Super friendly, understanding, they listened to my needs and what I was looking for and came up with a plan to help me achieve the smile I wanted. I had the icon filtration treatment done on my front two teeth, and it’s unrecognizable how amazing they look, no more white spots, pain free process. They even had a comfort menu to select from, where I chose a blanket and a stress ball, which really helped during the procedure if you’re someone who gets anxious at the dentist like me. I will be 100% returning to get my other teeth done in the near future.

Experiencia negativa: Serene is a beautiful enticing Dental Office with all the frills of a Spa Day including a laminated menu of treatment and frills to help you relax while having your procedure but it definitely was not worth the $251.00 I paid for my cleaning which normally would have been free! (Now I do need a 90 minute Massage treatment to get over the stress of paying this much for a cleaning.) BEWARE anyone whose insurance does not have this dental Office on their plan. I was assured twice by the staff. Once when making the appointment and once when I was paying for my cleaning that they accept Delta Dental. Well they do if you pay in advance! (The lady that I discussed this with did say that most was covered and the small difference that wasn't most clients paid because they liked coming here...hmmm) They told me that my insurance would send me a check. Well they did but for $76 dollars of the $327. I called Dental Delta (which I know I should have done prior but I had already been going to this dentist for a few years and everything was covered before for cleanings). They said seeing this dentist went out of network, I believe 2021, they would only reimburse me what was allowable for my plan with going to a 'out of network' dentist. (So My fault Obviously) Now I do need a 90 minute Massage treatment to get over the stress factor of paying this much for a cleaning. Again please follow up BEFORE starting a procedure as this Office has high prices compared to most dental Offices if paying out of pocket!!

The coffee, diffused water, fireplace, and water feature begin your dental experience. The menu items of attementies from hot stones, weighted blankets, neck wrap, oil diffusing, stress balls, and many more made me feel like I was at a spa. My daughter has been made fun of the discoloration in her teeth and Dr Horn was able to make them.look beautiful with the icon procedure. It is however an outstanding dentist. I'm almost 60 years old and I've been to a lot of dentists in 4 different countries. I’ve had great experiences here resolving a long term gum infection, repairing enamel erosion from severe acid reflux, and improving my overall oral hygiene habits. Along the way, I also chose to get Invisalign and eventually veneers to repair damage from a childhood accident and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure my visit is as comfortable as possible and offer things like a plush blanket, a heated neck wrap with an assortment of essential oils to choose from and it is so relaxing! It’s all of these extra little touches that make a big difference and I feel so cared for when I’m there. I can honestly say I love going to the dentist! I really could go on and on about the positive things I could say and how they make me feel. I have an almost 4 hour drive to get to this office and it is worth every second! I thought my front teeth would never look the same again after them breaking and other dentists doing poor work, but Dr. Horn restored my teeth to look amazingly beautiful and also restored my faith in dentists! I cannot recommend Serene Oaks enough, this is more than just a dental practice. I no longer dread going to the dentist and I have complete confidence in the whole team that works here! And I won’t forget to mention the calming fountain, coffee bar, warm cozy blankets, complimentary chapstick, tv on the ceiling, and spa-like atmosphere. Nobody said the dentist has to be boring!

Experiencia positiva: Thorough. Kind. June 2021 Update: Due to a change in insurance coverage I had to switch dentists and in hind sight have found Serene Oaks hygiene and billing practices to be more aggressive than necessary. Staff is still thorough and kind, but...Deep root scaling was performed regularly and our new dentist is telling us that isn't needed as often as was performed. Small cavities Serene said needed filling turned out to be only stains. They quoted me one price and tried to collect several hundred more when the work was done within a year, telling me their prices had gone up (during COVID). They honored the original quote after I was clear I wasn't going to pay the higher price. They tended to over collect on the day of service (we had dual insurance coverage) and then hang on to the credit (sometimes several hundred dollars) until the next visit. One time they told me I had a $1,000 credit, it took several months to get that refunded, and then just before Christmas they said it was a mistake and wanted it paid back. It's just not the way I want to do business.

If you have dentist visit anxiety I highly recommend serene oaks - my friends can hardly believe that being offered a blanket/neck pillow, and (pre covid) a paraffin hand dip treatment during my routine cleanings is standard. Every single person in the office made me feel welcome, and it's clear that these are all genuine, friendly professionals. Dr Loween is awesome. He always explains every step of the process and even called me personally the evening after a procedure to check on me. If you need dental work done in the Cities, I highly recommend Serene Oaks.

Starting with the front desk staff Amazing ladies very sweet to the point that you feel like you have known them forever, Kristen the doctor’s assistant was so nice, knowledgeable and loving and Dr. Loween I don’t have enough words to describe his kindness and love for what he does, he was put in my path because the Almighty knew I needed a gentle dentist. The team makes every effort to ensure my experience is as calming and pain free as possible. For someone who has some dental anxiety, this is very very important! I recently had a dental emergency the night before going on vacation. Dr Horn made herself and team available that evening and next day to help me and this resulted in a wonderful vacation with no tooth issues! I decided to come to serene oaks to have my front four teeth done, 3 veneers and an implant crown. I had always been so insecure about my smile but now I am not scared to show my teeth! They turned out better than I could’ve imagined, and I rest assured that Dr. Horn and her staff would do anything to make my teeth look perfect. Experiencia fantástica: I dont normally do reviews but I have to for this company and its staff. I have been to a lot of dentists in my time and I've had some really bad experiences and of course some good ones too but Serene Oaks Dental has by far been the best of them all. This is a very tough time for everyone right now but the team here has been so patient and helpful through it all. I had temporary teeth in when the lock down started and was unable to get my crowns when I was hoping for but they kept up with me, reassured me if anything happened they would help me out. Dr. Chad Loween has personally called multiple times to check on me and make sure I'm ok. The whole staff is kind and professional and ready to help as best they can. If you are looking for a good dentist this is the place to go!

When I sit in a dental chair, internally I feel like Dustin Hoffman in "Marathon Man." My first visit ended in a panic attack. Through their calm, gentle as they can be behaviour, I have two shiny new crowns. I'd suggest anyone with "dentist phobia" to become a patient with them.

I am always treated with coffees, warm blankets, neck warmers and more and that’s what makes this dental office so unique and special. From the get go Natalie was welcoming, informative, and eager to work with me. The dental assistants Mellie and Sarah were wonderful and so knowledgeable. Dr. Jesica Horn was phenomenal. She is truly a magician when it comes to cosmetic dentistry, in my case porcelain veneers. I give this business and its staff 5/5 stars for the above and beyond service that they have provided me with. Appreciate you all and thankful to have come to this office for my cosmetic dentistry.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here is wonderfully kind, gentle and attentive. The environment is incredibly welcoming and cozy, it’s the most comfortable I’ve been in a dentist office. They provided blankets to me, cappuccino and a relaxing wax hand dip. I would definitely recommend!
