Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with One Dental's disorganized scheduling and terrible front desk service. They adjusted our appointment time, sending us a confirmation for 3:00 PM, while their system had us down for 2:00 PM. We took time off from work specifically to be there. When confronted, the office clerk was unapologetic and completely unhelpful. To add insult to injury, they then kept us on hold endlessly on the phone just 'trying to find out what happened' with zero resolution. Look elsewhere if you value your time and basic customer service.

Calvin is the absolute I’m not usually pumped about dentist trips, but he took his time, stayed super precise, and kept everything painless and chill while working on my teeth. Zero discomfort. Looking forward to having One Dental take care of all my future dental needs.

And yet… I genuinely look forward to my appointments at One Dental. I’ve been going here for two years now—ever since I moved to San Jose—and these folks have somehow turned “someone scraping your molars” into a borderline spa experience. First off: the place is spotless. Not “quick wipe-down” clean. I’m talking “NASA is preparing this room for launch” clean. Everything shines. Everything smells fresh. I half expect someone to hand me booties before I walk in. Second: the staff. Friendly without being fake. Professional without being robotic. They explain what they’re doing, they don’t judge you for that one week you “definitely flossed,” and they somehow make small talk while operating suction devices like dental Jedi. And the technology? I don’t know what half of it is called, but it looks like it belongs in a Marvel lab. Screens, scanners, high-tech wizardry. I’m convinced they could 3D-print me a new tooth if I asked nicely. But the real MVP feature? TVs. On. The. Ceiling. That’s right. While they’re cleaning your pie hole, you’re watching Netflix like royalty. I’ve gone from “open wide” anxiety to “hold on, this episode isn’t over” real quick. Bottom line: Clean. Friendly. Cutting-edge. Entertaining. If you’re in San Jose and need a dentist, stop searching. One Dental is the move. They’ve officially upgraded my relationship with flossing and made dental visits something I don’t dread. And honestly? That might be modern medicine’s greatest achievement. ✨

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to One Dental for about three years now. At first I loved the modern office, TV screens in exam rooms, little gift bag of brush, floss etc. But lately I find the interaction with the dentist very rushed. My recent visit I had less than 60 seconds of his time. (I think he cycles around all of the exam rooms - one dentist for 5-6 patients.) The rest was with the hygienist, who talked widely and randomly about her work as a nanny, the traffic in LA, and eighties music. I suspect it was a distraction to stop me noticing the minimal care I was receiving. Didn’t feel like $199 of professional care at all.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very happy with my experience. Clean tidy office. Customer service was exactly as it should be. All the staff were polite and respectful. Wait times are short. No gimmicks or extra unnecessary services were being pushed on me. They were straight to the point which I loved. The services provided were quick and efficient. The lady who did my cleaning was awesome she actually removed some plaque my past dentists didn't achieve during a cleaning. Some pluses aside from the exceptional staff were the tvs in front of and above you for viewing as well as the nice welcome kit with some goodies. Ive moved my family of 9 over to this practice. Happy to say in the first week we have been seen one by one without waiting months for an appointment just to have xrays and come back months later for cleaning. Maybe some will know what past dentist we had by the reference. Overall Satisfied with everything.

Experiencia fantástica: After being at a different highly rated dentist at Santa Clara, which turned out to be a terrible and painful experience because their sensors for X-Rays were too large, I didn't get a new dentist for over 3 years! Eventually because of some tooth sensitivities showing up, I gave One Dental a shot because of proximity and availability of online scheduling. They were so smooth, helpful and it was super comfortable experience. They never push any procedures on you, keep you informed of any anomalies they see. The best part is, the TV on the ceiling when the providers work on you haha!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a good experience during my first visit at One Dental today. Dr.Lee was my dentist. He was pretty good, I liked the fact that he suggested nothing unnecessary. He didn't even mention about Invisalign, which all dentists randomly pressure us into so far. For my wisdom tooth, he said do whenever I want (but later said bottom ones get done soon if possible as it's hitting next teeth), but didn't panic me saying oh do it asap blah blah and all. He cleaned my teeth of all the stains successfully! Office was very nice and they had TV on the roof to watch while you get your dental work done. I will definitely come back to One dental in 6 months.

I saw “ I’m a dentist who’s always hated going to the dentist” on the welcome page of the website and I immediately called to make an appointment!! It lived up to all my expectations. It’s a beautiful office - modern and clean. Two TVs in the patient room (wall and ceiling) with Netflix! I got my Gilmore Girls fixing while getting my teeth clean! How lovely! Jazmin was my hygienist and she wants a doll! She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Lee was so thorough and kind. The gentleman at the front desk was so accommodating and provided a personalized dental goodie bag. How sweet! Experiencia fantástica: Great dental office with a care team that focuses on honest health delivery. I had the pleasure of getting my preventive health care from Binh who was an amazing RDH. Very gentle, informative, and had excellent care management. Although it was my first time with her it felt very comfortable as if I’ve been going to her for years. The Dentists are honest and healthcare driven during exams after bringing up some sensitivity concerns they provided honest feedback after doing a few tests and looking at X-rays. It’s no wonder they are booked out half a year in advance. Also the goody bags in the end are filled with quality brushes and floss! This is my dental home.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! This place was amazing 10/10. I went in for a typical cleaning and check in, but I alow elected to get a mouth guard custom made with them for teeth grinding. Super excited to get my mouth guard in two weeks (very timely for a fully customized mouth guard). Extremely friendly staff members whom greeted me very kindly and that energy never left throughout the entirety of the visit. It was a gorgeous office with a very modern aesthetic and clean too! Also, you get to see the doctor almost immediately which was very nice! Overall, they made my dental experience fantastic!

Was pleasantly surprised: office is sleek and modern, each treatment room appears to be brand new. I have had very negative experiences with past dentists, but never at this office - for one, they hand you a remote to watch Netflix, with one screen in front of you and one screen built into the ceiling. And if that wasn't enough to distract me from the work being done, the DDS is very understanding and patient, gentle and efficient. His bedside manner is impeccable. I have since moved to Mountain View, but am more than willing to drive 45 min against traffic to continue having my dental work done here... I trust them implicitly, and am so grateful to have found them!!! I would highly recommend One Dental to anyone in need of a dentist.

Experiencia negativa: My daughters had appointments scheduled for months, but just before the appointment, there was considerable confusion regarding insurance verification. Shortly before the scheduled time, I received a text notifying me that the appointment was cancelled. The administrative staff at the office seemed to be insufficient and unhelpful in handling these matters. When I called the office to reschedule, I was offered an appointment seven months later. This is unacceptable. Due to these issues, we will not be returning to this office again.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to One Dental to get a consultation and second opinion about a failing 3 yr old bridge. I recently moved to South San Jose and was looking for a cosmetic dentist - my son goes to One Dental. I have not heard any complaints so I decided to give them a call. I chatted with a lovely scheduler - isn’t that what they call them now? She’s part of the dental TEAM. I love the new branding. Sounds so organized and supportive, doesn’t it? I like a little camaraderie. Must be the cheerleader in me. If one TEAM member trips up there’s others on the TEAM to fix it. Very comforting. I’m all for it. The scheduler managed to fit me in the next day at 1pm. I love when a dental office runs on time, don’t you? But not to worry because the door was opened at 1:00p sharp m, right after lunch! It was immaculate and modern inside, clean fresh air, no dust bunnies under the waiting room chairs, no fingerprints on all the glass or hard surfaces. Each individualized patient room was roomy and had large doors/walls of glass panes. If Dr Lee & Dr Kim helped design spaces that are that nice then they must be good with designing a mouth of teeth… which we all know are so much smaller. Those on the dental “Team” were friendly and helpful and didn’t talk down to me as if I’d never been to a dentist. They were very professional and respectful, handing me off to others on the TEAM as the job description changed. Dr Lee came in and introduced himself and we went over my concerns… he took a look inside my mouth … and got a view of the 8th wonder of the world. (WHO & HOW did they do that???). Bless his heart for not rolling his eyes or giving me my exit papers - he immediately took it as a challenge, like a bull fighter getting in the ring. I wanted his opinion and a little magic to fix all the old and sometimes bad dentistry that had been done to me over the last 50 yrs. X-rays: they had some very up to date equipment. I was familiar with the futuristic one that has you bite on a little plate in the center, then it circles your head several times and makes you wonder if they’re trying to clone you. But the handheld one? New to me. For the first time no one had to put a very heavy lead apron over my neck and chest to help protect me while they headed for cover in another room in an effort to nit get poisoned along with me. It was obvious, from the x-Rays of my mouth that this was NOT my first rodeo. So we chatted a little dental & health history, my vision for my dental health, then Dr Lee wiped a bead of sweat off his brow (JOKING! He wasn’t scared!). He made a plan with me to tackle and rebuild the dental bridge that was collapsing first - a necessary job which would involve some extractions and dental implants. He was very articulate, and explained things quite well. I also appreciated that he LISTENED to my concerns and horror stories and didn’t rush me through the appointment. Dr Lee recommended a periodontal group that is often used by One Dental patients to get me through the next phase of my grueling restoration. I have to admit that after reading One Dental’s WEB page and description I thought everything was done in house since implants are listed on their web page. But alas, several procedures are actually sent out to an extended part of the TEAM called “Specialists”. They don’t work under Dr Lee’s roof, so to speak, but they aren’t very far away either. The important thing is that they are all part of the consolidated TEAM that will work together to help me with my smile and dental health. Would I recommend One Dental? Things are changing so fast and I felt this dental office and their teams are also moving right ahead, so yes I would recommend them. Full disclosure - but the proof is in the pudding and Dr Lee hasn’t worked on me yet. So, I can’t vouch for hands on abilities or his shots (I HOPE they’re painless) but I will come back to him for the new crowns. A lady can never have too many crowns.

Experiencia negativa: I recently had an experience at One Dental that compelled me to share my thoughts. While the quality of dental work provided is satisfactory, there are some areas that could benefit from improvement. The primary concern revolves around their scheduling system. It is disconcerting to learn that existing patients face an extended wait time of over 8 months for an appointment, while new patients can secure one within the week. This discrepancy raises questions about the allocation of resources and time management. Furthermore, I found their scheduling software to be somewhat lacking. A feature that would allow existing patients to be notified of any cancellations would be greatly appreciated and would undoubtedly enhance the patient experience. Regarding my own treatment, I had a somewhat unusual experience with fillings. Regrettably, I had to make two additional visits due to the introduction of a new sensitivity problem that I had not encountered previously. This aspect, unfortunately, detracted from an otherwise satisfactory dental visit. In conclusion, One Dental has potential, but there are notable areas for improvement. Addressing the scheduling disparities and enhancing the scheduling software would go a long way in providing a more seamless experience for patients. Additionally, a closer review of the sensitivity issue following fillings would be beneficial.

Experiencia fantástica: The office is so nice and makes you feel comfortable for those with dentist anxiety. Everyone is so nice here and they constantly check in with you during your cleaning or procedure to make sure you’re comfortable and aren’t feeling any pain. The staff and Dr. Kim also make sure to explain everything thoroughly before scheduling your next appointment(s), including cost. You also get an added bonus of a “swag bag” after a cleaning that includes a toothbrush, travel toothpaste and mouth wash, and a floss.

Love that they review everything with you so there are no surprises and they do not make you feel bad for any issues you may have. I will be going back for more intense work and am am confident and not scared, which means a lot since I don't generally care to go to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I have seen Dr. Kim many times and as I have reviewed before, he's the best dentist I have had. In my recent visit a couple of days ago, Dr. Lee came to the exam room instead of Dr. Kim and he was great as well. He helped with some pain I was having by grinding down the teeth ever so slightly - pain is gone and I can now chew on that side of the mouth. One thing that stood out this time was the dental hygienists. She was gently but took her time to be very thorough. Unfortunately I forgot to get her name. Looks like this office tries very hard to get the best people to work in the office - from the dentists, hygienists and the reception staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Maybe three years now…a big fan of ONE Dental…I consider myself an OG, one of the original patients when Dr Kim’s practice opened and I’m all smiles. Tiffany at the front desk and IMO the best hygienist in the South Bay Stefanie, have helped manage my dental care from day one. Dr Lee is in the office now since the patient population has increased so much. The office is clean, comfortable and modern. The tech is wild here. Photos, X-rays all the goods are all managed at your seat and presented to you in layman’s terms. Billing is up front and they’ve worked with my insurance and HSA account seamlessly. I’m all smiles for ONE Dental

Experiencia fantástica: Top notch facility with 2 large TVs - one on the side wall and one on the ceiling! They have Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc. to watch anytime during the visit. All equipment are top of the line. One of the mose modern and high-tech facilities out there. The staff and assistants were very warm and friendly. The dentist Dr. Kim was very swift and professional. Highly recommend this place

Experiencia negativa: This place is a nightmare. Please I’m telling you this Dental office is the worst and you should never ever go there. The Dr. Is young and has no clue what he’s doing. He might be book smart but his craft is garbage. If you need dental work this is the wrong place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best place for all dental services. I have been searching for an excellent dentist for a long while now. And I have found that here with Dr David who's caring, extremely kind, professional and a fantastic dentist. The staffs all are pleasant. The office is beautiful as well as nice and clean. I have been a pretty happy client for a few years. He fixed quite a few of my dental issues that had been persisted for years & no other dentist could fix properly. I love the place and the folks here. But what prompted me to take my time to write this review is the beyond-this-world services I received yesterday & today. My gum got really irritated yesterday; so, I texted the office around 6pm yesterday in desperation- asking for an emergency appointment. I didn't expect a response until the next day. But immediately, I got a text back from Tiffany who squeezed me in for a 2PM appointment the next day. She also advise me to take "Advil dual action" to relieve any pain in the meantime. I was so grateful and bowled over when seeing her effective and prompt reply. I felt so well cared for at the most human level. They cared. Tiffany cared; she had compassion for my pain. Today - I came in and saw Dr David who was so gentle and sweet. He took a closer look & told me everything looked good - My gums and my teeth looked normal. The X-ray looked normal. He asked me more questions and assured me everything looked healthy. As I heard him, I almost immediately felt better. It's not my teeth& gum. So, it could be a very bad allergic reaction to some new food I had eaten yesterday. I had suspected that but now that seemed much more probable. I knew how to deal with that. It's 8pm now - 6 hours after my visit with One Dental; my gum is feeling better. I still don't know what had happened but I feel confident that whatever it is, if it returns - I can just go to my family doctor and have her deal with the allergic reactions. The sugar on top? There was no copay for my visit. I cannot recommend Dr David & his staffs more than this. They are truly phenomenal. This office is a hidden gem in a tiny plaza. They are one talented, gifted Team. And so awesomely caring too. I feel so blessed to finally find such excellent dentist & his Team. They proved once again I could trust and rely on them on times of desperate needs. Thank you so much Dr David & everyone at One Dental - especially Moises & Tiffany - for taking care of me. I am very grateful for you all. Bach N

Experiencia fantástica: This is basically the best dentist I have ever had. The office is totally different than a traditional office. The staff was awesome, the ambiance was awesome (it made me feel happy) and the music in the background while I was at my dentist appointment was awesome. The cool part is that even though they have state of the art equipment that I had never seen before, I felt no pain. I guess the two tv screens that you get to watch Netflix on while they are working on you distracts from any discomfort. I have a deep cleaning soon, and I expect a good experience!

Experiencia fantástica: While the office is very modern and clean, the real stars of the show are Dr. Kim and his staff! The front desk team is knowledgeable about insurance, and always willing to help out when I need more information. My regular hygienist always does a very thorough (but delicate!) job on my routine cleanings. Dr. Kim himself doesn't pressure you into any operations you're not ready to do. In my case, he recommended getting a crown for one of my molars, and he was willing to keep tabs on it during my visits. I did eventually get the crown done, and no complaints so far!

Experiencia fantástica: Had an amazing experience at Onedental today. It was my first visit. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the doctor were so warm and welcoming. The doctor did a great job explaining the game plan and next steps for resolving my dental problems. The hygienist was very gentle with her work. I was able to watch Netflix while the hygienist did my dental cleaning. I was given a hot towel after the treatment. The receptionist did a great job explaining what part of the dental work would be covered under insurance and what would not, and I could plan how I wanted to proceed. And if all of this wasn’t amazing enough, I was given a gift box with dental goodies because I was a new patient. They are killing it with the customer service. Highly recommend. The hype is real.

Experiencia fantástica: Quick, to the point and affordable! I had an accident while on vacation, chipped two front teeth. I had a client meeting the day after I returned from vacation and One Dental made room for an appointment and repaired my front teeth the same day! I was not sure how it would look, but it looks just like my original teeth. All under two hours from walking into the office to paying! They also prepared a plan for repairing my other teeth. Very professional and knowledgeable. I will be returning for my other dental needs!

Experiencia positiva: My dentist retired so I decided to switch to One Dental based on my mom's 2 visits there. Overall I was very pleased with the experience -- nice staff, on time, Dr. Kim took time to meet with me before the examination, clean office. My only issue was a somewhat uncomfortable cleaning because the hygienist used an ultrasonic scaler. I'll be asking for a manual cleaning at my next appointment. Otherwise, all good.
