Experiencia fantástica: From walking in to having a temporary crown put in, this facility and professionals are top-notch AWESOME. From being greeted with a smile and knowing my name, to a very comfortable waiting area, and being called back within six minutes… The dental assistant, Vanessa, was absolutely incredible in every respect. The dentist, Dr. Lauren H., what can I say, a 10 out of 10. Check out was a breeze with Diego was fast and simple. Simply, Willow Bend Dental is my new dental facility. They take several dental insurance plans. Just a great facility and people!

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist and dental hygienists at this office are remarkable! Really attentive and kind. I have my teeth cleaned and checked a couple of times a year. Most recently one of my crowns came off. When I went in for my appointment I thought they would glue it back in place. It turns out this was a bigger problem. I had to have a root canal! I was so anxious and upset because I had heard terrible things about root canals. Dr Mumaiz and his assistant put me at ease right away. The process was very long but I was able to relax and have the procedure completed. I also had a temporary crown put in until the final arrives later this month. All the work I had done this visit was relatively painlesss. I highly recommend Willow Bend Dental. I have been a patient for 3 year and I always receive excellent care. Update 2/25/26: I lost another of the old crowns done at another dentist. I had an appointment for a cleaning with Elsa (who I adore) and was able to schedule the crown replacement the same day. Two other of my crowns were as old. I had all three done at the same time. Everything was great. I highly recommend Willow Bend Dental for all your dentistry needs. They are amazing and very caring towards their patients!

Experiencia fantástica: I was expecting considerable pain for this deep cleaning. Had not had it done in over 30 years. My hygienist was excellent in all aspects of the process. She was exceptionally adept at putting me at ease in my pain expectations. The process was explained well and conducted with very little discomfort. I was really surprised and grateful. My teeth have never looked stronger or felt happier than they do now.

The Dentist is amazing as he should be but the biggest call out is their supporting staff. The Dental assistants have been more knowledgeable, more proactive, and more thorough than some of the main dentist that I have had in past. You can tell they definitely have some chemistry amongst each other. Shout out to This dental office and thanks for the work so far. Definitely won’t be going elsewhere.

Helena was absolutely amazing--gentle, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Gum therapy can be intimidating, but Helena made it completely stress-free. She checks with me often and gives me helpful tips to improve my gum health at home. Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic dental practice. The team is very flexible if I ever need to reschedule on a short notice and the service is incredibly fast and effective. This is by far one of the best dental practices I’ve had the pleasure of utilizing and look forward to for a long time.

Experiencia negativa: Wouldn’t recommend! I went here and had a bridge done and at the time was told if it ever breaks or chips it was warrantied for a specific amount of time. After just half of that time passed my bridge broke in half and when I went back they told me a new dentist had taken over the practice and they didn’t honor any warranty, or know what I was talking about. The worst part is I was leaving for a trip to Mexico in a few days so needed at least a temporary fix. The dentist I saw said she couldn’t cement it temporarily, I’d have to pay 2300 for a brand new bridge or if I needed it fixed for my trip I should go home and superglue it. When I returned home I wanted to be sure that was safe and everything I found said ABSOLUTELY NOT because superglue is toxic and also not waterproof so wouldn’t work either way. I’m shocked that a dentist would recommend a solution that’s not safe. It was obvious she didn’t want to be bothered or even attempt to find a way to help until I returned. A bridge should never break in half for no reason after a few years to begin with.

Experiencia fantástica: There are certain things that I have ZERO CHILL ABOUT. Losing a crown on a Sunday is pretty much a "gotta get it fixed right away" situation!!!!!! My crown came out all because of a green apple CANDY treat . The fortunate thing for me is that Willowbend Dental is accepting new patients! I'll so thankful. I booked online (which I never booked online- psssh I'm old school) however--- the Incident happened on a Sunday and I was in the office within the same week (BRAVO U GUY'S ROCK!!!!!!!) -- which almost NEVER happens. Case in point. I called my old dentist office to get in asap and they told me they were scheduling 2 weeks out. But I just received a call from them this week for pre payment on an Upcoming visit?!?!?!?! ‍ why would I need to pre pay for services NOT rendered. NO THANK YOU!!!!! I'm so glad they got the and the best part is that Willowbend Dental has already addressed My issue. Amy at Willowbend was absolutely wonderful. Any questions I had she addressed them, quickly. She was courteous, patient, understanding and she really relieved any apprehension I had about coming in. The dentist was quick, and efficient. I honestly liked everything about this visit. FINALLY!!! a place I can go and feel comfortable . Even comfortable enough to recommend them if someone I know needs a cleaning or something more complex !!! Worth the drive you guy's MANY THANKS

Experiencia negativa: I came to Willow Bend Dentistry as a new patient after moving to the area, looking to establish care. The location was convenient and the online reviews seemed promising. I take good care of my teeth, brushing twice daily, flossing occasionally, and having had braces and permanent retainers growing up, I was shocked when I was told I had over 10 cavities during my first visit. That immediately raised a red flag for me. Still, not wanting to start over somewhere new, I agreed to have the three worst cavities filled (despite originally requesting to treat only the one I was most concerned about), along with a routine cleaning. Even with good dental insurance, I paid about $300 out of pocket. Shortly after the visit, I began experiencing pain and sensitivity on the right side of my mouth.... so much so that I couldn’t chew on that side. I returned, and the dentist said my bite was too high and shaved the filling down, telling me the pain should resolve within a week. It didn’t. I returned a second time and saw a different dentist, who shaved it down again. Weeks went by, the pain continued to worsen, and since I was only chewing on my left side, my jaw became inflamed and my TMJ flared up. Still trying to get answers and some relief, I returned for a third follow-up, this time with the original dentist again. I explained that the previous adjustments hadn’t helped, but he insisted the bite was still too high and filed it again. This time, the pain was intense to the point where I was in tears in the chair. I was told numbing wasn’t an option because it would interfere with assessing my bite, which made the experience nearly unbearable. I was eventually given nitrous just to get through the procedure which didn't do much but allow me a moment to catch my breath. By the end of that appointment, I was told that if things didn’t improve, I’d need to be referred to a root canal specialist. Which is a joke considering I came in originally with perfectly healthy teeth and my cavities aren't nearly deep enough to need one. At this point, I’ve decided to have my X-rays sent to my previous dentist out of state and will be making the trip home to have this corrected. What began as a simple cleaning turned into months of discomfort, multiple missed hours of work, and new dental issues I didn’t have before. I truly wish I had trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion sooner. I went in for a cleaning, left with a dozen alleged cavities, and now may need a root canal??? No.

Willow Bend has the best dentists and professional staff. They are all welcoming and they explain everything and answer all questions. I paid cash and it was worth it. I recommend Willow Bend Dental without hesitation. They do not perform unnecessary procedures or try and push you on anything you do not need. I have been going here for over 14 years but that deep cleaning was the best. I want to say thank you to all of the Willow Bend Staff.

It was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. All that worry for no reason. She handed me off to Dr.Mumaize who is so kind and answers any questions you have. Vanessa was very careful to get all cement off of new crown. They give you the royal treatment every time.

Of course what is left of the tooth will have to come out but the dentist was very thorough and gave me several options since we had planned to remove it anyway

Experiencia negativa: Not happy with Willow Bend Dental. Did not realize they were going to treat this like a sales meeting . They brought me back and said we are going to determine if you need a healthy or deep clean. Obviously saying I need the deep clean which is not covered on my very good dental insurance and cost 2000$ are you kidding. My insurance covers a cleaning every 6 months, and I was refused service, person at the desk stated, “doing a normal cleaning would make my situation worse and they will not do it”. I’ve never even had a cavity. So essentially you are trying to get over 2000$ out of me for an advanced clean, and refused to clean them normally. The craziest part, they had the audacity to throw on a 6000$ Invisalign, for 3 months, I already had braces. Most wild high pressure sales dentist office I’ve ever experienced, will be getting my X-rays and going somewhere else!

Experiencia negativa: I get locked jaw due to TMJ issues, which I made clear during my appointment. Regardless, my hygienist kept me in an uncomfortable position while scanning my teeth. I could not relax my jaw for over half an hour. My jaw issues have gotten worse since.

However, this office loses one star because every time my wife goes in for her regular cleaning, Dr. Mumaiz reminds her she needs Invisalign . She has been to numerous dentists in the past, and none have ever said that she needed braces.

Experiencia negativa: I had a new patient appointment with Willow Bend for a cleaning and Xrays on 9/9/24. I literally ended up running out the front door. The hygienist that was attending to me (don’t remember her name)… she took my Pano xray, then Took me to the patient room to take other x-rays manually with the x-ray gun. During this time she was having some issues with the computer and the screen in the room. She attempted to fix the issues with the computer with the wires that were in a cabinet on the floor. She went to another room to get another wire and try and plug it in To the monitor that was hanging on the wall. During this time she had opened up a package that had parts in it that’s used to put in my mouth for x-rays. This whole time she is still wearing the same pair of gloves while she is touching everything from the floor to the computer wires, the computer keyboard, and the x-ray pieces that she is going to put in my mouth. when it was time to put the x-ray parts in my mouth, picked up the piece and put the plastic sleeve over it and begin to try and put it in my mouth, I asked her why would she try and put the x-ray parts in my mouth with the same nasty disgusting gloves. She was confused as to why I would want her to change gloves. The gloves she had on were filthy and she was going to put those in my mouth once I brought it to her attention she offered to change gloves and wash her hands and get a new set of x-ray mouth pieces. By this time, I’m so disgusted at the way I have seen things or not clean. The stainless steel sink in the room was very dirty. The office was dark inside very old very dirty very dusty feeling. The hygienist offered for me to reschedule if I would like to I said no thank you. I literally got up out the chair and ran out the front door. I see that this business has lots of other good reviews, and I am not trying to put a bad review, but my experience was horrible

At my previous dentist it was painful teeth cleanings and painful teeth extractions but the cleaning here was painless and I was able have a blanket in my legs and a squeeze ball so that I felt relaxed. Experiencia fantástica: I am a dentist with 20 years of experience working outside the US, and of course I am well acquainted with the inside of this work, and can professionally judge the quality of services provided. I had a deep cleaning performed by hygienist Elena, and I am more than satisfied with both the process and the result, Elena works extremely carefully, meticulously and attentively, extremely attentive to both the process and the patient. The office staff is also at the proper level, everyone is very polite and friendly, you do not have to wait for an appointment. The interior is very pleasant and relaxed, which is also important. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff was super friendly and they got work done for me that other dentist either couldn't successfully perform or was recommending that I have surgery on. They were open with the communication and I left feeling far better than when I went in to visit. I personally found my new home for my dental needs.

Not looking forward to the work that's about to happen but at least I know they'll make sure I'll have the best experience. Besides, I just love Elena the dental hygienist. She always greets me by name and gets me prepared for whatever is about to happen.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cracked tooth causing unbearable pain and walked into the Plano office and was immediately cared for! The tooth was extracted and I opted for an implant. The staff was amazing and service timely. Highly recommended!

Experiencia positiva: This place is very confusing at times. My family has been going to this location for the past 7-8 years with due to an amazing hygienist that they have at their location. Somehow, they always seem to confuse my appointments. They tend to confuse my appointments with my family and then when my family calls they tend to say that our appointments are 30 mins apart, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. They have confused so many of my appointments that it’s ridiculous. I just started my invisalign process with them and somehow they confused my rescheduling for cleaning with my initial invisalign. They somehow attached both of them for one visit and didn’t even decide to let me know, until my mom called for her appointment and they released my appointment information to her. Sometimes this place can be unreliable.

The dentist and his assistant were both very impressive in their approach to my treatments!!! The facility was very beautiful in decor and building structure! I have already recommended their services to members of my family!!!

Experiencia negativa: Targeted mailer for new patient was total scam. I called ahead to verify id be getting a cleaning, outside of just X-rays and exam. However, after not discovering any cavities I’m still required to have a “deep cleaning” to the tune of $1800. So they took 2 hours of time, to not clean my teeth and charge me $60. Sweet deal!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fantastic experience during my visit today. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They ensured all my questions were answered, and I felt at ease with the plan we crafted for my new smile. Dr. Mumaiz is not only great but also a true artist, taking the time to understand and meet my needs. My smile is progressively becoming more beautiful, brighter, and bigger with each visit!

Experiencia negativa: I moved here in April and had a tough time looking for a dentist and finally found one that accepted my insurance. I went in for a routine cleaning and was told I needed to get something done to my gums that would cost me around $700. When telling people how much I paid for this, they told me they have never had to pay that much for the same treatment. However, I know every office is different so I didn’t worry about that too much. Once I made my appointment for a cleaning, I kept getting texts saying it was for a different day. I called to confirm and was told my appointment was on January 11 at 12:00 pm. I also had an email confirmation. Upon arrival at the office, I was told I was not on the schedule and on top of that, I was not in their system at all. After spending about $700 on something at a dentist office, I expect to at least be in the system. I was very disappointed in my service here.

Experiencia negativa: This practice is not trustworthy. My daughter had an appointment for a routine cleaning but was informed she needed a gum treatment instead, which insurance later deemed not necessary based on their review of the information submitted by the dentist. Without receiving an estimate of the cost, they did the treatment, which totaled $1,300, and was told she needed Invisalign (which she previously had) totaling $3,300. She walked in for a routine cleaning appointment and walked out with charges and proposals totaling $4,600.

Experiencia fantástica: Very accommodating with my elderly mother who has some memory issues and she was under the impression that a crown had fallen out and was very upset and I live in another state and they were very accommodating. They were able to move my mother‘s cleaning appointment up three weeks and also look at her mouth which ended up being a false alarm. My mother had missed going for cleanings due to Covid and she no longer drives so we’re gonna work a little harder now to get her in every six months. If you ever went to this location before and were not satisfied, they’re all new DENTIST and all new staff and you will be impressed.
