was very good. Everyone was friendly and very professional. They kept me informed about every aspect of my procedure.
Experiencia negativa: tl;dr: Aspen dental upsells and will unethically remove your teeth in order to force you to do much more invasive procedures. I had 3 teeth pulled here and when I went to the faculty at IU (IU School of Dentistry), they found so many things wrong with what had been done at Aspen, including the fact that these teeth did not have to be removed. Removing them would have netted them a lot of money (over 20K) if I did all my work there. After having a lot of work here during 2019, I began to go to the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. Aspen gave me a 23,000 treatment plan. When I looked it over, it included a 500 tooth brush. I have a son-in-law who is a dentist (he joined the family after this), but I do know upselling in dentistry is a thing. This felt more like a business transaction. In addition, they pulled three of my teeth because this gives them the opportunity to do more of restorative process which includes implants, crowns, etc., i.e., it puts a lot more money in their pockets. I asked if there was an intervening procedures that would allow my teeth to be saved. They said "no." When I went to Indy, where you are overseen by the faculty and have student dentists working on you (no upselling), they saw the X-rays and were so confused about my teeth removal. They also showed me a number of problems with my dental work with Aspen. We had to redo all of it. Thankfully, it is a lot cheaper because it's a school. But Aspen absolutely robbed my teeth.
Experiencia fantástica: Maribel Quintero Help me feel very much at ease when I came in today to talk to them about my tooth problem we got to the end and I sat down with her at the desk. She explained to me everything and what they had to do on what part that I had to pay out-of-pocket, I was really upset at first, but she put me really at ease. She walked me through the credit procedures, and I left and came right back, and I felt comfortable paying my copayment and she got me in the same day to get my tooth extracted. I’m so sore but you know what she is a hell of a lady and they really need to keep her and the lady that was in there with me during the procedure her name is I believe it’s Cynthia with Dr. T. He is an excellent dentist and I felt so much at ease. I felt no pain. I’m doing much better and God bless those two ladies in the office he needs to keep them. They deserve raises both of them.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to this location many times and this is by far the best visit I’ve experienced. Morgan (Mo) did an excellent job of taking caring or me through and through. I had to get X-rays; an examination and a bridge prep and Mo was there throughout to make sure the procedures went flawless and make sure I was comfortable and understood what to expect each step of the way. She also set me with Manny to get a cleaning and a whitening today which was awesome because it saved me a trip as I am a small business owner and extremely busy. Thank you Mo! You rock! I would also like to give thanks to- Ashley for welcoming me when I got there and getting me checked in and back right away. Cynthia for helping during my initial exam (she has worked on me in the past and always does a great job) Maribel for helping me understand my costs and although I paid over 3k for the visit she almost made it painless to fork over the cash, almost, lol. Dr. Trehan for making it painless as possible and getting it over fast with and the bridge prep went super smooth. Manny for being able to get me in same day for the cleaning and whitening and I am extremely satisfied with how it turned out. Thank you Mo and Aspen Dental!!

Experiencia negativa: They promptly got me in for my "free consultation!" The office itself is rather uninviting, cool and impersonal, with no doors for privacy while you are discussing your problems with the doctor. The doctor was rushed and didn't explain options thoroughly. When meeting with the finance person she ended up being the person to better explain the options. In the end I opted to go with another Dental provider. Here it is 7 months later and I am receiving a bill for $156.00 for an x-ray they took during my free consultation. Beware! "Free consultation" apparently doesn't mean free!

Experiencia fantástica: Best dental place I've ever been to, I was seen by hunter, who was absolutely nice and explained everything very well, as well as being understanding of my terrible teeth lol. The doctor was insanely well at what he did and made me feel comfortable, even if he was ripping my tooth out, he was extremely fast precise and nice.
Experiencia negativa: Office staff is very kind, but, the doctor is a money hungry con artist. Went in to have a tooth removed, that's all I wanted, the tooth was cracked at the root and causing me immense pain, all I wanted was for it to be removed, this would have been just a $500 procedure. Upon inspection the doctor lied to me and told me to the effect that if I were to just have the tooth removed and do nothing to fill the empty space (putting in a crown) that it would mess up the surrounding teeth, making it seem as if the surrounding teeth would then loosen and possibly fall out. ( i later, after the procedure found out from another dentist that all that really happens is the surrounding teeth slightly shift towards the gap and that is all.) The doctor spun me this lied in order to get me to approve of a procedure that cost $6,500. The procedure consisted of removing the tooth, cutting open my gums, drilling my jaw, and hammering in a titanium implant, and then attaching a cap/crown (fake tooth) 6 months later. After the initial procedure and finding out he had lied i was angry but thought "atleast there will be a tooth" roughly 2 weeks ago I went in and the fake tooth was installed to the implant. The fake tooth now wiggles like a loose tooth, hurts to chew with, and then began to hurt on a regular basis as the tooth i had removed used to. Today I want in to have the fake tooth removed from the implant, all that was necessary was to unscrew the fake from the implant. When he came in a was given numbing cream and he had the assistant begin prepping the anesthetic. I asked what was going on, all I wanted was the fake tooth removed. He then told me simply that the implant had failed completely (hence the pain, he messed up).The doctor was going to anestheticize me and operate on my mouth WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH ME OR TELLING ME ANYTHING! In conclusion this doctor lied to me and conned me into doing a far more expensive procedure, not because it was necessary, but, because he wanted that extra $6k, and messed it up! My mouth is now worse off than before I went to have the tooth removed. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THIS DENTIST SAYS! He doesn't care about what's best for you or what will work, all he cares about is parting you from your money!

Experiencia fantástica: I have a very welcoming in to Aspen Dental I would say I got answers to every question an then I was up front with them a told Morgan I want to get all the tops teeth pulled an then I was taken back to the lounge to wait to talk with Diana and she done everything she could do to get me where I was able to get all the work done that needs to be done at this time. I will definitely be back for more work when it’s time

Dr. Trehan was very good at explaining things to me and made me feel comfortable about asking questions. While waiting I never felt tense due to the lively atmosphere in the office~ It was my first time coming to Aspen and the experience was great! I would definitely recommend!

Canceled on 10-18-25 Saturday Called to confirm 10-20-25 Refund may take 7-10 days Called today 10-27-25 to check status Per billing no refund issued Per desk at Aspen location, was issued 10-22-25 !!! ( this is 3 days after I called to confirm & 5 since I canceled ) I wouldn't be so upset if I was checking status and someone actually knew what is going on instead of being put on hold and then transferred through the same loop over and over to get put on hold again. :( i have spent an hour only to be transferred back to again. I just want to ask for a number I could call to get an answer on the process and how long...? $2,000. Was taken from me in a matter of minutes but, getting a refund that is supposed to be guaranteed is not an importance is how Aspen is making me feel. I will be glad to see my account reflect my refund as soon as possible.

Experiencia negativa: There is only one dentist n he’s rude and doesn’t like an intelligent woman to speak her mind. He refused services It didn’t bother me. I will make complaints until he’s removed for poor deliverance, and poor introduction of self. Nvr said who he was when walked room just said my name and started talking.

Experiencia negativa: I went there first to get permanent dentures made which I was happy with eventually after several trips but I went there the other day to get my teeth cleaned and have a tooth put back in my denture which is the second one that had fallen out in 2 months and I've only had the denturess since last November. I bought the second to highest price dentures they had trying to get a good quality denture I love the fit but I'm not too thrilled with the teeth falling out. After I got there to get my bottom teeth cleaned and came early because I called the week before and told the gal a tooth and phone off my denture so she told me to come in at 9:00 instead of 10:00 they had no record of that but the gal at the front office told me that I had no dental insurance which sense I had an hour to waste I found out that I didn't somehow I got canceled by my company. I was then told that I had $121 something credit from the last time I was there which was last November and why that wasn't reimbursed I don't know but anyway they said that would cover the cleaning which I went ahead and had done had to go back the next day after I went home and got my temporary denture to where to work that day and drop the other denture off to have the tooth put back in. When I got there they told me I owed $500 and something dollars for the cleaning since I had no dental insurance which I was not happy about at all if they had told me this beforehand when they found out I didn't have insurance I would have waited to get my teeth cleaned since I had already been canceled by them two times on getting my teeth cleaned so what's a another couple months until I can get dental insurance reinstalled again. I was also told by the dentist that I had two cavities one of which she told me about first time I was there and while I was waiting to get my dentures fitted correctly I said why don't you fill the cavity and she said oh that's not a cavity we'll just watch that okay fine. Now the other cavity she said it's between the bottom back tooth and another big tooth back there what she said I would have to have two crowns put on in order to correct this cavity which would cost me approximately $4,800 I think not. I am also questioning being charged $500 something dollars to have the teeth cleaned with the x-rays and stuff when I only have a bottom set of teeth left shouldn't have at least be half price since it's only half the teeth that are generally in your mouth? Needless to say I am looking for a new dentist for my realties on the bottom but somehow I got suckered into pain 1200 or something for this 7-year plan to cover the dentures so I guess I will have to keep going to them for that and I just hope a tooth doesn't keep falling out every other month because it's a real pain in there you know what. Very unhappy with the service and the communication apparently between co-workers and whatnot when I called the week before and was told to come in an hour early to have the tooth and the denture taken care of before I had my teeth cleaned and they had no record of it would not recommend

Experiencia negativa: I was told I was gonna get permanent teeth at top but the dentures they gave me a way too big for my mouth. I can barely talk and my union insurance paid for charges and I get these different charges every two weeks. now it’s every month a different charge that’s way higher now I am worried if I can ever get teeth at the top of my mouth because I do like to eat meats They said it was a healing process, but now I worried because my mouth is healing now and it’s only been a couple months. What shall I do now?
