Experiencia negativa: I've been here three times for my toddler. The first two times were great, dentists and staff were friendly and warm towards my toddler and patiently told him everything that was happening. On my second visit the assistant handed me a paper saying I had a copay of $10 which was surprising since my plan covers everything. I went to the register and the woman who I think is the manager immediately looked at the paper and said I had no balance. On the third visit my son went with his dad and the same thing happened but he was asked to pay the $10. I immediately called the same day asking why. I was told by the front desk that their system is set up to automatically align with what insurance told them to charge but that they would call insurance to confirm and call me back. I waited a week and then read through my policy. They never called me back so I called and spoke to the same lady, I explained that I looked through my policy and that recently both my husband and I went to the dentist with no copay. The woman again tells me it's a system issue but acknowledged that I wasn't supposed to pay the $10 copay. Then she tells me that she can't refund the credit card and has to instead get a refund check mailed out by their billing department which will take 1-2 weeks to arrive. Because we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, we waited 4 weeks and nothing. My husband even called and left a voicemail and they basically ghosted us for $10. - If your system is giving you the wrong amounts to charge people this is negligence or intentional harm. Not properly setting up third party system parameters or properly testing doesn't excuse a business from accountability. - Not following up with people who have valid acknowledged issues is wild. Your own staff agreed this shouldn't have happened but then you don't follow through. - Needless to say, we will never go back.

The west hempstead location accommodated within a few hours. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The doctor explained everything and was very thorough. I definitely recommend this place!

I am a new patient and after having horrific experiences in past practices I can honestly say I've never had better treatment on any level. This includes my dental work, scheduling, and insurance/billing needs. My gums are a mess but I believe that had I had this level of care in the past my dental health would be so much better and I would not have experienced the deterioration this practice is in the midst of fixing. My enthusiasm is because I'm just so thankful to all of them. Special acknowledgements to Mia!!, Catherine, Maria and Drs Bajwa and Sharma for their excellent care.

From consultation to extraction of teeth, they do it all. This is an update I'm adding after the initial review I have made a couple other appointments to have a crown put on and I believe since the last time another extraction with all this heavy work I am in love with this place they really treat you so special here and it's so far everything has been pain-free and they really take care of you to calm you down where it matters and expert advice I've been going to the dentist for over 50 years and this last year with Great Expressions has been really really good, I would like to add the dentist I'm talking about and his assistant and location Chaim Levine, D.D.S. at 380 Hempstead Ave West Hempstead, NY 11552. ........ Update........ August 30, 2018...Moved to a new location one block away to 354 Hempstead Avenue, Ste. B West Hempstead, NY 11552. Basically same staff and was introduced to a new Dentist Misun Lee, D. D. S.. Same excellent service was given to me in a beautiful new office setting. Dr. Lee was excellent in explaining my situation and options moving forward and I'm very pleased. ……….Update……….November 16, 2021 I have been coming every 3 months for general cleaning and dental work. There are some new faces but still the same excellent care is given to me and much respect! ……….Update………..March 9,2022 .. Back again usually every 3 to 4 months for the care I need I’ve been doing this for many many years so no one knows the staff or Dentist Mi Sun Lee D.D.S. better than me . This session I needed some bonding on an old tooth with a post in it again excellent painless work done by Dentist Mi Sun Lee D.D.S. Some other people have mentioned since it is a new building and a new office but someone is maintaining things correctly because everything appears spotless and a very nice environment of course the staff is always lovely to talk to. It seems like they really give an effort to individualize and care about you. ………..update……….. August 8,2024… still coming here every three months excellent care from the dental hygienist, to the receptionist ,to the dentist, doctor. I love this place. Did I say I love this place? No one loves going to a dentist but if you have to, this is the place to end up.! Update February 20, 2025 Another 3 month maintenance visit expertly handled. The staff was professional as usual and all went well. Update. Sept,4. 2025… 3 month cleaning ,cancer inspection of the mouth and some anti-antibiotics keeps me together, perfect treatment every time I look forward every three months Update : Dec15 2025 I was in yesterday for another three month visit deep cleaning irrigation and a fluoride treatment once again treated perfectly. They’re actually like family the receptionist all the way down to the dental hygienist. I love that place.

I don’t know when they were planning to let me know that the pediatric dentist switched her schedule from Wednesdays to Thursdays. Didn’t even bother to call me to reschedule.

However, the billing transparency needs to be improved. Patients need to know what and what will be paid for before getting to the clinic.

One had no expression and the other was too busy chatting on her cellphone…which she was bothered whn the other recep asked her a question. Felt like I disappointed them for showing up. As for the Doctor & Hygienist,,they were professional & knowledgeable. Wish I can bypass the desk on my next visit or better yet seek my teeth cleaning elsewhere.

Also, I don't remember their names but the dental assistant and the dental hygienist are both friendly and always do a great job. I have used several dentists over the years and started using Great Expressions in West Hempstead NY, with Dr. McNally about 2 years ago and it turned out to be a great decision. I highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Do not answer phones. Calling the office for days finally answered and put on hold for 30 mins I had to physically come into the office to make my appointment. When I came in one girl was on her phone and the others on the computer yet no one was available to take my call.
