Experiencia fantástica: I had my regular cleaning, and X rays today, and I also found out why I was having a tender gum and aome sinuse pain that kept coming and going. I have an infected molar which needs a root canal, and they atarted me on amoxicillin for aome days to clear up the infection before the procedure. Looking forward to feeling better. They took great care of me!

Experiencia fantástica: I called Doctor C on Wednesday about a tooth pain. They got me in Friday at 5pm, diagnosed and fixed the problem on the spot. It’s been 3 days and haven’t felt a moment of pain. Every aspect from the greeting when I came in, to the” have a great night “ on the way out was simply wonderful. They could not have done a better job. Highly recommended.

Experiencia positiva: I went into Dr. C dental because it had great reviews and the dentist Dr. Nielsen and the dental hygienist were great but everything else was the worst experience of my life. If you're on social security and have a budget make sure they check your BENIFITS to make sure the procedures are covered like they're supposed to or you'll end up with a big out of pocket Bill like I did. And the scheduling department is a disaster. It's like pulling teeth to get them to check to see if you're covered with your new insurance. Thought I found the Dentist for me but the service is a nightmare. Update: Office manager called and told me they would be refunding my payment. It's refreshing to know that there is businesses takes responsibility for their mistake. Unfortunately I've already Started seeing someone else.

She is by far the most generous on information, and tools for your oral health. She goes above and beyond for her profession. She pays attention to your gums, body language and what you gossip about. She puts me at ease with her sweet face and disposition. If you need a new place this is it. They take you in when you need them.

I'm giving three stars instead of five because they charged us $125 for an appointment we never confirmed. The need to ensure no-shows don't happen is perfectly understandable, but charging a fee when the patient doesn't confirm the appointment is concerning. If you become a patient with this practice, be careful to understand when and how fees are charged so there are no surprises. Edit: the office contacted us and offered a waiver of the fee, which is appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: My neighbor knew I was looking for a new dentist and recommended DR.C.So I called the office and we exchanged paperwork info and I was set. Just walking in, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The two receptionists were friendly and so easy to talk to...the assistant explained and took all the xrays and pics needed and explained everything along the way..tossing in conversational interesting chit chat. Then Dr Finn came in..very relaxed explaining his exam and findings then the hygienist came in introduced herself as all those before her did,setting the stage to continue this very anxiety-free visit!!! It was a wonderful experience ..I'm just sorry that I hadn't discovered them sooner!!

Experiencia negativa: I went into this office this Monday for the first time. The hygienist was wonderful and the dentist was very nice. After my exam we briefly discussed a plan and cost. I have extremely high anxiety due to bad dental experiences, the hygienist and dentist were both reassuring however when having high anxiety your mind is a little fuzzy. In my ignorance I assumed that the cost would be offered in some type of payment plan as many dentists offer, I was scheduled for that Wednesday. I did call the dentist Wednesday morning just to confirm and discuss payment. This dental office does NOT accept payment plans. I was told the best that can be done is half down and half when getting the crown placed. Being I am on medical leave and economy I can’t pay large amounts (even half) and I am sure this goes for many others. Today’s appointment would have included a deeper exam, X-ray and cleaning which would have used the entirety of what my insurance covers, the root canal and crown (to be done at a later date) would be out of pocket. I do feel it should have been mentioned that they do not offer payment plans. Especially when I spoke with concerns of the costs. As I was leaving I did hear something in the office which struck something in me but dismissed it by the time I got into my car. I heard someone from the front office discuss a patient being concerned about costs, hearing “she had was freaking out but I talked her down”. I wonder how often does a patient come in and have this happen, maybe having a procedure done not fully knowing that payment plans aren’t available. Is that why the patient “freaked out”? I did cancel, I do understand policy on canceling so I would not be surprised if I received a bill considering my experience. If you don’t need to worry about cost then this is a good office, if cost (payment plan) is something that is needed unfortunately I would recommend elsewhere. And yes, I do know that dental work is expensive. Yes, I should have researched this before scheduling but I didn’t. I went off of who was close and available. Lesson learned..

Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Dr. C’s office on 63rd Street. I previously had a crown placed at their Valley location, which, although it came loose a couple of times, ultimately stayed on for about seven years. That gave me some confidence in returning to Dr. C’s office when it needed to be replaced. However, I was shocked to learn that the 63rd Street location—despite carrying the same doctor’s name—is apparently not affiliated with the Valley office. They charged me full price for the crown, and unlike my previous experience, it only lasted 13 months before coming loose again. To make matters worse, I was told there is no warranty on the work, and I would have to pay again just to have it re-cemented. I find this to be very poor business ethics. A crown should stay longer than a year, and patients deserve some level of assurance for the cost and care provided. The front office was really hard to talk to. I asked her to consult the doctor before making a final decision, but she refused. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. A dental practice should stand by its work, not make patients pay twice for the same issue.I will not be making mistakes recommending this office to my friends anymore.

Truman did a truly exceptional job, not only explaining and educating me on what was going on and how to correct and care for my teeth. I also would like to note that the dreaded numbing shot I’ve felt every time I’ve gone to the dentist was by far the smoothest and none painful shot I’ve ever had. For me that’s usually the worst part but he was extremely gentle and kind. Needless to say Dr. C is my new dentist now, thank you all!

She was not a patient, but the office made room to see her within a day. While being treated, she was able to stay comfortably in her wheelchair. And she was treated with respect and great care. Experiencia fantástica: My recent experience with Dr C Dental - South Hill has been so life changing. I feel it's so important to document this visit because it was one of a kind. I had Diana help me with some cleaning, and she started it off really light hearted and let me know the importantance of proper brushing, she let me know that it's time we had a talk. "Alright, lets have a come to jesus moment" Diana took time out of her day in order properly educate me on common mistakes made while brushing. I didn't know that of all things, I was brushing my teeth incorrectly. She gave me teeth dye, allowed me to recreate my morning routine, and then had me swish all the dye out. She gave me a mirror and let me see all the areas I had missed. With this new insight she gave me a tooth brush and showed me the proper way to brush my teeth but more importantly she emphasized that it's also about brushing your gums, softly, massaging them like, and doing that fully around, this is where I went wrong. She went above and beyond and showed me some tips on how to get into the hard to reach areas. This experience actually brought me to tears because I never knew I was brushing incorrectly, the fact she took time to show me how to perserve my teeth and properly educate me completely made my day, and will be the only reason I'll be solely working with Dr C Dental from now on. Thank you Diana.

Experiencia fantástica: My 12 year old son fell and hit his mouth on the side of the tub today. His adult, upper, front tooth broke right down the middle and several other front teeth were loose. I was in a mom panic and he was scared, hurting, and worried that he would “be ugly.” I spent a frantic 20 minutes trying to find an emergency dentist that was open and could see us on a Saturday. I was blessed to get through to Dr. C Family Dental on the south hill. They didn’t have the time to get us in, but gave us to a few different locations to try. She also said to call her back if I didn’t find one. After having no luck, I called her back desperate for help. She spoke with the dentist and asked me how soon I could get there. To make a long story short, they waited for us and got him in immediately. The receptionist, the dental hygienist, and the dentist were kind, understanding, and patient, and they made a terrifying experience so much better. They even miraculously saved his front tooth by bonding it back together. They also gave us in depth instructions for the rest of the healing process and explained the next steps that would be taken in a few weeks. I highly recommend this dental clinic to anyone and everyone that values excellent care. I will be bringing myself and the rest of my family to them (and only them), for all of our dental needs going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: Friday night I managed to pop my bridge out chewing on a caramel candy. Oh no, I thought I’m doomed. I won’t be able to get this fixed till Monday morning. Luckily, my wife informed me that Dr. C (South Hill office) was open on Saturday. I was there first thing Saturday morning, they got me in a half hour after I arrived and an hour later I was all fixed up and on my way home. From this day forward I will have them take care of all my dentistry needs. The staff was friendly and polite and Dr. Nielsen did a great job explaining everything he was doing and why.

I have been impressed by all the hygienists for their thoroughness and gentle touch. Excellent pain management! Also, they have stayed on top of problems with thorough exams. They make good effort to see me promptly. I drive well over 100 miles for the wonderful care.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been going here for a few years now and have had decent experiences most of the time. Today was the worst cleaning experience. She got water all over my face, wasn’t using suction near enough, painted my lips with the fluoride and I had to wait like 15 minutes for the dentist to just pop in and say I was fine. I’ve always been asked in the past what flavor of polish I would like and there was no such courtesy this time. Didn’t floss after the polish so I had grit in my teeth and fluoride on my face and lips when I left. Had to go home and brush and floss.

I trust his advice and his recommendations for treatment as he always gives me the most cost effective treatment plan. When he joined Dr. C Dental I trusted his choice and now he's part of an office that has awesome choice of hours and days….. He was able to see me first thing in the morning as well as get me what I needed to manage my pain . Additionally, he referred me to a specialist where I live. I had a very positive experience and recommend seeing them for your dental needs. I also want to shout out his assistant Brittany(sp) she made me feel so welcome and cared for. She is an asset to this dental office.

Experiencia fantástica: It was Saturday and I was desperately searching Google on behalf of my elderly mother for a dentist that would be open on Saturday. My mom was in terrible pain and she could not wait until Monday when her dentist opened. I found Dr. C Dental who is open on Saturdays and has many great reviews. I called their office first thing in the morning and they were able to see my mom the same day. When we arrived, the receptionist already had our paperwork and insurance information ready for us. Only thing left was for my mother to be seen. They called her into the examining room exactly at her scheduled time and took great care of her. She said everyone was kind and explained the diagnosis to her. We were impressed to see her walk out so soon and see her smiling given the pain she was in. She said she will be changing dentists and is looking forward to scheduling future appointments at Dr. C Dental. I was relieved to see my mother more relaxed after her appointment and finally begin heal. Most importantly to see how well she was treated with care and patience. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience! They got me in immediately as I was in a lot of pain with wisdom teeth coming in. Jasmine was kind and helped me get settled down in a room by thoroughly explaining the process and turning on the massage function in their dental chairs. On top of that they made sure to develop a system beforehand where I could let them know if I had any discomfort during the procedure with my hands. Luckily there was no discomfort and I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted in less than an hour. Amazing care from their whole team and I would dare to say my best dental experience I’ve had in my life.

It is always nerve wracking to find a new provider in a new area and we are definitely satisfied with this office. Experiencia fantástica: I waited to write a review about this practice until I had some experience with them under my belt. I went in today and had my teeth cleaned with Sarah. This is the second time. My teeth have never felt better. She’s very good at what she does. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Scheduling is easy. I’ve seen Dr. Nielsen now for several major procedures. He’s a very competent dentist, easy to talk with, knowledgeable and really seems to care about what my hopes are for my smile. Let’s face it, good dental health and hygiene is an investment. I love Dr. Neilson understands what I am able to do and when in terms of my finances and works with me to keep my mouth as healthy as possible. I’ve seen a lot of dentists in my life. I can strongly recommend this practice. I originally picked them out of a long list of practices and am grateful I landed here.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a abscess Tuesday 3/12 that I had to see a different dental office for so I could get some antibiotics, I was not impressed with them at all. On Friday called Dr.C dentistry and they were able to get me in Saturday 3/16 to pull the tooth. They were not only professional and courteous as always, they had the extraction completed in about 5 minutes. Thank you Dr. C Dentistry

Experiencia fantástica: Best dental office I’ve ever been to! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The facilities are pristine and the equipment is top tier. They truly care about you and are invested in not only your oral health, but whole health. Staff is very knowledgeable about any questions I might have. More recently, I found out their patient dental chairs give you a massage while you have your cleaning! Talk about the whole package. I’m so glad to have been going here for the past year & will keep recommending!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom had some tooth pain last week and was able to get in to see Dr C with I. Just a few days. He is kind and compassionate with his patients! As it turns out is is more of a ligament problem than a tooth problem. He complemented my mom on the care of her teeth and gave her great suggestions to elevate the pain!! Thank you Dr C!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Been awhile since I went to the dentist and looked around online and found this location. My schedule is always changing at the drop of a hat so I was super grateful they were able to get me in on real short notice. Office looked warm and comfortable and the staff was nice and professional. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend this office.
