Experiencia fantástica: staff are very nice and patient. I absolutely despise having my teeth worked on, but I needed a root canal for an unbelievably large dental abscess. Dr. Massey made sure that I stayed numb and was very considerate the entire time. It takes a lot of medication to numb my mouth and they would stop and give additional shots as often as I needed. they were aware of my non verbal cues of pain. I hope I never have to go back.. but if I ever needed another root canal I would definitely go here

Experiencia negativa: Don’t trust these folks. Get a second professional opinion. Got a root canal for an abscess. Paid $2000 out of pocket for the work & it did absolutely nothing. 2 months later and rounds of antibiotics, Now they want to perform another surgery that they want me to pay out-of-pocket assuming I’m going to trust it will fix it. Unfortunately the mal practice lawsuit isn’t worth going after with dr Massey. He knows he can get away with botching mouths & won’t get sued. Leaving this review to help patients make a decision. In the end they took my money & didnt help a thing. Ultimately leaving this review because they don’t hold themselves to any accountability. Don’t be the next victim. Coward

Experiencia fantástica: I recently got a root canal here and they were able to give me the price for the entire procedure upfront on the phone.The price was very reasonable considering the exceptional care that I received. I had a decayed broken tooth that was giving me a lot of pain. I was going to opt for the Nitrous to make my experience less painful, but I ended up choosing to go without it due to the reassuring assistant at the front desk who ensured that although everyone’s pain and experience will be different, most people walk out of there office being able to continue on with their work day. I’m so glad that I listened to his kind advice and saved myself an extra $150 for the gas. They were so thorough and gentle, I didn’t feel any of it! There is also no residual pain post op! I never thought I would be able to almost fall asleep during a root canal! I’ve had basic fillings and cleanings at my primary dentist that were more painful than this! They had a small flatscreen tv on the ceiling for me to watch the history channels while they worked and had great music playing throughout the entire building! Overall, there is endless things I could say about Greater Springfield Endodontics! This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving! Experiencia fantástica: Just had a root canal done yesterday and, as a veteran with PTSD and severe anxiety, I was exceptionally nervous. Every dental situation I’ve had in the past has been painful and being referred here for this work I was very much not looking forward to it. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and very accommodating, offering nitrous to help me relax prior. Numbing was painless completely, and when the procedure started I felt some discomfort and they stopped immediately to ensure I was comfortable (unfortunately this tooth had extra nerve endings towards my tongue and was a bit more difficult). Following that, the procedure was painless and done well; this was my third root canal done but this one took more steps than the first two that I had gotten done at a different location. Afterward there was some some dull aching that a little ibuprofen managed and today I feel next to nothing. I would highly recommend this office!

Overall it was a great experience and if needed I would go back to him. The reason for the 4* is because of the communication. I booked my appointment in early August for Sep 23. I got a reminder on sep 16, great. Then, the 19th i got a message saying that if I didn't confirm in less than 5 hours that my appointment would be canceled! I just happened to be late to work that day so I actually saw the message in time. Otherwise, my appointment would have been canceled because I can't have my phone at work so I wouldn't have seen the message until that evening. I called and made the appointment myself, there is absolutely no reason to assume I'm not going to be there and say that you're going to cancel the appointment if I don't respond when you had requested no previous communication.

I was supposed to get a consultation only, but Dr. Massey saw how much pain I was in and told me that he would work me in for the root canal at the end of the day. He gave me an injection to help with the pain while I waited for the end of the day. While the assistants were taking x-rays and getting things together for the root canal later in the day, Dr. Massey checked his schedule and magically worked me in right then and there. The entire visit was 2 hours from consult to finish. They were all so kind and accommodating. I cannot thank Dr. Massey and his staff enough!
