Dr. Duran was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding, and took the time to answer my questions and offer helpful advice for at home care, especially with brushing. We felt truly supported and cared for. Highly recommend her and her team.

The hygienist, Sandra, who worked with him was very caring and helped him feel calm and comfortable during his cleaning. Dr Duran asked great questions, provided education and encouragement and was very personable. We weren't rushed and they made the experience both positive and informative. I am very impressed with this office and the team!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been meaning to leave a review for Rockford Pediatric Dentistry for a while now. The front staff is always so kind and helpful, especially with my boys. The office is very clean and nicely decorated, and I love that they have tablets and TVs to keep the kids busy while they wait. They also never seem to run behind, which is a huge plus when you have little ones. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be about billing, but that really comes down to understanding your insurance and what is or isn’t covered. If you’re unsure, it’s worth looking into your benefits before your appointment. The staff and doctors here are amazing, and we’ve always had a great experience!

Dr. Lu and her hygienist did an INCREDIBLE job tolerating him fighting them. They cleaned his teeth very well too and answered all questions we had. Very appreciative of their patience and skills! We also just brought our oldest there for the first time and he was so comfortable and relaxed throughout his cleaning. They did a great job keeping him calm and explaining each step to him! Experiencia negativa: ⭐ 1 star **Absolutely appalling experience.** Dr. Duran at Rockford Pediatric Dentistry refused to treat my child today solely because I would not leave her alone in the room. Yes, you read that right. I was told it was “strict office policy” that no parent could be present unless the child was being physically restrained. Let that sink in. I had ***explicitly stated*** in the paperwork that my daughter had prior trauma at another office and would not be left alone. Dr. Duran even asked me about the situation, *said she understood*, and then coldly told me I still wouldn’t be allowed in. I told my daughter to get out of the chair, we were DONE. They then had the nerve to continue talking to me about a treatment plan, as if I hadn’t just been forced to pull my scared child out of their chair and walk out. The level of disregard and coldness was disgusting. To top it off, hours later they tried calling to "follow up" and offer a refund, after I’d already filed a claim on my HSA card due to their failure to provide care. Dr. Duran: You should be ashamed of how you treated us. No child should be denied care because a parent refuses to abandon them in a room with strangers. Parents: There's better care available than this place.

I was nervous bringing my 18 month old to the dentist, but everyone was very sweet and knew how to interact with him to make him comfortable. The office feels very welcoming and they were genius to put TVs in the ceiling!

They’ve done very well with my daughter who had some severe anxiety and sensory processing difficulties that made even opening her mouth for work seem hard. She’s done wonderful with cleanings and even endured well through fillings now with the help of the staff. Dr. Lu has been wonderful!

Form the time we entered the office we felt welcomed and the front staff was kind and nice, then when we got back we had Damaris and she was very pleasant and accommodating to us, explaining things very thoroughly. Then when Dr. Lu came she was efficient and explained what needed to be done AND got it done the same day. I had a pleasant experience at this office and to make it even better my son said, " I like that dental office" and wanted to go back. Thank you for the nice experience!

We drive an hour to come because they are that good. I would recommend her office to anyone looking for a great dentist for their child.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing I wish I knew this place much sooner the staff and dr Duran is super nice and amazing I brought my 5 year old daughter up here because she has 2 cavities that were really bad that need to be extracted. My daughter was very nervous and scared but the staff and dr Duran were patient and gentle with her when my daughter tooth extraction was complete she was very relieved and my 5 year old told me that she loves this place. I will definitely be bringing my other 2 childrens to this place. I highly recommend it.

Experiencia positiva: The dentists are great with the kids. However, I would suggest times for children's dental procedures be adjusted. Perhaps they can start scheduling dental work which prohibits eating to earlier times. My 5 year old daughter is scheduled for dental work and her arrival time is 1:20p.m. and I'm informed she cannot eat six hours prior. At this point I want to cancel but I would loose my deposit, which is not cheap. Update: My daughter recently had an incident where her crown popped off. I called the office and they were able to squeeze her in that same day to put her crown back on. I waited less than an hour. As always, the dentist was pleasant and understanding.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Dr. Duran! She is kind and makes my kids feel comfortable. She is extra attentive and considerate of my autistic son. He is finally able to come to the dentist without tears! He even was able to do X-rays last time. She is so patient. The dental assistants are also very caring and compassionate. The facility is spotless and everyone is welcoming. I am so glad we decided to start coming to this dental office. 10/10, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: My son was 5 years old when we went to another dentist who told us he had a very deep cavity and referred us to a different pediatric dentist. We did a lot of research and had consultations at several pediatric dentists ranging from Janesville to St. Charles, and in the end chose Rockford Pediatric Dentistry. In the midst of all of these we found out he had multiple cavities and issues. He ended up needing 7 crowns and an extraction with a space maintainer. (we did two other extractions of baby teeth as well because his adult teeth were already in). While the procedure and sedation all ended up being very pricey, we do feel this was the best decision. We had such a wonderful experience from the first phone call to current!! Two weeks ago our now 6 year old son hit his front teeth on the concrete and the office was able to see him immediately and we moved his cleaning up to accommodate X-rays at the same time. Even after all of these experiences, our son still gets excited when we pull in the parking lot exclaiming he loves this place. Thank you to everyone at the office for making our experiences enjoyable and not traumatic. We will continue care that as long as we can afford it out of pocket!! (Sadly our insurance doesn’t cover the office).

Experiencia fantástica: My son had to have a tooth extraction and the staff was very warm and welcoming and he completed without being afraid and came home with little pain. The dentist called that night to check in on how he was doing. Highly recommend this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Love! Love! Love! Everyone was extremely kind and they made me and my son feel very welcome. Deborah was amazing with my son. She was so patient and helped my son overcome his anxiety.
