Experiencia positiva: We had a very good experience here. Everyone was great. We were with Kylie the most. She was amazing!!! She was always so sweet. Thank you Kylie and team. BUT, the one in Holland by Spring Meadows is absolutely horrible. I had 2 fillings fall out within days of each other and they were big ones, and when they were using that ultraviolet light or whatever it is to harden and cure the filling, the dentist told one of the girls " I thought you charged this yesterday". And he decided it was okay, and it cost me a lot of money from missing work and a lot of pain, absolutely unacceptable.I will never go to that location again. The 3 ☆☆☆ is because of the location in Holland, not the one in Toledo.

Experiencia positiva: The majority of the staff are wonderful. They are attentive and truly care about their patients and the job they do. However, my experience DMD Badam has not been a good one. A year ago had a filling done. While brushing my teeth, the tooth that had been whittled down and filled by DMD Badam crumbled producing a deep pocket, with the pocket being larger then the opening. When DMD Badam observed the tooth at an appointment, said there was no way it just happened. That I neglected it for a long time. Which I brush religiously every day. The procedure to fix it, left me feeling like a science experiment on a production line. I consider myself to be considerate of others, yet she shoved bite guards so hard into my mouth. That my mouth hurt for hours after I left. She also did more filling after that appointment, which I asked for explanation or to see x-rays. Since I didn't feel any issues nor could I see any in a mirror. I was told no the monitor was broken. Months later, all of the work that she has done, I find it difficult to find anything to eat or drink (even water) that doesn't cause a sensitivity or pain. During one visit could hear her working on a patient in the next cubicle. She came directly into my treatment cubicle with a pair gloves on and i asked her to switch them out. To which she rebuked i was being unreasonable. I'm looking for a new dentist, after my current retired, and seen that dentist Badam is there. I'll be looking somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience. Their whole insurance confirmation system is backwards. I called to make sure they accepted my insurance and what they do is book an appointment regardless and have someone else call you a day before your appointment to check insurance. Even with someone calling me back and giving him insurance info when I got to my appointment the receptionist said there was an issue with my insurance. Problem is she was on the phone for 20 minutes dealing with a billing issue while there was a room full of people waiting to check in so she couldn’t look into it. Hygienist calls me up and I had to explain to her I was waiting for more info on insurance situation. She goes back to her manager and had them run it and comes back and says they’re waiting for approval do I want to be seen anyways I should be good. Or I could wait but the appointment would take longer. I scheduled my appt according to my days schedule so no I’m not going to wait for something that should have been taken care of ahead of time. No I’m not going to be seen and hope I don’t get a massive bill that my insurance would’ve covered. This was done terribly and you should let your receptionist actually focus on checking people in instead of having her take care of a billing department issue. Go to a small dental office not this commercial place that is just focused on getting as many people in as possible with no regard to customer satisfaction

Experiencia negativa: I believe they are one of the most crooked Dentists in the area I made the mistake of going back For A third time They check my insurance balance Charged total amount available Then tried charging me 700 more on top of that for a single Lower denture , with totally true yellow teeth installed in them Said to me it will cost more if I wanted to match my upper denture I will be calling th BBB on them Like I said 3 times they did this tried over charge my insurance company and my self For 3 different visits .

Experiencia negativa: Has been the worst dental experience of my life. There quick to get you in and charge you and your insurance company,do the work when there a problem with the work they did they can't see you or to book up. I had all my upper teeth removed and to be replaced by dentures. I told them I work second shift and had to have the prescription put in in the morning so I can pick it up before work so I can have my teeth removed the next day I even call that day to remind them,no had to call off work that night to get the prescription. Now I have an infection were they removed the teeth. They said if I had any issues like this to come in and see them. Went there first thing in the morning, no one could give a damn had to pull my dentures out in the waiting room so they would get me an antibiotic. Insurance paid four grand I paid eighteen hundred out of pocket. After they get there money they could not care less. Do not go there!

Experiencia negativa: Never go to this place. I got off work 4 hours early just to be jerked around about my treatment when all I went in for was a simple cleaning. I ended up leaving after 2.5 hours of being there. Front desk lady did not greet me and when she did she had a bad attitude. Then she disappeared and never came back to the front and people were trying to figure out how to check in and ask someone questions. Not to mention that while my girlfriend was in the waiting room she witnessed 2 people up and leave because they weren’t being waited on while it was 30 minutes after their appointment. The other workers were very loud when talking and the waiting room could hear them speaking about patients. HIPPA violation anyone? And it stunk in there. Don’t waste your precious time making an appointment at this sad, sad excuse of a dental office.

Experiencia negativa: I was told $250 over the phone for tooth removal and X-ray but they ended up charging me 400$ once I got there and it was for the same service nothing extra. I explained I was looking for same day extraction but they made me wait 2days to come back meanwhile my abscess had busted while waiting. Came to my appointment on time but the person at the desk forgot to check me in even after taking my payment so I had to wait over half an hour. The dentist did the job but was extremely painful due the numbing injection not working. Overall the people were fair and decent to me I just felt a level of unprofessionalism and overcharging me and not being straight forward about the price. I would not recommend or go back there .

Experiencia negativa: I just had an appointment with Dr. Badam at Aspen Dental in Toledo, Ohio (apologies if the spelling is incorrect). I was supposed to have three teeth filled, one of which was a wisdom tooth. The problem wasn’t the front staff. It was the dentist. She walked in with a very clinical attitude, as if she really didn’t care about me as a patient. After she starts, she pokes me with a needle where I felt a burning sensation in my mouth. I flinched because of the sudden pain. She stopped and waited, asking how I felt. I made a joke to lighten the mood but also express concern by saying, “Well…I kind of don’t like dentists.” I laughed to let her know I was joking. She berated me, saying she didn’t care how I felt about the situation, but if I had any more burning sensations. That was my cue; it would go downhill from there. I said nothing about her response and let it slide. During the procedure, I also started coughing because some water went down the wrong pipe when my mouth was open. I let her and the assistant know everything was cool, the young lady got me some water (by the dentist’s snobbish insistence though I said I was fine. I let that slide too) and we continued. A few times during the procedure, I flinched as a reaction because I felt some pain. After the third time, she berated me again, telling me I needed to stop flinching, that I had done it four times as if I had done it on purpose to bother her though she was the one drilling in my mouth, and just raise my hand if I felt any pain. That was the last straw. This dentist talked to me not like a customer or a patient. She talked to me as if she hated me for no reason and I was less than her. I told her point blank: 1. I flinched as a reaction, not because I was trying to make her life more difficult. 2. I’m 57 years old. Don’t talk to me like I’m a stepchild. 3. If that is something you can’t do, we can end this right now. She opted to end it as I confronted her outright, saying I could get a refund when I didn’t ask for one. Though I had an appointment with the other floating dentist there for the next week and I verified they could see me instead before I left, when I returned to get information of who I needed to contact for a complaint, suddenly the other dentist couldn't see me, even though the receptionist said it was possible. My guess is that the dentist did that. I don’t know what her problem was and is. I got some strong misandry vibes when I was there. There was no apology for her unprofessional, uncaring, rude behavior. I did nothing wrong. When I spoke up because of the rudeness of this dentist’s behavior, she pulled that vindictive move, if indeed it was her. It could have been the office manager, but because of my experience, I wouldn’t put it past the dentist to pull something like that. Suffice to say, this doesn’t inspire me with a desire to go see a dentist, though I need the work done, apparently. Absolutely horrid experience.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is absolutely AMAZING! I have neglected my teeth. Plus, I have no insurance and hated the last clinic I went to. From the moment I walked thru the door there everyone was so incredibly nice and made me feel relaxed. They also made me feel like I had my own special team. They worked with me to set up a payment plan. It was half the amount that I thought it was going to be. It includes everything from start to finish. If I knew all of this I would've done this a long time ago. By this time next month I will have a brand new smile. Just in time for Spring. If you are in need of dental work and or no insurance go and see them. They will get you the help you need. They are incredible. Thank You to the entire staff at Aspen Dental on Talmadge road!!

Total money grab. • Staff was rude from the jump. • Demanded payment up front for work I wasn’t even scheduling yet. • Pushed their sketchy payment plan like it was a favor. • Got condescending when I said I’d be using my HSA instead • Office manager had a serious attitude problem. Got a second opinion elsewhere — turns out Aspen tried to charge me for almost twice the work I actually needed. Absolutely disgusting. Classic corporate scam vibes. Avoid if you value your time, money, or dignity.

Experiencia negativa: Totally getting run around.appts getting changed. I lost 200 today. Took day off work for my appts. They called and cancelled. Tech leaves early on Fridays. Made my dentures wrong. Been without teeth for 3 weeks. They write a time on my appt card and its always wrong. Will never give them anymore of my business.

Experiencia negativa: My husband had a broken tooth and setup an appointment with Aspen to remove it. When the technician took me back for x-rays she stated that the whole process would take 3 to 4 hours which He stated was unacceptable. He spoke with the Dentist and found out that they could get it done within 2 hours. The Dentist came in to inform me that it would be 2 - 3 hours. He walked out and we will speak badly about Aspen Dental and their supposed service. We had heard unfavorable things about them but took a chance to get a tooth pulled, sorry he wasted his time.

Experiencia negativa: This has been one of the worst and longest lasting experiences in my life. Let me start with a good; the staff, the doctor, everybody is amazing and kind. I drove 40 minutes every time to get there and they were very accommodating when I ran into traffic (or just late because I can’t seem to read time ‍♀️) But let’s get to Motto. It ruined my teeth and my smile. I have an overbite now that I’ve never had before. I went through 18 trays and it did not close my gap, nor did it straighten my bottom teeth. So we were gonna do a couple more trays, but when they sent the digital image, it widen my gap and that’s not what I wanted at all. So the doctor said she would get a hold of Motto. Six months later, multiple phone calls a crooked smile, an overbite, and I officially cover my mouth when I laugh. I wish I would’ve Kept my original smile because now it’s ruined. I recommend the office, but don’t put those aligners in your mouth.

Experiencia negativa: The actual work being done and the dentist are fantastic and the best I've encountered. However, the scheduling and wait times for schedule appointments the past two years has plummeted. 90% of my appointments get rescheduled and once I am there they tend to be an hour or more behind even if I'm the second appointment of the day. They have no concept of time management anymore. It use to be very snappy in and out, but not anymore.

Experiencia negativa: Made a 10am appointment for upper denture hairline crack repair. Arrived early, filled out all the paperwork and was made to get x rays of my entire mouth as a new client. I incurred debt and pain from the X-ray hardware being placed in my soft palate and up against my gums and I told tech she was hurting me. Didn't stop. They advertise same day service for denture repairs starting at $49. The staff was rude from the front desk back. I waited over three hours to talk to or see a dentist. I believe this office stacks charges on people who have insurance..file was hand stamped "has insurance" like, let her rip.....I argued that I shouldn't need X-rays to look at and possibly repair my upper plate. They said it's new patient standard operating procedure. I vehemently disagreed. No resolution was achieved. Many people who had also waited hours, also got up to leave. If Aspen wants to have me change my review, they'll really have appease me and take off some ridiculous charges from my bill. I put my trust in this office and feel let down! Now it's lunch time and we'll be sitting here til the cows come home or it closes at 4:30pm, whichever happens first. I'll add to/amend as the circumstances warrant. There was an issue w my insurance not loading in the system. The office mgr asked me if I was paying myself and not using insurance. I looked at her like she had two heads and said no I never declared that. I want to use my insurance. The dentist eventually saw me and said they can probably fix my denture by 4. That the staff in that department were out to lunch. I said you'll have it fixed by 430 when you leave because I was here 4 and 1/2 hrs before the 2 hr before end of day cutoff for same day repairs. The dentist intimated strongly that I needed a more satisfactory fit. I stated I only came in for a denture fracture repair. The office manager was present. I also filled out a smile form and hand wrote "I only want my denture repaired.". This has been a ridiculous run around. My denture is in my mouth and I'm still waiting over three hrs later ..

They always cancel appointments at the last minute or tell you that they called you to move the time, in the end if they manage to attend you you have to wait hours and hours. Experiencia positiva: Front office was very rude regarding me not being able to answer the phone call to confirm my appointment prior and I was left to felt like I was missing multiple appointments by staff when they had rescheduled me multiple times last minute due to staff unavailability and equipment failure. I understand that thing happens but I do not appreciate the lack of professionalism I have experienced by the front staff. The actual dental work and teeth cleaning I have experienced is great outside of that.

Experiencia negativa: SCAM. I had set up a appointment a week ahead and confirmed it. I show up and no appointment for me. I had to make a second appointment and confirm that one twice. After 2 hours of waiting I never saw a dentist. I asked the assistant to take my denture to lab to see if hairline crack could be repaired. She took it rinsed it off was gone for 30 seconds and came back. No lab person could have checked it in that small time. Plus they never noticed nor questioned the temporary filling i had in my tooth. Even after xrays and scans. So it stands to reason that all they wanted was to sell services I did not need. I even made a appointment with another dentist as I waited. Then I asked if I needed to pay for anything. They were lost and had to check several times to see if owed anything. Sad, slow and uncaring.

Experiencia positiva: The medical staff and nurses were professional, the management and support staff not so. The office manager was trying to pressure me into buying services by lying about my dental scans being only available for that day. According to Ohio law, I later find out that they are supposed to retain scans and X-rays for six years. So I called them the day after and the doctor tells me the scans will be available for one month! So who knows what’s right, not very upfront type of people. Not going back.

Tried to return calls and confirm the appointment and give insurance info, was only routed to an AI. Got inside to be met by a rude receptionist who didn’t seem to care or understand that I was at work when they called, nor do I have insurance specifically through work either, then to be told the insurance I DO have, isn’t accepted

Experiencia negativa: Do not go to Aspen dental. Their office reps will sit you down tell you they verified that the service is covered through your insurance. Then have you pay hundreds of dollars to schedule the procedure only to bill you a astronomical amount after. Saying the service was not covered. Them I call about for months and the so called office manager Jeremiah was supposed to call me back on several occasions but never did. When I finally talk to him his poor excuse was I be so busy with patients. So Jeremiah you were too busy for months to call me back. Just a sorry excuse for a office manager.

Experiencia fantástica: I go to the Talmage Rd location. I got the best service with my first visit then after that it was not so good. Appointment was at 10am and I didn’t get seen til 11am. No one gave me the courtesy of acknowledging me nor to at least let me know that there is a delay. I got a crown on that doesn’t fit well and looks horrible. I called it in and I just keep getting told that I would get a call back. I strongly dislike poor customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my dad in for two visits and both times, the staff has been amazing. My dad has dementia, and they all treat him with patience and kindness which I very much appreciate. On top of that, it's very easy to schedule an appointment online and the wait time for a doctor was not long. I would highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in pain and booked my appointment online in the middle of the night. I wasn't sure what to expect going in today but I was pleasantly surprised. My left cheek and jaw were really swollen due to my wisdom tooth and I could barely open my mouth. Kay on x-rays was so sweet and gentle the whole time with me, as were the hygienist and dentist I saw. There was a lot of info thrown my way but everyone took the time to explain things to me; I haven't had dental insurance for several years until recently, so I knew going into this that I was in rough shape. No one here judged me or made me feel bad in any way. They were all very kind and it was a great experience. I will definitely be going back. Thank you all for being so great!

Experiencia negativa: My girlfriend came in twice and each time went terrible. The first time we got there an hour early for a 8:30 am appointment and waited for 4 hours to get a basic exam and xrays. The whole lobby was filled. As we were going through what was wrong, the dentist asked where her parents were (she is 20 years old) and tried to make a payment plan and scam her out of even more money than necessary. The second time she went she had to go in to try and either confirm or reject that plan but the dentist kept trying to push her into making one and then tried to get her a loan through Americas First Finance when the system crashed. She got sent home. The next day she got a text saying she missed her appointment. We won’t be coming back.

Experiencia negativa: I would give them zero stars if I could. This office is a dumpster fire. Both times my partner had to visit, first for a consultation and second for the procedure, they were HOURS behind schedule. Even if your appointment is at 8:30 am, don't plan on sitting in the chair until 11 at least. Then apparently the oral surgeons only work on Fridays, and after a 2 hour wait past his appointment time, they finally put him in the chair for the procedure. Immediately after, the surgeon began stressing how critical it was he take his antibiotics and not to skip a single dose for the first week but then they never sent it to the pharmacy. We tried calling multiple times before they closed to follow up on the prescription but were sent to voicemail every time. Now he will miss the first 3 days of the antibiotics and we can't get any help from the corporate line either. But I guess since we paid our bill in full at time of service, they don't owe us any human decency.

Experiencia positiva: ell I wish it was a bit better! My initial visit was awesome!! Loved the staff!! And the Dr's were amazing ! Loved thier newer tech they use to scan your teeth and they can show you EXACTLY what is going on in your mouth!! They did a entire mouth upper and lower scan, exrays and evaluation! Plus!!! A consultation for!!!!! $29.99!!! But informed me about a one time fee of $39.99 savings plan which would include that very days procedures if I chose that route so for only $10 more I had all I mentioned done and they called in a script for an abcess tooth I had at that time. So at that very point in time on that day I was very very happy!!!! Then?? Kroger took 3 days to fill it!! and I had never had this particular antibiotic before so to my surprise it was making my stomach hurt quite bad! They did ask me at aspen if I had any adverse reactions to any medication and I said no! So no harm there on their behalf! BUT!!! ONCE I noticed it was the antibiotic giving me stomach pain I contacted aspen! And explained my situation and they insured me they would call me in a different one that caused no issues in the past and I was thrilled they understood and said they would leave info for the Dr of my situation and I assumed contact me, or just call in a different one. 2 days pass!!! My abcess is becoming more inflamed from not being able to stomach the initial antibiotic so I call again!!!! And once more was told the same thing! It was a Friday this time was praying I didn't have to wait for the entire weekend to pass if a different one was not called in again. Well !! Sure as bleep! NOTTA!!!! NOTTA dang thing was called in and by this time my abcess is winning and I? Well I am damn near confined to my couch doing any and everything possible to attempt to lesson the pain!!! With almost zero luck!!!! Finally hell!!! It's now like 9 days later after my initial phone call requesting a different antibiotic!!! (Sighs) I call once more...... this time a woman answers ! I wish I knew this angels name!!!!!!!! And I explain my situation, and she offered her what felt like sincere concern! And said.... I will personally and physically go talk to the Dr the moment they are free from the patient they were helping at that time!! And ask them if they can help me to get an antibiotic that day that would start to rid me of this abcess therfore taking the debilitating pain away!! AND!!!! She said!!!!!! I will also personally call you back the moment it happens!!!!!!. Welll!!!!!!! Shit you not!!!!!! 7 min later!! She called and said ( they called you in a different antibiotic!! One that i had indicated worked well for me with no side effects!!!!!! And tho i was in pretty bad paini knew now the end was near as far as the abcess was concerned. Thank god for her. But besides that!!!! LOVED IT!!!!! ✌️

Experiencia fantástica: I had an overall great experience. I went to Aspen Dental for the Motto aligners and I was very pleased with how good I was treated from beginning til end. Cindy greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very helpful and from there the dental assistant and dentist were both great and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was there for approximately an hour and a half and will be getting my aligners in 7-10 business days.

Experiencia negativa: Great service the first day my next appointment I couldn't believe this dentist showed so much irritation like she was annoyed with me. like this my first root canal so naturally I'm nervous and uncomfortable let's just say she didn't help if u don't like your job go else where why make someone feel even more uncomfortable then she rolled her eyes smh everyone else was nice though

Experiencia positiva: I am a new patient. Got in the same day ! Appointment was at 3:00. I only waited for 10 minutes in the waiting room and was taken back. For about $30 today, I got my x ray and oral check up. Dropping off my dentures for a chip repair at 9 am tomorrow morning. Pick up is said to be at 11:00 am. Less than $150 tomorrow. It’s NOT quick…I am happy to wait. I called over 15 places and they could not or would not help me. Most have not returned my call. Thanks Aspen.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Aspen Dental, including my examiner P, the dental hygienist Reagan, and Dr. Badam, were all incredibly helpful and forthcoming with advice and my treatment plan. I’m usually quite anxious about the dentist office, but it was truly a great experience. I certainly will be continuing my treatment at Aspen Dental.

Experiencia negativa: Not impressed right now. I've had pain in my mouth for over two months, because of a bad tooth. I finally get an appointment to get the bad tooth removed, and of course they call today because they need to reschedule, because somebody else has an emergency, and they scheduled them for my appointment day. Why is the other person so much more important that I have to be in pain even longer? Why would you change my appointment to make room for them? Why wouldn't you ASK if I was willing to reschedule instead of just doing it and hoping it's okay with me? It's not right or fair that I have to wait even longer now, especially after making me pay in advance for the tooth removal, and that was three weeks ago. I guess I need to find somewhere else to go.

Experiencia fantástica: I was scared going in, I don't like dentists since I had poor experience in the past. But I was immediately put to ease. They were very gentle. New technology prevents gagging when X-rays are done.

Experiencia negativa: Writing this for my wife, Diana. She went last week to Aspen Dental on Talmadge Rd Toledo, OH. I was waiting in the lobby. It took 2 1/2 hours to take X-rays because the first technician took 4 views that didn’t turn out, a second person took another set of 4 which also didn’t turn out, a third person finally got it correct after the 12th X-ray. It was a nightmare. The equipment in the room was filthy including the light which had brown drippings on it. It took 3 different blood pressures cuff’s before one would work. In my opinion, this company is Incompetent, and I would never advise anyone to go there. Diana Bensman

Experiencia negativa: Now I usually do not do reviews at all. I've been having issues with my teeth very sensitive front ones was hard to take xrays cause I was scared they were gonna fall out. The lady who did my xrays with the twins SUPER SWEET AND NICE. Now this is examine was a new patient one for free xray etc. Well I let them know I wanted to know about my gums after the doctor assured me my teeth were fine she didn't finish the xrays instead let me feel left without any answers crying while she was unsympathetic blamed my teeth on me unknowingly grinding them instead of taking the extra time to get 2 more xrays that was supposed to be apart of my new patient examine. Then the lady with all the rings and nails was just rude as hell. Uncaring to my situation or anything. I didn't feel helped cared about and I told the sweet old lady up front and was on the verge of tears. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Just people who want your money and make baseless assumptions without really trying

Experiencia positiva: Overall care was amazing, great friendly, understanding staff. However my appointment was at 2 and I didn't even see the Dr til 3:30 and then at the end of my visit I waited an hour to discuss my treatment plan with management. After EVERYTHING and all that time I still can't afford THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in mouth work.looks.like I'll be in pain until all my teeth fall out Their "financial assistance" don't help when your bill is $25,000
