Experiencia negativa: On my most recent visit for a cleaning, I refused treatment for a deep cleaning. The cost was over $500. They told me they could no longer treat me as a patient and I would need to find another dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Not a place you would want to go.. I went in for a pain and cleaning and later they said they don't do cleaning in the appointment I booked . it is only for pin, and they couldn't identify the problem, the person/nurse was gone and was constantly talking to some other employee, while I was waiting and did not get any solution. I did verify my insurance, they said the imaging is covered after verification and guess what- It wasn't. They just try to get you in with claims and then the problem doesn't get solved or the payment despite being in-network. I have never had an issue like this before and I have used dental services all over the country.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter had 2 wisdom teeth extracted yesterday. Afterwards she was in severe pain. She was only given ibuprofen for pain even after I was assured by staff that she would have adequate pain medicine . I called the on call Doctor and no one returned my phone call, I called the next day and the office staff told me, "that is what we do for all teeth extractions." There was no apology for on call doctor not returning our call or consult with the Dentist or check on how they could help her. We paid 1300.00 dollars for this and we would expect something better than this. I will say the staff was nice during her procedure but they did not follow up or take care of her adequately afterward and now I may have to take her to the ER because of her pain.

Experiencia negativa: My experience at Morgan Dental was extremely unpleasant. It was my first time being seen in this office and my first time going to a dentist in a long time. The dental hygienist was very nice and pleasant. However, the whole visit lacked proper explanation. I waited a longgg time for the dentist to finally arrive. First, they mistook me for someone else and did not apologize for the mistake. The whole time it seemed like they were in a rush had more important things to do than to tend to me. The dentist started yelling out random numbers to the hygienist as they were looking at my teeth and did not explain what they meant. Moreover, the dentist gave me attitude and looked at me like I was stupid for not being aware that the empty space at the back of my mouth should be filled. It was not until I was walking out of the office that I was finally informed I had several cavities and needed to return for 2 more appointments to have them done. In the future, I recommend the hygienists and dentists to go through a step by step explanation with the patient of what is going to happen in the visit. A proper and RESPECTFUL explanation of their dental health and what procedures they recommend should be given BEFORE they leave the patient chair, especially for first time patients.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m so glad I found this local office. They are patient, loving. sensitive, care. I went in for pain and they found exactly what it was and fixed it quickly. Scheduling is not hard to do. I wish I found this local office long time ago. I can’t remember the doctors name but I would tell any and everyone if your not happy with your dentist. Experiencia negativa: Doctor Mimi has no idea what she is doing. I went to her and was told I had cavities and I immediately scheduled appointments for them. She told me because I had allergies I would need a medical clearance from my primary care physician. I was new to this procedure because I’m allergic to tree nuts. That’s all. I received medical clearance and she was not confident and hand wrote a note for my physician to sign which he did. She also wanted to know if I was allergic to water. I came the third time to get a cavity filled after being turned away each time because she didn’t feel confident. She would turn me away after numbing me. She told me I could go to another dentist office or I can provide detail list of allergies by getting testing done for components in the procedure. She spoke with my allergist and was not sure. I ultimately gave up with her and went to BrightSmiles. 10/10 service where I didn’t have to wait for the someone to show up to work to begin. I was informed that I needed a root canal. And maybe she couldn’t do one so was making me run in circles. Overall, I got the root canal at BrightSmiles. I’m glad she didn’t do it because I would have gotten a filling when I needed a root canal.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment today for a routine cleaning, something that my insurance covers every 6 months, no issues. But instead of actually cleaning my teeth, I got hit with a surprise message saying I’d owe about $70 out of pocket because of "plan frequency." When I showed up to ask what that meant, I learned the real reason: they refused to clean my teeth unless I first got x-rays done - because my last x-ray was "a year ago," and apparently that’s now a deal-breaker. Let me be clear: the cleaning is covered, but they won’t do the cleaning unless I pay for x-rays, which are not covered. That’s like going to a car shop for a free oil change and being told they won’t touch your car until you pay for full diagnostics, even if nothing is wrong. This is an upsell tactic rather than a medically justified necessity. It’s shady, misleading, and wasteful. They could’ve made a bit of money. They wanted a lot of money, so in the end they made nothing.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great place to go esp if you don't have dental insurace, They have a yearly plan that you can use and are very transparent about costs, which is always appreicated! I have always gotten quality care and have found the dental hygenists/dentist and office managers/receptionists to be kind and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I had teeth a cleaning today. The Dental hy. was excellent. He spent time explaining each procedure. Had me signal if I was uncomfortable. FSU Morgan dental is top notch. VA community care is helpful especially for Veterans in their 70s. We dont have to travel hours for care. Thus the coordination between Community Care and Morgan seems flawless. The VAs Choosing of Morgan Dental is a great choice! I find all their people to be courteous and. professional. At the same they're down to earth. There office personnel seem to be able to navigate the VA portal and work out the red tape. Not all community care run as smoothly. I give them my highest recommendation for any Veteran needing dental work. Carl Smith

Experiencia negativa: Although the dentist, hygienists, and assistants were very helpful. Upon cancellation of my appointment due to health issues, the receptionist was very rude. I called early in the morning to let them know, I got another call for confirmation about an hour later. Once I called to confirm it was cancelled earlier in the morning, I was met with complete attitude and disrespect.

Experiencia fantástica: Pleasantly pleased with Dr. Durham and the staff. I wish I could remember his assistant’s name for my appointment, but all in all I had a great experience as a new patient, and I would recommend them over and over. I had a filling on my front tooth from a previous dental office that was not done correctly and I felt as if it ruined my smile which is one of my best features. Dr. Durham fixed it and I feel like I finally have my smile back that I’ve missed for the last year. Thank you! ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient at Morgan Dental for a couple of years now and after my most recent experience, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I went in to get a crown for a tooth I had cracked while eating. The first appointment consisted of prepping the tooth and putting on a temporary crown - went great. The 2nd appointment was for putting on the permanent crown. My dentist tells me at the end that the crown was seated incorrectly and that we would have to take it off and redo the permanent crown. It was also way too large for my mouth. When I told her this she asked me why I didn't let her know before cementing it. Mind you, they are the professionals and a quick look into my mouth showed the size difference between the rest of my teeth and the one with the crown. My now 3rd appointment consisted of taking off the permanent crown (not a fun process) and putting on another temporary crown. The assistant was very obviously new and had no idea what he was doing, often asking me what Dr Mini had said. He made the temporary crown, put it in place, etc. and I don't believe the dentist checked his work after. This appointment was a horrible experience. Later that night while brushing my teeth - the temporary crown cracks - it lasted about 6ish hours. I had to call Morgan Dental and come back in for a 4th appointment to put in a THIRD temporary crown during this process. Their way of rectifying the multiple mistakes and lack of quality in their work was giving me a $50 refund on a service that was about $2000 (about $850 out of pocket after insurance). My 5th appointment was for my second permanent crown on this tooth. By this point my tooth is sensitive and I am anxious to be done with Morgan Dental. The permanent crown gets put in, all is well and I leave. Every single appointment I left with the corner of my mouth ripped due to how rough the dentist was with using tools to pull my head to her liking rather than speaking to me like a person and asking me to move. Morgan Dental does not care if you have to take off 3 additional times from work due to their mistakes and a $50 refund is insulting after how this experience was. I will never come back and I advise everyone to find a different office that will prioritize quality over getting as many patients in and out as possible.

Experiencia fantástica: I feel for the people writing some of these negative reviews but personally I have had great experiences here. They take lots of insurance plans and they have booked me sooner than every other dentist I’ve called when I’ve had painful chips that needed to be filled ASAP. Dr. Dominique Durham is an amazing and experienced dentist. He has done three fillings of mine and has made the process as painless and quick as possible. The fillings are durable and I havent experienced sensitivity when eating after getting them done, which I am grateful for.

Experiencia negativa: This is one of those things where you just want to ask where did this Dr receive his training and experience from. They initially sold me on a good idea to have a bridge done even though I’d never seen them they saw my records from the VA and knew that I was previously getting work done at another facility that tried to dupe the VA on a prior visit to another facility. So this Dr while shaving my tooth down went too far and damaged the nerves in my mouth. I went in to see exactly how bad it was since I was heavily dosed on my last visit. When the assistant removed the temporary and tried to put the asterisk it hurt like HELL. I asked her to let me out of the seat and of course they tried to sell me on “The Dr has a plan”, I said no I will go somewhere else to let them see what they had done and try to get it fixed. They even had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to see the bridge they had made for me like I would just accept what they’d done. I’ve been drinking through a straw since my dealings with the practice. The dentist name is Durham I think but if you’re scheduled to see them think again.

Experiencia fantástica: Right on the FSU campus, I had a very pleasant 'visit' at this office and I was treated with care and understanding.Dr. Lupu and his assistant worked together as a unit and I was taken care of giving me the options and didn't judge my decisions.....I even laughed during the procedure ( that's hard for me to show publicly) and I feel better now...the drill/cutting thing was the only drawback...the sound was sooo loud in my ear but it was better than being in pain, believe me. Experiencia negativa: If you neglect to cancel an appointment and you miss it you’re charged $50 to your card on file. However I had an appointment for months in advance for a cleaning, and was told less than 24 hours before the appointment that they did not have a provider available to do the cleaning. The only day they could reschedule me on was a day where I have to work, and refused to accommodate me until April. They refused to even attempt to work me in on another day in the near future, claiming that they’re fully booked. They had already previously left a bad taste in my mouth my recommending two root canals, when in fact I actually only need two fillings instead, according to a second opinion at another dental office. Will not be using again since clearly their goal is to make money instead of actually help customers.

Experiencia negativa: My first couple of visits I went in to get x-rays and a cleaning a few weeks after. I was told about my two upper wisdom teeth that need to be removed and nothing else. After a couple of months I started to complain about my pain coming from my bottom jaw, the Indian dentist told me it’s because food get stuck in between my teeth (very rudely and very dismissive.) I knew I had to find another Dental office which I did. My first visit to the other dental office, I was just shocked. They gave me list of problems and concerns about my oral health, I made excuses in my head for dentist at morgan dental office all day but truth is, they’ll rush you because they have a whole bunch of appointments, the Indian dentist is very rude and they overlooked a lot of things that could’ve been detrimental to my oral health. Overall I give them a 2 start because the younger ladies in the front are nice except for the older brown skin woman, they do clean your teeth which is what they are supposed to do I guess. I don’t and won’t recommend this dental office because they are always rushing and can miss the simplest things which can be affect one’s health in a negative manner.

I appreciate the concern but kinda upsetting to get up and head to the dentist only to go home without even starting dental work. Is blood pressure testing before X-rays a new thing ? Experiencia fantástica: I had to have a damaged tooth pulled right before the Christmas holidays.Since I didn't have a regular dentist Noone would see me until after the 1st of the year.I was referred to Morgan and associates. When I called the receptionist set up an appointment for meas soon as I could get to the office. The entire staff was very nice and professional. The dentist and his assistant were excellent. I have never had a tooth extraction without a lot of soreness. He was so gentle there was no pain that I have associated with having a tooth pulled. I highly recommend Morgan and associates. This is the first time I have ever left a review for anybody. Everyone was great. Thank you again Morgan and associates.

Experiencia fantástica: I should first say that because I did not have dental insurance I did not go to a dentist for 32 years. I recently received dental insurance and was able to schedule a first appointment at the FSU campus within a month of calling. I am not a member of the FSU community. I used my GPS to find the Wellness Center, and there is ample patient parking next to the Center. I was particularly concerned because I have a medical situation that requires a pre-medication prior to dental procedures, and my primary care physician called in the prescription. Henceforth, the dentist will call in the prescription. The office staff were friendly and efficient, and were even decorating the office with balloons in FSU colors. The dental assistant, Hope, did a great job with xrays, and the dental hygienist did her job well very well. The dentist Dr. Mini, set up an excellent plan of care. I received a copy of the appointment-by-appointment plan with costs. While I did sign for the plan of care I am under no financial commitment for payment until I receive each individual service. At no time did I feel demeaned or judged for the 32-year lapse in dental care, but rather supported in my steps to pursue dental care as a part of healthy care. Oh yes, the office plays healthy-dental-care videos during the examination which can distract the mind and minimize anxiety. I want to post an update on services received over the past 2 months. I had 2 teeth removed on separate occasions, and can say that the dentists who did the procedures minimized the pain. Great followup care and directions when I left the offices. Payment went smoothly and mistake-free. I also had a followup visit with the dental hygienist, who gave me an encouraging report that the peritonitis had diminished. Overall I am highly motivated to keep up with my dental appointments as well as brushing and flossing. Because the professionals at my first appointment were so sympathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental about my 32-year lapse in dental care, I feel confident about my homecare as well as future visits to the dentist/ hygienist.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible customer service and overall dental care. I had an implant that they put in and was feeling a bit lose. I went in for them to tighten it and the dentist, Dr. Patel, literally ripped the damn implant from the bone graft. I was in the worst pain and the implant fell out that evening. Billing was always incorrect and I had to get fixed almost every single time. At the end of 2022, an audit of my flexible spending account discovered they had overcharged me by several hundred dollars for all the work I had done. They weren't even going to say anything until we discovered it on my end and requested a reimbursement. Some of the dental hygienist were great, but not enough to make up for the awful experiences here. I left then and went to another dentist. They had new xrays of my teeth done and found a lesion. Apparently this had been present in xrays done at Morgan Dental and no one said anything!!! And now they are seeing kids for pediatric care! I would caution to keep everyone away, especially children.

Experiencia negativa: I NEVER write reviews. I feel so strongly cheated and disrespected by this dental practice that I am writing one. Please read. TLDR: I’ve been here before and had great experiences! I even bought their in-house dental insurance. But in the past MONTH: they cancelled my tooth extraction 4 days in advance, they didn’t let me reschedule it for a month, got overcharged for dental services, and got berated by a doctor over the phone for asking a question. I am so serious: don’t go here unless you want to be berated and disrespected and taken advantage of. Full story: I had my wisdom teeth consultation in early August and the doctor said my wisdom teeth are impacting the others and need to be removed immediately! Okay! My wisdom teeth extraction got scheduled for mid August before school started, BUT they called me four days before my procedure date and cancelled because they’re getting a new doctor (??) okay but whatever. Try to reschedule but they say they don’t know the new doctor’s availability until September 11th but I’ll be the first one they call! Okay whatever. I wait a month…no call! I call myself on September 17th and get an appointment for Nov 1st. Great! At the end of the call I say “thank you so much for helping me, I just had one more question, is it possible that I could get a discount, because my original appointment got cancelled 4 days in advance and I’ve had to change my whole semester around because of it.” Mind you my teeth are also impacting and I’ve had to push back my procedure date by 4 months now! (+ it’s a 5,000 dollar procedure!) Receptionist says she’ll pass me over to the doctor (wish i got the name). Okay! Relay the same info to the doctor. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE??? She chews me out, berates me, any word you can think of. I am so stupid for asking, not their fault I wasn’t available on Sept 11th (?? I don’t even think she knows what she’s talking about), the doctors have such limited availability which makes it 100% okay to cancel 4 days in advance, etc. etc. MIND YOUU this whole time I would’ve taken no for an answer. She is chewing me out so badly I start crying. I ask to cancel all my appointments with this dental practice (teeth cleaning and tooth extraction). She hears me crying and sarcastically says “okay sweetie.” No sorry no nothing. Anything. I hang up. I’ve bent over backwards with this company’s awful rescheduling and waiting a month to make another appointment and I’ve been nice and patient through all of it. But at the very end, when I ask for an INCH of compensation or apology I get chewed out for being so unreasonable and stupid and foolish.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Mimi took care of me. She initially told me I had three cavities. Randomly, during my third visit, she told me I had a fourth cavity and that I had to come back. During my third (and last) visit, the syringe she used to numb the area around my molar that needed a filling left me sore and in pain for a week afterwards. Usually, the pain/soreness of the numbing needle goes away after a day. It left me with mouth sores in the shape of the needle. I assume it wasn't done correctly. The three fillings I had were done terribly so. They lack the shape my molars used to be. Usually, your molars have ridges. The fillings Dr. Mimi gave me were smooth. So smooth they feel foreign in my mouth and food is constantly getting stuck on top of the fillings because they do not match the previous shape of my tooth. Very poor job. ALSO, one of the cavities I had filled in the fall of 2023 has chipped summer of 2024. Thankfully, I will not be going back. Though, they were very kind at the office. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

Experiencia negativa: When I first visited this clinic for a consultation, I made sure I got an sheet detailing the work and the cost of each procedure. On the day of the consultation, I decided to pay one of the future visits ahead of time. On the day of my first real visit, staff told me I owed money. I reminded them I had prepaid. On my next visit, I got work done and this time they charged me twice for the current and the past visit. I told staff again that I had already paid for the last visit and they refunded me... Again, on my third visit, there was more confusion with my billing, when it was clear that I had prepaid and I was up-to-date with all of my payments per the original sheet detailing all procedures and costs. This time (3rd visit), to my surprise, front desk staff told me I owed a significant amount. This charge had nothing to do with the payment schedule that they had given me on my first consultation. The Manager explained to me that my insurance company did not cover a particular procedure and that I was responsible for paying it. I told her I didn't understand because my initial paperwork clearly stated what I was responsible for paying. We were months past (and I had been at the clinic a few times now) and that this should have been sorted out a long time ago. The Manager asked me to reach out to my insurance company. I reached out to my insurance; they made it very clear that they had paid for my procedure and that I should not be receiving this bill. After so many back and forth between me, the clinic and the insurance company, I told the clinic, that it not fair that I was spending so much time calling them and the insurance only to be told by my insurance that they had paid and the mistake was not on their end. Finally, the Manager, me and the insurance were on the same call, and it turned out the insurance company was correct and after all of the payments I had made, I did not owe close to $500??, in fact it turned out, the clinic owed me money; I had overpaid. After such long call and finally some clarity, the Manager asked if I wanted to apply the refund as credit for a future visit. I was surprised that she could only think about collecting/keeping my money for a future visit I had not agreed to. I told her I wanted to be refunded. 6 months later, thinking they should have their billing sorted out, I decided to return. After the procedure, again, I fully paid what I owed. Weeks or a month later, I get 2 invoices from the clinic requesting me to pay for the same procedure I had already paid. I called the clinic and told them I had proof on my HSA of all of my payments and that I did not owe any money. The young lady who handled my call was extremely rude and after acknowledging that I did not owe any money, while I was speaking to her, she hung up on me. Later, I sent an email to the clinic via their website explaining how rude the staff was and that I would never go back to their clinic. They never replied to my complaint, but months later, they had the audacity to send me an email to remind me to use the money that my company had given me for the year before I lose it. Again the focus is on collecting money from me. Anyway, If you decide to choose this clinic, keep the invoice of the works and prices. Contact your insurance before starting any work. Your insurance company will be able to tell you what they will cover and what you will need to pay. Keep all receipts. If things don't add up, most likely, the issue is not you... You may even find out that you paid more than you should and you would have never known if you had not insisted.

Experiencia negativa: Overpaid for services. Front desk worker is rude. Do not recommend. Waited for 2 hours for a cleaning, only to not receive my cleaning. They also claimed that a cleaning would take 4 hours, which is incompetent and false. Heavy handed hygienists that hurt your gums and teeth. Beware of you are an FSU student.

Experiencia negativa: PSA Morgan dental associates has completely let me down, I have gone to them for a few things and have had a typically good experience but today I was calling for my wife to get her booked to get some teeth pulled they had asked for clearance for it (fine okay since she’s pregnant ) no problem called our midwife from the birthing cottage got them to fax the letter saying it was fine (we also had seen her normal dentist and said it was no problem just needed an oral surgeon ) we get a call back shortly “can I please speak to your wife” thought it was odd because I was setting it all up but okay sure they proceeded to tell her “sorry but you need a real doctor to confirm” witch was outrageous our midwife is a legal practitioner I call our midwife and tell her and she’s upset she calls Morgan dental and they tell her “we never said that” then THEY CALL US BACK and say “ just by the way our dentist reserves to refuse anyone for any reason but we will let you know “ so I already know what that means they call back and tell us “the dentist has opted to refuse you” I am beyond disappointed with this and this whole situation is horrible Morgan Dental Associates do better

Experiencia negativa: I had a root canal done at this hospital and paid $1250 after my insurance coverage. But later, they asked for an extra $807, claiming it was for an expensive crown, which they hadn't told me about earlier. My insurance said I only owed $639. So, if you're an international student, I'd recommend being careful with this hospital. They might charge you more than expected and their service was not great. After 1.5 months they are asking me for extra money. Worst experience in my life. “Highly not recommended for students”

Experiencia negativa: In summary: the owner of this place is extremely rude and unhelpful. She gave me false information multiple times and overcharged me for a service she originally said would be free (included in my $400 membership that I had already paid). But didn’t tell me until after I already got my teeth cleaned at which point it was too late and made me pay out of pocket on the spot after the appointment which I would have never gone to had they been truthful and transparent about the price. So be careful, because this place was sketchy and deceptive. The details of my experience: I had gotten my teeth cleaned with them last year and they encouraged me to sign up for their dental membership program since I didn’t have dental insurance. So I paid the $400 per year for that and had an appointment scheduled for last year. Then they kept calling me to reschedule due to problems on their end (ie the dentist was out of town or unavailable, etc) so I checked with them to make sure my appointment would still be covered by the membership (free) if I rescheduled and they kept telling me yes it would be free. I had a bad feeling though they might try to say otherwise when I got there so I even triple checked each time they rescheduled with whoever called to reschedule at their desk. Well now 8 months later they were finally able to get me in and they did the cleaning and didn’t tell me until afterwards that my membership was expired and I would have to pay out of pocket or renew it for another $400 to have it still be “complimentary”. If I would have known it was not going to be included in my membership I would have cancelled completely and waited til I could afford to renew. But instead they gave me false information and did not tell me until after it was too late. And of course for their mistakes I have to pay, not them. The lady at the front desk then spoke to her manager and said she could give me a small discount (which did not even make a difference). When I tried speaking to that manager to see if they could honor what they said over the phone multiple times about todays cleaning being included in my membership, she rudely stated she couldn’t and dismissed me. And unfortunately she said she doesn’t have anyone else I could talk to since she owns/runs this office and 5 others. So I ended up paying out of pocket. Moral of the story, don’t trust this office; they will screw you over and the owner is rude and clearly does not care about the quality of business or client satisfaction.

Experiencia negativa: So. I visited this dentist for an "emergency" dental appointment in Spring 2023. They brought me in, and proceeded to sit me in a chair for three hours while patients were being worked on around me. After four full hours, I ended up leaving without having gotten any help. Then, in Fall 2023, I called to make an appointment. They were booked out until March, so I took an appointment in March. Come February, they called me to tell me that they could not honor my appointment in March because they didn't have enough staffing. Could I come in the following week? I said yes, but then I got Covid and couldn't come in. When I called to rebook, they could not get me in until MAY. May! So, they cancelled my appointment in March, booked me earlier, I was sick, and then they could not book me until three months later. Idk what is going on here, but it does not seem like these people have it together. I just wish my March appointment hadn't been cancelled so I could have gotten in to see someone, but now I'll definitely be using another dentist. What a bummer.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very anxious coming in for a deep cleaning. My appt was at 8 and they had me in the chair by 8:05. Right when I sat in the chair my anxiety took over and I started crying. Cat or Kat (sorry) walked me through each step before and as we went. Her voice and demeanor alone calmed me down almost immediately. I haven’t been to the dentist in years because of my anxiety. Cat made my visit very comfortable and checked on me the whole time. I made my 2nd appt for two days later with her which is a huge step for me. Thanks to cat. Clearly this isn’t her first rodeo but I’m sure she doesn’t get all the acknowledgement she deserves . Experiencia fantástica: Prompt appointments, excellent care, and responsive office staff. My son (an FSU student) chipped his tooth and we couldn't get him home to see his usual dentist so we contacted Morgan Dental. They were able to see him quickly and repair the chip beautifully. You can't even tell it's been repaired. There was a small billing issue afterwards that the office staff remedied promptly. Thank you, Morgan Dental!

Experiencia negativa: I had a scheduled dental appointment at 8 am TODAY, but unfortunately, the hygienist called in sick. Instead of being notified at 7:30 I received a call at 7:55. By then, I had already driven 30 minutes, woke up early, and taken time off from work, only to find my time wasted. The only solution I received was rescheduling for next Wednesday at 2 PM and i refuse to rearrange my schedule at the last minute because of a lack of inconvenience due to the office.

Experiencia negativa: I cannot express how terrible my experience was here. I would never recommend anyone to go here. My worst experience was when dental student was assigned to take measurements for a crown fitting. She took a very long time to do them, and measured the space incorrectly, leaving me with a very poorly “fitted” temporary crown. For weeks I was left in chronic, severe pain until my next appointment- being told that pain while waiting for the crown appointment. I called to ask them to check it and they said no, some pain post appointment is normal see you in two weeks… After two weeks of daily face icing, tylenol every few hours and soft food diet, at the crown placement appointment they said “oh no this was measured wrong” so I had to go through ANOTHER extremely painful fitting + placement in a couple of weeks. During both of these crown appointments they struggled to get/keep me numb which only added to the severe pain that I was already in. I can no explain to you how much they did not care, except for one kind dentist when I was literally crying in her chair because of the pain. When they dropped FSU’s dental insurance, I started seeing a new dentist and was upset to learn that fillings done at Morgan Dental (should have lasted years) already need to be replaced 1-2 years later. This was a huge waste of time, money, and weeks off of work for the literal pain I was in due to their carelessness.

Aya, the hygienist, was exceptionally friendly, professional, and considerate, making my care a priority with minimal discomfort. Dr. Durham, the dentist, displayed both kindness and professionalism, efficiently completing two fillings with minimal pain. Mina, the dental assistant, was knowledgeable and friendly. Experiencia negativa: Can't seem to nail down an appointment time with any of the dentists in the office, not that I would want to. They constantly call to reschedule appointments I've made, even after I've explained my busy schedule and that I can't accommodate their ever-changing availability. The dentist I've seen doesn't explain treatment or what they're doing until they're done, so you're put on the spot and have to pay for it. The only reason I gave two stars is for the very sweet and understanding receptionist I've spoken to. The other receptionist, however, should learn to wait until they've hung up the phone to speak negatively about patients. We can hear you when the line is still connected.

Experiencia positiva: To start: the front desk secretary was fantastic, welcoming and punctual in speaking to me when I entered at 1030am (appointment was at 11am). My first "attendant": I say attendant because I honestly don't know who he was. He came out to retrieve me at 1130. Yes, you read that right, 30mins after my appointment time. He stumbled around and fumbled his words as if he didn't know what he was doing. He had a very soft voice and kept talking behind me so I couldn't even make out anything he was saying. There was a lot of "huh", "what" and "can you speak up" from me. I suppose he may have been training, but if that's the case an upfront disclosure would have been nice. Why? These are my teeth, and this is a stranger inside of my mouth. Others may not have a problem with these facts, but I want a confident expert working on my teeth. Not someone that may injure me. And here's a little known fact; injuries in the mouth can lead to permanent paralysis of the face, permanent numbness of the face neck and upper body, permanent loss of taste, blindness, etc. TEETH ARE IMPORTANT! Lastly; because of what I believe is incompetence I didn't leave until after 145. Normally an initial appointment is lengthy considering my complicated history, however this is preposterous. I will look into other dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: Very attentive and kind hygienists and desk staff. My teeth are so clean and I feel knowledgeable about my mouth’s health. When taking x-rays I always struggle with the bite wing piece. The hygienist was excellent and extremely patient/compassionate with me. She was able to get the images she needed with very few redos (I moved a few times) and made sure to give my mouth some breaks. The doctor was thorough and explained in detail without being overwhelming my teeth and gum health. I had not been to the dentist since before Covid and I honestly was dreading this appointment. They made this morning an absolute breeze and I’m so happy I went. I honestly can’t wait to go back in 6months and I normally really dislike dental appointments.

Experiencia negativa: Trolls. They damaged a tooth and then went FULL TRUMP, lying about what they had done, full throttle. I had to visit another dentist to get my chipped tooth repaired. Never again. Even worse, that dentist found out where I had my tooth repaired 50 miles from Tallahassee.. He called that dentist and made sure that dentist would no longer see me. The owner is a conplete idiot, To this doctor, 'Do no harm' means defend your ego up to and including bad mouthing patients to defend his incompetence. Perfect for Florida State.

Experiencia negativa: Morgan Dental Associates moves as a business with student dentists who need more training. From my experience, I always felt that their office had poor intentions. I received a botched root canal from this office a couple of years ago. When I went to Morgan Dental Associates I was worried about a rear molar since I was feeling sharp cold when I drank or ate anything cold. I was told I needed a root canal. During my root canal, the dentist, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall at this point, left a piece of metal in my gum during the procedure. He had casually mentioned that he couldn't fish it out and that he was going to leave it there. The porcelain crown that he put on was also very snug. He forced it on and even though it didn't sit properly on my tooth, he left it as is. The procedure was over $2,000 and they had planned for me to come back to take care of three cavities for another $90 per cavity. I felt like I was being hustled and never went back per their suggestion to fill my "cavities." Fast forward to the present and I've been having this weird feeling where my root canal happened. Although it doesn't hurt, I do have a strange sensation. I sought a new dentist where I currently live and she did x-rays on me. She unveiled to me that I have an infection where the root canal took place and she commented that the job was poorly done. She even mentioned that whoever did my root canal needed more schooling.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give Dr. Majumdar 0 stars, I would. By far the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. I went in to have a cavity filled. After an X-ray, I had a crack in my tooth and I was quoted a filling for $100 and was told it would take an hour tops. In the end, I ended up paying well over $2000 and was there for almost 4 hours and left with a crown. The dentist kept seeing other patients in the middle of my ‘filling’ and had to re-numb me 4 different times (after me feeling the drill). She cut my tongue with the drill and screamed at me for moving when I couldn’t even feel my tongue. There was blood everywhere. On top of the whole experience being terrible, when I went to leave, the crown she had just done fell out before I even left the office. Dr. Majumdar is the worst dentist ever. She has left me terrified to ever go back to the dentist. Save yourself the trauma and go literally anywhere else.
