Experiencia negativa: I’m very frustrated I have been trying to get care for my boyfriend who is in awful pain and I thought I had finally found help. The lady who I talked to on the phone last night assured me that they had an oral surgeon and that they could get him in this morning at 8:30am only for the billing specialist call this morning at 7:30 and tell us they do not even have an oral surgeon and she said that apparently this is something that has been happening regularly that they are lying to patients about having a surgeon on staff.

They even took extra time to address my fear/anxiety when I told them of it. Dr. Benni is a very kind woman and thorough practitioner.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bene and Kim were friendly, proficient, and flexible. After an exam, I needed a procedure. Because of a cancelation, Dr. Bene offered to do the procedure then and did. It took longer than they expected, but Dr. Bene and Kim stuck with it, finished competently, and moved to the next patient as soon as they were done. I was impressed with their professionalism and am glad to work with Dr. Bene and her team.

Mt teeth felt great and clean and no pain after she was through The check out gal on the other hand should learn more about codes and charges before making a fool of herself trying to charge money not owed. A big turn off I was wondering if this was a shake down. I would definitely come back for teeth cleaning. As for the dentist being a no show the disregard and disrespect speaker volumes.
Experiencia positiva: Nice staff and close to home. Updated 1-14-26. This was the first time that I saw my teeth get white again from a cleaning! I want to have her clean my teeth all the time! I don't even need to get whitening products now! My teeth were stained bad for years. And I don't know as I don't touch coffee and barely drink tea and wine. I have renewed faith in smiling again!

Experiencia fantástica: Metro Midway is a great dental office. I have been a patient there for years! I drive pas a lot of good dentists to have my work done by a wonderful dentist,Dr Beni. She is kind and gentle and cares for me like I am her only patient, though I know she has many. Just wish the DSO that now oversees them was different as the DSO is not kind to staff and patients I went to the office and the atire of the front desk was appalling! I was greeted by someone wearing jeans and a sweatshirt! I didn’t know if I was in a dental office or auto repair joint. The rest of the girls were not much better. I feel the manager and regional manager Tina F needs to reevaluate the appearance of the team and either put the personnel in scrubs or set a strict dress code compatible with today’s ease

Experiencia negativa: Please don't go here. They dislocated my jaw during surgery, it's been 7 years of pain. My jaw was forced open so wide the disc in my jaw joint fell out and has never been able to be fixed. I haven't been able to open my mouth more than 1 finger wide or 10mm since the surgery. This is severe limitation. I've spent over 5k trying to have it fixed to no avail. I went back a few months after my surgery and showed them how my jaw was dislocated but they said it would fix itself. 7 years later, it has not and it can't be fixed. It's just managing it for the rest of my life now. Tmd severely impacts your mental health

Experiencia negativa: My experience yesterday was terrible. From the dental assistant Deb arguing with me about my doctor prescribing me a statin for prevention (REPRIEVE Study) to her yanking the monitor away from me when I tried to view the images they took from my X-rays I was shocked. Also what makes a dental aid qualified to talk about my meds, my medical conditions, and recommendations for my future dental care all of which she did. I was also shocked to see the dentist not have a level of dentistry knowledge around comorbidities and how they impact dental health and went straight to blaming diet and lifestyle choices. Finally I set up an appointment as a new patient and ashen I had to call in to coordinate sending my insurance info in I inferred that I needed a cleaning, potential imaging and that I was interested in ortho. During my imaging I watched the lead bib hang while the assistant snapped X-rays without even giving me the option to have the bib. When I asked she lectured me on the current literature that suggests the bib isn’t needed. When I asked why the bib was hanging she jeered and noted that it was for people who “strongly suggested” it while she rolled her eyes. After sitting for almost 2 hours I finally saw a dentist and was told I would not get a cleaning. When asked why was that not explained to me when I scheduled, rescheduled twice, and came in early for my appointment at 3:30 when asked I was gaslit and told that I should have known better and asked for clarity myself. The nail in the coffin was the dental assistant Barb got an attitude and refused to take photos of my mouth when the dentist asked her to so that a estimate could be built for invisilign. She complained about having another patient and not having the time to take care of me. That’s after having me sit for 50 mins between imaging and seeing a dentist. I was pissed, I’m not going to lie. I was frustrated that I sat for 2 hours being gas lit, made uncomfortable at multiple points during the visits, and blamed. When I tried to give constructive feedback it was met with blaming of other staff, denials, and argumentative behavior. I will never return nor do business with this company. They are a bait and switch company that will waste your time. Do your due diligence and please VERIFY what they are doing before you go in. Also get second opinions if they recommend things to you.

The hygienist was very well educated in dental hygiene and was very caring in explaining the procedures to us, listening to our concerns and making adjustments to fit mother’s needs. The Dentist was equally caring and spent quite some time explaining options and making recommendations and suggestions for future care at home. I was extremely happy with the experience and outcome!
Experiencia negativa: Ive been a patient for 20+ years. Dr Bene and her team are great but in the past 5 years, Metro feels more like a factory. Despite a dozen texts reminding to be on time, they almost always make me wait 15-20 minutes after my appointment time. The excuse is usually the weather, covid or something else. I'm moving out of state but even if I wasn't, I'd be looking for a new dentist. Stop overbooking your staff and/or come up with a more efficient model.

Experiencia negativa: Staff is always great despite what seems to be high turnover over the past several years. Scheduling has always been inconsistent and increasingly frustrating. Twice I’ve shown up to early morning appointments to be informed that the appointment would need to be moved without notice. Another appointment was rescheduled to another facility several miles away at short notice. My assumption is that they’ve taken on more patients than they can handle or simply need to be better organized.

She took time to answer all of my questions & she gave me several tips about how to best care for my teeth, things I had never heard of before! Experiencia positiva: Best dental hygienist I've seen to date (Senait). Office is nice, clean and easy to find. The online scheduling was nice, though I ended up scheduled for an intake appointment instead of a cleaning. They sent me a preregistration link and I was able to provide much of the information they needed in advance, but I had to complete the ROI for my prior records on site. They moved me into a cleaning appointment and had received my records before the appointment was over. The dentist looked at my teeth and offered a referral for Ortho. Overall excellent experience.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment for today three months ago. I received a reminder about the appointment on Monday. I arrived for my appointment this morning only to be told I'd been "squeezed out" and they didn't know why. I was told I needed to reschedule. I just took my insurance card and left. This is absolutely ridiculous, profoundly poor customer service, and absolutely unprofessional. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience at Midway Metro Dentalcare. I had a cracked old filling repaired by Dr. Gilbert and my tooth looks brand new. You cannot see the filling it matches perfect. Bite feels great. I was made very comfortable the entire visit and have had no problems with the tooth since. The entire place is very clean, professional, and everyone is friendly and helpful.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE! First and only time at this dental clinic, the dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful, was kind, felt like they were good at their job. However, the dentist... She was rude, demeaning, and shaming. Even though I have good teeth and take good care of my teeth. Her approach was simultaneously dispersing a cloud of shame and rushed. She did not care to do what's best for my teeth but out to do as many fillings as possible even if they don't require it. She also promoted a "clean diet" which a medical professional should never recommend. Because every medical professional should know that a "clean diet" is not a medical term. Unless you are only eating food that you've rubbed dirt on, you needn't worry about a "clean diet." The only person who should be recommending diets at all is your dietician of which she is not. On top of all of this, they ran out of time to do a cleaning on my teeth, so I left not getting a cleaning and belittled. No one should experience at a medical appointment, especially when it is unfounded. I have good teeth and I am a healthy weight. Again, do not go here. It feels like the dentist is out to charge and fill to make a profit. *(I did not go back for a cleaning even though the dental hygienist was kind nor did I book the dentist to do any fillings as a result)
Experiencia negativa: I generally (almost always) have to submit my own insurance claims, even after they tell me that they already have. I have a new doctor every time i visit for years now, no complaints on any doc personally but it would be nice to have the same doc for more than 2 visits. Update may 6 2025: I went to my cleaning today to find out (While I was sitting in the chair) that i once again have a new provider. when the turnover rate of doctors is that high at a clinic, there’s zero level of accountability.

They’ve always been so friendly and attentive to any questions I have- both the front desk workers and the dental hygienists. The staff seems to be majority women, from a variety of backgrounds, which I believe is so important in the medical field.

Experiencia negativa: I've been going here for the last five years seeing Dr. Mahmoodi, who's a fantastic dentist. I had some work done and you have to pay upfront, which I did every time. Months later, I received a massive bill not explaining the adjustment, when I requested the adjustment explanation, I received a bill with no explanation. I called again and asked to no avail. I recently called Metro regarding a toothache and to schedule with Dr. Mahmoodi, who's no longer there and they do not inform patients of this, and was told I needed to pay an outstanding bill before they could schedule. I asked to speak to the management regarding the bill adjustment (for more explanation) and the receptionist hung up on me. This is the second time they've billed me incorrectly (first time I was patient and kind) and have treated me with incompetence. It's time to move on...
Experiencia negativa: My dentist that I had seen for over a decade left Metro Dental care. I was rescheduled with a different dentist without learning of this until I was sitting in the chair with the hygienist. This is far from ideal patient care. It feels as though ethically, I should have been given prior notice of this and the choice of who was providing my care.
Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patience since '94 and I've always had the best service. Most of the individuals that I have had the pleasure of working with have left or Retired. The Young Ladies at the front desk now are just as knowledgeable as the staff I worked with in the past. The Young Lady that I've been working with/cleaning my teeth is Shadae! I can't say enough about her! She has really been a blessing to work with/ helping me with Dental Planning and Treatments. Always explaining to the fullest when I have so Many questions thanks Shadae! Metro Dental Care is lucky to have you on their Team!

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited the dental clinic for the first time, and I want to share my experience. The dental hygienist was wonderful—very nice, compassionate, and patient. She took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions thoroughly. However, I found that the provider seemed rushed and less engaged. She didn't take the time to explain my dental concerns in detail or inquire about my goals for my dental health. I felt as if I was overlooked during the conversation, as she mostly interacted with the hygienist without addressing me directly. It would have been helpful if she had asked if I had any questions. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding my x-rays. I had ensured that my request for the full copies was completed before my appointment, but it seemed this was not adequately communicated. When I spoke with the receptionist, she was trying to assist but didn't have the information I needed, which added to the frustration. I intended to schedule a follow-up appointment, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. With these experiences in mind, I decided it would be best for me to find another provider that aligns better with my expectations. Thank you for considering my feedback.
