Like myself, many patients probably feel nervous when going in for dental work and the staff understands that anxiety and try to reduce the fear factor. Dr. Gray is a very skilled, detailed and compassionate dentist and does a wonderful job in eliminating pain. He also enjoys getting to know his patients which makes the experience more personal.

Dr Gray was wonderful and encouraging and took the time to explain everything as it was happening. Will probably return as an actual patient! Also blessed by the worship music playing that eased my entire body.

Experiencia positiva: It was quick and easy to get an appointment here. There was a little wait upon arrival to my scheduled appointment. I was greeted upon entering by the front desk staff. Once I was called back I was seated immediately and not long after the Dentist came in. He explained everything to me as he did it. I was in and out relatively quickly. I went back for a different procedure it was an afternoon appt. So the wait was longer this time. The time I was in the chair was less than 30 minutes. The staff explained everything they did to me. They listened to my concerns. A special devise was made for me but it was loose so they sent it back for adjustments. I'm happy that they take pride in their work and want to get it right for me. Experiencia negativa: This dental office has been an absolute nightmare to deal with in relation to scheduling. The staff is extremely polite, but the scheduling, communication, and overall organization of this office have been incredibly disappointing, therefore I cannot recommend this office to anyone who values their time. I have already scheduled an appointment with a different dentist because I refuse to deal with this any longer. If you do go to this office, I truly hope your experience is the complete opposite of mine. I have gone to this dental office for a few years, and have always been met with a less than stellar experience. It takes A LOT for me to leave a bad review, but today was the last straw. Two weeks ago, I had two fillings completed at this office. Before those fillings, they took X-rays and proceeded with the treatment. At no point during that visit did anyone tell me that I needed a comprehensive exam or additional X-rays before future fillings could be completed. They also didn’t schedule a comprehensive exam. Instead, they scheduled my next filling appointment. I understand that X-rays are necessary before a tooth can be filled, and I have no issue with that. My problem is with the complete lack of organization, communication, and respect for patients’ time. I drove an hour each way, took time off work, and spent money on gas (and it’s over $4/gallon right now ‍) to be there. After arriving, I waited more than 20 minutes past my appointment time before I was even brought back. At the front desk, and when I was taken back to the chair, we discussed which tooth was being filled, and only then was I told that they could not do the filling because they wanted to schedule a comprehensive exam and additional X-rays first. So I essentially drove two hours round-trip, took time off work, waited in their office, only to be told that I needed to come back another day for something they should have known and scheduled before ever booking the filling appointment. If a comprehensive exam and additional X-rays were required, that should have been identified during my previous visit when they were already taking X-rays and performing fillings, or at the very least before scheduling another filling appointment. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated experience either, so at this point, I’m done with Access Dental.

Experiencia positiva: I like the people but they didn't have our previous films and were unable to see me because they didn't have prior authorization for my procedure. So I was unable to be seen. Waste of everyone's time and my gas. If I didn't know what was going on I would have allowed for another panoramic film series to be taken costing me more money I didn't need to spend. I'm glad im able to advocate for myself and I know how the system works.

I hadn’t had dental insurance for many years and hadn’t been to a dentist in about 20 years, so I was really nervous about going in. Not only did they do a full exam, they also gave me an amazing cleaning. They were able to remove what I thought was permanent damage on my teeth from years of smoking, which I honestly didn’t think was possible. I felt embarrassed about the state of my teeth and how long it took to clean them up, but the staff was incredibly kind and reassuring the whole time. They kept telling me they didn’t mind at all and made me feel comfortable instead of judged. I am so grateful I chose to go here. If you’ve been putting off going to the dentist like I did, I really recommend Access Dental. They were compassionate, professional, and truly helped me more than I expected.

Experiencia negativa: -100 stars I had an extremely concerning experience at this dental office. During my initial visit, the dentist began drilling and removed metal from my tooth without first taking an X-ray. The tooth was then filled despite the presence of an abscess and an exposed nerve, which I was not informed of at the time. I returned to the office due to ongoing pain following the procedure. At that visit, I was told about the abscess and open nerve and was informed that an antibiotic prescription would be sent to my pharmacy. That prescription was never sent, leaving me without the necessary treatment. Since receiving care at this location, I have been in continuous pain. This experience raised serious concerns about both the quality of care and follow-through. I would strongly urge others to proceed with caution before choosing this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant experience considering I "hate" going to dentist. Suzanne, (my dental hygienist) put me at ease immediately. The dentist explained what he was going to do prior which relieved my anxiety. I am glad that I choose them as my dental care givers.

Experiencia negativa: I had some teeth come out of my plate. I made an appt. and the technician asked me if I had dropped it. I told her no, that they came off while I was eating. She then told me that she has never seen anything like this and told me that she thinks I dropped it. Im 53 years old and being accused of lying was completely unprofessional. Ever since Dr. Vogyl retired this place has been a mess. She then left for probably 20 minutes with my plate and returned to tell me it was going to cost me $300. If you look at my plate, you can see there is something wrong in the craftmanship of the plate itself. They have already done this kind of thing to me before when they told me i need to come in and have it re-aligned. So I drove all the way from Oklahoma City to Springfield to find out that re-aligns arent part of the original price that I paid and yes, I was asked to pay that magic number of $300. I definitely will never again recommend this place to anyone. In the beginning when Dr. Vogyl was there it was great. I recommended this place to my father and he had them do his work. They were made wrong and they blamed it on the company they had make them, but would not have them fixed. So my dad paid a couple thousand dollars for teeth that he cant use. This place is ridiculous. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT JUNK THAT THEY WONT STAND BEHIND.

Experiencia negativa: I went in to have some fillings done while I was pregnant 2 years ago. I was going to write a review at the time of service but just decided not to, now, I have a filling that has fallen out and it’s just added to the bad experience from this place. The front desk ladies were amazing! But when I was getting my filling done, the dental assistant was absolutely horrible to me. The dentist also told me he once tried to give himself a filling without anesthesia. Weird and unprofessional. When I got the filling done, I told him my bite didn’t feel right. He said “it’ll work itself out over time” Like I said, now the filling has fallen out and I’ll find elsewhere to get it fixed. Wouldn’t recommend.

Experiencia positiva: I will say that in the beginning of my services which started back in April 2025 I didn’t know what to think of the place I had a couple visits that were very unpleasant as a couple of the dental assistants were rude and not very helpful or understanding about anything. I was supposed to have a couple of teeth extracted for a bridge in may I got a call the day of saying that the dentist was not going to be in which was frustrating as I missed an entire day of work for nothing to get done. It got rescheduled for August I went in and had an assistant named Adriana whom had been nice and informative from my first visit but this time she was even better at putting my mind at ease and overall a super dental assistant I will ask for her to be my assistant every time I go back. The dentist did a good job extracting the teeth I hope the rest of the procedure goes well as I go back in a couple months to get the rest of the work done.

Experiencia negativa: Receptionists were nice as well as the new dental assistant. After they did xrays, I met the hygienist it all quickly went down hill from there. They said I needing a filling fixed and had some gingivitis but weren't going to do a teeth cleaning without doing a filling. I explained my health issues with my hands and fingers as well as how my tinnitus got worse after my last filling. They wouldn't even discuss my TMJ (jaw disorder) and I barely saw the dentist. I could hear them talking about my insurance outside the room and that he didn't want to talk about it, assuming that my insurance wouldn't cover it, as if I couldn't pay for it. I was so upset that the DA gave me a number to a place that could help me get a night guard. Needless to say, I didn't go back as I felt unheard and I was treated less than all because of my insurance

Experiencia negativa: Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. The ladies at the front desk are kind and sweet as can be. But as soon as you enter the door to the back room, they no longer care about you as a human being. Assistants are rude and make a clear expression of annoyance when you ask basic questions about what's going on. As a new patient, when I ask questions, I at least want a genuine attempt to answer to the questions. Not to feel like its a problem that I even showed up to the office at all. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Overall, very unprofessional and not personable at all.

I felt like I had placed an absolute unbearable burden upon my Dentist when I had asked basic concerns about procedures, what treatments would look like, and next steps after exams. As a new patient, I felt unwelcomed and that they simply wanted to get me in and out as fast as possible in order to collect a check from my insurance. If you want quality Dental Care and to feel like the provider truly cares about concerns you voice to them, go find another place. This is not the one for you.

Experiencia positiva: I made an appointment Monday to have a molar tooth extracted. I emphasized that I only wanted the broken molar tooth pulled out before it started to hurt. I explained that eventual I want to remove the few remaining teeth and put in false teeth next year. So I went in Tuesday to get the tooth extracted. I paid almost $600.00 to get that one tooth extracted. I thought that was too expensive to have a single tooth extracted. Now I was very impressed with the dentist though. Dr. Carlson did an excellent job and very little pain. Plus the tooth was very stubborn but he managed to extract it without causing me any pain. I would give him 5 stars plus.

I started with them after not getting the needed dental care I was needing from another dentist. They have done all my cleanings and I’m always happy with the results. Through the cleanings, they found the small cavities I had and I got them filled before they got larger. So happy with everyone here and will continue to go to them for all my dental needs
