Experiencia negativa: I had wisdom teeth removed here by Dr. Diercks and that was easy 5/5 experience, nothing to complain about (this is why 1 star instead of 0). But I also had 2 crowns and a chipped tooth repaired by Dr. Karamardian and both of those were abysmal. The pain on one of the crowns never went away. My next dentist asked why the crowns were of different materials (billed exactly the same on my insurance claim) and if one of them was done out of the country. The chipped tooth repair had an air bubble that resulted in a hole (same day), which had to be filled in on the next visit. The filler popped out within 6 months leaving a small hole in the tooth. Then the whole repair chipped within 5 years (yesterday), previous repair lasted almost 20 years. Billing practices are also borderline scam. The provider is out of network (which is fine) but they asked to pay an additional 10% on top of what's supposed to be covered "just in case" and then somehow had to sent an additional bill in the mail on top of that. I have no clue why this place is rated as high as it is.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this place. Had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. The doctor had a light hand. Felt great the next day with no pain. The lady doctor Vivian was was also great. Shes very kind and helpful with post op instructions. Come check them out!

Experiencia fantástica: Just had my teeth cleaned today by Betty and it was the best though cleaning I’ve ever had … my teeth feel so clean…

Experiencia negativa: Down to One Star after fraudulent invoices appearing months after my cleaning. Stay far away. The cleaning was very quick, and all the imaging was overkill, yet the price was acceptable. What I didn’t realize was the cleaning is ‘kept-acceptable-ish’ so they can upsell you on all the things Dr V tells you are wrong with all the ridiculous fancy imagining they do. After my cleaning was done I was walked into a used car salesman room and told to sit…. I did not sit, I walk out at this moment, This was before a deep sales pitch would have started with a barrage of ‘must fix now’ items Dr V mentioned earlier during my cleaning. Also, too many chairs and a flow of patients for me, I’m looking for a smaller 1-2 Dr office next.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. K. , Vivian and staff are so great! I used to HATE going to the dentist. I was fully TERRIFIED. Haha. I would cry, every time. Just being real, here! But this team is so gentle and patient with me, from the start. No more tears! They really turned my fear around to the point where i - I can't believe I'm writing this - i look forward to my checkups and cleanings! I have trusted them with my teeth, now, for several years and the time came when I needed the dreaded root canal. I was so scared! The horrible things that we all hear about root canals kept running through my mind. I came in for my appointment, crying. Vivian sat with me for several minutes, literally held my hand and did her best to distract me into a better state of mind. Dr. K checked in, too, and offered a smile and kind, reassuring words. I felt SO SUPPORTED and heard, by this team. Dr D. did a great job - the root canal was no big deal! I consider this team trusted partners in my dental care. I have Delta dental, so it's a bit of a pain having to deal with reimbursements but i would pay out of pocket, 100%, to be able to be in such good hands. So grateful for Los Gattos Dental Group!

This dental practice was recommended to me and from my first phone call, Jessica was courteous, kind and professional. When I explained my dental emergency, she was able to get me in quickly and explained the exam and cost upfront, which I really appreciated. Dr. Diercks walked in with a smile on his face, and immediately put me at ease. He was professional but relaxed and easy to talk to. After his exam, he explained what had happened and provided me with a few options. I think Dr. D is one of the best dentist I’ve ever seen! His dental assistant, Cathy was gentle, personable and all around extremely helpful. I highly recommend this dental practice!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Liza took care of my sensitive gum today morning. I found her to be attentive and patient in diagnosing the particular problem and not hurrying through any conclusions. She is equally receptive to the history of this problem and what worked and what did not in the past. Dr Liza also recommended a specific material to improve the condition of the gum for the specific area. The staff at this office were efficient; nice office with big windows and a lot of sun light.

When I called to ask if my insurance would cover my root canal, Los Gatos Dental gave me the lowest estimate compared to other in-network dentists. Based on that, I went ahead with the treatment. I paid a small amount upfront, but nine months later, they sent me a surprise bill for over $1,000. Now they’re threatening to send it to collections if I don’t pay. They originally told me I wouldn’t owe anything. My insurance processed the claim a month after the treatment, but I was never updated or informed about any balance. It feels like they lure patients in with low prices, then hit you with hidden charges later. Stay away from this dental office.
