Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience here. Trying a new dentist with a child on the spectrum can be difficult. To say I was anxious is an understatement but as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a great staff. Stacey did amazing with my daughter. We’ve never been able to get X-rays of her because it was always a challenge. Not today. When I say they went above and beyond, they went above and beyond. I’m so grateful as a parent but also as a special needs parent. Would 100 percent recommend. My daughters all smiles.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful experience at Children's Dental. The only thing I was hesitant about was when I received a follow-up call regarding scheduling an appointment for my little one, I felt some judgement from the receptionist due to taking a while to schedule (already had Mom guilt for the dental work needed). We live in Yankton and finding a day is hard, then I dropped the ball on scheduling for a while. Maybe it was an off day on the phone for her - but other than that the dentist and assistant were absolutely wonderful. They were thorough and talked everything over with me. My little one did great and said the dentist was very kind!

Experiencia negativa: I have a disabled child who could not make it to said appointment. They kick my son out when they know my son’s issues. Absolutely disgusting behavior

Experiencia negativa: They treat poor families like degenerates and the financial team has no empathy when you're slightly behind on a bill... not everyone has the privilege of living an easy life with money.

Experiencia negativa: Was referred for 3 year old cavities. After driving 2.5 hours 1 direction, was told it was an exam and he needs to come back for surgery to fill. Very unhappy with the process as I knew before we went he needed fillings.

Experiencia negativa: So, overall the experience was lack luster.. had an issue with insurance and got told my child wasn't covered, said I would call insurance and figure it out quickly the front receptionist was great but the other lady in the back, made a rude comment that was unnecessary. My daughter was already anxious about the dentist. Doctor Cory and the hygienists were fantastic but the rudeness and unnecessary comments effected my daughter enough that I unfortunately don't believe we will be back

Experiencia negativa: We will not be returning! Parents aren't allowed to be with children and our son is a toddler and did not want to go alone. The assistant tried pulling his arm to make him go, to which I stepped in and told her to stop, and he was also crying. She then put us in an office and mentioned that if the doctor needed pictures they would have to "carry him out to get it done." (I should have left then) The dentist came in rubbed fluoride on his teeth and that was it.

Experiencia negativa: If you’re wanting to be able to have a say in your child’s care plan I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone for their child. Hygienist were great the doctor was not. Advocate for your child and their care. Was told my child needed more work than what was actually needed on my child’s teeth. Went and got a second opinion and very glad I did. My child no longer needs all the work the doctor had said was needed. I will never take my child there again. Very confused on if this was for the best care for my child or more $$$. -100/10.

Both my kids are always comfortable and the staff goes above and beyond with every kiddo. Thanks for all you do!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Cory was fantastic! We typically go somewhere else and we couldn’t get in and my daughter needed four teeth pulled! He was able to fit us in right away! The front desk greeted us with smiles and made Baylee feel like one of their own patients! She asked if he we could switch dental providers because of the experience she had! Clinics are clean! Scheduling is slick, I get a text when the appointment is made and another reminder text closer to the appointment date! Both kids have had good experiences here!

Experiencia fantástica: We came here 8 years ago for an emergency when my 3 yr old fell and knocked 3 front teeth out. They were amazing and have been ever since. Now both kiddos are enjoying the professional dental care they provide.

They really seem to care about your children! They help your child with what they need for their care and do it well!

Experiencia fantástica: We have had 4 kids go through Children’s Dental Center over the past about 13 years. We have never had a bad experience in all of that time! From scheduling (and rescheduling) to sending our daughter who has Cerebral Palsy (CP) back with the staff, they never balked at helping them all feel safe. Our daughter with CP cried a lot at first but they were very calm with her and she ended up not crying after her dental visits at all!! They are amazing!! Highly recommend them!!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve always found it very concerning that Children’s Dental Center in Sioux Falls does not allow parents in the back with their kids. Most reputable pediatric dentists encourage a parent’s presence because it calms the child and keeps everything transparent. At this office, you’re expected to just hand your child over and wait. On top of that, it seems like there’s always something wrong every time we go — more procedures, more treatment plans, more “urgent” issues. When you look into Medicaid dentistry nationwide, this is exactly how fraud has been uncovered: unnecessary crowns, root canals on baby teeth, and aggressive billing practices. Not saying they’ve been caught, but the pattern here feels way too similar. Parents deserve transparency. If the work being done is truly needed, there’s no reason to keep us out of the room. Until that changes, I can’t recommend this place or trust them with my kids. We left.

I would give them a 10 star if I could. Just a heads up to the new people the parents wait in the waiting room while you kids get the work done.and at the end they will call you back to let you know how it went then the kids get a surprise at the end!

I was recommended to take them to Children’s Dental Center in Sioux Falls years ago. The staff and Dentists are second to none. The team is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Explanations provided by all staff are done so to ensure you have a complete and full understanding of options available for treatment plans and in a kind manner. And follow through with them is impeccable. Even when I had questions on a bill, the team reviewed and assessed my question, researched and followed up with me and the issue was taken care of promptly. You just dont get service from every member of a team like you do here. 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had 4 three n a half year olds that was seen by the delta mobile unit in my town, all 4 were referred on to the children's dental 3 hrs away from where I live. It took me 4 months from beginning to end to get all their dental work done. It was a good experience for all but 1, he had trouble coming out of anaesthetic but was ok. From beginning to end we were treated as valued clients and with respect and my kids aren't scared of the dentist.

Experiencia positiva: The staff there has always been so helpful with all the children in foster care that I have brought in. When kids haven’t had the best oral hygiene and care, their teeth can be pretty painful and need a lot of work. The staff always treats them with the upmost care and does everything needed to get them into better dental health. The one thing I did not like is that an adult the kids know couldn’t go back with them. Some of these kiddos are afraid of adults so having someone there that can be their advocate is important. It can make the difference between needing to put under General anesthesia or not.

We’ve seen multiple dentists throughout the years and all went above and beyond. After 12+ years of utilizing their services and care, I can honestly say we’ve never had an issue. They are exceptional and always welcoming! From the reception and scheduling staff, to the amazing assistants and dentists themselves; CDC is top tier for a child’s dental visit experience!
