Experiencia fantástica: My son needed to be sedated to deep clean his teeth and I also didn’t think he will allow them to do it without sedating him but Dr Frankel pediatrics made it possible and removed all the plaques and everything without sedating. My son’s teeth is so clean now and white now. Thank you very much I really appreciate it

Experiencia fantástica: From the time i called to make the appointment to the AMAZING receptionists (i mean from the bottom of my heart thank you you know who u are) to the xray tech to the person i saw before the lady who did the cleaning! If i could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. The dentist office terrifies me which probably explains the damge im trying to rectify but this dental office is by far THEE best… would definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I took my toddler here after being told it was a good dental office. The front desk staff was brash and not welcoming. The dental hygienist was nice. The first dentist told me use natural toothpaste for child. I told dentist concerns about strength of teeth due to me breastfeeding for a long time. She dismissed my concerns. I went for a follow up, this new dentist came off judgmental and said child has two cavities, we don't handle that here. I explained to her what was previously told to me about the toothpaste, she brushed me off and was very cold. Ordinarily, I would've given dentist a piece of my mind but I kept cool because I don't want my child to see me in that state. I asked for further help, she was DRY and arrogant. Gave me a paper of listing of dental offices. I clearly wanted more guidance and she was cold. I said my child is small, is there anything else. She was dry and smug. I asked if she had kids ( because she was just so offputting and I thought a mother may relate), she responded " I have five" then walked off with an attitude. An office that deals with children, yet can't be bothered to be welcoming or pleasant.

Amy, the two wonderful front desk ladies who’ve been there from the beginning, the woman who takes the X-rays, and the assistant lady who works side by side with the dentist—you’ve all shown nothing but kindness, patience, and genuine care to me and my family over the years. I’ve always had a pleasure and a fun time coming to my dentist office ever since I was a little kid. You know growing up you don’t really understand why you go to certain places but now I understand I appreciate even more than I get to come here to do my dental work because they are always professional and they always try to provide the best service for everyone in the community. I haven’t been there since 2021 but I’m very disappointed in myself for now because I have to come back after a few years. The experience felt like they knew me forever and they made sure that they weren’t taking advantage of me and that they provided me with everything I needed. And just seeing how They were paying close attention to every single little detail, even calling up their coworkers just to make sure that they gave me the right information and the best results. If you really care about your teeth or just having one of the greatest dances in the Bronx with the best prices for everyone and anyone I highly recommend for you to come here and if you can’t take my word then it’d be best for you to try it yourself because you won’t regret it

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. I had already transferred my children to another location some time ago because the interactions with the front desk staff and doctors previously felt off. However, I returned for myself due to a toothache and visible damage to my wisdom tooth. To start with a positive note, the dental hygienist and the staff member who performed my X-rays were both professional and kind. Unfortunately, the rest of the visit was frustrating. I arrived an hour early for my 12:00 PM appointment and was the first patient in the building. Shortly after, a woman who appeared to be a doctor or possibly the owner arrived and apologized to the Hispanic patients(talked directly towards only them) for being late due to an emergency. However, she did not acknowledge me at all, which I found uncomfortable but initially chose to overlook. When 12:00 PM arrived, several patients who came after me were called in before I was. After waiting for some time, I went to the front desk to ask how much longer the wait might be. The staff seemed unaware of who I was and asked my name. I explained that I was the first name on the sign-in sheet since I was the first person there. To my surprise, my name had already been crossed off even though I had never been called. They then explained that different doctors were seeing different patients, but the situation felt disorganized. When I finally saw the dentist, the interaction was very brief and lacked explanation. The doctor looked at my teeth and stated that I would need a wisdom tooth removal and a root canal. There was no detailed explanation about what she was seeing, why the procedures were necessary, or any discussion about treatment options or care. I had to repeatedly ask questions just to get basic confirmation and even then the responses were very minimal. Eventually I stopped asking because it began to feel as though I was asking for information that should normally be provided during a visit. Although I did receive referrals for the procedures, I left feeling that the visit lacked communication and patient care. Dental appointments, especially when serious procedures are being recommended, should involve clear explanations so patients can understand their condition and treatment options. Because of this experience, I will be seeking care at a different dental office moving forward. Every patient deserves to feel acknowledged, informed, and cared for during their visit. “No need for an acknowledgment now or comment- and I’m sure this business will continue to ‘thrive’ “

I was able to set up a profile on the phone with Elizabeth and she got me an appt within a week which I was so happy about because my old dental office never had appts until after your next due date. I arrived and checked in with Rebecca and she explained everything to me and she also helped me get an appt for all 3 of my boys. Rebecca and Elizabeth were nice, personable and helpful and fast! My appt duration from check in to leaving was less than an hour. It’s clean, bright and I love that my next appt in 6 months was scheduled right then and there! This way you don’t have wait to call a month before you are due and or forget! So happy I found this new dental office and it’s right near my home! I will definitely recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Recently my daughter was seen at Dr. Frankel dentistry office for teeth cleaning. My husband normally takes her.. However, my daughter informed the dentist that she had extra teeth growing in and they ignored her. I called to speak with the dentist about what would be the treatment and why didn’t they tell dad what was going on with her teeth. I spoke with Amy “Dr Frankenstein wife” she stated. I asked why was not dad given the plan of care begin that she has teeth growing where baby teeth are. She stated that I(me) was not there and let her speak with the dentist about her X-rays )as if I was lying it happen). Meanwhile, dad had already informed me they did not tell him anything about her visit. Then she was very rude speaking over me telling that it cost $200 to pull a tooth and that insurance does not cover it. Today, she calls me and says she spoke with the dentist and she reviewed her X-rays and in a perfect world they would pull them and that it cost $120.I guess that was her way of saying yes that should take it out. I told her that the money is not my concern my concern is my daughter’s teeth and to stop telling how much it cost. Tell me what is the best plan. Bottom line, she so use to serving this community who she feels she does not have to give care to and billing for the basic cleaning and doing what she wants and speaking how she wants because she the “wife” customer service is far from her mind. Please retire that place would probably do much better. Unacceptable! PS. Please don’t respond with fake positivity response. #RUN

Experiencia negativa: I am now in my mid 20s but I came here as a child for years. I was treated with braces for about 2 years here and have not returned since they were removed in about 2012-2013. It has been over a decade but I am leaving this review because this dental office truly traumatized me for life. I now have braces again as an adult and with my current office, it makes me realize even more how barbaric my treatment at this office was. I was so afraid to even go in and get them on again because of my previous experience. I was a child but I remember it like it was yesterday. I’m not even sure what her exact title was, she obviously couldn’t have been the orthodontist but all my color changes/wire changes, and eventually my braces removal was done by an old short white lady with white hair who wore a white coat. She was horribly rough and made me cry every time I went in and used to make me feel crazy for crying. I didn’t know that simply getting the color put in your braces ISN’T supposed to be painful. She was not gentle at all and I still remember the horror of having my braces removed as well as a cage I had in my mouth that she quite literally ripped from my gums. To this day I have glue from the braces on my teeth because she didn’t properly remove it. She was horrible and if she is still alive I hope she isn’t traumatizing any more kids. I’m not even exaggerating about the pain just because I was a child at the time. She was ROUGH and my mother also agreed. Leaving 1 star because I can’t believe this office even had her working there, and as a 10 year old I obviously couldn’t speak up for myself. This office seems very responsive and rude according to the other reviews, so save your unprofessional response because my review and experience is valid and I’ll never forget it.
