Experiencia fantástica: Rockford Endodontics exceeded my expectations. The office staff are friendly. My appointment date was able to be moved up due to a cancelation, which I appreciated. All of my questions were answered. Dr. Moore and Val made sure I was comfortable throughout my root canal. It actually was no worse than having a cavity filled. I would 100% recommend Rockford Endodontics to others.

I had a terrible experience from a past root canal done somewhere else so I went in very anxious and was 99% set on just having tooth ripped out vs. going through that ever again but my dentist wouldn’t take it out without a consult with specialist first. Let me just say I’m grateful I listened, Dr Lopez and his staff were kind and very patient with me. Explained the pros and cons of just ripping tooth out and assured me that if i decided to do root canal I wouldn’t feel a thing with the procedure. They didn’t pressure me but explained things and let me make my choice. I did the root canal after some panicking and happy I did. Procedure went great, no pain and they did their best to keep me comfortable the whole time offering blankets and stress balls ect. 100/10 would recommend this place. Thank you guys for everything!

Experiencia fantástica: Over the course of my years on this earth, I've had to have a few root canals performed on my teeth. The one I just had performed by Dr. Moore was the most pleasant endodontic experience I've had. I was able to get an appointment scheduled one week from my initial call for my evaluation. His assistant was extremely pleasant and accommodating and the office staff was very helpful. Dr. Moore took the time to explain my options to me, and he was able to complete the procedure the same day as the evaluation. He made sure to numb my mouth in phases to limit pain and discomfort and explained the steps to me while he was working so I knew what to expect next. I would not hesitate to come here again if I need endodontic services in the future and will recommend him highly to friends and family as well. Do expect to pay for the quality work you receive here. Full payment is due at time of service. They will submit a claim to your insurance company on your behalf and any benefits/payment they would normally cover would be sent to you for compensation of the procedure. This was not an inexpensive procedure by any means, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I definitely believe I got the best care around. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I was very nervous about having my first root canal. My dentist could not get me numb enough to do the procedure, so I was sent to RE. They called it a “hot tooth!” Dr Greenwaldt and his assistant, Jen, were excellent ! Dr Greenwaldt calmly and patiently explained every step of the root canal. He constantly checked my tolerance. It took a long time to numb the area. Medication directly into the bone finally got me numb! They were very concerned about my comfort during the whole procedure. He even called me the next day to check on my status! I would highly recommend RE and Dr Greenwaldt.

Amy was absolutely wonderful in comforting me and assuring that I was ok throughout the procedure. The staff went out of their way to help me get my pre-med prescriptions from a pharmacy before my root canal procedure. I was having a problem because the pharmacy that had my medication ready for pickup was closed unexpectedly. I didn't know what to expect since this was my first root canal. Dr. Moore and Val made me feel very comfortable and explained everything as it was happening. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Moore and his staff for anyone needed endodontic care. Experiencia fantástica: When my dentist gave me the news that I needed a root canal and she was sending me to someone else to do it, I was a little apprehensive. I am not a great dental patient. I have very sensitive teeth and it takes a lot to numb me sufficiently. When I called to make an appointment, they said "oh, you are lucky, we have an opening tomorrow", I was thinking I was going to have time to work up to this. Well, I took the appointment and I am glad that I did! Dr. Moore and his staff went over the top in accommodating my nervousness and listened to me when I explained my issues when it comes to visiting the dentist. I honestly did not feel any pain whatsoever. I would highly recommend Dr. Moore when needing this type of work done.

How often do you hear that about a root canal right? this was an urgent need as I am facing a health journey and needed to get the matter resolved. Dr.Moore understood the need and made the time in order to start the process. As I write this I am waiting until the second appointment when the procedure will be completed. The tooth that was treated had been treated 20+ years previously. However that previous treatment failed to clean all the root channels. One had been overlooked. Dr.Moore discovered the oversight and was able to treat the whole tooth. The process went well and was completed in a short period. So far there hasn't been any discomfort after four days. And the office called twice to follow up with me to gauge how I was responding to the treatment. It's a rare thing these days for medical offices to follow up once let alone twice. Experiencia fantástica: I recently was treated by Dr Greenwaldt for a particular proceedure, which was a revision performed by another endodontist at another clinic. This practice is very professional and efficient, making sure the patient completely understands the proceedure, outcomes and potential issues involved. Costs were explained without any hidden surprises which get tacked on. Most importantly, Dr Greenwaldt was excellent at explaining the scans, presenting options and making sure I was well informed. At no point did I feel rushed to make a decision and the actual proceedure was completely painless. Everything from very slowly administering the local anesthetic to waiting an ample amount of time for it to take effect, and then making sure I was completely comfortable before proceeding was much appreciated! His skills were obvious and he took time to explain exactly what he was doing and made sure I remained comfortable. He called me later to check on me, which was over and above, and followed up with removal of sutures promptly with clearly written directions to achieve a maximal positive outcome. He is first class and the assistants did a nice job in addition. If you ever felt anxious and were not happy with your treatment or were left surprised with the bill, consider Dr Greenwaldt for your next visit. Rockford has lost many fine practitioners in various fields but we are lucky that he returned to this community. 10 stars!

Experiencia positiva: I was able to quickly get an evaluation appointment and a root canal later that same day. On the down side, they are not contracted with any insurance, so out-of-network made for a higher cost than my previous root canals with another Rockford firm.

My whole life I have always had horrible anxiety with any kind of dentistry services and to say I was nervous about getting a root canal done for the first time would be an understatement. The pain I was feeling was the only thing that pushed me to actually go. I had been in horribly pain for a little over a month when I finally got the courage to go in and I’m so happy I did. Dr. Lopez and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and kind. I really appreciated the patience they had with me and how Dr. Lopez took the time to explain the procedure with me and answer any questions I had, even if they were silly ones. During the actual procedure, I caught myself dozing off which is insane since I’ve never even gotten through a cleaning without some kind of tears. If you have any kind of anxiety about dentistry, I recommend you don’t go anywhere else but here!!

I wasn’t scheduled to see him for another 4 weeks; however, they called me as they had a cancellation, and they were able to see me that day! Knowing that I would probably need a root canal, they had carved out time to do it if necessary. So I got it done right then and there. Dr. Moore is excellent at what he does, explains everything, and is as gentle as he can be. If you need any kind of endodontic procedure, he is your guy!

The office staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, which is rare these days, in my experience. We (it was my son’s procedure) were nervous going in, not having had any prior experience with root canals, and Dr. Moore took time to explain everything simply and thoroughly. The procedure was quick and straightforward; we are almost 3 days out and my son says he feels great!

Almost every dental experience I’ve ever had has had some sort of pain associated with it but this time around for my first ever root canal I had zero pain. Went in for a consultation and they ended up having time available to treat me nearly immediately after my consultation. Dr. Moore explained in detail why they were going to do what they needed to do, talked me through the whole process as they did their work, and thoroughly explained the after care and instructions after they completed the procedure. I went into this situation with a negative attitude due to past experiences but they blew me away. Not only was their professionalism on point but their skills and knowledge went above and beyond. We've all heard the 'horror stories' of a root canal. I would recommed Dr. Moore'e office. after the initial 'numbing', there was no pain during the procedure. Staff are kind, caring, and professional: the comfort of the patient is their priority. Procedures and expected outcomes are clearly explained and followed with a phone call a couple of days later. They worked with my insurance company and kept me informed of costs. If I ever need another root canal, i would not hesitate to call Dr. Moore's office!

Dr. Moore: explained the process as he went, was precise, excellent at giving the numbing shots, and communicated effortlessly with his assistant. Experiencia fantástica: If I could give 10 stars I would. I have always been terrified of dentists and avoided going until absolutely necessary. Not only were they super quick and super efficient, they were kind, understanding and supportive. I felt very relaxed, they offer aromatherapy, warm neck pillows, blankets and a warm washcloth when done. I only took advantage of the wash cloth but was nice to know it was available. Amy was beyond caring and kept my mind distracted while Dr Moore did my root canal. They are up to date with technology and procedures. I honestly can’t say enough good things about here and though I hope I don’t need anymore I would definitely go back here if or when needed. I should add as well that they were able to get me in super quickly which was amazing since I had been in a lot of pain for at least a week before finally getting it looked at.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Rockford endodontics a couple of times already. First time I had Dr Moore. He performed a root canal retreatment. I had no pain, he did a great job and no problems since. He explained everything he was going to do and made me very calm and relaxed. The second time I went to Dr Lopez for a standard root canal. No pain and a great recovery. He also communicated what he was going to do and took care of it right away. The third time was Dr Lopez for what was thought to be a root canal retreatment on another tooth. He took the time to ask a number of questions and he came to the conclusion that I clinch causing nerve pain. He found that my bite was off and he took the time to do some adjustments for me . I have to say Dr Moore and Dr Lopez are rock stars !! They are great people, they care enough to have the bed side manner , they take the time to explain everything in detail . They make you feel very comfortable!! They are just awesome !! And I truly mean that!!

Dr Lopez was kind enough to see me and do the first half of my procedure and scheduled a follow up to finish the work a couple of weeks after. I had two visits and feel great about writing this review to communicate my experience. I was treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. Experiencia fantástica: I had to have a root canal redone because of a lateral crack causing infection. I was filled with anxiety going in, but staff put me right at ease. They explained everything every step of the way and we’re super kind and patient. They provided calming essential oils, a blanket, and some soothing music during the procedure. Overall, I wish I didn’t have to have it done, but I wouldn’t have wanted to have that extensive dental work done anywhere else. Dr. Lopez is kind and gentle. I highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dental procedures can often be stressful and unpleasant, but my recent root canal was a surprisingly comfortable experience thanks to Alex and his team. Alex thoroughly explained the procedure, which put me at ease, and his assistant even provided a warm neck pillow. Despite the drilling, I felt relaxed throughout. The facility was also very clean. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr Moore explained everything before, during, and after the process he knows it help knowing what's going on while they are working on you. By now I thought I'd be in terrible pain and I'm not because, I followed directions on the pain management sheet I was handed and it's working. I am so happy and greatful. I was horrified to go through the process after hearing other's experiences. However, the staff put me at ease from the first phone call. He explained on the X-ray where the Root canal was so I was able to understand the procedure. Dr. Moore made sure I was very comfortable and pain free while doing my Root Canal. I didn't even feel the shot of nova cane he gave me to numb the area he was working. I recommend anyone who is fearful of dentists and needs major dental work should go to Rockford Endodontics. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Love is an angel. My tooth ache was mild, next day bad, then horrid. I called my dentist, who said Dr Love is great. He gave me an appointment for an evaluation the very next day. I thought it was just an evaluation. But he offered to do the root canal right away. He was very kind and patient and reassuring, explained everything did. He said the first injection to anesthetize my gum would hurt, and it did. But after that none of the injections hurt very much. It took over an hour to get it all done, but he was patient and thorough. He has a mouth pillow gizmo to keep your mouth open which makes it easier. He is an angel. My root canal is done, I still have the tooth, what a relief.

Experiencia fantástica: GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR SOMEONE WITH DENTAL PROCEDURE EXTREME ANXIETY!! I have extreme phobia and anxiety with dental procedures. I let them know i was feeling anxious and they offered me an essential oil (lavender) scented cold or warm pillow, blanket, and stress ball. It was so comforting! They offered me drinks too… during the procedure i didn’t feel a single thing! The doctor is great at explaining what is to come (it helps me mentally know whats going on)… i was also worried bc i have extreme sensitive to cold teeth, but he used a blanket over my mouth and so literally no coldness to any of my other teeth… overall GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!! Amazing doctor and assistant, and the receptionists are so kind.

I was really nervous and they helped calm my nerves by giving me a lavendar scented or scent of my choosing, pillow for my neck. They had water and were very patient with me and kept asking me how I was doing. I will totally recommend this place to all I know.

I’ve never been so comfortable at a dentist appointment, they offer me a hot or cold neck pillow, a blanket & even essential oils to help relax me. Dr. Lopez explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. The front office girls were very friendly and had a coffee bar for anyone waiting in the lobby.

I had a root canal without any pain issues or problems. They keep you informed at every step they are doing. I almost fell asleep during the procedure without anything other than numbing injections. Numbness wore off in about an hour, and I haven’t needed anything for pain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Their staff takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. Which is nice not to be a number and then next patient. I had a root canal done. And this was absolutely painless. In fact I was so comfortable during the procedure I fell asleep. Granite I just worked a 13 hour shift a was pretty tired. But to be that comfortable and feeling no pain or discomfort to do that on a procedure like that , says a lot.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the good fortune of having Dr. Lopez work on 2 of my teeth. Originally, I had been told, by a different dentist, at least 1 of the teeth would need to be extracted. At 65, that was my least favorite option. Dr. Lopez was able to save both teeth. His skill was obvious throughout the process. Even more amazing was his communication as he worked. I think few enjoy root canals, however, Dr. Lopez does his very best to make the process as painless and informative as I believe is possible. My deepest thanks and gratitude goes out to this man.
