However, my appointment was canceled because I "did not talk to a real person to confirm." I confirmed my appointment beforehand by text, automated call, and email. Experiencia negativa: I was quoted for $5,000 worth of dental work and was struggling to obtain answers as to why I needed the work I needed and why it costs so much (I have pretty decent insurance) I went to a trusted family dentistry, shared the same problems I was having, and they quoted me for $200 of work. I would understand maybe 2x-3x the cost at aspen, but TWENTY FIVE times more expensive is outrageous. Don’t fall for the trap of corporatized conglomerate dentistry. Go to a private practice.

Experiencia negativa: I began my dental treatment about 3–3.5 years ago with Aspen Dental in Casa Grande, and later continued the work at their Chandler location. In total I spent roughly $15,000 on major dental procedures. At the beginning, I was not clearly informed that receiving a dental bridge would involve permanently grinding down two healthy teeth. I only fully understood this after the procedure was already completed, which was very upsetting because those teeth were otherwise fine. During the early stages in Casa Grande, I also experienced inconsistent assistance. At one visit, a temporary crown had fallen off and a staff member who appeared very inexperienced attempted to reattach it, which took a long time and added to my frustration. I am not blaming the individual dentist there — he seemed competent — but the overall communication and support experience was not reassuring. I eventually chose to finalize treatment at the Chandler location. However, only three years later, the bridge has already fallen off and a crown has also fallen off. When I returned for evaluation, I was told my teeth had shifted and that none of the previous work could be reused. The proposed solution was a new estimate of nearly $20,000 to redo essentially the same work I had already paid for. There was no meaningful discussion of warranty or accountability for the prior work despite the high cost and short lifespan. Spending $15,000 and being told a few years later that everything must be replaced for another $20,000 is extremely disappointing. This is simply my personal experience, but I would strongly encourage anyone considering expensive dental work to ask detailed questions, fully understand procedures like bridges, and clarify long-term durability and warranty expectations before committing.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a tooth break up into my gum line, like completely broken OUT crown gone, gaping hole. The tooth broke when I had surgery done with another dentist years ago, and between fear and embarrassment I never had it tended to.. Dr Patel and her team were absolutely outstanding. The entire experience from the waiting room to wrapping up with paperwork was very pleasant. Staff in front office took over an hour to help me resolve insurance issues and troubleshoot ( keep in mind this was the day before Thanksgiving I KNOW everyone would have rather been home ! But you would have never known - she was so friendly and kind - Jillian) The young man that was working beneath Dr Patel was proficient, explained the process, and was very compassionate and understanding of my fear. Dr Patel herself was friendly , quick (I had estimated this to take 45min-1hr she was done in 20 mins!) Mouth is sore, but they're victory pains. Lengthy comment was worth writing, they kick ass , if you're scared please choose Dr Patel

Experiencia fantástica: I had my first visit at this location this morning. CC did my xrays and intake and I appreciated her continual updates during the process. Nicole came in to do gum measurements and recommendations for my deep cleaning and Dr. Patel came in for my consultation and treatment plan. Everyone was friendly and professional and Jillian did a great job finishing off w my treatment plan, financing and scheduling my procedures. I go back Friday for my first procedures. I give them a 5 for overall great experience. I have been to alot of dentists over the years and I'm very satisfied with this office. I had my procedures on Friday, Nov 7th. Everything went great. Dr. Patel did a great job with a rough extraction and Nicole did my deep cleaning. I had minor swelling and some pain for about 48 hours. Lost my sutures about 72 hours out and today my face is no longer swollen and pain is gone. I will be going back for any future work. The only downside is no nitrous during procedures. I prefer to float when having work done, but I will get over that.

Experiencia fantástica: I really liked this place. I always disliked going to the dentist because I felt judged and the prices were always crazy. Everyone here was very kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental. My xrays were taken by a young man with glasses (didint get his name) and he was very kind! The hygienist and dentist themselves were also amazing and happy to explain everything. The office manager (I think that’s who they said it was) that dealt with the financials at the end was very kind, patient, and understanding as well and took her time to explain everything and answered all my questions. The treatment plan they offered me was mostly covered by my insurance and they offer financing at affordable rates for what’s left. I was seen about 15-20 min after my appointment time but it was not a big deal at all, the appointment itself was quick and informative. My first appointment was completely free and it included X-rays. The financial part was informative and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed to go forward with what they recommended, as I had felt like this previously at different dentists offices. I’m glad I decided to go here and I will be returning in a few weeks to get started on the prescribed treatment plan!

I said why would I make an appointment with a dentist that didn't take my insurance. She said fine and hung up. Just WOW. I dodged a bullet!!!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a patient with Aspen Dental for several years, starting at a Michigan location and then transferring to this Chandler office after relocating. Unfortunately, my experience here has not been the same. At one appointment, Aspen Dental performed dental work without telling me that my insurance benefits had already been terminated by my former employer. I had no knowledge of the termination until after the work was done, and the office never informed me beforehand. This left me responsible for unexpected costs that could have been avoided if they had simply disclosed the insurance issue before proceeding. I never experienced this kind of problem at the Michigan location, where communication was transparent and upfront. I value honesty from my healthcare providers, and I don’t feel that was upheld here. Update: I still haven’t heard back after the commenter and told me to reach out.

Even the finance manager. She was very sweet and understanding. The x-ray lady was very slow was making sure that I was OK And I don’t know the other lady that I first met when I walked in the door. She was very nice. I loved her energy and I love the lady that came in there and explain to me about my teeth. It was the doctor and it was another lady. All of those were a 5, however, the wait time to see each one was way too long in between. That's why the 4 instead of an overall 5 for the entire experience. Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked in, I was treated like family. I’ve been a few times due to needing new teeth and every time I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. After my first visit, every time I returned, I was give a big wave and they all knew my name. Michael was very thorough with explaining the processes and was very kind hearted making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Max in the lab was quick and efficient making sure I did not go too long without the necessity of teeth. They fit the first time and looked exactly how I wanted them too. Experiencia fantástica: You know, I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist. A bad experience when I was young left me anxious about dental visits for years. I avoided the dentist as much as possible-until I broke my front tooth and had no choice but to get it fixed. I’d seen Aspen Dental commercials before and finally decided to give them a call. To my surprise, I got an appointment the very next morning! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. They listened to my concerns, explained my options, and created a plan to fix my tooth in time for an important event I have in June. I was relieved to see how efficient, professional, and genuinely kind everyone was. If you’re looking for a dental office that’s fast, friendly, and truly focused on your needs, I can’t recommend Aspen Dental enough. They exceeded my expectations in every way-and best of all, the entire experience was pain-free. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. Experiencia fantástica: Excellent visit, appointment got moved to an earlier slot, sign in process was all electronic update and very smooth. Technician did a couple of x-rays of the area where my crown had fallen off and took some measurements while waiting for the dentist. Very efficient and pleasant. My dentist arrived with very little wait time, and explained the process of cleaning the crown and gave me a detailed evaluation of my current dental condition. She hasvbeen my dentist for the past 5 years and does an awesome job. Aspen Dental has worked hard to improve the overall dental experience for their patients these last couple of years and I appreciate it. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Sadly, I moved away from AZ recently and I was nervous about finding a new dentist because I’ve felt so safe and cared for by Nicole at Aspen Dental over the last few years! It just occurred to me that I should let the internet know that this office is a good one :) Especially if you’re in Nicole’s hands. I have periodontals disease and for those who also have it, you know how sensitive the mouth can be with this diagnosis. Even throughout the deepest, most “invasive/intensive” cleanings Nicole made sure I was calm and comfortable the whole way. We always shared smiles & laughs at appointments. Thanks for everything!!

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrendous experience! Let's start with positive- at least front desk and doctor for courteous. Rest was all bad- billing, technicians specially the one doing X-ray and their systems. Billing lady was rude, unprofessional and vindictive when I requested email once my insurance is verified. She was lazy and doesn't understand it's not customer job to followup but provider to ensure insurance is verified in their system. X-ray tech was rude and kept asking me to wiggle the mouth screen! How can you do that!? It's borderline dangerous and customer safety concern. I guess their Management has given directive to make money even at the expense of customer service. I guess that's the problem with these chain dental services. I'm taking my business somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very nervous and it was obvious by my blood pressure but all the staff and everyone was so kind and loving to me made me feel comfortable. It means the world to me to have people that take you very serious and take the time to make sure that they go over everything and making sure that you understand everything that they stated. It's been a while since I've been able to have someone that I can trust 100%. I've had many places where they literally laughed at me made me feel like I was not even human. So when you have people like Aspen Dental treat you with so much respect as if you were there child or their family. It means so much to me. I highly recommend them. Everyone so loving and kind. Paris is amazing lady and Jillan as well. They made me calm down and feel better after all my anxiety. Again I just would like to think the entire staff that I came in contact with. I am happy to have found the best place that I've ever encountered. I honestly mean that from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I visited Aspen Dental today for an extraction due to tooth pain on both my lower left and upper right sides. Leaving so dissatisfied i’m writing this review immediately in my car lol. While the dentist (Patel) I spoke with was very nice and pleasant — in fact, she was one of the more thorough ones i’ve ever visited. Unfortunately this was the only good part about the experience. overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. Sucks that i won’t be seeing her again. I went in expecting to address my tooth pain, but instead, much of the visit was focused on an extensive treatment plan that included costly procedures, some of which weren’t my immediate concern. A dental hygienist was brought in unsolicited, poking around and worsening my pain — it was clear i needed a deep clean. This was something I felt was unnecessary and just added to the wait time and something they can bill for. After discussing with the dentist, we agreed to proceed with extractions later in the week and manage my pain with antibiotics and ibuprofen in the meantime because I had some speaking arrangements in the next few days. However, when it came time to schedule, I was told that I couldn’t move forward unless I paid a portion of the full treatment plan upfront—something that was never mentioned until after I had already spent 2.5 hours there. I wasn’t even upset at the cost, i could’ve taken care it it. It was the constant sales pitches while dismissing the reason I was there and the continued effort of trying to sell me on new things they could bill for. In the end, I left with more pain I came in with, no extractions scheduled, a hefty price tag for treatments beyond what I was seeking. While the dentist herself was kind, the overall experience felt more like they were trying to lock me in to a new car and not a patient-focused visit. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for immediate relief from dental pain. I left with no pain and no fixes, but i'm sure they'll bill my insurance for this and have no hiccups collecting the payment. In the end I got ****** and they got just another appointment they could bill for.

Experiencia fantástica: Please take time to read this .. I have been going to Aspen Dental for five years. In 2023 it was time to get a complete upper suction denture.. to prepare for the placement of this device. Dr patel did all the preliminary fitting. Dr. Barlow was the surgeon who extracted all of my teeth I was driven home the same day with a temporary denture that fit perfectly.. 4 months from that day, they did post procedure observation. in the fourth month, they had the permanent partial fitted for me that was a perfect fit and I’ve been wearing it ever since.. just yesterday, I had a complete lower arch with implant procedure. same as above Dr patel did all the fitting Dr. Barlow was the surgeon. The workmanship of both experiences is on the upmost profession better than any I’ve ever experienced in my earlier years of dental work. In fact, that’s why I chose to do dentures there’s many reasons for the benefits of them. The staff has been there for years Rosani Ava Jillian the dental technicians are very, very helpful kind and considerate the equipment is modern State in the Art. I have sent friends and family for dental work and for deep cleaning. I can only tell you my experience has been exceptional. I hope you give them a try and you have the same outcome. JB

Experiencia fantástica: I called the number at 8 pm on a Thursday night as my regular clinic was closed until Monday and I had a crown that had chipped unexpectedly. My call was answered at 8 pm and appt set up for 9 am next day! Staff was friendly and helpful with my questions and insurance options and getting me taken care of fairly quickly. The dentist and techs were friendly and knowledgeable.

Experiencia negativa: The dental staff is very kind. However, they are not as upfront about their pricing as they claim to be. They force you to receive unneeded treatments that are not covered by insurance and send you home with $38 toothpaste and $38 mouthwash without informing you of their cost. It is dishonest and very harmful to families and individuals who can't afford to pay for unnecessary treatment. We will not be returning.

Experiencia negativa: I've tried multiple times to speak to someone about my account balance. My insurance is not paying for a bone graft that I was not informed wasn't covered per my plan. Office informed me they offered financing but American First Finance closed my account, telling me to contact Aspen Dental. They have now sent my account to Collections with no notice as to them doing this. Could someone contact me? This is really frustrating when I was told I'd have assistance with payments and I do need ongoing dental care. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Patel and her staff are AWESOME!!! I have spent years in a dental chair for various reasons! I finally had to resort to removing all of my teeth and go with dentures! I could not afford implants so Dr Patel suggested feature uppers and snap in dentures on bottom! Only two implants! OMG! Minimal pain! No down time and temps for a couple weeks!! Once all was done I have enjoyed getting back to some normalcy! And she gives a seven year warranty!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND DR PATEL!!! YOU WILL TOO!! THANKS AGAIN DOC!!!

They worked with me rather than against me which was a delightful change from what I was used to. Never felt so comfortable around a dentist, and have no problem returning after almost twenty years of avoiding dentists at all costs!

Experiencia negativa: During my appointment today, I encountered discriminatory treatment directed at me as a Black woman. Despite understanding my dental needs and wanting to address them in a way that felt appropriate, I was denied the option to make decisions about my own treatment. I specifically came in for a cavity filling, yet the least qualified person in the office informed me that the dentist would only perform an extraction on a separate issue. They claimed that focusing on the extraction was somehow more urgent, saying that not prioritizing it could risk their license. This felt dismissive, ignoring my preferences and undermining my ability to choose my own care path. Additionally, they attempted to make me feel uncomfortable about the treatment cost, with an assumption that I might have difficulty affording it. What they failed to recognize was that I am fully prepared to cover the expense. It became clear that their focus was not on my well-being but rather reflected an underlying bias and lack of genuine care. This experience exposed the unprofessional and discriminatory nature of the office, where patients like me face unequal treatment and lack respect.

Experiencia fantástica: I haven't been to the dentist in about 4 years so when I finally decided, I picked Aspen Dental. I came in for my first check-up, the office was nice and clean, and so were he employees that helped me. I came for a checkup, again for a cleaning, and again for wisdom teeth removal and each individual person did amazing work and helped me greatly getting my dental hygiene up to par. Even the hostess ladies at the desk were especially nice and every person that I met on their staff team were nice and know how to keep a conversation.
