Experiencia negativa: My daughter visited this dental office for the first time on her own. During her appointment, Ashley explained the treatment process and informed her that the office would submit the information to the insurance company and take care of everything. Based on that understanding, my daughter proceeded with the treatment and made the requested payment. Several months later, we received a phone call requesting an additional payment. When we contacted the insurance company, we were informed that the dental office had never submitted a formal request for approval. Instead, they only submitted a quote for a crown, even though my daughter only needed a filling. A quote is not the same as an approved claim. What is most frustrating is not the additional payment itself, but the lack of communication and transparency. My daughter trusted the office to handle the insurance properly. She was told that the treatment was approved and that she only needed to pay the difference, which she did. Later, we were informed that the insurance paid $48.00 instead of $68.00, but at no point were we clearly advised that the treatment had not been formally approved or that there could be additional charges. When I contacted the office to discuss this matter, I did not feel the situation was handled with the level of professionalism it required. Clear communication and proper insurance verification are essential, especially when dealing with young patients who may not fully understand the process. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication practices to prevent other families from experiencing similar frustration.

Experiencia negativa: The receptionsists were wonderful as well as the staff. they made my experience with getting a filling very comfortable because it was my first time. I paid and left and everything went smoothly, until a month later after everything was already done Ashley contacted me asking to pay another $200 after I had already paid $200 and signed on that agreement. When I tried to ask her why she was very rude and quickly blamed my insurance but was not helpful in trying to understand the situation at all. She talked to me like I was stupid and it was really frustrating because if I would’ve known it was that much from the start I would’ve found somewhere else. I am very disappointed because the actually dentists themselves were so sweet, but because of Ashley I will not be returning and I truly hope she can be more kind and understanding to other clients so that someone doesn’t have to experience getting treated like that.

Experiencia fantástica: I made this appointment after many years of not going to the dentist, so I was understandably a little nervous. I decided to go with this establishment, because the reviews were good and the place, itself looked kind and inviting. Due to many different unfortunate events, I have had to change the appointment many different times, but the staff have always been very kind, understanding and amendable about changing the time. When the time came to have the actual appointment, Madison was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was going to do and why (the many different types of x rays and what she saw). I felt very safe and not judged. Then, the Dr. Bukata came in and explained the different things she saw and how she wanted to treat. I must also mention both Dr. Bukata and Madison were very gentle and did their best to minimize any pain or discomfort. I am thankful for their work and am sad that Madison is going to be moving. But I have confidence that whomever works with me and my mouth, will be just as patient, kind, and gentle like both of these nice ladies.

She contacted the dentist and was able to rework (her always busy schedule) to treat him. Truly a Blessing to be one of her patients. Very amazing Team at this location.

Experiencia negativa: Not sure who’s in charge of letting the insurance companies know if you’re in network or not but this is absolutely ridiculous. I scheduled an appointment because on my insurance it says you guys were in network then I get a call saying you don’t accept my insurance. I then scheduled an appointment for my mom, who has Medicare, because it said you were in-network. We show up to the appointment just to find out you don’t even accept Medicare. This is super inconvenient and do a better a job in getting these insurance companies to remove you if you don’t accept the insurance because it honestly feels like a bait and switch. The lady at the front desk tried selling us on a monthly savings plan. Either way, very sneaky.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my second visit to Tioga Dental at Celebration Pointe; I was scheduled for an evaluation by Nate who is my Dental Hygienist. Kathy, the Medical Administrative Support greeted me immediately with a smile when I approached the desk. She was very friendly. She advised me that Nate would be out shortly to call me back. I sat down in the waiting room and within five minutes Nate came and called me back to the room. After he examined my teeth, he determined I did require another cleaning which he performed. I am so glad that he was assigned to be my hygienist. He notices if your gums are irritated from aggressive brushing or gingivitis and is extra gentle with plaque removal in those areas. If you still have pain, he will apply gel to numb those areas which works well. It is obvious he truly cares about his patients. He is also very friendly and personable. I was in and out under an hour. Kathy checked me out and was just as friendly as when I checked in. I truly appreciate everyone at Tioga Dental at Celebration Pointe including my Dentist, Dr. Bhukta, who is also wonderful. She's a fantastic dentist but is also very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I am very happy at Tioga Dental at Celebration Pointe.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to Tioga Dental in Celebration Point since 2021. I’ve never had a bad experience, but never one to really write home about until today. I have never had bite wing images taken that, at some point, didn’t hurt the roof of my mouth, but hygienist Nate worked his magic and it DID NOT HURT for the first time in my 30 something years! My cleaning by Nate was also phenomenal and quick. Then I had to have a cavity filled in a very sensitive space but the dentist made sure I was numb enough before she started, and I didn’t feel a thing! I highly recommend Tioga Dental, even if you don’t get Nate or the dentist I had. Everyone there is proficient and professional, including the front desk staff!

I went to Aspen and Coast Dental before, and they were not friendly at all and tried to sell me treatments I didn’t need and refused to perform routine cleaning. One thing I didn’t know that Tioga Dental doesn’t accept HMO’s, so I had to pay out of pocket, which was a total of ~$250 for exam and a deep cleaning.

I had all the work done for a crown in a timely manner I returned for dental cleaning and was very pleased with the results and all involved.

Experiencia fantástica: Update Jan. 2025: Dr. Bhakta is my new FAVORITE dentist! The ladies up front are still amazing Victoria (my favorite), Ashley & Kathy! My awesome Dental Hygienist Madison but most importantly "Nicole" you're a Rockstar, by my side since the beginning! Great place and will get you in right away. Excellent communication. Words cannot describe how thrilled I am with the service at Tioga Celebrations Point. The staff is warm and inviting. I was seen right away, everyone so friendly but two are Supestars My Super Hero Charles & Wonder Woman Dr. McLennon. Tag team duo who went above and beyond. I went in expecting to get just an exam and schedule appointments at a later date for 3 veneer replacements and 4 zoom treatments. Not only did they rework the schedule to fit me in today..they stayed late to make sure i got the final zoom treatment. Unbelievable customer service. I highly recommend. Place is beautiful, large windows views and free tv to watch, while being treated. If ur unhappy with your dentist...leave them now and go here. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a wonderful experience from the moment my daughter and I walked in until we left. The receptionist was kind and friendly. The dental assistant, Sara, put my 10-year-old daughter at ease and chatted with us very warmly. Such a pretty young lady! We really liked her. She is young, but very mature. She was so nice, professional, articulate, and had a sense of humor. I appreciated her. She also kept constantly wiping down surfaces and areas with cleaning wipes after we got started, and changed her gloves accordingly. That was huge for me! Cleanliness is so important in a dentist office. Dr Bahtka (may have spelled that wrong) was AMAZING! She was patient, warm, very knowledgeable, and also had a great sense of humor. I love the way she explained things, and we just felt valued. There was another lady, possibly a dental assistant named Nicole, and she gave my daughter a fidget toy to squeeze while she got a tooth pulled. You can tell the atmosphere of an office by the way they all interact with each other as well, and I was very impressed. The entire building was very clean and decorated beautifully with Christmas decor. They ran my insurance without any issues , and we did not run into any snags. I am switching my entire family over to this office.

They even returned my call from the previous day when their system was down and made sure to get me into the office as soon as possible. Highly recommend Tioga Dental if you ever need quality care.

Experiencia positiva: The dentist seems very competent. The staff is kind. It is not a scammy place (like Aspen Dental). However, I am not sure who is responsible, but they seem to have little respect for your time. The dentist always sees me for a tiny fraction of my 1 hour appointments. I came in with pain, and they were unable to do a 15 minute treatment due to a lack of time, and this is not my first time having such a logistical issue.

Experiencia fantástica: My first experience at Tioga Dental at Celebration Pointe yesterday, 11/12/25, was great!! Exactly what I was searching for. My last Dentist barely said two words to me, and never asked if I had any questions for her. When she was done with her exam or portion of the treatment, she simply got up and left the room; she never ever even said bye, have a nice day, or I'll see you again in approximately six months. She said nothing. As the patient, you didn't know if she was coming back or if she was gone for good. Being a medical provider myself, I know there should be some type of verbal conclusion to the provider portion of the visit, in addition to giving a person an opportunity to ask questions, if they have any. However, my visit at Tioga Dental Celebration Pointe was not at all like that. My Dental Assistant, Akoya, was awesome. She was bright, friendly, very personable and had a good sense of humor! She also thoroughly explained everything she did or was going to do. Dr. Bhakta was wonderful and put me at ease immediately! She had come very highly recommended to me, and now I know why! She actually comes in, and instead of sitting down and starting to do the exam immediately, she takes 5 or 10 minutes to ask you about your concerns and to answer your questions as well as to get to know you as a person before she begins her exam. She also has a great sense of humor which I loved! After 5 minutes, I felt like I'd known her a lifetime, and knew she would 'hear' my fears of dental treatments and address them prior to beginning treatment. I appreciated that. During my exam, she pointed out things to me that I was concerned about, but explained they why they were nothing to be concerned about. She also pointed out things that must be monitored, and explained why. When the exam was done, she concluded by advising that I required a deep cleaning vs. a gingivitis cleaning but that level of cleaning would be determined by my Dental Hygienist. She asked if I had any further questions (I did not). My Dental Hygienist, Nate, came in and advised that he had an opening yesterday at 2:00 PM, for the gingivitis cleaning (a.k.a. medium level cleaning) if Iwas interested, which I scheduled. I returned at 2 o'clock yesterday and Nate took me right away. I've had MANY dental cleanings, both deep cleanings and regular cleanings approximately every 6 months. I have never had a cleaning like I had yesterday! Nate was extremely gentle!! First, he applied numbing cream to my gums which I have NEVER had done before...in fact, no hygienist has ever asked me if I would like it. I didn't even know that was an option until yesterday. Nate advised he always does that for deep cleanings and if people have gingivitis or irritated gums for another reason. Another plus, Nate did not go 80 mph removing the plaque. He was not slow, but he was also not racing which has always been my experience in the past. I used to ask my hygienist in the past to please slow down a tiny bit so it wouldn't hurt so much, but I was ignored. Nate even stopped to ask how my gums were doing, and if the area he was cleaning needed a little bit more cream. In short, Nate was the best Dental Hygienist I've ever had, and I've had many. He is very gentle, and truly cares about your comfort during a procedure which can be potentially very painful. I was very impressed. I will continue to have my dental care at Tioga Dental at Celebration Pointe! I hope that Dr. Bhakta, Nate and Akoya do not plan to transfer to another office anytime soon....It will take forever to figure out where they went!!

Experiencia negativa: Worse Experience Ever They canceled my tooth filling and cleaning appointment for 10/27 reschedule for 11/12 however only for a cleaning. I am a health care provider. Hygienist wanted to argue with me that I did not have appointment for both and did not see a dentist doctor my last visit. I know the dentist so I left won’t ever being going back there. Run in opposite direction! Horrible 1st experience. And last Experience.

The working relationship and connection was very much noticed as I received treatment by Dr Bhakta. Nicole went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. Experiencia negativa: Scummy billing practices. Paid in full at the time of my appointment, and was surprised to be contacted by a collections agency months later over $30 that I still apparently owed. I was never contacted by the practice about an unpaid balance before being sent to collections (see other reviews detailing similar experiences). This practice evidently outsources their billing and has no ability to contact patients before sending them to collections. I was thankfully able to settle things without taking a credit hit, but this was a completely off-putting experience I've NEVER had with any other dental office or medical practitioner. There are better dental practices in town. I'd highly recommend avoiding this clinic unless you want a nasty surprise on your credit report later down the road.

I have never had x-rays where I never felt pain or any type of discomfort. She took her time. She has the best customer service skills I have encountered and as a nurse, I know what bedside manner should look like thank you, for a great experience. I would definitely be residing here for a very long time. My dentist was just a friendly and compassionate.

Experiencia positiva: Gotta be honest, I was very annoyed when I got here. First visit after switching from previous dentist. Someone (I think their name was Nicole) called me asking if I could come in 40 mins early instead of at my appointment time. I said sure and rushed to get there. Got there and waited almost 40 minutes. I cannot stand when my time isn’t valued. If I’d been that late my appointment would’ve been canceled and I’d be charged a fee. The saving grace was the service I experienced from Madison. She was excellent and made me forget how annoyed I was. Hopefully future visits will be more organized.

She took the time to explain so many things that other dentists (in my experience) have never done, like what she was looking at on x-rays and why something was a potential issue or why it was causing an issue. The hygienist was absolutely the best. He was patient and understanding (I have terrible dental anxiety); he also took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Experiencia fantástica: I had my first appointment today. I switched dentists because my long time dentist stopped taking my insurance. My plan was to visit several offices before deciding on a replacement. That plan changed today. When I walked in to the office, I was greeted with smiles and a nice greeting. The office was well appointed and scented candles were burning. The people at the front desk were warm and personable. I had a lot of questions. They were patient, kind and funny. Everyone in the office was this way. It seemed to be ingrained in the culture. Dr. Bhakta and her associate Nicole were wonderful. I had a broken crown that I came in for and an intake appointment for the following week. They immediately combined the appointments. It was the most thorough exam I have ever received. Nicole and Dr. Bhakti we both superb communicators and both clearly had great skill and confidence. It was a long appointment that included prepping for the new crown and talking about other issues. I won’t go into all of the details. I’ll just say that these two were extraordinary in every way. In addition to being extremely competent, they had an amazing rapport with each other that was very entertained. My search is over.

The prior dentist may not had liked it but I would have had my entire records transferred. You might have ask them to call me. Just food for thought. More x-ray seldom fix the problem. It was very professional and the office was clean and well organized. I thank you for what you do in your career. You proved to be a caring office of individuals and I appreciate that. Will be back for sure.

Even when I had to get a shot where she would have to go deep. She was there, informed me and apologized. She was amazing. From the first time I walked in, I was met with a friendly smile and greeting. That made a nice impression on me. My initial appointment went the same way. Great Dental techs and the Dr. was super friendly, professional, and wanting to make sure I understood everything they were looking at in the xrays. No problems were noted, but I can see if a person had a problem, it would be comforting to know exactly what is going on and what they can do to correct the issue. My cleaning was great, Nate did a fantastic job. I did notice when he was done the backside of my teeth were much smoother then at other dentist offices I've had in the past. I highly recommend this Dental office. Keep up your friendly atmosphere!

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ive ever had with a dentist office there is nocompassion for pain that your going through they will. Not prescribe you medicine for the pain . Unless pay 700 dollars to get get an extraction. i wouldnt need anything for the pain after you pulled the tooth then issue is gone . but I needed something while Im on the Antibiotics waiting for the infection to go down but your dentist only gave me ib propren that I already have and it does not.touch the pain im In. Agony. more than likely I will.have to go to the emergency to. Tonight cause.i literally can't take this pain anymore Im at my witts end and icame to.your.office for help i was In Dire straits and was treated like crap.and sent home with nothing for the pain I havent slept in three nights s my hole side.of my head is swelled up and throbbing. there was zero compassion for the pain im going through i have never gone through this.kind of pain and been treated like this i.was not happy to say the least and will.never go back.ypu.ahould change some policy's or fire some dentist cause you lost me as a customer and im assuming g countless others you have to have compassion in the business you are in. people are coming to you at there witts end with no other option and are looking towards you to not only fix the problem but help with the symptoms along the way

Experiencia negativa: Very nice staff, they were able to see me the same day for a retainer replacement. Unfortunately, after wearing the retainer 24 hrs a day for almost a week, my teeth started spacing out with the retainer.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bhakta is one of the most caring and excellent service providers I have had so far in my dental procedures journey. I like that she make sure that her patient are taken care of, she does the procedure with lots of gentleness and I can see that she works great with her dental colleagues and has good relationship with them and for me that is very important because the quality of the outout of your job relies on a good team work and communicaton. Also one time i cannot afford a procedure and she made sure to talk to her OM to make it happen so that I don't have to be in pain with my teeth. I recommend her if ever you go to Tioga dental.

When I originally called to make an appointment, the office staff were so kind and were quick to get me on the schedule. On the three occasions that I have visited this dentist, the entire staff have been incredibly kind and welcoming and seem to genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. They were very accommodating to all of my quests, specifically all of the extra numbing I asked for, and were very comforting and warm when I expressed how nervous I was. They truly made me feel comfortable in a place where I am usually terrified and also worked with me to create a treatment plan based on what I could afford. Be vocal and honest about your questions and concerns and I feel that they were do their best for you. I will note that it always seems to be a bit busy and there has been a good bit of waiting each time I have visited, but with such an amazing staff, it doesn't particularly bother me. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially someone with anxiety about the dentist!

The receptionist that answered the phone was not the friendliest when I expressed I’d be a few minutes late due to me going to the wrong location. But when I got there the staff I did speak to were friendly. The dental assistant was very nice and the doctor made me feel comfortable. The location is very nice and clean.

My hygienist was very knowledgeable, organized and was easy to talk to. My dentist was also very friendly, professional and she had my chipped tooth repaired in only a few. From start to finish it only took about 45 minutes which I found impressive. I would highly recommend giving Tioga Dental at celebration point a try.
